The room had some sort of smell…dingy moldy smelling. Considering the cost of this property they really need to consider updating and getting proper cleaning done.

The place seemed clean and modern, beds were comfortable, room was spacious. I liked that the TV pulled out and pivoted. There’s a mini fridge and a microwave that was convenient. I liked the location, safe and restaurants nearby within walking distance.

No very helpful and friendly front desk staff. The water is so cold. We cannot even take a proper shower. Had to waste so much water at beginning to get warm water. However the water temp was still lukewarm. No place for us to hold our personal hygiene supplies in the shower room. So disappointed at this stay. I would say this is my first time to leave this low rating to a hotel stay. I probably will not choose MARRIOT hotels in the future if I can. I prefer Hilton properties.

nice courtyard hotel that met expectations for staff, cleanliness and location.

Drained very slowly, all food was alacarte. To expensive, had to cancel Thanksgiving night and go to Hampton Inn 2 blocks away. Marriott should provide sone type of monetary compensation to our credit card used to show they really care about customer service. The room was so clean and comfortable! The staff were amazing and friendly the entire weekend!

Super clean hotel. Exceptionally comfortable beds/pillows. Good room layout. Premium shower. Mini fridge/microwave. WholeFoods nearby. Peaceful, quiet. Felt safe. Staff were warm, welcoming and efficient. Convenient location. Worth the couple of extra bucks.

The dining options, within walking distrance, were very good. The ease of getting to UTK campus was great - either straight shot down Cumberland or on the interstate!! Great location!!

The check in process was very efficient and the front desk assistant was very nice and helpful. The chocolate chip cookies are delicious! There is minimal parking as they are in a business park/shopping strip and share spaces. The elevators are fairly small also. We had a king room with a sofa bed. The room smelled absolutely terrible. Like mildew and fish. I had to go and purchase air fresheners that barely helped. The sofa was soiled and also had an odor. I purchased Lysol and sprayed it all over. The bed was fairly comfortable. The lighting in the room and bathroom was minimal. Hard to see, especially in the bathroom. There was a microwave and small refrigerator that were nice amenities. Overall, it did the job but I would never stay here again.

The staff are excellent.

When I booked it didn’t know hotel was under renovations. I couldn’t leave my room one day because they were putting new carpet down in the hall. Should have been told ahead of time and the worker was rude and annoyed when I told him I had to leave. Parking is not great because there are office buildings in same lot.

I loved everything except the bistro food. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was awful. Tastes like boiled chicken with zero flavor. I also ordered a citrus Sangria, it tastes like straight beer, no flavor whatsoever. I will stay at hotel again but will not order food from there.

Clean and large rooms

It was superb! I drove in from Washington DC, ran an hour late driving. The receptionist was so pleasant, made me feel at ease driving in from so far. The hotel room was Immaculate and the bathroom was very Eclectic and like a SPA!!!

Very noisy hotel, both inside & out. Room smelled musky. Bed slept horribly. Sheets & towels felt very rough. Blackout shade on window had holes in it & light came through in spots. Built-in charging ports are outdated & only supports USB plugs. TV was mounted to the side of the bed, rather than in front. Checkout time was 12:00 pm, but housekeeping was knocking by 10:15 am. Staff was friendly, but wasn’t very welcoming upon check-in & didn’t inquire about the stay satisfaction upon checkout.. Did not offer guidance on parking, which is extremely limited & unusual. Arrived for check-in at 9:45 pm & the bar was already closed..

We always stay here when visiting our daughter at UTK. Super convenient to campus and plenty of services located nearby. It has friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms.

I booked this hotel for my parents after my dad was in a bad accident and sent to the local hospital. When they arrived around 2 AM my mom explained to the man at the desk what had occurred, since my father’s clothes were covered in blood. The man at the desk went above and beyond. He told them to leave the car, helped my dad out of the car, helped them all the way up to the room, and even brought him some water and crackers. I don’t know the man’s name but we are so appreciative and you are the epitome of what customer service is!

The service at this property was spectacular. I usually stay at the Four Seasons or Ritz but stayed here due to its location. The service was on a par with any 5 Star Hotel, from the front desk to the housekeeping service to the bar/breakfast. The amenities were great. The room was spacious and clean. I very highly recommend.

Great stay. Helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable enough. Close to everything and felt safe and quiet. My only complaint is not something easily fixed. The shower has a glass wall but no door, the shower head was very powerful and not adjustable at all, and the shower floor didn’t seem to slope properly towards the drain so all of that resulted in a ton of water coming out into the bathroom. Totally soaked the floor mat.

This was a great stay with many conveniences, like Starbucks and dining in the lobby. Easy parking, convenient location near interstate 40. Several chain restaurants very close by. My only complaint is we chose this hotel because it has an indoor pool, but the pool wasn’t really heated. It felt really quite cold getting in, and my toddler was shivering within a few min. I asked the staff if the pool could be heated more, and they said there is an adjustable thermostat but they don’t have a key to unlock it. Pretty frustrating to see the solution but not be able to fix the problem. It was a fine stay otherwise!

It was a good location for us, food options made it easier. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the parking but it wasn't the worse.

There is no good reason to ask for a credit card when the stay is already paid for. I declined to present a card but it took some convincing. Also the room was not as described. The reservation included a sofa bed….there wasn’t one.

First of all, the property is well located close to Downtown Knoxville and all of the retail surrounding West Knoxville. We came for a Vols game and found it extremely convenient to the campus. Second, the property is extremely clean and appointed with a Starbucks cafe and many amenities. The staff is impeccable and will go above and beyond. They even assisted with a dead battery with our vehicle on our departure date. We will be back to this property for sure.

Pulled up and there were about 100 bikers with music blaring and smoking dope. They blocked the driveway and I could pull in. I walked in and poor girl at desk seemed pretty upset. I just cancelled my stay and went down the road. I was told this had been happening g a couple of weekends in a row. It was pretty scary to be honest.

Very friendly and provided great service. The restaurant was closing at 10 and he continued to provide friendly service until they closed despite how busy it was. Hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Several things were wrong. The shower had other people’s hairs in it. We had a family emergency and had to leave after only being there for two hours. Asked for a partial refund not a full one and they declined stating we stayed long enough to accommodate for a 221 dollar room.
