Very friendly staff and nice amenities.

Everything was expected for this price range. We had a room next to the elevator and I was afraid we will be woken up several times during the night, but the people on our floor were quiet, so all was well. No surprises, which is a good thing!

What was most concerning was the cleanliness of the floors and carpet. My son splashed water on the bathroom floor, and when I wiped it up with a towel, the towel came away brown/gray and picked up pubic hair that clearly had not been cleaned. His stuffed animal also picked up pubic hair from the carpet and transferred it to the bedspread. Additionally, there were two phones in the room that appeared as though they had never been wiped down or sanitized. One of the most basic expectations of any hotel stay is a clean room. That is not an unreasonable request, yet this property failed to meet that standard. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to housekeeping and quality control.

The hotel needs some work. The calking in the tub was terrible. The place was clean. the breakfast was small, but OK. Staff was not friendly, they were accommodating, could have been nicer.

Expected much better!!!! Carpet in our room was filthy !!! Certain a tho ha like the toilet paper holder was broken and needed fixing !! Most of the windows in this particular location had broken seals which caused the windows to be cloudy and very unsightly!! Short staffed which left employees doing the work of 2!! The possitive here were the employees that they did have! They were very helpful and accommodating! Won’t be coming back !!!

The location was easy for being out of downtown. It wasn’t the cleanest. Stains on curtains, grout in the shower, and the hair dryer was full of lint.

Room smelled like a wet dog

Good location and close proximity to everything. The staff was very nice upon checking in and always greeted us when we were coming and going. The hotel is definitely not new and needs a bit of updates but it was comfortable, quiet and convenient. The make your own apple cinnamon waffle on the continental breakfast was delicious.

Chipped paint, stained carpets, old curtains with homes in them, toilet ran nonstop. Beds are like sleeping on cereal.

Overall clean looking building/rooms. Treadmill belt was torn and almost caused me to fall when I first stepped on it. I reported it and they did nothing. The cover to my ice container had dirt/mold on it (I did not report it, just didn’t use it). TV was difficult to operate and very few channel options were available. I had to ask for additional toilet paper because the only in our room was a partial role in the holder. Meat on breakfast bar undercooked and eggs overcooked.

The area seemed safe. Hotel wasnt to my clean standards. There was a sock and cracker wrappers in the pool. Our fridge in our room didnt work. Beds were clean but bathroom floors didnt seem too clean.

The room is clean, but the whole location is a bit dated the biggest problem I had was with the water and the elevator. Parking was good.

The room was very clean overall. There were a couple of "garbage" items behind the bed closest to the wall...an empty water bottle and couple small pieces of paper. However, we were pleased with the size of the room, bathroom was clean, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was fresh too

It was a good hotel for the east side of Knoxville since I had to head east the next day so I would drive against rush hour traffic.

This was a handicap room, although we aren't handicapped. The shower was horrible, needs to be updated, shower head replaced. Plenty of towels. Room was ok, setup because of handicap was weird. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was normal stuff, ok.

The first room had 2 big bugs and a *really* funky smell in the bathroom. But staff changed our room quickly and politely when we told them about these issues. Room is big. Staff is friendly. We had a nice stay.

Courteous staff, room has a slight musty smell and sofa definitely needs replaced. Sofa has stains. The main light-blocking curtain is stained and should be replaced. Beds are comfortable & lobby area is clean & inviting. Pool area is small.

The room appeared clean but the “latch” on the closet door was a makeshift piece of metal that was detached on one end and hanging loosely inside the mirrored door. Just seemed like the basic construction of the building was a little slipshod. But, the stay was nice anyway.

Room floor plan was very good, but poorly lit. Saw one large cockroach. Floor was dirty and sticky. TV’s did not work at first, and no instructions were provided.

Staff was great Danielle was wonderful very helpful very nice. When out of her way to many sure everything was good for us. My wife had got out of hospital and she made sure our room was ready when I got wife for hospital so my wife could rest. Danielle is a wonderful person and so was the rest of staff. Breakfast was good.

Everything else in the room was great! Plenty of space and plenty of room to move around. Hot water is great and water pressure. Breakfast is amazing. Staff were always at the front desk. So nice and generous. Hotel was clean. Perfect for a weekend stay but some things could be updated. Laying $400 for the weekend seemed high for the amenities we had available.

The beds were comfortable and the staff was nice. The breakfast choices were lacking. The rooms definitely showed age with the mirror paint cracking, shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed and the AC rattled. Walla are very thin and I could hear the people next door talking.

This was our first time in this hotel. It was a bit farther away from Knoxville and the price reflected that. Remember, you get what you pay for!! We figured we’d try and see how it was. The staff was very friendly however that was it. The room was dirty. The pull out couch which we needed to use was unacceptable. The mattress was dirty and under the sheet it had dead bugs. So we closed it and had to use the couch as the bed. The rest of the room was subpar. The free breakfast was terrible! The oatmeal was hard in the packets, the loose cereal was extremely old and very hard. The waffle batter…I don’t even know what came out of that when I tried to make a waffle. We stuck to the pre-packed food as long as the date was current. Ended up going to McDonalds. That felt like a huge step up. So overall the experience was awful. I would never EVER stay there again.

Hotel smelled moldy. Clearly there had been water damage. Hotel room was in poor condition.

Couch was broken like a large person had set in the middle of it and broke it. Didn’t feel as clean as last time. TV didn’t work several outlets weren’t working. Toilet paper dispenser was missing. Front desk clerk was super friendly and very helpful. Well lit parking lot and hallways. Felt very safe and conveniently located to other dining options and to our daughter’s school.

Started ok with friendly staff at check in, but not great after. For some reason the elevator had a perpetual wet sign. Halls look like they've been flooded with dirty carpets. Bathroom had some mold in the corners of the tub. The bed was displaced and my son cut his leg on a metal piece that was sticking out and covered by the bed skirt. Breakfast was usual.

It’s good and easy

The room smelled like feet. The shower is so small you can’t turn around without touching the assist bar or curtain.

The room was dirty. There was a syrupy liquid on the tophandle of the refrigerator. The bathroom was dirty. There was absolutely nothing about this room or hotel which warranted $650 for 2 nights. This was your standard, run of the mill low end hotel.

Shower had a little mold. People outside were smoking Marijuana. But did tell front desk gentlemen. He took care of the matter. Definitely need to post sign "all kinds of smoking is no allowed".

Our room was clean but we only had one light in the bathroom and it was super dark. No mirrors anywhere in the room other than the bathroom so getting ready wasn’t easy.

Great little hotel, No frills. Small pool. Basic breakfast. Exactly what we wanted.

We stay at Comfort Suites because of the space for our large family but this one disappointed. From first calling the front desk to make the reservation the clerk wouldn't match the hotels.com price sending us back to the website to book 3 rooms for our family! Upon arriving the "Clerk is away from the front desk" sign was up which was often the case that evening. I say that because we had to go back often. To ask for more pool towels and were told there weren't any and when pressed he did provide the only clean towels which were actually floor mats! At first the TVs in multiple rooms did not work, but then we switched the HDMI port which at least gave us a picture, but still glitchey. Another guest was waiting at the front desk later that evening saying her TV didn't work and I suggested our "fix". The main lobby drinking fountain didn't work and public use men's bathroom off the lobby had a door that needed to be slammed to shut and yanked to open because it wasn't aligned correctly. Breakfast and desk staff the following morning were pleasant which was a nice change. There are multiple Comfort Suites in the area and hopefully the others are in better condition and better staffed.

I was unable to reside here due to the elevator being unavailable. I was not able to carry my necessary luggage / equipment up the stairs so I needed to change locations. It was just an inconvenience more than a bad review on the property . First world problems

The guy who checked us in didn’t check to see that I had requested an accessible unit so had to check in twice. Then when we got to the room there were no towels or wash cloths so called down. He said he was too busy so I needed to come down to get them.

Our TV wouldn't work so, we were upgraded to a 2 room suite that had a tv in each roim.

Mattress was horrible, sink in the bathroom dripped constantly. Our room was next to the ice machine so it woke us up several times during the night when people were getting ice.

The mattress was impossibly hard. I never leave hotel reviews but I was lying in bed (ON bed would be a better way to put it...it felt like lying on a board) unable to sleep composing this review. I slept terribly and woke up sore all over. I'm not normally that picky about mattresses but these were just awful. Also the shower handle didn't work properly--it was loose, which meant either you had to keep the water colder than comfortable, or you had to run the risk of the handle falling down mid-shower and turning the water way too hot.

This has been one of my favorite places to stay during our vacation. The guys at check in were super nice. Gave us maps and suggestions of places to see. They even offered to have the kids down and they would teach them chess! Breakfast was wonderfully set up. I would def stay there again!

Very friendly staff at check in and check out. Bathroom counter had not been wiped since previous guest. It had leftover hair from beard shavings. Noticed it late at night, so we cleaned the counter ourselves and told desk next morning. They said they'd make note, but offered no compensation.

The hotel personnel were friendly and polite. The hotel was very nice. However, those beds/mattresses were horrible. They were so freaking hard that I couldn’t fully enjoy my trip. I have never slept on a more uncomfortable mattress before in my life. Everything else was great!!

The hotel staff were very welcoming. The room was spacious and the desk was large. If i needed to work from the room, there was plenty of desk top to comfortably work from. The beds were a little higher than most but so comfortable!

Average hotel that was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is an older hotel that has been maintained. Breakfast was good with hot and cold choices, coffee, and juices. I would stay here again.

Prompt service

It was an average hotel as expected. Carpet in room was very dirty, i put a pair of socks on because i am not a big fan of hotel carpet anyway and they looked like i had been walking outside in them all day. The air conditioner did not work correctly and the room stayed very warm. Other than that everything was ok. Basically we were there to sleep and leave

Unfortunately we were in town for a funeral. We came from GA and SC. We needed a hotel quickly and we did not know there was a big Tennessee football game. We were so happy that the Comfort Suites were able to accommodate us with three suites at a reasonable rate. The suites were clean, and the breakfast was great. HATS OFF TO DANIELLE at the front desk. She showed so much grace, empathy, and compassion towards our family. I definitely recommend this hotel. I hope the General Manager knows how wonderful his staff is. Lastly, the ladies that were preparing the breakfast food were just as kind. Even the housekeeping staff asked if we needed any additional towels, etc. Thank you Comfort Suites.

It was just a one night stay but the hotel was clean and I loved the fresh smell everywhere. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great as well. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

We read reviews so thought it was decent. It was not. There was pee and gross stuff around the toilet and smelled like pee badly. There was multiple areas that had caked up dirt and stuff. The bed was hard, the sheets not soft and had nobs. Carpet not clean. The couch legs were tipped out and literally not safe, old dirty thin couch. Yuck. Please dont stay here.

The staff was very friendly, from the receptionist (whose parents used to live near my address), to the cleaning individual and the breakfast area worker. I would recommend this facility.

a little awkward to use

The staff at this hotel was outstanding. Friendly, and overall very helpful. We had the breakfast and it was very good. It was a simple spread that was done very well. The woman that staffed the area was outstanding. She truly cared about her job and demonstrated that by keeping the area clean and refilling any items that ran low.

Check in was easy and fast. The rooms were a bit dilapidated- old curtains, closet door that wouldn’t stay closed, but the beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great.

This was a fine hotel for a quick, overnight stay. It was late and raining and I didn't want to drive in the conditions. Had we been staying longer I would have seeked another place to stay. The hotel is clearly undergoing some upgrades and maybe next year I'd revisit, but the rooms were a little damp. Some of the towels were wet, not sure that had been switched out from the previous guests. The carpet felt slightly wet, as did the bed closest to the air conditioner. I think the room just has poor ventilation. Some water damage around the vent in bathroom. One of the bed skirts had mildew, which we brought up to the desk clerk at check out. Beds were comfy though and staff were very friendly. Breakfast buffet was fine. Overall for a quick stay it was fine, but would not stay for longer trip.

Property was well kept up for the most part, a couple of really small nitpicks (holes in the curtains, tiny bit of mold in the bathroom) but overall very good hotel.

The room was clean, but the bed was not really comfortable. The king size bed had 5 very small pillows. Breakfast was decent but all of the fresh bread selections were stale and stiff.
