Outdated. Very, very outdated. And the beds are awful; so bad that I refuse to give more than 3 stars. Essentially, good for a night but, nothing more.

The bed had hair all in it. I had to request new sheets and change the bed myself. Also the toilet and tub were dirty. I had to clean them. Also one of the towels behind the toilet had hair in it. It ok. I just didn’t like the unclean room.

Breakfast was good and best bed we have ever slept in at a hotel.

Hotel was being painted, paint trays everywhere and no wet paint signs, but wasn't really an issue for us. Our toilet was rickety and did not fill properly. Front desk attendant was the only employee there and couldn't fix it. She asked us to try turning the water valve all they way on and offered a new room if that didn't work, but we declined as we were exhausted. Did not get fixed. Staff was super friendly though. Hotel listing says they have rollaway beds for a fee, but told us that theirs broke and they threw it away and did not replace it, and that there were no rooms with sofa beds available. This was an issue with 2 toddlers. They did not have cribs either. Hot tub jets would only work for 5 minutes at a time, then you have to wait 10-15 minutes for them to work again. Pool was absolutely freezing. Very clean rooms, but other than that, was not super pleased.

When we first checked in our room the toilet would not flush and we had to be moved to another room. Beds were comfy, but the hotel is very dated.

This hotel was average. The staff was super nice. The chairs in our room had stains but the beds were clean. The indoor pool, exercise room and hot tub are a definite plus here. The breakfast is my only complaint. The options were the most limiting I've seen in sometime at a hotel. They include 1 waffle maker, blueberry muffins (if you beat the crowd), eggs, patty sausage, biscuits, gravy (the worst I've ever eaten), toast and 2 kinds of cereal. The highlights were a parfait area and you must try the cappuccino in the coffee machine.

They had a little bit of everything and tasted pretty good. I loved the grassy area out by the side of the building I enjoyed laying out in the sun enjoying the beautiful weather it was so peaceful. I don’t have any complaints

Beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. We needed the pull out sofa bed and did not have sheets. Had to call front desk and was told we needed to go get them. I guess it was late and only one person at desk, but when I went down to get them there was no one there. Waited around 5 minutes for them to show back up, thankfully with the bedding.

The room was advertised as two queen beds plus a sofa bed, but was actually only two queen beds.

The staff was awesome, the pool was nice, and it seemed fairly clean. It was super outdated, the beds weren’t comfy at all and they dipped in the middle so we rolled on top of each other all night.

I enjoyed my time here at best western! The breakfast was delicious, room was clean, and overall positive experience! My favorite part was the jacuzzi area that is open 24hrs. I don’t have any complaints because the price I paid for two nights was a great one considering all the positives. I even contemplated staying another night just because I was enjoying myself so much. 10/10 would stay again!

Not the best place to stay. We stayed 3 nights and they do not offer cleaning services. Rooms were ok, bathtub was clogged and we were give a plastic wand to unclog it. Not a great experience.

The location was excellent. Could be downtown Knoxville in 8 minutes. 2 really good restaurants very close by. Rooms and interior newly updated. Overall, a great place to stay.

The one thing I did not appreciate was that my circumstances changed and they were not even one bit accommodating when I had to try to make a change the day before. I get that it’s not your fault my plans changed, but not even trying to work with me was not appreciated. Guy at the counter was friendly, but customer service above him was not.

The renovation caused me to leave a day early. I was not happy with the noise.

BED BUGS!!!

The staff were very nice upon arrival. We noticed the room smelled as though someone had smoked especially after visiting another room. The room was in the 40’s when we entered. The heater did warm up but after returning from dinner we saw a mysterious bug in the bathroom and did not feel comfortable sleeping there. We were given another room immediately that did not smell and appeared to be much cleaner. Breakfast was a nice amenity. We should have requested a different room immediately as the rooms were very dissimilar.

Had to move rooms because the fridge in the first one didn't work so that was very accommodating of them. The staff was nice and I had no issues. However, I was sad that the very day i checked in the hot tub stopped working and wasn't repaired yet when i left 7 days later. Hope they got it done eventually!

The room was clean and the staff was courteous. However, there were issues that made our stay less than enjoyable: the toilet clogged, 2 lightbulbs were out, including the long tube light over the sink with no one on the property who could replace it, the iron poured dirty water on the clothes we were trying to iron, and the mattress had a distinct sag in the middle which caused difficulty in getting a good night's sleep.

It was fine !

For a budget option, this hotel was very clean and comfortable! I booked last minute, same day for $110/night, and at that price point, the options aren't great. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean the towels and linen were, as well as the bathroom. The hotel itself is a bit older, but they make up for it by ensuring you have a comfortable stay.

The whole area around there is pretty safe. The staff was extremely friendly. They kept the food well stocked at breakfast. Room was clean but you could tell it used to be a smoking room.

We had a better experience with our room during our second stay. The lighting in this room was brighter and we moved a lamp to add lighting to the entry and closet. My husband would still not use the pool and hot tub because there were a bunch of people there.

The bathroom was the cleanest area and it had leftover, what looked like coffee stains, on the counter and tissue box from someone spilling it. One of our daughters found “ treasures” around the bed. We went there because the kids wanted to swim the next morning and they had a hot tub. We didn't allow them to swim because we were unsure of the upkeep of the pool. We daringly went down to the breakfast to find it wasn’t stocked and it was just cheap processed food out a carton or box and the floor was sticky. So we packed up and went to First Watch (They get a 10/10). We will never be back to a Best Western again.

Everything was great—Lynne at the front desk was very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. I love that Best Western keeps the bathtub option—so many hotels only have showers. Everyone should have a choice (I can’t imagine families with little ones having only a shower)…Food was great (breakfast buffet included in price)…hot tub was relaxing…I cannot complain!

This place was a dump. Smelled of smoke in the halls and elevator. Our room was dark and dingy. The toilet wouldn’t flush. The beds were very uncomfortable.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful with suggestions about where to have dinner. The room was okay, but the lighting was poor. Most lightbulbs were not bright enough for us to see and work effectively. The inn did not provide an office chair with rollers in our room - something my husband needs. The inn did serve a pretty good breakfast.

Honestly was a perfectly fine stay. I was there for two nights. Only issue was in my particular room, it smelled a bit off when I first got there. Almost mildew-ish. I didn't think much of it, just thought it's an old building. Well turns out the AC unit was leaking into the room and getting water all over the floor. Didn't notice until I was packing to leave after my second night. I'm assuming that's what was causing the smell. Told the front desk as we left and they were nice about it. That's all! Otherwise, breakfast was good for it being a hotel and included in the stay, staff was nice and respectful, guests were good to be around.

Definitely needed to be turned down, as we were sweating, when not in the pool. Rooms were simple, and included a refrigerator, which is always nice! Free bfast in the morning, was the standard cereal/oatmeal/eggs/meat/waffle iron/juice, that you’d expect. Staff was pleasant. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

I was moving my mother to Tennessee and needed a place to get some sleep before driving 4 hours home. The bed was comfortable. I got some good sleep and made it home safely.

The room was in good shape and provided K-cups for coffee. The front desk had a box that they could provide you more. The only thing that I could not verify was clean was the dark and dingy carpet. I don't wear white socks so I could not verify how clean the floor was. The staff were a majority senior crowd. The evening front desk person was very young and obviously immature. He took a phone call while I was in front of him. He was speaking with another employee and continued to check me in while he was on the phone. That should have been a "I'll call you right back I'm with a customer" moment. The breakfast was well stocked my one of the most important people on the staff. These are the ones that make sure you get a hot or cold breakfast and keep the area clean. You did a good job! Overall, for the price, I think that this hotel is a good place to stay, especially for those that just need to have a place to lay their head for a night as they travel along the Interstate.

Very spacious room with jetted tub. You do hear neighbors and hallway noise, but it's not awful. I have no idea what time breakfast was, but it was too late by 9:30

I was concerned when we pulled up because the picture of the outside was not as nice as it was on hotels.com. When we got your room and I was very happy with it. My only complaint was the pull out bed. It was horrible. We had to go out the next day to buy an air mattress for our so to sleep on.

The room was extremely musty smelling, bedding and pillows were damp, and the bathroom smelled so bad like urine which made the room smell so bad. It was so disgusting we only stayed a couple hours. To check out was a joke. I stood there for around 15 min to wait for someone to come check me out so I could get a printed receipt of my stay. 10/10 don’t recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly our only complaint was the toilet is very low to the ground. It reminded us of an elementary school toilet. Could of just been the room we were in. I would recommend a comfort height toilet. Other than that no complaints. We would stay again for sure.

My room had a bad mold smell order .. I had to change my room 3 times .. the first and second room had a real bad odor and the third room was better.. the staff was nice about switching room and were definitely accommodating but I won’t come back to hotel ..

We were on a 5 day mission trip with a group and Mrs Lynn that was the receptionist was so amazing. She was always so helpful no matter what we needed… from a hair dryer to directions.

The hotel seemed short staffed. I checked in, went to my room, and it hadn't been cleaned from the last guest. Went back down to the desk, and they gave me another room which was fine. The reception employee told me they were short staffed, so not all rooms got cleaned. The next morning, she told me that the person in the first room before me checked out early and didn't notify them?

Front desk staff made check in a breeze. After being told at check in that the bedding for the pull-out sofa was in the room, it was not. When I called it was brought up but I had to show the staff the garbage on the pull out mattress and under the mattress. Carpeting was sticky. After 10 hours of driving, we just decided to deal with it. We will have to avoid next time.

I had a very nice overnight stay here. The room was clean, cozy, and quiet. I like the free breakfast and coffee that was available from 6 to 9 AM. Front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would have no problem staying here again on future trips.

Hot tub smelt weird

Lynn at the front desk was very friendly and polite. The rooms were very clean and the property was well kept. We just stayed for a quick overnight due to bad weather but would have loved to stay another day!

It was OK. Not terrible by any means. But I Have a 2 year old so I am more picky when it comes to Cleanliness. The carpet had crumbs that should have been vacuumed and the bathroom needed to be cleaned a little better.

Our room was okay, clean enough for an average hotel room. The main complaint was that the bed had a sharp metal end sticking out from under the bed skirt, caught us on the shins a couple of times.

This was my third stay this hotel. The staff was very kind at check-in. The room was clean and had plenty of linens. Breakfast was very filling. The atmosphere was quiet, and friendly. I would definitely book here again in the future.

This hotel definitely needs some attention. Interior painting is needed. The water for the shower was like warm at best.

The property was old and showed its age. The walls had spackle on them waited to be painted. The pool door lock did not work therefore it had to remain open during pool hours. The staff was extremely friendly. Just need to spend money on the building upkeep.

It's dated but clean. At midnight requested desk to quiet neighbors. Limited but satisfying breakfast. Good for one night stop and sleep.

Other than that, nothing else was really of concern...but that one thing really was kind of a big deal. I would have asked to be moved, had I noticed before we had already unpacked.

The room was confortable and clean. We had everything we needed for our short stay. Maybe add some variety to the hot breakfast options. That would be my only suggestion.

Breakfast got kind of boring as it was the same every day. Change up the meat from sausage to something else to mix it up a bit. Also put hot sauce out for the eggs.

Hotel trip was booked in error because of Hotels.com date switching. Business asked for a refund and motel denied.

I didnt like that the cleaners were vacuuming in the middle of the night, when i was trying to sleep,didnt like the pillows but did absolutely love the morning and evening clerks!!

The shower took over five minutes to get warm. And then, it never got much more than luke warm. There was urine residue on the side of the toilet. A to-go box (with food) was waiting in our fridge. The bathroom sink had a clog. There was one small tv in a room that sleeps 6. The ice machine on our floor was broken. I do want to say, the guy that checked us in at close to midnight was very friendly and helpful.

I was really disappointed, I rented a room with a jetted tub and the jets did not work and found hair in both bathtub and shower. Dirty under chair cushions. Was my second stay in 6 months probably will not be back

Room smells like smoke

The bed closest to the window was sinking in the middle of the bed. Breakfast was terrible and very limited options. On day two, they ran out of stuff to make waffles. All in all a disappointing stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast needs help. No real butter for the waffles, no bananas. Food was only slightly okay. Nice pool and hot tub.

The staff was friendly and helpful for most things. The breakfast was good. The area around the hotel has a couple of good restaurants to eat at. When we arrived in our room, we were greeted by a live cockroach on the table. One of the blankets on the bed had visible stains on it. In the bathroom, there were spots on the walls and floor that looked a lot like dried blood. I used a wet wash cloth to clean that up myself. To make things even worse, we had to leave two nights early because hurricane Milton was headed towards our home in Florida. We asked about a refund for the two nights and were told no because we booked through Expedia. I contacted Expedia on Friday after the storm went through and power was restored and the hotel told them no refund.

Older property but the service was excellent the breakfast was grate the room was clean. I would recommend it for sure

Very clean and the staff was very thoughtful and polite.

We stayed in the jacuzzi room, it was dirty and a lot of the things in the room were broken. The lamp didn’t work, the AC unit although it worked well is busted up. They jacuzzi tub knobs inside don’t work and the tub itself doesn’t do very well as should be expected for a price of the room. Staff was friendly but that is about all I would give. Place needs updated and cleaned better.

Close to places we were going

The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. My room was quiet, with plenty of space. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I slept well both nights I was there. The bathroom had plenty of towels and counter space. I appreciated the free parking and lots of available spaces. I was glad to be near gas stations and a few fast food places like Burger King and Subway. The hotel breakfast was definitely adequate, with waffles, biscuits and gravy plus eggs and sausages, cereal, bread for toasting, mini muffins and little Danishes, mini yogurts, and coffee and juices. It was fine for me. It was a great stay!

Highly recommend the Waffle House that is nearby.

Excellent checkin

Great spot, easy well lit parking lot. Friendly helpful service. Only weak point was it took a long time to get only luke warm water. Sure it was a temporary problem.

The breakfast was good. The rooms were in need of repairs and updates.

Overall this place is excellent. We got the room with the jetted hot tub and overall everything is great. The one and only issue I have which may prevent me from returning is the price of the room was much higher then I would expect for this area. They are one of the few with a jetted tub in the area but close to $300 seems a bit outrageous. Everything else was great.

One of the cleanest, quietest places we have stayed. The price was great and the location was convenient for our plans. Highly recommend it!

Easy location but some areas in the room could be updated

Bed needs replaced.. up all night. Toilet paper holder too far from toilet. Breakfast over too early and everything cold. Food ran out with no refills. Not enough toiletries, AC unit way too loud and no room service. Clean but sorry, never again

Breakfast at 9am and they had taken the plates away but food was out. Asked for a plate and received a negative response from the staff.

Nice place, and clean. Staff was helpful. Bed was a little worn, had some dated amenities. But otherwise, it was great. It has a pool and exercise room, but I did not check it out. Breakfast hit the spot.

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, and always had a great experience. This time was a little different, the toilet moves, the jacuzzi only had Luke warm water. They have been waiting a month for a repair person (this is one of the reasons why I chose this hotel). We like the location and plenty of place to eat at in the area.

Great service and stay during a road trip

Nice quiet room on the third floor with room for 6 with the pullout couch. Pretty clean and safe, good breakfast too. Drains needed cleaning though.

Hotel was ok just dated not as clean as I would have expected, Hot water was not hot could shower with it on full heat.

We have stayed here several times and haven't had many issues, but this time we found it to be less clean than previously. Also, the pool wasn't clean and the hot tub jets weren't working. We understand that happens and maintenance needs to be done from time to time. Doubt we will be returning.
