- Friendly and helpful staff
- No breakfast or coffee available
- Hotel is in need of updates and renovations

The floors of our room felt nasty before the freezer malfunction.
- 5/5
The owner is a sweet man from India, we shared a nice conversation about life and how to live happy. Love this place.
- 5/5
It was clean, helpful staff, and affordable prices. Beds we're comfortable and clean.
- 5/5
This motel is wonderful. The price was reasonable and the room had been recently renovated. Highly recommended.
- 5/5
It was good service
- 5/5
Very modern, wonderful stopover stay. Great location and staff was very helpful.
- 4/5
The proximity to both the Amtrak station and the downtown area is excellent. I will stay at The Maverick most anytime I am in Klamath Falls!
- 5/5
Got in late, so main interest was going to bed. AC worked, everything was clean and bed was good. Woke in the morning and left promptly. Definitely would stay again.
- 4/5
You get what you pay for. It’s super cheap for a reason but if you’re just here for a night or passing through it works. Bed was comfy!
- 5/5
AND terrific location near highway and importantly terrific cafes/food places. I didn't need air conditioning. I totally recommend this place and plan to use again later this month.
- 4/5
clean, basic, all good
- 3/5
Room had conditioner, but no soap or shampoo so had to ask for it. Tub/shower had nothing on surface to prevent slipping. Furnishing/lighting good. Not esp. quiet or noisy...hard to tell as seemed it was far from full at this point in year and week.
- 4/5
Clean comfortable room, fridge and microwave in the room however no table lamp.
- 5/5
Room was very clean looked like itbwas recently remodeled. Little road noise but got better after midnight. Didnt use the heater or air conditioner.
- 3/5
good location, pet friendly, clean room, nice staff, but ice maker has been broken for years and no coffee in room
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
Asked for walkin shower. Gave me tub. Asked for no stairs. Gave me 2nd floor with no elevator
- 5/5
Staff was excellent
- 1/5
I will not be staying there again. Floors dirty, bathroom towels are very old and thin and lastly the ice machine out of order.
- 3/5
Microwave did not work. Someone with a dog in their room barked all night long. The room was super clean and nice otherwise.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Phone didn't work. TV had to be adjusted by the staff before it would work. Noisy people at 2 a.m. next door arriving and waking everyone up nearby. They should have been isolated to a different room where no one was around them. Other than these few things, the stay was good.
- 5/5
Clean room with great service at a VERY good price. If your just taking a shower and want a good night's sleep this is the place to stay in Klamath Falls. Great brewery and restaurant next door.
- 5/5
My stay was good. Room was a bit dusty.
- 5/5
Thx again!
- 5/5
No need for ac right now and lots of safe parking
- 4/5
Was nice and warm with the heater, my room was very clean and comfortable, great central location to downtown for checking out the retail shops, and restaurants. Have stayed here before, and will come back.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
It was just what we needed after a long drive
- 4/5
The owner was helpful and accommodating. We had a nice walk downtown and saw the local shops and nice people. 4 stars because the ice machine has been broken for 2 years. Otherwise, nice.
- 3/5
The bedroom was clean, the beds were good. It is a fair hotel. I think it is a good option considering price and would stay there again.
- 4/5
This is a pit stop on the way to Burning Man. I have stayed here many times going back to when it was a Best Western. It is ia well used, convenient hotel. Nothing outstanding but nothing bad either so for what we need it works. Always clean and convenient. Check in fast and friendly.
- 5/5
great service nice and quite rooms, recommend will stay there again.
- 3/5
If you're looking for a comfortable bed at a inexpensive price, this is your place. Several items in the room need fixing. I sure that would be the case with all of the rooms. Hundreds of cigarette butts pile up on the stairs outside along with those contributing to the piles at all hours. The room itself is adequate and no doubt the necessary maintenance to upgrade it would increase the charge. Hence, its a trade off.
- 5/5
Older, “updated” property, clean and quiet. A very good deal if you’re looking for a place to shower and sleep.
- 3/5
Ok hotel and management. Could find better options around if plan property
- 3/5
Staff was nice. The place is most definitely dated and towels/sheets were quite worn but clean.
- 4/5
We liked our stay at this hotel. The inside of our room was very clean. There are lot of bugs on the outside of the property. They seem to be harmless but get inside the room. So we needed to keep the room closed, even momentarily. This is not the fault of the property. Southern Oregon has lot of bugs. They clean the outside of the property as well. They missed cleaning the room on 1 of the 4 nights we stayed there. The square footage of the rooms was too small. The price per night was low comparatively so it worked out. There were too many rules to follow here and we did follow them. The owner was kind enough to accommodate a request we made. There is a top notch pizza place, coffee shop in the vicinity. The veggie pizza we had was yum. Some homeless people walking around in the area scared us. But mostly they seem to be harmless. There are freight trains honking horns at night. We had white noise machine so it turned out to be ok. Don't know what's up in this area but many hotels seem to have a metal cover to the bottom of the beds. We kept stubbing our feet to that. We totally enjoyed our trip to crater lake. Bit far from the southern entrance but we hit highway speeds.
- 4/5
Nice room, quiet. Restaurant next door walking distance. It's a little off the beaten path.
- 3/5
The room was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Appeared to have had some water damage as there was a large bubble in the paint on the top of the wall next to a bed (no water in it). At night the gnats swarm at your door and as you enter your room they come in and end up getting all over your bed and pillows. Also there was a TV remote in the bedroom, however it does not work the tv. We called the office from the phone in the room as it appears to work but no one answered. We had to call from our cell phone to get them to answer. No one ever showed up to assist us. Apparently there is a second remote that works the tv that you have to request from the office. When booking, I asked the gal to match the internet price and she did over the phone, however when they email your confirmation they did not include pricing and so when I went to pay at check in my bill was $100.00 more but I couldn’t refer to my email as the price I was quoted was not in the email confirmation. Our cleaning ladywas amazing and always helpful. The water pressure is amazing.
- 3/5
Otherwise the room was fine.
- 2/5
The entry doors are covered with bugs. The bar next-door has loud music.
- 3/5
Place was reasonable. I wasn’t a fan of the surprise pet fee when we checked in. The fact that it was per night instead of a flat rate was odd to me. The deposit for incidentals was outrages too, twice the amount of any other place I’ve stayed, including much nicer places. Overall the motel served its purpose for two nights. It was just a place to stay while we hiked and explored the area. Like I said, there was just the surprises I didn’t like. Oh, also asking for an extra towel wasn’t the easiest process either…
- 5/5
Closest hotel to the train station. Classic motel with a fresh update. Brewpub shares parking lot and is good
- 3/5
Good basic hotel. Disappointed that internet/wifi didn’t work at all. This was part of a business trip and I had to leave the hotel to do work. Otherwise a good clean reasonably priced room
- 5/5
Near downtown area, overall a good place to stay.
- 5/5
I appreciate the flooring! It’s nice not having dirty old carpet. I hope more hotels/motels rip out their old carpet!
- 3/5
Good place but almost impossible for to stand outside, may be change the lights that attract less insects
- 5/5
Comfortable
- 3/5
A lot of bugs outside the door and get inside the room. So disgusting.
- 2/5
No coffee pots in room as advertised. One bed had hair in it, stains and dirt on blankets and stains and hole in bed cover
- 5/5
I very much enjoyed my stay here. I got a great price on it and it was very clean and the bed was very nice. The staff was very friendly as well.
- 3/5
It was good
- 5/5
Passing thru town for the night. Great location, comfortable, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Rooms are upgraded, comfortable and clean.
- 3/5
This hotel is very minimalistic. They are much more expensive than the hotels in neighboring cities, but they charge more because of location. There is not a breakfast or anything special. The beds are hard, and the system needs to be updated. It works for a 1 night stay, if nothing else is close.
- 3/5
It is what it is.
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay. Need to replace the box spring as it rattles and if you kick it out makes a very loud noise!!
- 5/5
Very conveniently located.
- 2/5
Outdoors is completely infested with bugs/gnats that fet into the rooms and are a nuisance. The room was mot really clean or well kept. The beds were comfortable, but have theae metal bases that sound like gongs when you tap them. Overall we will not stay here again.
- 5/5
Very friendly at check in. Rooms were clean and spacious. Felt safe. Only downside was the ice machine was broken.
- 4/5
Comfortable beds, close to downtown, coffee in the morning.
- 3/5
Solid hotel for the budget conscious traveler. Though the hotel itself has seen better days and is a bit worn down, it was quiet, safe and within an hour of Crater Lake. No amenities and the mattresses need replacing, but for the price and location it's worth a look!
- 5/5
Good hotel good location
- 5/5
A nice stay at The Maverick. Friendly and professional people. Thanks!
- 4/5
Traveling home & it was a long day. I booked the motel online. . We also had 2 dogs with us and they accommodated. Price was right! And the Gentleman that checked me in was so kind and very personable.
- 1/5
Someone accessed my room with a card key while I was in the room. The manger gaslighted me telling me there's no way this can happen.
- 5/5
We sometimes want a motel compared to a hotel because of camping great, etc. Ground level. Easy access. Very clean.
- 2/5
Many things wrong here. TV kept resetting which needed manager to fix. Hot water didn't work on sink. And there was no toliet paper.
- 3/5
Very basic, just okay for the price.
- 4/5
The property is convenient and cost effecti
- 5/5
Very clean and affordable for a road trip stop!
- 5/5
It was fine for our needs.
- 4/5
It’s good
- 3/5
The towels we drenched in chemical smell. We had to leave the room open for hrs to try to clear the smell. Apart from that, the room was big. Which was nice
- 4/5
The person who checked me in was very friendly and took the time to explain EVERYTHING about the check-in process.
- 4/5
Check-in was good. The gentleman at the desk was polite. Room was clean and quiet. Good pizza across the street
- 3/5
The ice machine wasn’t working. Looks like it hadn’t worked for a while.
- 4/5
Friendly owner
- 4/5
We were moving our kids out of the dorms, easy place to stay. Park right down the street for the pooches. king sized beds were a huge plus.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
Very basic clean motel in very convenient central area on edge of downtown.
- 2/5
The room was extremely small, but relatively clean. Also, I expected a hair dryer and iron in the room, but they weren't. I was told that you can get a hair dryer on request, and I did finally get one. There was a microwave in the room, but no cups that wouldn't melt in it.
- 5/5
Nice motel, well placed in the center of Klamath Falls. Nice rooms, clean, good showers in the bathroom. For the price this is honestly a really good deal.
- 4/5
Hard to find motel
- 5/5
The Maverick Motel is comfortable and quiet. Friendly staff welcomed me. I’ve stayed before and was happy to return for two nights during a long road trip.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Easy to find, easy to register, quiet and comfortable.
- 4/5
Perfectly fine place to get a night's sleep when on the road and a great value. Appears to be enough free parking out front. Common Block Brewing is right next door - good food and beer.
- 5/5
I'd recommend this place.
- 5/5
Great price and location, good service, comfortable room, super charming lobby filled with murals and plants.
- 2/5
The bathroom looked like it wasn’t cleaned, and the sheets were stained
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly, it was very clean.
- 5/5
Easy stay at a great price!
- 5/5
Nice and cozy
- 5/5
Very cheap and very nice rooms, everything very clean, it has a fridge and microwave, as a suggestion they should sweep the room
- 1/5
Okay for under $60
- 5/5
The check in was easy, the staff is friendly, and helpful.
- 5/5
The staff at the Maverick are very friendly. And ask if you need anything. The maids fluffed our pillows, made sure we had towels and soap.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room. The only minor issue was a small leak at the bathroom faucet that wasn't really a problem, but should probably be fixed.
- 5/5
A perfect budget priced hotel! Our room is renovated, super clean, and very comfortable.
- 5/5
Inexpensive stay that was quiet and relaxing. The bed was comfortable and the heating unit worked well. My room was easy to access and felt safe. The staff was helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Good 👍
- 5/5
It was clean and smelled clean, good shower pressure
- 3/5
The overall condition of the property was average. However, the customer service received, especifically by Rose was unacceptable.
- 5/5
Friendly and quick check in process
- 5/5
It was ok, because I really dislike eating on the bed It would have been better it there was a table and a couple of chairs to sit at
- 1/5
The power went out while we were here, and we were in the dark for a little while, and the neighboring person was fighting with their girlfriend kicking and punching the wall
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful.
- 3/5
The heater took a long time to hear and when it did it got really hot. Didn't get the TV to work.
- 5/5
The rooms are beautiful
- 5/5
Front desk manager was very nice.
- 4/5
Comfortable, inexpensive room, good value. In a quiet part of town, and we'll lit area, which enhances safety. Would stay here again.
- 3/5
I really like staying at the Maverick when I drive through Klamath Falls. I was a little disappointed this time because we're in the middle of winter and there wasn't very many blankets. It was too uncomfortable to have to get up to go and solicit more. So we talked it out but we were a little cold. We had the heater in the room which was okay except for that. It was really loud! I just considered it white noise every time that it would cycle on. But yes it would still wake me briefly. The bed is super comfortable and the pillows were great also. It's always very clean and safe there. So for the money it's ideal but next time I go through I will ask for an additional blanket right away!
- 2/5
Front desk service was unfriendly, curt. Noise from three surrounding rooms was disturbing all night long. No rest.
- 3/5
It's ok if you have no we're to go nice room I liked it
- 5/5
Called for TV service, quick, repair. Check out was, simple and appreciated.
- 5/5
I will stay here whenever i'm in klamath falls
- 5/5
The manager or owner was great courteous clean rooms
- 4/5
This motel was conveniently located, clean and comfortable. Other guests were a little loud and rowdy.
- 4/5
Great stay
- 1/5
Blood stain on bed sheet, mold smell in bathroom, boogers on wall, and soo much more dirtiness to tell. Horrible experience.
- 2/5
Brought my fire stick with me and the tv wouldn’t switch to HTMI. Asked for help at the counter and was met with a very rude lady.. she said they don’t offer services outside the tv.. tp holder was broken. Asked for extra bath towels and was provided with small hand towels.
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable. I like the heat/cool controls in the room. If you are a light sleeper there may be too much noise around you sometimes. Ask about a room away from others .
- 3/5
The Maverick is an old motel and shows wear and tear. They have these weird metal bed surrounds that you bump your feet into and the bed made metallic squeaky sounds but only on my side. But for one night in a small town, it was fine.
- 3/5
Staffs are great and accommodating but when we arrived at the reserved room, we xan smell the bleach which is too strong and unhealthy to the lungs. There's no iron, hair dryer and coffee is served at the office from 7am to 10am. Coffee is not strong enough for me, no decaf or tea.
- 2/5
It's a dive of a motel, but it'll get you through the night for cheap. Staff at the front desk was nice. Had to move from my first room due to an odd smell, but the front desk was accommodating in getting me a different room that was better (which I appreciated). Overall, it's an inexpensive motel, and you'll get what you pay for to get through the night.
- 5/5
Located in the center of Town it was easy access to the public transportation system and Fast food is just 9 Minutes away. Room was clean and very peaceful.
- 5/5
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend.
