I have found that you don't always know what you will get with Best Westerns. This one is pretty decent. We've stayed at this one several times now. The staff are nice and helpful. The only real negative I have about is out of control of the hotel. On Fridays and some on Saturdays. The streets running by the hotel can be quite noisy until about 11 or 11:30pm. People seem to try to see how loud their vehicle can be.

The AC unit was not working properly. The room was average certainly not worth the high price of $181 per night. I would not go back.

I felt safe, and I got good sleep however the person putting breakfast together works like a hurried busy bee it' all seems a little too much getting breakfast ready and running the front desk with one person which is what it looked like. I did like the breakfast. bed felt too soft and I didn't like the bathroom set up If I'd been with a second person i would not have been happy with just one sink. The bathroom and lav need a rearrangement and a better bathroom wtih larger lav for two. breakfast is too large for just one person who's also responsible for the front desk too ... you may get away with it on weekdays but not on weekends !

The staff was helpful and friendly. Good location—We were able to walk to dinner every night. Breakfast was very good—strawberries, scrambled eggs, various breads & rolls, etc. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff provided a good shower seat for my husband. The common areas weren’t too clean (vacuumed)—this is not unusual. Price seemed a little high, but this is the going rate now, apparently.

Prompt check in, breakfast was good first day but second day they were out of half the breakfast items they had the first day. When asked about it, we were told they are always out of stuff on mondays. Seems if they are always out they need to order more to cover them through the weekends. I paid to have a breakfast. Not just a few carb heavy options.

The people who work at this hotel definitely set it apart. The service was fantastic! The lady running the front desk was warm and welcoming and the gal serving breakfast on that Sunday went up and beyond the call of duty. She was interacting with all of the guests eating breakfast and the breakfast was the best free hotel breakfast we have ever had! The service level was really wonderful. The hotel itself is fairly outdated and could have been cleaner but the friendliness of the staff is why we will stay here again!

Liked breakfast, great selection and plentiful. Room was clean and everything worked in the room. Area around property was quiet, parking could be a challenge if it's a busy weekend. Staff was friendly and breakfast staff was kind and very helpful. I liked the 8pm cookies every night. Mexican, Thai, Chinese, and Arby's about a 5 minute walk away. Good drive-thru carwash practically across the street. (comes in handy after driving thru bugagedden) Gym was nice as well.

We stayed here one week ago and given the same room this time. A week ago reported lights were not working, still not working so staff changed our room. Smoke detector chirping in second room so changed to a third room which was fine. Staff was apologetic and helpful but hotel needs maintenance. Will not stay here again.

Great staff excellent choices for breakfast, the pool could be warmer and cleaned(skimmed) more frequently. Liked that there was laundry there but would have liked one more washing machine.

The breakfast is good. The staff is helpful. The decoration in the hotel is good Cons: It looks outdated in the hallway, especially the carpet. There is a mirror towards the bed. The bathroom door blocks the bathtub. The room is close to the street, so it is clear to hear car engine noise when the car passes by, and it is frequent at night.

Hospitable, safe and clean

We enjoyed the exceptional breakfast, but everything about the hotel was a bit tired--from our room air conditioner that just never managed to fully cool things down, to the leaf-covered outdoor pool.

Rates seemed quite high for a Best Western. Hotel is close to dining.

The hotel staff were great. We had some special requests and they really worked with us. The hotel itself was very average. Definitely needed a deep clean. The sheets were clean but the carpet needed some love. There were some homeless sleeping in the parking lot but that whole neighborhood has them.

The backside of the hotel is in an area that seemed a little run down. There was noise off & on all night from the street.

We have stayed here three times. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We have noticed that the area around the hotel has gone downhill over the last 10 years due mainly to homeless people living on the sidewalks. I realize the hotel can’t do anything about that and I actually highly recommend the hotel.

The rooms were fine, breakfast was good, but with the pool being closed and the bums having sex outside the window in the middle of the night, can’t say I’d stay again for the price.

This was a disappointing stay. The staff were nice, but the hotel room needs some serious TLC. The microwave didn't rotate, the main lamp didn't work, the lights that did work all had different colored bulbs, there was an empty pizza box in the dresser that my kid with celiac disease found, the shower was so bad that none of us used it, the carpet was pulling up in multiple places, the curtains had white food stains on them, the carpet was stained in several places, it goes on-and-on. The breakfast was good overall with the most fruit I've ever seen at a free breakfast, although half the fruit was in rough condition. The pool was a nice touch but each time we went there were no towels available like we were told there would be, yet there were several wet towels around the pool. There was another hotel patron cleaning out the pool with a net instead of staff doing it. We also encountered multiple homeless people in the parking lot asking for change. Overall, this place has potential but right now it definitely isn't worth the money they're charging for it.

Clean, didn’t stink when opening the door to the room. Beds were comfy and didn’t kill the back. No loud noises from other guests. Too exhausted to try the pool but saw others using it so I am sure it was nice. There were also free cookies in the lobby, after a long days travel from North Dakota the kids really enjoyed them. Would definitely stay again.

Good nights sleep

I suggest an additional charging station. It’s the reason i chose this motel. And i had to monitor the one charging station so i could use it.

Corridors filthy and covered in debris. Elevators dirty. Breakfast was diabolical, ran out of bacon on both mornings we were there. Only half of the toaster worked. Walmart is up the road from the hotel… go and buy a new one, and a new vacuum cleaner! Miserable staff. Lots of homeless people around rummaging in the bins outside the hotel doors. Ice machine on our floor was not working. We prepaid for our booking but they still charged my card for the full stay. Have now got the money back but it just shows incompetence We stayed here 5 years ago and it was a beautiful hotel with friendly staff so it has badly deteriorated. Managment should be ashamed of themselves Klamath itself is a good location for visiting Crater Lake NP

1st floor room with homeless around did not feel good

Hotel is a little rustic and rundown. While it has the feel of western atmosphere, it is ready for a major face lift. Cleaning service is not up to standard, and facilities and overall condition can use a 20 to 30 year upgrade. Location is noisy. Breakfast is better than my expectations.

My family and I slept for the night on our way home from Portland. It was pleasant stay with a good breakfast option. Good location and easy access. Only down side, the walls are very thin and can hear all kinds of activity happening outside the bedroom.

What a charming hotel the lobby is absolutely warm and inviting. We stayed two nights and enjoyed every second of our stay here, from the staff to the room we were beyond happy with our stay and will stay here next year when we are back for another trip.

The street noise is awful. We particularly asked to have a quiet room that we can sleep, but she put us in the most noisy corner of the street side. Therefore we couldn’t sleep until the midnight when there were no cars drive by.

Breakfast was excellent! They also served milk and cookies at 8pm in the night. The bathroom layout was awkward, sink was outside in the room rather than in the bathroom. It is right next to a McDonalds and Fred Meyer so was very convenient. The Fred Meyer parking lot had Tesla supercharger which is the main reason we stayed here.

This place needs a good deep cleaning and the breakfast staff need training in food safety.

Just what I expected. Great breakfast and super friendly staff. The receptionist was a little short but ok. Walked into Florence, took about 10 mins.

The down sides, the location wasn’t the greatest, it sits on a busy cross street next to a gas station. Klamath Falls isn’t much to talk about, and the hotel sits on the main highway through town. The common areas were not clean, which was odd given the rooms themselves were. When we visited, the pool and hot tub were both unavailable and the Internet was largely not working (dropped out every few minutes). All in all, ok for a quick place to sleep.

When we arrived we were given a room, we just dropped off our stuff and turned on the AC before heading out to dinner. When we came back the AC wouldn’t turn on, so we went to the front and the receptionist as great, she gave us a different room promptly. No issues with AC there. Our entire hall smelled like weed, someone was obviously smoking (even though they are no smoking hotel), being on the first floor you can hear everything! Our second room we needed new comforters because ours were stained/dirty and ripped. The rooms were okay, not horrible, but not the best. And the pool and spa were closed for maintenance. Overall it wasn’t horrible, but not sure we would stay again.

I have stayed here in the past, but find the hotel to be very rundown and not very clean. The hallways and stairs were not vacuumed during any part of my week long stay. There was all kinds of debris, carpet walkways. There was even some food pieces around the face of my bed. The website indicated eco-friendly, however, all cups and glasses were plastic. I will find other accommodations when I return for my work trips. For the price I expected better.

Amazing

We checked in late and my kids, my husband and I were really tired. I know that the frontdesk is just doing her job, but she was so snippy and even arched her brows on us when she confirmed that we were just staying overnight. Klamath Falls has been our pitstop when we do roadtrips from WA to CA. I will never use this hotel anymore, I’d rather stay in Holiday Inn across the road.
