Best value in Klamath Falls! The room was spotless. Bed was comfortable. Microwave, refrigerator, cable, blowdryer, shampoo& conditioner AND to top it off continental breakfast. All for $112! Such a deal!

Located on the north edge 0f town, across from two truck stops, it is not fancy, but completely adequate for a good night's rest. The room was tidy and comfortable, the wi-fi was strong, and you park under a roofed space in front of your room. Breakfast s quite basic, but enough together off to a good start. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if in the area.

The location was great! It was located between The Lava Beds and Crater Lake National Park. The room was very clean. The Internet service was excellent! The TV worked great! The price was unbelievably low. I knew that there was no breakfast included, but it would have been nice if there was coffee available in the morning, but at the low price I was willing to go buy my own coffee.

This is "best-in-class" pricing. Best deal around. Could not complain since price so good.. Room was comfortable and clean, had large walk-in shower, fridge, microwave, large TV. No coffee or hot water pot though. Located right on highway 97.

WHEN I saw the housekeeper she was very kind I had to pay $20 CASH per day for my service dog, I had to go to the ATM 3 days in a row to get this CASH and had to pay all of those fees for using the ATM, I paid for my room with a debit card, what's up with CASH for the dog? When I first got there management said housekeeping would come in once a day, then a couple of days went by and no housekeeper showed up so I stopped the housekeeper and asked what's up she told me that, I was to go to the office, management told me that I had to go to the office to get my own towels, sheets, toilet paper... Management didn't send the housekeeper for 3 weeks!!! I stayed for an entire month, I am totally disabled and had to clean my own room, change my own sheets, take out my own trash, this left me bedridden for days at a time in excruciating pain... There was no phone in the room so I had to go get one from the front desk (management) and when I had to bend over to plug it in it didn't work. I had a VERY BAD experience. I AM TOTALLY DISSATISFIED!!! and if I had the money I would have gone elsewhere within the first couple of days, but I gave all of my money to management with no chance of a refund to go somewhere else.

Value Cleanliness

Motorcycle trip through freezing rain and hail... getting a hot shower with good water pressure was a lifesaver! The room was comfy, and having a covered parking spot was more than I expected. I will definitely stay here again when rolling through town! Don't have anything bad to say. This place is great.

The property is clean and well maintained. It isn’t fancy but provides a traveler with a clean place to rest and relax. The driveway can be difficult to enter from one direction.

The room was impeccably clean, and the staff is the nicest you will ever come across. The check-in process was very easy and everything worked as intended. This is our second time staying here and for a clean, no frills motel it’s our go to.

Breakfast looked unappetizing, didn't have any. Serving area wasn't very clean.

The front desk gave another patron the key to my room, and he walked in on me naked. Most of the guests appear to be long term residents and open drug dealers/users. The room was not a available by the posted check-in time.

I called ahead and asked about parking for a very large U-haul truck and was told there was plenty of room. Ended up parking on the curb in the street. Hardly any parking for our regular car let alone a huge U-haul truck.

This was not a continental breakfast. It was cereal, milk and juice. With one table and two chairs. This should not be advertised as a continental breakfast. We had to go elsewhere for breakfast. Very disappointing. Feel we should be refunded something as we had to buy our breakfast. Expedia should investigate this.

Room was ok but lots of flies outside. motel is dated but relatively comfortable.

You are to turn off everything when leaving the building or else they get you! Also, they expect you to take your trash or else the housekeeper will complain.

It’s right on the highway but the room was much quieter than you would think. For the price it’s a good buy.

Not too bad for an easy stay when you are on the road. A staff knock at my door in the morning for no reason. My dog barked and they apologized and quickly left. It was weird.

Management is doing the best they can with this property. It’s old and well used, but it’s also well maintained. My room was spotless. It also has a huge gravel parking lot, convenient for travelers with small RV’s who need a place to overnight and clean up.

The room had been recently renovated, and was clean. It's set right off the highway and traffic noise could be heard all night. Also, the bed frames are metal and make a horrible sound every time anyone rolls over, so if you need quiet this might not be the place for you.

As the name implies, this motel is very affordable, but extremely basic. I have stayed here three times, and will continue to use it as a place to sleep and shower. They keep it nice and clean. It's right on a highway, so there's lots of road noise.

The room was clean and it is at a convenient location. The staff was helpful. There was no tissue paper and no ice machine.

AC was super loud, room is very basic but you get what you pay for. It definitely felt like a hotel where they don’t wash the comforter between guests. Because of that, I didn’t sleep well. Water pressure in the shower was great. The lady that checked us in was super sweet.

There are limited amenities, no ice machine, no lamps on the bedside tables, skimpy towels. Bring your own pillows, the bed was firm and okay, and there's microwave and mini frig that came in very handy. . So if you want no frills for a cheap price, go for it. Note, we got in late and ate at Harbor House restaurant a few miles away at the golf course because they were open until 9p ... it was a great find and we highly recommend.

Really confortable bed!

I got there past midnight and obviously woke the clerk up. She was very friendly, informative and accommodating . Room was very comfortable and had everything I needed for a short sleep. Very quiet.

Day was 90 rooms were actually fairly cool prior to air condition turned on due to covered spots protecting room from hot heat. Breakfast minimal sweet roll and coffee. Enough to get ome going for the day. Staff all friendly Nice remodeling extremely clean. Recommend

I stayed there twice. The first time was really good. The room was clean. The second time the room was dirty. The waste paper baskets were full, and the bedding was dirty.

Don’t get fooled, there are no breakfasts.Only Coffee, milk, orange juice, cereals. Nothing else. And all was the cheapest of cheapest. Not even bagels or toast.

It is a nice place to sleep, the bed was nice. There was not much for continental breakfast.

Excellent for the price staff is lovely, building is old, area is noisy, on the highway across from truck stops. Air conditioner gave off weird smells. There is an old man living there who is loud and sits outside and smokes but is nice and goes to bed early.

A great place for launching a day trip to Crater Lake, It is close to Highway 97. I use silicon earplugs whenever I sleep away from home, so I got a perfect night's sleep here.

This is a very good place to stay. It's affordable and the room was clean. Easy check-in. We travel often up Hwy 97 and will be staying here again when warranted. Also great shower pressure!

I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of our room. I was a little worried about what the place would be like but it exceeded my expectations. Room was very clean, spacious, and is even fitted out with an almost full size fridge.

As for the continental breakfast, I knew it wasn't a hot breakfast so wasn't expecting that. However, it was a very minimal continental breakfast so don't plan on much. However, for the price it was a good deal.

The dogs only section wasn't shown on the main page. We arrived with a cat and were told no cats but then $75 fee. We left with no refund.

This was the nicest budget motel I have stayed at. Beds in separate rooms, desk with chair, full size fridge, full size microwave, kitchen sinks in the room. Covered parking outside. The only thing that I would change is to have somewhere to put the soap and shampoo stuff in the shower.

The rooms are spic and span. My husband said to tell the lady at the front desk but there was no one there when we checked out. Just a drop box for key cards and a couple of selections of cold cereal and coffee.

Room was really nice and clean for the price. The highway noise was loud. The staff were so kind.

Extremely great value for the night. We only needed a bed, nothing more and for this prive you cannot beat the value. It was slightly noisy as the semis would hit their jake brakes coming into town and the bed was just on a frame no box springs. Didn't see a breakfast or coffee but i got those on the road so no big deal to me. Bathroom was servicable for the short time i was there. Id use them again while traveling when just needing to rest

We enjoyed our stay

I didn't like that there was no light on or over the desk. It was impossible to get anything done on my computer, or write in my journal.

Well laid out room. Very comfortable king size bed. When you walk in, there's a refreshing, light scent throughout the room. Even the towels smell fresh and clean. The shower is a walk-in and the shower head is high enough for a taller person. No coffee maker in the room but a fridge and microwave were. No carpets throughout room, which I'm good with as we have a small dog. They even have clips on the curtains so you can make sure the room stays dark. Breakfast, from 6:30-9:30am, is cereal or little honey buns, coffee (no lids for cups), whole milk and juice in the fridge, powdered creamer and sugar or sweet'n low available, and black tea packets. Only downside is, during the day, there's a lot of traffic. For my husband, this was a bit of an issue but as night fell, traffic slowed down and his noise machine covered the rest. They were having a plumber work in one of the rooms so the water was off when we got there and unfortunately, we were not told of this upon check in. We went out to grab something to eat and by the time we got back, the water was back on.

For the life of me I cannot understand how anyone in their right mind could give this place a rating of 8 out of 10. The rooms smelled like pinesol, I guess that means they were cleaned? The road noise from the highway was almost non stop. The woman at the front desk might as well have been a robot, no personality , no ability to understand customers concerns. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nicely renovated old time roadside motel with covered parking right outside the door. Great location and easy to find!

I was a bit worried when booking the hotel because it was A1 budget inn. The room was really nice. It was clean and had all the amenities you could ask for covered parking right outside your room. The experience was absolutely great. I would recommend to anyone who comes to town.

This is an excellent choice for the budget traveler.

We needed something cheap to take a break from driving at 11:30pm and this fit the bill, the hostess was very nice and Check-in was a breeze. Room was fine, the bed and shower got the job done and we were pleasantly surprised with the size of mini fridge. The curtains had clips to keep them closed all the way and the dark room allowed us to sleep in till 9:30. They offered pre-packaged pastries and juice/coffee in the morning which was a nice surprise. Overall, great bang for your buck, would crash here again.

On the positive side, I did get through the night unscathed. The bed was comfortable but hotel staff not trustworthy IMO. I checked out early and made the mistake of leaving behind my phone charger. I realized this and followed up with a phone call before the official check-out time. I then went back to the motel and they told me there had been no charger left in the room. I know this was NOT true. Retraced my steps fully and the thing is gone. Last place I saw it was plugged in the wall at this very motel. I am convinced motel staff took my adaptive charger. It wasn't a ton of money - but very inconvenient to suddenly be out of a phone charger when travelling and doing a bunch of projects in town. I have been a return customer previously but don't think I will be anymore. I regret that I left a cash tip in advance for the dishonest (cleaning?) staff.

My biggest concern was the lack of ADA usability. The step in and the front door did not appear to be wheelchair friendly (at the main office.) The room we had well clean would not have worked with my wheelchair, bound wife. The distance between the nightstand and the bathroom would've made a very difficult to get her in there. I'd love to see some improvements in that area. The parking lot is basically gravel. Nothing exciting to see.

I was pleasantly surprised! It was very clean and the beds were actually comfortable. Clean and spacious, if you wsnt a good,safe place to sleep, try this place, no carpet which is a huge plus! No gross carpet! Yuck! The name will fool you when it says budget. Its actually great!

Great place to spend the night

I really like this hotel. For the price you pay it went above and beyond. If you want a quiet, peaceful area this is the place. Im really contented. Its a basic hotel.

Very clean, updated interiors, nice complimentary soap products, and easy check-in. Some noise from the busy road but slept perfectly fine. Security cameras throughout, felt comfortable and safe.

Stay one night and in all honesty for the price that it cost for our stay, the room exceeded expectations. The only thing that I wish was not an issue was the slight odor of mildew mustiness was unpleasant, but we eliminated that with air fresheners and what not not a big fan of the super thin 1970s Comforter complete with floral pattern and brown in color but like I said well worth the $63 or whatever it cost for one night.

The motel manager/check-in was friendly and fast. We chose to return to this motel on the return leg of our road trip and received the same results - clean and friendly.

Overall nice place to stay

It exceeded my expectation. The room is surprisingly clean and nice for the price, and the location is so convenient. This is a no-frills motel perfect for people who don't need the extra (that you pay for even if you don't use them) like pool, gym, restaurant, etc. The only downside is road noise and a high pitch humming noise from the AC unit when it was idle. Still, 10/10 in my book! I will sure book again if I come to K Falls again.

Great little budget motel

I’ve stayed here a few times now and it’s one of the nicer budget motels out there. It’s always clean and well stocked.

It was a nice quiet place to stay. Nothing fancy but clean.

The owners have done an excellent job upgrading the property. The rooms have new beds, furniture, fixtures, and come with a microwave and minifridge. The walls, floors, bathrooms and doors have been redone and are kept very clean. And the beds are really comfortable. Parking is easy in front of your room, and the carports over the parking spots are a great idea for guarding against rain and snow. Easy access to US-97 as well, with the large Pilot gasoline station conveniently across the road having some of the lowest prices in town. This place is a hidden gem!

Exceeded my expectations for the price! Comfortable, clean bed and room. Has been updated in a very nice way. I love the large crown molding. Nice tv package. Much to watch. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

I stay here regularly. Always a fair price, clean, & curious. If you just need a place while traveling that’s is far better than par, this is it!!

As the name (and price) suggests, the A-1 Budget Motel's rooms are fairly basic, and a bit small. But they've been nicely refreshed, and very clean. One nice feature: they've added plenty of electrical outlets, something that's often lacking in older facilities. I recommend A-1 Budget Motel.

Super friendly clerk, simple breakfast cereal and juice. All ground floor and covered parking. Just a really good place for the price. With full television selections even.
