Motel 6 Kissimmee, FL - Orlando

There was mold in the first room that I was in and there also was no amenities in the room there was no fridge or microwave along with there being huge dead cockroaches outside my door and my door also didn’t properly lock

I am handicap and I asked for an ADA room and they gave me a room that was not ADA. I reserve two rooms one for myself and one for my guest. Their room was 212 and when we got there at 10 o’clock at night 1020 around there their room was not ready to inhabit. The beds were not made. There was a master room was not cleaned, but yet they gave it to us anyways my ADA room was not it was ADA, but it wasn’t what a welcome shower it was with a bathtub was not able to shower. The beds were too low for me and having one leg and no one to help get up from the low bed in an ADA room was not ideal…!!

PREPAY OR SUFFER!!! I made my reservation weeks in advance. Because I wasn’t sure whether I was actually going on this trip, I selected a property that offered “pay on arrival” option. I checked the Expedia confirmation email to see the conditions of my reservation. All it said was I needed to cancel the reservation 24 hrs before the day. I showed up on the day of my reservation, around 8 PM, only to find out that Motel 6 had canceled it and let my room go, at 6PM that day. Mind you, they had my phone number, they could’ve called. The front desk lady was knowledgeable and indicated those are Motel 6’s conditions for reservations, but they don’t make it on Expedia’s website or confirmation. All of this meant that after my day of travel, I had to scramble and find another hotel, instead of the one I had reserved. Very disappointing.

This hotel is good for the price. The location is excellent. Lot’s to do within walking distance. Dog friendly which is one of the reasons we continue to use it when we are in Orlando. Andera at the front desk is very efficient.

Im pissed i have videos and pictures of bugs crawling on the bed when my son is sleeping bugs all over the walls clogged sink hair everywhere cigarettes burns all over the tub and room was not cleaned right before we went to bed i called the office and wanted a new room with late check out the gave me a new room but no late check put which is absolutely unreasonable due to spending all our time in the dirty room only sleeping and having to check out the new room i need a free stay or my money back my son is disabled and non verbal he coudlnt even tell me he got bit

Ok first off I recommend this hotel Maryann the manager delightful laugh amazing manager I would love to be her employee cause she is the best. Ryan the front desk who checked us in omg super amazing as well also we shared a laugh cause his name is my name too. Also the property is super clean outside and inside. This is an enjoyable stay here. We have just moved here from Colorado and we are in the middle of waiting for the first day of our new job to move into our new apt. I am also letting you all know the pool is super clean and amazing the coffee in the am is great and fresh. Also I can't compliment the staff enough 5 Starz. Also really great price and even the other guest are super friendly staying here. Book book here super close to attractions and Disney world. Also when you stay here you get 20% off using your room key at Denny's. Better then then any other hotel around Kissimmee I promise. Relaxed staff and safe environment. It was conveniently located close to Disney, I-Drive, and Irlo Bronson shops. Upon arrival as we were walking up stairs to the room, my kids and I were approached by an extremely intoxicated female who said “I’m only here to f—-.” who then proceeded to try to offer me help of some sort bc she said “I’ve been there.” (I guess she thought we were escaping a DV situation or something idk.) The shower didn’t work well and had to have someone come show me how to turn it on. No microwave or fridge in room. Air was not cold at all. The kids and I sweated to death. Half of the staff was rude but some of the staff was pleasant.

When I got there they assigned us a room. We get to the room & it’s completely messy. So obviously it wasn’t cleaned. I go back to the office- they sent me to another room. It was “clean” - if that was their definition of it. Room floor wasn’t mopped - I can tell or swept. It smelled like cigarettes. It was very dingy.

The lady that checked us in was beyond amazing. She was such a sweet and caring soul. I would recommend this location because of her and how she cares for people. I was just there this weekend.

For it being a pet friendly hotel, it was quiet and very clean. For our room being “smoke free” our room completely smelt like cigarettes, yet it’s understandable to an extent because obviously others rooms are smoking rooms, even though ours was not it would have been a much better stay if the whole room didn’t smell like cigarettes.

Check in took longer than usual. First room provided was occupied. Ac went out in the middle of the night on first day. Door in bathroom did not close properly it had to be slammed to close shut. Getting ready to walk out the room to check out they had provided another guest to our room before our check out time

For the location, it was a very clean, and safe place to stay. It sits back away from major traffic so the noise level was non-existent. It was very reasonable and the staff was very helpful.

It was good. The AC runs a little low though, slight humidity but clean beds were okay. One thing I didnt like was that there were long hairs stuck to my towels.

Stayed here 1 night for work at Disney. Great budget inn for those who are looking for a good bargain. Get the deluxe room like I did. Clean room, hot water, comfy bed, helpful staff. When I need to stay near Orlando for work again in the future, I'll be staying here.l

Check in was easygoing but had a hard time finding my reservation I made on Expedia under my last name and had to find it by the confirmation number. As for the staff, they were friendly and attentive enough. As for the room, the front door didn’t shut securely and the bathroom was dirty. The air conditioning worked very well and the bedding was comfortable. Everything else was okay.

The water pressure wasn’t the best but again did the job. At one point the pipes were screaming so that was annoying.

Office and maintenance staff did a great job trying to fix issues. We were locked out of our room multiple times. The last time we were locked out even the master key would not work. Took over an hour sitting in my truck for them to get there and had to use crowbar to open door. Offered to move us but my fiance just got off of a 16 hr work day and it was already 11:30 and he had to be up at 5 am to go back so we just stayed in room. House keeping needs to learn English and learn how to clean rooms and be more polite. They were very rude ! I am contacting corporate about all issues

there was two roaches on the floor running around , there was not toilet paper , and there was hair everywhere in the toilet and bathtub. The next room had a dog that was very noisy. The room I reserved was not available when I got there, so I end up sleeping in this nasty room. The AC was working but had a weird smell .

Middle section between the beds was coming off. Hole in bathroom door,. The room was outdated. Gap between the door and the door trim. Took me five minutes to lock the door. It kept getting stuck!

Me and my girls checked in later in the evening maybe 7:00pm. We checked out 30 minutes or less later. The room had a very bad smell to where my little girl almost started crying and saying it gave her an instant headache and then it had a conjoined door in the room that we didn’t know it was going to have and I didn’t feel comfortable with that. We had to just leave. Lost out on money and didn’t get anything back

The only good thing about this hotel was the location compared to WDW and the staff were very nice. ROACHES! ROACHES EVERYWHERE! We only stayed two nights and had to kill at least three every time we came back in the room. The beds had cigarette burns in a non-smoking room. The "neighbors" stood outside until three in the morning talking right outside the windows, although I concede the hotel has little control over what guests do at three in the morning.

I had a serious safety issue when the door to the unit completely malfunctioned and was locked in with no way to communicate with front desk… I had to find a way to unscrew the window to crawl out… when i approached the front desk we were informed that nothing can be done until next morning… at which point the manager saw me crawling in/out window she told me to meet at front office…. The conversation got heated amongst the staff then turned into questioning me… since the room was registered in my boyfriend name who was still at work… they told me I had to leave the premises… NO ONE WOULD AGREE TO CALL ME HIM TO VERIFY… Subsequently they removed our belongings until he arrived to retrieve our belongings… They refused him to speak to a manager…

If you are looking for a convenient location in Kissimmee, and you are not concerned about frills, this property is for you. It is actually quite large, and there are higher end units. So, keep that in mind, as well.

Walls were freshly painted or touched up. Bathtub wasn’t the cleanest it had hair all over the tub. There was even hair in the microwave. A/c halfway worked but smelt awful.fridge didn’t work in a second room we had .over all it’s just a place to sleep .

Broken door latch in the room. Asked to get moved to another room. No extra toilet paper in the nee room. Also broken shower rod and barely any hot water in the shower. The sink didn't have any hot water at all.

The ac didn't work properly. The room was a non smoking room supposedly and it stunk really bad. Ended up leaving the room in the middle of the night because the smell was overpowering and there was a lot of people outside the rooms making a lot of noise and consuming illegal substances.

This establishment is utterly unworth the cost. The quality of life is subpar, the premises are unclean, and the air conditioning system is malfunctioning, necessitating the opening of windows for ventilation. The front desk staff was unable to assist with alternative accommodations or provide a refund.

My room wasn’t clean. The tub was nasty I didn’t even shower in it, I went and complained and was moved to another room that was equally as nasty but this was also had a foul weird smell. 0/10. The door has an inch gap from the door to the wall. People are standing in their door ways with the doors open. The soda machines were empty. The stair well was broke and taped off with yellow tape. Kids running around screaming. The pool was filthy. I did not get 5 min sleep. The person in next room was banging on walls all night, loud music, people in and out. I called front desk. It didn't change anything. Do not stay in this place

It was an okay property. It's close to Disney and not as expensive. There was a situation going on when we arrived with police and an ambulance. The receptionist was not at the front and me and 2 other guests had to wait to be checked in. I ordered a room with a microwave and was told no rooms have a microwave. Don't pay extra for that since they don't have it.

Poked the room at 12:10 am on the 8th and it said “today’s booking” checked to hotel and was refused at 12:30 am as the room reservation was only for that day but after 15:00 check-in! Ask to allow us for clerical internet error to stay bit got refused and had to book another room direct with the hotel. NO REFUND NO NOTHING- good way to treat a loyal client. Shame!

After entering the room, the conditions were unacceptable. The bathroom, microwave, refrigerator, and other surfaces were visibly dirty. Additionally, we saw roaches in the room, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about cleanliness and sanitation. I understand this is a motel, but I have stayed here many times before and have never encountered conditions this poor. The lack of cleanliness and the negative interaction during check-in were extremely disappointing. I strongly urge management to address both the customer service and housekeeping standards at this property to ensure future guests do not have the same experience.

The motel on the other hand needed some work. It looked like the room had under gone a partial refresh recently but the bathroom area was still in major need of help. There was rust on the bathtub and the floor. There were another guests personal items that were left behind. It was also very busy, we arrived at about 1am and there were still a lot of guests out having a good time, so it was a little noisy. Now I understand you get what you pay for, and for one night it's a place to rest your head but would absolutely not recommend for any sort of long term stay.

Strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom vent. We kept all our luggage in the car and slept with the lights on. We asked housekeeping for clean towels and were told there were none. Went to the front desk and they gave us 2 swim towels instead. Stairs were taped off as one of the concrete steps was broken in two. Never again!!!!

When we arrived in the room, there was no front light only the bathroom, light and only one double bed for my husband, his sister and myself to share. We were first placed in a smoking room (which we didn’t book), and while they did move us to a non-smoking room, it wasn’t much better. The biggest issue was the internet — there was basically none. We went to the front desk multiple times and kept getting different stories. Several staff members gave us excuses, but one staff member finally admitted that they have known internet problems on that side of the building and that another side might have working service. We were told to gather our belongings so they could potentially move us. When we came back later that night, they refused to move us. On top of that, our room keys stopped working every single night. Each time we were told it was our fault — that we put the keys next to a phone, etc. On the final night, a staff member admitted the keys had only been programmed for one day at a time. So we were being given incorrect information the entire stay. Between the bad rooms, the smell, no internet, constant key issues, and inconsistent (and sometimes dishonest) communication from staff, this was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. Would not stay here again.

We were first placed in a smoking room (which we didn’t book), and while they did move us to a non-smoking room, it wasn’t much better. The biggest issue was the internet — there was basically none. We went to the front desk multiple times and kept getting different stories. Several staff members gave us excuses, but one staff member finally admitted that they have known internet problems on that side of the building and that another side might have working service. We were told to gather our belongings so they could potentially move us. When we came back later that night, they refused to move us. On top of that, our room keys stopped working every single night. Each time we were told it was our fault — that we put the keys next to a phone, etc. On the final night, a staff member admitted the keys had only been programmed for one day at a time. So we were being given incorrect information the entire stay. I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone. Very dirty, hair everywhere, towels were filthy. I can go on and on and thats just the inside. Outside is very scary. Ppl smoking weed, crack and other things i don't want to mention. Just stay away. The front desk was very friendly

The room was ok. But Expedia lies . I asked for a hotel close to airport. Expedia said it was 5 miles away. It was 26 miles. Expedia said it had coffee maker, fridge and microwave. It had nothing . Said it had a hot tub. So not a bad review for hotel. But bad review for Expedia. Stop telling lies.

I was promised a non-smoking room. They gave me a smoking room. The air conditioning unit was broken they told me to unplug it and reset the breaker! I asked to be moved and they told me they were sold out. I politely asked for a refund so I could take my family to another Hotel at 11:00 p.m. at night. I was told the manager would have to do it in the morning but now they're refusing.

They put us in a room that was clearly smoked in. We got the key walked in the room and left and check out we could not stay here. This is more of an extended stay, as there is no daily service for towels/trash/etc. The lobby ran out of creamer Saturday for the coffee. It's definitely more of a 'bring what you need' establishment. But nothing that would interrupt a trip if you're on a budget. Pet friendly. I didn't bring mine, but saw dog walkers and cats in windows.

This place is bad. I don’t know where the pictures were taken that they are showing but it certainly wasn’t at this location.

I stayed in room 203, there was mold around the faucet in the shower, toothpaste and hair in the sink, stains on the bed sheets and comforters and hair in the wash cloths. Also when checking in there was a guest getting loud with the check in guy about her getting kicked out for some reason and telling me and my daughter not to stay here.

Cleaning the rooms ,the floors are not cleaned each time someone leaves,when we took our shoes of the first day we where there our socks where black , and the blanket i had on my bed had candy or something sticky on it so i feel the blankets and top bed spead dont get washed each time ,and one important thing you should do is put handles in the showers or bathtubs so we can have something to hold on to it is very very slippery in there with nothing to hold on to someone can very easily fall and get hurt i hope you all will listen other then that the room was good

The room was small, towels were clean but very worn, toilet seat was loose, there were ZERO appliances (no mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, etc). Usually saw multiple people loitering outside smoking and doing drugs. Some of the rooms had long term tenants living in them. You definitely don't want to leave any valuables in our vehicle overnight in their parking lot. I was embarrassed having brought my family there and will definitely not return.

I this hotel was terrible. It has roaches, and there are people that live there and they are allowed all in front of the doors letting their kids run around hitting people’s cars. It was a terrible experience. Never will stay there again.

We arrived early and I do thank the staff for allowing an early check-in. While I do believe the room was cleaned it smelled of smoke. Shower curtains and faucets were rusty and moldy. It was obvious some updates were made flooring and decor so perhaps they are in process of updating. The bathroom was horrible.

Yes, staff is good, but there was no heat in my room and the AC barely blew any air. One bed was missing a cover. I’m a maintenance man myself, so I just dealt with the chaos on my own, but I still had to spend money I didn’t have on a portable heater. This really made my stay uncomfortable. This is the 2nd time maintenance has shown it's unprofessional upkeep 😞😞....

The door to the room did not latch unless it was slammed. The bed was uncomfortable and the springs were poking us in the back. The tub was very slippery and we almost fell while showering. The towels smelled like smoke and we had to buiy our own since we did not use the towels provided by the motel. We were not given a printed receipt and when we asked for one we were told that the system was down and they could not print a receipt. We were told this three different days. But they had no problem taking our money, the system worked for that.

We did not like this place at all . We didn’t get much sleep with all the noise from the other people staying there . We paid for the room to have microwave and fridge and didn’t not get that we asked to get a room with one since we paid for that and was told it was all booked so they could not accommodate us . Never got a refund for it either. There were roaches dying all over . Looked like ppl were living there and it was chaos all over . I don’t recommend this place at all. 👎👎

The property needs some renovations.

Room was a connecting room. On the other side of the door was apparently the other rooms toilet because you could hear allll the noises. My room smelled like smoke from the guy next to me chain smoking right outside all day and night. There were some little cockroaches when I first arrived. Room lighting is the brightest white horrible led lights. Lights on headboard were broken so the bright ones were the only option. Walls are anything but soundproof.

Only complaint is really just the very stiff and uncomfortable beds. They felt like springs wrapped in fabric and the stiifest pillows and sheets I ever laid on. Only other issue I had was where I had a late check in from flights being delayed and even though the app said they'd notify everyone involved in my package. The hotel never got word and gave my room away. This caused numerous timeline issues and I feel cheated for paying for a nicer room with a fridge and microwave even though I didn't even get them for 2 days and was put in a room where even the TV didn't work. Not horrible, but I don't see that I would ever stay there again unless it was the last option for a good price.

The air conditioner was very bad and needed cleaning. If you are allergic to dogs and cats, don't book, the room had a heavy smell to it. My eyes itched for nights. The staff did not want to find a way to get me into another room despite my request. They seemed understaff, the same person booking my room also was cleaning rooms. They barely cleaned. I booked another hotel before my stay was over. I had to take allergy medication the whole time. My daughter developed a bad cough. The mattress is disgusting. I found panties and condoms wrapped up in the bedsheets, horrible. It is a place many of the homeless stay. It is not a place you should stay with your family. The police was there every other day for different incidents.

The staff was very nice. The room was very clean. It is an older building but updated. We were stopping for a quick overnight rest. It worked fine. I give it 4 instead of 5 because the materials are good but not great, there is free coffee but no breakfast and the sign to find to motel is not easy to see.

Walked in the room. The floors were dirty. Black mold on the sheets. The worst room I’ve ever been in. Obviously we didn’t stay. Brought the key back right away and drove to Bradenton.

The rooms are very clean. The staff is extremely friendly. Particularly the manager, Ivory, who went above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Also, they are very pet friendly. And they don't charge any pet fees.

I remember when i was young, Motels never felt unsafe. Yes, less fancy then hotels, but we never had to leave in the middle of the of the night, like we have to do now. Many Motels in Kissimmee are like this now. The only good thing i can say about this place is that the people working in reception are very kind and definitely deserve a raise for dealing with the chaos of this place. They are literally risking their lives too by working in that motel.

I had a room booked. I went to check in and was told that they had over booked and since I hadn't paid for it online ahead of time, which wasn't required, there was nothing they could do. So at 1 am I found myself and my family stranded in Kissimmee and they could have cared less. Plus the place felt exceedingly unsafe and uncomfortable. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

The staff was nice but the beds in the room were hard and uncomfortable. I saw a roach in the bathroom and the air conditioner never got really cold and also leaked water all over the floor in the room. We asked to move to a new room but kept getting the run around so just dealt with it. The maintenance did come a clean the air conditioner and it didn't leak the 2nd night but still didn't get very cold.

The room was really small, the door to the room didn’t close properly which was probably causing the air in the room to seep out and not letting the room to cool down. The ac also didn’t work properly when I put it on high it didn’t blast cold air it could use some repairs.

The staff at Motel 6 in Kissimmee went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. You can really tell they care about their guests. Excellent customer service all around—highly recommend!

The check in process was good. Got to the room shut the door and it looked like the door had been kicked in at the bottom. The outside light shined right through. The toilet had streaks in it like from running water. Went to take a shower and there was hair in the shower and I hadn’t even got in. The bed was so so. They didn’t even come in and make the beds or give fresh towels. I know eco friendly but come on. The television oh my, it looked new but Direct tv I believe they have kept freezing and not a storm in sight. Then the roaches, ewes. So I cleaned that. I have stayed at plenty of Motel 6’s and this is by far the worst. Almost forgot the latches on the door for security broken.

Was horrible i got room with bed bugs and bites they wouldn't change room that lead to is not getting along ivory manger was not helpful was rude and i got into car accident they threw husband out i had the debit card and phone and car got impound so he was trapped they still charged him for the day but made him leave our stuff was there they said in a text from dawn that our belonging were in office but we went there and they weren't there and the text is now erase so i list enugu I've been texting and emailing to a added with no reply that your rep gave me so motel 6 days to wait for call from the motel 6 we stayed at but they never call abd corporate isn't getting and were but taking the lost and forgetting about getting compasentated im making q report with BBB and I'm suing with small claims and telling everybody not to go to motel 6 I'm not doing this was an injustices abs made iur stay horrible and kicked us when we were down insread of heling us during a bad time they made it worst and nobody wsbts to help us were in our 60s and this is putying iur geakth at risk stressing iver this i got pictures ive tried to send but no replies

Dirtiest 2 Weeks of my life

Just remember we get what we pay for. But the stink in my room was horrendous. And when I got to bathroom it was worse. Dead bugs and roaches stuck on the wall. I didn’t realize it first time I left my room I have to pull door shut with some strength if not it wouldn’t close. Went to eat and while opening door I just stuck my card in and door pushed open. That’s when I realized the door was bad too. I checked myself out after the first night and went to Holiday Inn next door. Never again will I book a Motel 6 anywhere.

This hotel need to be closed due to roach infestation, I’ve killed 7 roaches during my first night. The sheets are dirty there’s hair everywhere, there’s homeless people around the property walking around.

There were roaches galore-even crawling on the walls during the day. Totally discusting!

The room also has cockroaches,. The bathtub was disgustingly dirty. The linen had stains. I rate this motel minus 100!!!!

Close to restaurants and shopping. Lots of Mary Jane aroma around. Needs some updating. Ok place to get some sleep but I wouldn't do a long stay. The employees were kind.
