The cheapest and lowest quality toiletries you could possibly get. One roll of toilet paper on the holder and one back up for 5 days with 6 people. It was like wiping with a whisper. Bar soap for washing hands was the size of a communion wafer. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash was only good for one person for one day as long as you were quick enough to catch it before it slid through your fingers. One dishwashing pod, one laundry pod and two total trash bags for 5 days. Went to the front desk asking for more and was told they do not provide additional if we run out. However, it clearly states on the Expedia amenities list that toiletries free. They definitely need to clarify only enough for one day. Thank god Target is only a 12 minute walk. The maids started knocking on our door at 8:50am when check out was at 10am. When we answered they said take as long as you need while they circled the front door steps like vultures until 10am. Overall we made of the best it and wish we knew to be better prepared. Hopefully this review will help others.

The Vstays front desk personnel leave a lot to be desired. We needed more towels for 5 guest. The front desk fought me all the way. Then a funny looking spot above the shower head was discover. In close up pictures it WAS NOT a screw, but when questioned about it being a camera, the maintenance personnel painted over it. Then we had a water leak from the AC. Water all over the floor. Marks on the ceiling. What a first day. We were offered compensation for the inconvenience, but it never appeared. Margaritaville cottages are nice, but rent from Margaritaville, not VStays!

Ready to go back same place. I recommend 100%

Great property thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Me and my fiancé got a cottage just for me and him and it was beautiful! It made us feel like we were at home with all the amenities we also cooked a home made meal they had all the pans, plates, etc.. we did have to rewash current stuff there was still food on them from who knows when. Also one of the pillow sheets were really dirty we just removed it. Other than that everything was amazing also we loved the H2O water park! We mostly differently will be back !

Staff were amazing and friendly! I would absolutely stay here again soon! I am already planning my second visit later this year! The shuttle service was so convenient as well.

Be careful booking with Expedia. We thought we were getting 2 queens and 2 kings, with private pool and hot tub. We ended up getting 2 kings, 1 queen, and 2 twins, and a pool only. When we called the front desk we got the same spiel as usual “You booked through a third party so there’s nothing we can do.” The house had 2 balconies with no furniture on them. Cleanliness was 6/10. The resort was great. The cottages are privately owned so I think we just got a below average one. The others seemed to have more amenities.

Our first time renting one of the cottage homes for the week. It was very clean! We also enjoyed have a private pool!

The villa was clean, staff friendly, parking easy, the hot tub looked great. I didn’t have time to use it.

We loved it there the only problem was the H2O waterpark. They should allow families to bring in a small cooler with food. Little kids eat slot and frequently. It’s very expensive to keep buying food for them to eat a little and waste.Then be hungry an hour later. I prefer to bring healthy snacks in then giving processed foods.

Absolutely amazing! The only thing I wish was different was a bit of a later check out.

We just returned from a week at Margaritaville cottages! We had a blast and loved the water park. My only issue is there isn’t much to do if the weather isn’t great. The arcade only has a couple games so if they could extent the arcade to a big one it would be even better! We will definitely be back for another family vacation.

My second trip here and I keep bringing more and more family. Staycation paradise! Loved that we had a house all to our self - still the highlight of the trip each time for me. In house washer, dryer, dishwasher and hair dryer. With target and countless restaurants near by and accessible we needed nothing. I initially thought I got a cottage with a pool but it was a hot tub - which we still were able to throughly enjoy. Will be back!!

Let guests know that this cottage is very far from main entrance. The shuttle is fine but sometimes you wait for 30 minutes.

Hot tub did not work and took 2 days and multiple calls to get it fixed. The grounds were subpar from last time we stayed there, no refreshed landscaping. Usually is very nice but this time felt like a PCB vibe. Probably the last time staying here.

The check in and check out process was super easy. Our unit was nice and had plenty of room but the floor felt dirty when we arrived. Overall it was a good location and close enough to enjoy any of the Disney Parks. We didn’t use the pool or other amenities since our stay was Disney focused.

It was a nice place with a great location for us and we got a really good deal on the place. Being a house, I just wish it had more amenities in the kitchen. You really have to supply everything with the exception of dishes. Coffee maker was broken and I would have to reset the breaker every time to get the dishwasher to work. Overall we were still very happy with the place.

I had a beautiful stay at the cottage, it was pleasant. , Love the location & the H20 waterpark. Beautiful community all & all. The only issue I had was trying to reserve a shuttle to Walt Disney World. The lady at the front desk kept telling me to scan a QR code which I never rcv'd. That part was confusing. We did take the shuttle to the waterpark that was convenient to schedule since it was right around the corner. 10 minute walk from the cottage. I will most definitely stay here again. Thank you.

The gym was excellent, as was the pool area. Plenty of space/loungers at all times. We ate at the hotel restaurant a couple of times and the food was well priced and tasty. A special mention to the lovely chef, who came out to check on us both times. His genuine enthusiasm to please did not go unnoticed. Excellent customer service right there. There were also lots of other great restaurants close by. All fees were included, and check-in/out was quick and easy at the main hotel. The place was very clean and tidy, and very quiet. The cottages are very well equipped, but I’d liked a safe. Apart from that, everything you could have possibly needed. Plenty of parking was available, again included. I liked the location, but it is south, so close to Disney, but at least half an hours drive to Universal.

So many great activities! No need to leave the large campus! Loved the foam party most!

This resort caters to all ages. If you want an adult only experience, this is not it. The resort is family-friendly. Hundreds of sun loungers located around 3 large, but separately gated pools. Many private cabanas for rent. That said, very important info to know: do not call the resort front desk for anything. You need to call the Vstays desk (the number on your Expedia reservation) which has someone at it 24/7. The two desks are literally ten feet apart, but it was very clear that they are 2 separate entities. The main resort desk will not help you or direct you to the Vstays desk, which was odd. The lobby is immense and the Vstays desk is tucked in a corner. The people at the Vstays desk were extremely helpful and accommodating! Would return in a heartbeat. A note to Expedia: although you sent our reservation information, you did not forward the very helpful information that the resort sent to you. We received it the day we returned home. It would have been helpful, but we figured it all out.

The cottage was really nice. Great for large families or multiple families staying together. Vstays was very adamant about bagging and removing trash. However, they fail to provide any trash bags. The door alarm because of the pool is super annoying. You can't leave the doors open and allow a breeze. They do not provide any laundry supplies. So you will need to bring your own detergent and dryer sheets. I can't speak for everyone in our group, but the sheets on our bed were stained and dirty. They do not provide any bedding or maid services. So be prepared to wash sheets when you arrive. There are not enough towels. We ended up washing towels twice during our 1 week stay. No coffee filters. Basically they do not provide many of the things you will need for a week stay or longer. The TP provided us also absolutely terrible. Maybe I just got a cottage that wasn't cleaned or restocked. Just beware.

We stayed in the cottage’s at Margaritaville in Orlando it was wonderful the cottage was very clean the pool was fabulous and the staff was very friendly and helpful I would definitely stay there again

Pool and hot tub were fantastic. Odd there was a coffee machine but no coffee. Kitchen but not even salt and pepper. With a pool I would have appreciated extra towels.

Beautiful resort. Amazing pool area. The family bungalow had everything we could ever need! Spacious rooms and great location. The staff were friendly and helpful, will definitely go back.

When you reserve the vista cottages you are technically on a different portion of the resort. They only provide 2 garbage bags, 2 dishwasher pods and 1 laundry pouch for 1 load. They do not provide any additional even though you are staying so many days. So please pack those. The shuttle system they participate in is an outside company. It’s one of the cheaper ones. The shuttle is used by like 4-5 hotels so some nights it took 2 hours to get back. The shuttle did not have many options for universal. The Disney one had enough pickups. Ranging from 5:30p, 7:30, 9:30. The guy dropped off in the evening at the bottom of the hill unfortunately he drove the evening bus everyday. Definitely harder after a long day at the parks. The valet doesn’t mind picking you up from the bottom so please remember to call them. The valet was so helpful and informative. They gave us the best places to go. The hotel lets the timeshare at the front door so your greated with sales not hellos. The hotel did Not provide an airport shuttle. I still have the place a 4 because my family enjoyed ourselves we just wish we knew these things prior to booking.

Cottage design was nice but appliances (dishwasher needed to be replaced) was wore out and kitchen power on counters did not work. Resort pool staff and area was nice.

First off, Travelocity overbooked the 3 bedroom cottage with 1 king bed 2 queen beds and 1 pull out couch with a private hot tub that I had reserved. So when I arrived they informed me that the room was no longer available and they did not have one with the same amenities nor could they upgrade my stay. Instead, they put me in a 3 bedroom cottage with no hot tub and 3 queen sized beds. They said the best that they could do was offer a $100 refund for the lack of a hot tub. To make matters worse, at 9AM on our second day they called to tell me that maintenance would need to enter the cottage at 10 AM to repair something. They did not offer to reschedule the maintenance or anything. We arrived at 10pm, they had plenty of time to sort all of that out before our arrival or at the very least they could have waited until nobody was staying there. Very loud and obnoxious to have someone coming in and banging on stuff with a hammer when you would like to sleep in during the vacation you already paid so much money for and was already off to a bad start. Then about two hours later another maintenance person came in to work on something else with no warning. Awesome! Such a shame considering that the property was nice, and it was quite expensive. I definitely will not be back. A $100 refund when I was stuck with something that was of much less value than I paid for felt like a slap in the face.

This is the third time that we’ve stayed at this location. The townhouse is always super clean. It’s very spacious and close to everything we like to do around Orlando. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and courteous. We will gladly continue staying here and using Vstays when we travel to Orlando.

I have stayed at Margaritaville the past 4 christmases and the cottages have been great with no issues. This cottage was clean and well kept the only issue is that from day one the hot water was not working. Maintenance came out and was very nice however they could not fix the issue. So there was no hot water for night 1. Night two an outside company came and the guy came Christmas night and said he was lighting something outside. The water eventually got warm but no where near hot or comfortable enough to take a shower. The next morning the water was back to being ice cold and not warm. The maintenance lady came back out and she was very nice and the water got warm but not hot. Point of my email is that the cottage we were given at 2992 salted rim road did not have hot water that was available for us, making the stay uncomfortable because bathing in cold to warm water is not really ideal and it did dampen the stay.

Overall we had a great stay. The cottage we had was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. We did use the hot tub and had some issue but it was fixed the next day. Checking in and out was fast. Me and my family had a wonderful time and and there was so much to do in the resort and out. However the only gripe was the fact that the cottages stay at 75 degrees and cannot be lowered which makes for hot nights when you sleep.

The entire house was in immaculate condition. Perfect for my family of 6. Everyone had their own space, and was extremely comfortable. Clean, convenient,everything you could need when renting a house in Orlando.

we stayed at a cottage.....the couches were dirty.....the pillows were stained and old smelling.....the outdoor furniture was torn and there was absolutely zero shade in the backyard......the hottub did not get hot....the pool was freezing....the toilet paper holders in 3 of the 4 bathrooms fell off the walls.....the towel holders in 2 of the 4 bathrooms fell off the walls....there was hardly any drawer space in the closets.....the dryer had a broken lint holder......this place was run down.....at the end of our stay, i went to the desk at the office and spoke to the MANAGER ....she told me there was nothing she could do for me and i should have come to complain sooner during our stay.....i asked for compensation on this stay or a discount for a future trip and she said, "NO".......there are so many other cottages and villas we can rent from other companies.....like RENTYL.....i will never rent from vstays again.....

Margaritaville cottages are truly an oasis in the Orlando area. Extremely clean, endless amenities, and walkable to restaurants. Will return on my next trip to Florida.

What a wonderful experience!. We loved our little cottage, it was perfect space for us and to have somme friends and family visit. The tickets to the water park was a plus!, not crowded and perfect, definitely work the money!

I paid an extra $1800 on top of booking price of package deal to get 3 bedroom cottage with a pool and jacuzzi. Upon arrival we didn't receive the cottage that was listed with the pool and jacuzzi that we paid an extra $1800 for my Mother's 60th birthday celebration. Expedia and Margaritaville both said there wasn't nothing they could do about it. They said they had no cottages left with a pool.They blaimed each other. Expedia said they only sale the property that Margaritaville lists and they can't help if there are errors in room details or pictures. Margaritaville said expedia didn't specify it was a cottage that included a pool and jacuzzi. It is crazy that they list all the different cottages and prices and what they include when you are booking so I don't understand how neither one of them think they are responsible and play the blaim game. Maybe they do this on purpose to make extra money. After days and hours of fighting with them both over the phone and speaking to multiple people from expedia and Margaritaville. We couldn't just leave and stay somewhere else because the room was nonrefundable and I would of lost more money and had no where to stay over a 4th of July week. Early check in? Forget about it, go with Rentyl they got me in by 12 PM ( twice ) also checkout is at 10 PM. Not worth it through VSTAYS in my opinion. Rentyl got me in early twice in two weeks. Is it a good home yes. But man did the front desk suck.

We staid in the cottages and we did not like that we did not have enough toilet paper for our stay. I now understand that it's a self mananged unit but did not see that coming. It was really frustrating having to have to go to target at the end of a tiring day for TP. The facility should have a connivance store on property. The worst part of the stay was on the last day we had the electricity go out in the bathroom and bedroom with no one available to call for help. We had to pack in the dark with our phone lites, this part was extremely frustrating. I did check the breakers and GFI outlets to re-set but we had no luck with that. The property, the restaurant staff and the complementary shuttle staff was were great. Yes I would return but not to a cottage I will stay in the hotel.

The best accommodation we have stayed in whilst visiting Central Florida. Houses are large, private pool area & jacuzzi was a bonus. Local area is great for morning walks & feels well maintained. Highly recommended.

The cottage was amazing!! It was very clean and smelled brand new! The pool was clean and well maintained. Only downside was that due to keypad entry technical difficulties, we had to enter through the back where the pool was located. Other than that, it was a freat stay and I'd book here again.

We rented a cottage for a week and enjoyed our time there. The cottage was clean orderly and delivered as indicated in description. Check in was easy and staff member at the desk was helpful. Pool area clean, lots of options for drinks and food items. Our cottage was about a 7-8 minute walk to the pool area. We had complimentary passes to nearby water park and enjoyed those days. Easy to get around the area

I did not enjoy my stay at the hose for the time i had to call the office and could never get it was some inconvenience anyone to seevice my washing maxhine.

Front desk worker wasn’t the most friendly but gave us what we needed when we called about the alarm. Maintenance also came to fix one of the broken towel racks while we were out. So overall positive and would stay again.

The cottage was very nice and quaint. Everything was clean and in good condition. The cottage only supplied 4 washcloths and towels for a 10 day stay. We had to constantly do laundry because of this and we would recommend more linens. The Tv did not work with the internet. Maintenance came but could not find the issue. The tv was quite a dissatisfied feature.

We had a fantastic stay at this VSTAY by Margaritaville property! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. We loved the private pool, and the layout was perfect with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a bonus suite for extra space. One of the best parts was that tickets to the H2O waterpark were included—such a fun and unexpected bonus for our family! The location was peaceful yet close to everything we needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Second stay in this property and location was great so close to every thing. Shopping and parks. My only issue was that the dishwasher did not work at all during our stay and it took a couple of days for anyone to come and try and sort it to no avail. I was told owners needed to decide if

Perfect and convenient location for Disney!

Love the ease of getting around and proximity to all things Disney. Came with waterpark tickets, which was a great addition to the local and main pools.

The home was exceptionally clean.

We stayed the weekend and it was over too soon. Would love to come back for a little longer next time.

Fantastic property!

The home was updated, and private pool and patio was amazing. Staff was very helpful. Air conditioner was not working when we checked in on Saturday, needed a new blower that didn't arrive until Tuesday. That wasn't ideal, but was also out of their control, and they did compensate me for the heat. All and all, I would stay here again.

Beautiful and lots to do. Felt like I was at a resort in the Caribbean Stayed in one of the cottages and we loved it. Spacious and had everything we needed. Close to Orlando attractions.

Comfortable and convenient. Shuttle required to get to shopping and waterpark amenities, but they were very assessible. Nice that it overlooked a lake and green space as well!

I loved it! It was my first time in Florida and i wasn't expecting what i got! It was like an apartment and i felt like i was at home with my nieces and daughter. I would definitely book them again.

Great pool facilities

The cottage was amazing- a bit far from the pool but that is expected. The property has plenty of dining options nearby and grocery stores. It would be nice if the property had more dining options or the pool bar served breakfast or stayed open later. We will be returning here.

The shuttle system to pick you up from your property back to the hotel lobby was hit or miss but everything else was perfect.

We stayed in the villas, they were clean and comfortable with all yiu need to cook your own meals. loved the pool area, it was like being at the beach. Check in and check out were stress free. Close shopoing and dining options. We are definitely returning.

We loved everything about our stay at Margaritaville Orlando. Our cottage was absolutely beautiful, the free watwr park tickets were an added bonus but well enjoyed. Selena at the front desk is a gem!! She really made our trip the best ever! She was prompt, polite and courteous. I truly enjoyed dealing with her.

Location is great and rooms were spacious. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom!

The cottage was in a great area and we loved the space it provided. The 1st floor bedroom TV did not work, but we weren't there to watch TV. The downstairs bathroom floor was not clean, so we had to clean it. The rest of the cottage was very clean. We loved having a private pool.

My family's weeklong stay at the cottages at Margaritaville exceeded our expectations. Firstly, the lobby and resort property is gorgeous. Very tropical. Check in was a breeze and everyone was pleasant but beware of some employees trying to push timeshare presentations. Apart from some specks of dust on the corners of baseboards, our cottage was spotless and well decorated. We called ahead to heat the private pool, which was also incredibly clean and apparently free of pesky, eye-irritating chemicals. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. The property has amazing amenities, including a small playground, a spa, stunning pools, promenade with shops and restaurants and a waterpark. It's all extremely walkable. There's a shopping center, which includes a Target and several other popular stores, within a three minute drive. I really can't say enough good things about this place. We were blown away again and again all week long. Go. You won't regret it.

Family of 6 stayed at a 4 bedroom cottage. Everything was clean and well maintained. Lots of options to eat nearby with sunset walk or other restaurants within walking distance. We took advantage of the full kitchen. Super relaxing trip and enjoyed the private pool and hot tub. Wish we had a bbq would have made it easier for more meal options. Main pool and clubhouse also great and all staff was friendly and helpful. We got season passes for island h2o and kids went there for a few hours a day and had a blast. Would definitely recommend a stay here

So the property was clean and updated. However the pool never got heated so we didn’t use it during our stay. The property was limited on towels and toilet paper and a few essentials. We stayed five days there simply wasn’t enough for our duration.

Cottage property and the Margaritaville pools are fantastic!

Rented a cabana and it rained so later when I went to the pool there was nobody there to check me or in or cancel and they sent all the servers home. The line as the lobby check in was 20 deep with one employee. Really need to improve on the service for me to continue coming back.

We loved the location and walk ability to restaurants and shops. We loved the pools! We did not appreciate the minimal towels and toilet paper but we did appreciate the in cottage laundry.

Staff members were professional

The house was great. Not nearly enough towels or hand towels provided. The morning I left a big cockroach ran out from under our bed :(

It was a relaxing stay

Even though the unit is self- sufficient, a kitchen drying towel, a supply of garbage bags, and a supply of dishwashing pods should be provided (only 3 garbage bags and pods were supplied).

This property is very clean and nice! It is within walking distance to the Margarita Resort and all amenities.

The staff in the golf carts need to slow down. And we witness one staff member jumping off the golf cart while it was still in motion and it stopped when it hit the curb.

Bed wasn't made made no staff after midnight had to run and get laundry detergent to was bedding that was dirty didn't get to bed till 3 in the morning talked to front desk they said nothing they can do i booked through expedia so it wasn't property responsibility never had anything or anyone treat us this way on the way for checkout the front of building smelled like urine

The cottages are beautiful, clean, and modern. You ha e access to the entire resort. Sunset walk was a plus with plenty of great restaurants to choose from. Exceptional!
