The property itself was fine same goes for the room but their elevator was down their pool was closed as it didn’t meet requirements according to Florida law the ice machine was down and nothing was said by the managers on duty until it was questioned. But the room was ok, but would’ve liked for these issues to be disclosed as it might make a big difference for someone to book at their property or not.

Stayed one night to be close to the theme parks. Wanted a convenient location not off of I-4, free self-parking and breakfast included. The price was right. Room as expected for this value price point.

So when we got to the room the fridge didn't work and we told the front desk and they came over and check the fridge was fine it wasn't it was literally roon temp. She said she sent someone over to fix it and they never came went to the front desk again and had to convince them to give me a new room with a working fridge. And most things we were gonna do in Orlando are during the night so we slep during the day ...... almost impossible with how often planes and helicopters were flying over and super loud to the point we could feel it in our ears. We didn't even bother staying the second night we booked

The location was close to alot of stuff Mattress need update , also bathroom need some upgrade. But the stay was very nice we stay here more then 8 time since 2008. Everything still look the same... but I stay here again without hesitation...

The picture shown for the lobby are not real. They show a clean and spacious place when they even have a table for breakfast, because the breakfast area is so small that they have tables and chairs also on the walkway outside. The pool shows with chairs and it is on one side of the parking and it does not have even a bench to seat or put a towel. Also for breakfast, go early because latter you may find almost nothing. Pictures don’t really show what the hotel is.

The pros were the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and AC was working good, also the breakfast was fairly good, plus the staff was nice and helpful. The cons: motel style (we never go to motels, but if you like them you’re fine); the room looked very cheaply built and had low budget/quality furniture; floor lamp would not turn on with wall switch but only turn off; the breakfast area was very small and uncomfortable which made it very crowded; the TV had very bad signal or just not working properly and the image looked terrible; the shower head had very low pressure. The location was okay, but there was a lot of traffic to go to Orlando (it was Memorial Day weekend, maybe that’s why). I personally wouldn’t stay in this motel again and wouldn’t recommend it. I would have paid a more for a better real hotel if I could do it again. But if you like motels then it would be a good choice for you. Hopefully this helps. Enjoy!

Literally nothing. Upon entry it looked like a murder shack, the front desk lady was extremely rude, there were at least 3 helicopters going up and down (we only stayed for five minutes before leaving). Our bed sheets were wet and there were small stains on them, the door was not properly sealed to where bugs could join you during your stay free of charge, I went down within 5 minutes of getting my key and knew it wasn’t a place we could stay. My wife felt unsafe the entire duration of being there and the management is terrible, wouldn’t offer us a refund because “the room was clean” even though their highly deceptive pictures of the outside do not paint the story of this place.

This property is okay for a quick stay in the Kissimmee/Disney world area. The rooms are updated but the furniture is kinda laughable, the nightstands look as if they were ordered from temu and aren't wide enough to hold a CPAP machine. The property appears to have been renovated recently, but the owner didn't invest much in the renovations. Overall I'm happy for the room I got at the rate I paid.

Breakfast was fine. It was not as great as other Wyndham hotels we've stayed at. The room was clean with clean bedding and facilities. Pool was closed for renovations it said. The shuttle service was a disappointment as the front clerk started we needed to have booked their one time a day shuttle to Disney 24 hours in advance though we had only arrived to the hotel 12 hours before. Cleaning staff spoke limited English but were friendly. For the price it worked for us.

This place is good if you are looking to stay a few days. Their continental breakfast is good. Im not a heavy eater it was perfect. They had good coffee. The room was clean, and smell clean. The staff were friendly. The place is close to Walmart and other locations. I was not happy the pool was closed. They did offer another location to use for the pool. To me that was an inconvenience. I like the place.

The size of the room. My towels weren't clean, they had folded up inside. There was no overhead lighting, making the room dark. Electrical outlets only half worked. My desk lamp didn't work, which added to the darkness.

Great budget friendly little spot quick to get to Disney!!! Such a great mattress excellent nights sleep, and quick easy breakfast to start your day in the am!!

Our go to Hotel whenever we drive up. Clean, great location. Amazing staff.

They didn’t let us use the perfectly working pool that was open but chain locked shut and wanted us to drive 4 miles down the road for a sister resort. The staff had no idea why it was closed. The ice machine was broken and they wanted us to do the same. Didn’t even bother checking out the breakfast. Came exactly at check out time to kick us out, we were visibly seen taking our stuff to our car.

It’s a two star hotel but it’s been recent refurbished so it’s nice and clean but cheap end tables, poor lighting, and very low shower pressure. It’s fine for a night or two at a cheap price.

Very disappointed by the upkeep or lack there of. This is more of a motel. Despite upgrade it has an old esthetic. Pool is out of order. The room was not up to standard with debris and live and dead bugs on the walls, floors and bed. Requested a cancellation that was give however this experience was disappointing.

It was clean, and very close to the parks! There was a large gap in the door so the light and noise always came through. And there was a helicopter tour company that basically shares the parking lot so it could be loud during the day. Not really a big deal since we were at the parks most days, but just something to be aware of.

Hotel looks recently remodeled but had a lot of issues rolled up together that just made it an unpleasant 4 day stay for me. Biggest was pool was closed/broke and the gentlemen at the counter was very unsympathic. He brushed off customers, told them to go to the other pool Wyndham operated down street but many didnt have cars and it was a 25min walk! Of course the hotel NEVER emailed me prior too so that I could have had the option to change hotels if I desired. I was planning on spending my days at the pool, this was my 4 day reset before I went back home to the 9-5 grind. Other things include the ice machines were broke as well, they sprayed for bugs while I was there so dead bugs started popping up in my room, in the morning I had to wait to shower bc there wasn't enough water pressure for everyone in the hotel, and just weird for me was breakfast was not until 7am...Im used to hotels being 6am or 630am at the lastest (im a morning person). So nothing egregious but with all the issues you'd think they'd offer a discount/comp or even a simple apology but no nothing from the hotel staff. I will say though that despite the dismissive and unsatisfactory service from the hotel staff, the housekeeping staff was extremely helpful and attentive, so kudos to them! Hotel staff do better! Wyndham expect better!

This hotel was fine. It was a convenient location. They let us check in early (with a 40$ fee) since we had arrived hours before check in. There was a 13$/day resort fee that I didn't see when initially booking, but it is possible I just overlooked it. The room itself was interesting. The bottom of the door looked to be cut crookedly allowing about a 2 inch gap for hot air and bugs to come in (we blocked with a towel which worked fine). The bed was comfortable and clean. There was no overhead light so it was hard to see clearly at night without the bathroom light on. The TV had only 6 grainy news channels and no streaming services or phone casting options. The bathroom was very clean. The AC unit was amazing! We were excited to use the outdoor pool (which looked very nice), but upon walking up, we noticed there was a chain on the gate that locked it making it inaccessible to guests. The breakfast was very disappointing. The waffle maker was rusty, handles were loose and it didn't cook the waffles all the way thru; the syrup was in an unmarked clear bottle sitting on top of the batter container (which I didn't like not knowing what type of syrup it was). They did have eggs and protein options that were good, and they had a couple cereal options, but overall, most everything was unlabeled which is a little sketchy. The staff member that checked us in was kind and helpful. Overall, if you don't plan on staying in the hotel much, this is a good affordable option.

Also it took quite an while for the front desk to show up to check in and no one was there when to check out. Room was ok. the shower curtain rod was very rusted and the AC made dripping sounds but it worked for the night.

Staff was courteous and very helpful. Check-in/check-out was super easy and fast. Location was great—near major theme parks, shopping, yummy restaurants, and World Food Trucks! We really enjoyed our stay. I enjoyed the free breakfast. They had eggs, potatoes, sausages, waffles, various bread/pastries, juice, and coffee. It was yummy and gave us a great start to our day.

The room was disgusting. There was dirt on the floor. The sheets were dirty. It smelled like cigarettes in the room. The staff gave us a room change and the floor was dirty. Again we couldn’t even stay the night. We gave the night to the people saying already because they have no cancellation policy they make you stay the night and it’s gross. I don’t know what the breakfast is like. I left as soon as I got there and the parking is free that’s the only good thing.

The pool was not operational and the website said nothing regarding this. Also the was no ice machine working, we had to go offsite and purchase ice several times.

I was charged $14 for amenities, Internet, business center, breakfast, parking (which website said was free), and transport to Disney parks. I wasn't too about fee when I booked the room, and I didn't use any of the amenities, since I got there in the evening and left at 5:00 a.m. I did park, but since website said that was FREE, I didn't expect to have to pay for that service. In addition, our kleenex box was empty, our fridge at the coldest setting barely keep our food chilled ( our freezer pack melted overnight in the freezer section of the fridge), our toilet was very slow running and needed to be jiggled to get it to fill in order to flush it again. The hotel, however, was VERY clean.

Great location, close to everything. Rooms had a nice setup. Despite the rooms nice setup, they weren’t very clean (they had a lingering musty smell). There was also a lot of repair issues/the rooms are due for a lot of maintenance. The pool was closed for the foreseeable future (something that wasn’t in the listing. The listing said they had a pool as an amenity) so we had to drive to their other property.

Like...lighting. The room was so dark, with 1 tiny desk lamp that barely sufficed as a night light. I honestly just had to open the blinds and not care who could see in the room, just so I could get some light to see what I was doing. Just having an outlet near the bed or nightstand would have also been hugely helpful. 2nd/3rd floor rooms are walk up access only, no elevators I was aware of. If you're just looking to crash for a couple nights while you hit the parks, it's fine. If you need anything more than that, pay a little extra and upgrade to a location with another star.

Highlight of our stay here was the breakfast. The sausage, eggs, hashbrowns were consistently good, so we looked forward to stuffing our faces every morning. Location is very good, seems central to most of the important tourist spots, and the room was clean when we arrived. Minus points for the pool being closed, poor soundproofing and the hotel being located close to a helipad that operates all hours (though this last thing bothered us less than anticipated). If we were to visit Orlando again, particularly Disney or Universal, I wouldn't be opposed to staying here again.

Called to see if I could do an early check in, was told they offered early check in, but then wasn’t allowed that particular day, so I sat around elsewhere for 2 hours. Door seemed unsecured, there was too much give/pull, lots of big spacing at the bottom of the door for rodents or anything also to come in. Also spacing on the side where the door closes. Only one ice machine for 3 floors of rooms and it’s located on 2nd floor. Went to ask about ice and water and was told, The ice machine needs to be repaired and there was water for $4.50 in their snack bar. Then was informed there was a 7-eleven nearby, but I was on foot/no car and it was 11pm. There was a roach in my room, not sure if that’s normal in Florida, the toilet paper holder wasn’t secured to the wall, so the roll would fall in the trash. So I just put the roll on the bath tub. One of the lamps didn’t work and the Tv wouldn’t come on. Someone came to the room and it was the batteries for the remote, but my light complaint was ignored. Having no idea about the are and my first time to Florida, it’s was a bad decision. Breakfast was decent though. I would never stay here again!

The room and the bathroom were clean. Could use bigger drawers for clothes. The staff was great especially with my child. Breakfast was good. They ran out of things quickly, they only have 1 waffle iron and people were waiting in line like they were at Disney waiting for a ride. The food area was smaller than a New York studio apartment trying to feed a penthouse party. Parking was plentiful and i felt safe with it being there.

The room was fairly clean. Floor was somewhat dirty. Bed very comfortable. The staff was good but one of the front desk person seemed to have some difficulty understanding the issue with the clock I brought down since it didn’t work. The breakfast was basic but the eggs were tasteless and hard. The pastries ran out and didn’t get restocked. The door(2nd egress for the breakfast are was locked(illegal in most states). Pool not working even though I called before making the reservation and was told it was working. People with children be careful because gate to pool had no lock and the latch was broken. The walkway was well lit but poorly lit at elevator. Fine for a one night but don’t recommend for longer.

I stayed in room 107 and the bottom of the door has a gap so that you could see outside. The room and a musty odor no matter how much Lysol I spray. I didn’t complain to the front desk because I do have an active 6yr old and I prefer a room downstairs so that he didn’t disturb any of the guests. The fridge was crappy and barely kept anything cold so I had to continue to get ice. And ice machine was at the end of the building on the second floor which is kind of scary when you are just traveling by yourself and you are a lady. The air conditioning sounds horrible! It sounds like someone is dragging something across the ground while it is on and barely blew cold air, but it still made the room manageable. The shower had low pressure. But tub was clean and really deep so majority of the stay I took a bath. And I hate it didn’t have a laundry facility. You have to drive to another location just to wash your clothes. Now here is the positive side and the reason I gave it two stars because the staff was beyond helpful and nice. And the location was AWESOME!!! It’s close to LITERALLY EVERYTHING!! I didn’t try the breakfast and parking was very convenient as well because it was right in front of the room

The room was clean. Certain things were updated like the bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. Two things I think they can improve on are: First, we had space under our outside door and around it instead of the door fitting snuggly into the frame - light came through and I'm sure sound could and it was big enough for small critters to go through. Second, the breakfast weas out of items and those items were never restocked even though we came part way through the breakfast time. Finally, people should be aware that there are helicopters right beside the hotel taking off - we didn't hear them while sleeping but they were flying in the evening. The price point was great and so I should have expected the quality of the hotel to be what it was but was taken back by it since it's a Howard Johnson property.

There was a hidden cost of $14 per day; the personnel were not friendly. We got locked out 3 times. In one of these, we waited for 40 minutes for someone from maintanence to fix it. The breakfast area was too small and did not have breakfast at all. I don’t believe the ratings for this hotel.

This is definitely get what you pay for. We have stayed at a few inexpensive Kississmee hotels and had better luck with the independent not branded hotels. Hotel tvs do not work (had two rooms). Floors are dirty and not swept or mopped when we arrived or when housekeeping came in. Lock on door cracked and huge gaps between the door and frame.

Be mindful that this property is very slow in returning your deposit, so make sure to monitor that closely. Follow up if needed. There is public transportation at walk distance you can consider taking to also go to the airport. Takes some time, but it’s also only 2$.

The room was very clean and accommodating. We did lose TV reception a couple of times due to the storms but nothing too bad. Staff was very friendly. We got down to breakfast at 9:30 and they were pretty much out of everything. The nice lady working noticed we were a bit upset and told us to give her a minute. Within 10Mins everything was filled back up. Eggs, sausage, home fries, Danishes, Bread for toast and oatmeal. We were happy campers. For the price you can't beat it

Check-in was straightforward, though I later realized online check-in may have been available and I simply missed it. Front desk staff was indifferent to us. Couldn't provide extra blankets because housekeeping was gone? There was wifi and cable television. The room itself was clean, which we appreciated. One small issue was that the privacy shade on the window didn’t fully lower, which made it a little difficult to block the view from outside. We ended up improvising a cover for the night with pillows and towels when front desk didnt answer the phone. Our ground-floor room was located close to the stairwell, so there was some noise from people using the stairs. If you’re sensitive to noise, it might be worth requesting a room farther from the stair area. We didn’t end up trying the breakfast, but the pool looked clean when we passed by. Checkout was very convenient and handled via text message, which made leaving quick and easy. Overall, this hotel served its purpose for a short, budget-friendly stay in a convenient location.

During my first stay, the elevator was broken and my $100 security deposit was never refunded. I emailed the hotel about it and never received a response. The second time was much worse. I arrived after 11 PM with my family, on my birthday, and was told the hotel was fully booked despite my confirmed reservation. We were left to find another hotel on our own late at night. Hotels.com later issued a refund, after I ask them. The lack of communication and failure to honor a confirmed reservation made this a very frustrating experience.

Room looked almost brand new. Must have been recently remodeled. The bed was soft and pillows were fluffy. Immaculate bedding. The bathroom was well maintained and cleaned. Housekeeping staff was very friendly. Check in and check out was it perfect experience

It was cheap but it fulfilled it's purpose. Was relatively safe. Walls were paper thin. None of the reviews mentioned that there is a helicopter experience ride next to the hotel. Helicopters were not very frequent, just enough to be of concern noise wise.

We’ve stayed here a handful of times as we go to the theme parks in the area. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the area has always proven safe for us, and the breakfast although not the best looking is good for what it is and saves money by not buying breakfast in the parks. This time we were in a room and there were people fighting all night long (the walls are soooo thin there) and after a long day of being at the park, ready to pass out to get up and do it another day you need your sleep.

They charge you a service fee on top of charging you for the hotel, but their only waffle machine does not work, the space to eat is very small most people end up taking their food to their room. The pool is out of aervice but still charge you a service fee. No elevators in this place. Roaches on property. Pay a little more and get a better hotel. They do not clean your room unlesss you ask.

Room was clean, not a bad stay. There was limited parking, and I had to park quite as way from the room. I can't comment in the breakfast since I couldn't get through the line. People were standing in front of the waffle irons instead if stepping out of the way so other people can grab other items. Management needs to address this by asking people to step aside while they are waiting.

First room I had, it was getting worked on. Something was wrong with the toilet. I was given another room after asking. Only thing I don’t like about the room is the large space between the door and the floor. I had this same issue on a previous visit. The beds and pillows are soft. Breakfast as ok. Food wasn’t as hot as it should’ve been but it could’ve been the first not closing containers properly.

Great place for a night

Check in and check out were both quick and efficient, and our room was clean with very comfortable beds and pillows. However, there was a very large gap under our door, at least an inch. I could easily fit my entire hand through it and a wide variety of things could have crawled in with us overnight. Actually shocking that we saw zero bugs while in there, considering that. We stuffed a towel into the gap, but that is not ideal. We were looking forward to our breakfast in the AM, but had to skip it and leave due to the fact that it was in a tiny room with a huge crowd of people and nowhere to sit or even move around. It was quite claustrophobic in there, to say the least!

Toilet was clogged and didn’t flush until it was resolved >24 hours later. Breakfast was lacking in protein options. Same sausages and eggs served the whole week we were there. Wouldn’t mind it if they didn’t charge a “resort fee” to include breakfast. Rather have spent that money elsewhere for breakfast. One positive is getting beds made and room cleaned every three days. Close enough to Disney and that’s the main reason we booked this hotel/motel. Probably wouldn’t come back here unless prices are significantly lower compared to other places in the area.

Didn’t experience any loud noise. Room was ok for short time we were there. Two of the outlets didn’t work, water pressure wasn’t great. My friend got charged $100.40 when he bought two drinks from the lobby. Spoke with a Manager and they refunded all but the $8 for the drinks. Please make sure to check your bank statements. I’m still waiting for my invoice.

Discovered that our mini fridge was not cooling after already buying food. I went to call the front desk, but the room phone didn’t work. So I had to walk down to the office late at night. Asked the front office staff if they could send somebody to resolve the issue. She said there was nothing she could do until morning. This was after I had already explained that I had food sitting in that fridge as we spoke. We temporarily put some ice bags in the fridge to help. The next morning we went to go leave to the parks, found out the only elevator was out of order. This is extremely inconvenient with a 3 year old and 8 month old. Had to carry the stroller and babies down by hand. This caused me a lot of pain as I have some pre existing injuries. Came back from the parks that day and discovered that nobody did anything with the fridge. Our food was spoiled. Possibly the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had.

Also, the front desk staff seemed to have little knowledge of what was around the hotel. For your information: CiCi's pizza was on the same block and a quick walk from hotel and you can see the high Magic Kingdom fireworks from the third floor in certain places. Not a lot but it may be fun for children to search for.

A hotel for the ghetto and will never be returning back to this hotel again! Avoid this place like the plague.

The room wasn’t that clean, showed on website a beautiful pool, yet upon arrival the pool was functioning & closed. I have nerve damage (neuropathy) in my legs & was told elevator was in working order due to us being on 3rd floor, but upon arrival that was false & I had to walk up three flights of cement steps. This is a hotel that’s very very misleading & nobody working could hardly speak English or understand, it’s Howard Johnson on website, yet once you enter building, it clearly says Developer Inn. Please be very very careful when considering booking this hotel.

Wonderful. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The bed is spectacular—I really want to highlight this because it’s more comfortable than the one I have at home. They came every day to change the bed linens. The location is perfect: 10 minutes from Disney Springs and 3 minutes from Walmart. Very quiet place. I highly recommend this place. And for sure, if I come back I will book this hotel again,

The room was clean, the staff was friendly. The hot breakfast wasn’t so hot, and the TV picture wasn’t great, but it was a great value and a comfortable sleep.

Overall good for the cost. Only having ten channels with nothing for kids and no option for streaming is kind of disappointing. Having to request a do not disturb door hanger from the front desk everyday was a new experience. Breakfast was simple but it worked. It’s definitely a lot older and not as clean as the pictures make it seem. Elevator out of order, the night staff said that’s just how things go there.

The bathrooms were filthy. All the towels had pubic hair. Ice machine didn’t work. Hair dryer didn’t work and fought me on replacing with a new one. Business center printer didn’t work. Extremely small space and doesn’t not look like online pictures at all. Housekeeping didn’t come. Had to empty our own trash each time. Breakfast was not good and the breakfast room is so small you are tripling over everyone. Elevator didn’t work. Wouldn’t answer phone went down immediately and front desk was watching YouTube videos on her phone and continued to ignore me. Advertises transports to parks but doesn’t actually have transports to parks. Somewhat affordable but still 25 minutes from parks and pretty sketchy. Basic amenities that were “offered” were not available and no accommodations were made. Locked us out of our room. All in all it was a very bad experience and I wouldn’t stay here again. One Star is too many stars.

Went and checked in had to pay the resort fee, very shady hotel. Going into the hotel there was 2 couple hanging around the stairs with a pitbull and it's puppies. They all came running at us. They were friendly but it's concerning. These people were living 2 rooms down from me appear permanently with all these dogs inside cages in the room. Went to our floor from the staircase to find a lady "working" in lingerie on the bed with the door open. I complained to Expedia who the booking was through about the stay and the hotel management wouldn't return their call right away. Finally emailed and said they didn't charge me resort fees for compensation which they charged me for at check-in. Terrible experience, the overbooking seems to be an issue at this location so they can send you down the road to their less desirable property. I will not stay here again.

I checked in at 730p and told that no king rooms were available, but I booked a month in advance. Given two double beds instead. The water pressure and quality was poor at best. The doors all had gaps in them (from the outside) and seemed unkept. The grounds had a mattress outside that was awaiting trash and looked like the homeless community had been running rampant. The breakfast was crowded, oily, and not really bountiful compared to others in the area. The staff was rude and not helpful when I brought up these concerns.

Due to "overbooking", HoJo's sent me to Baymont down the street. Turned out to be closer to two restaurants I wanted to visit, so it worked out just fine!

Everyone was very kind. We had a week long stay, with two room. Rooms were cleaned every other day. Downfall to our trip was the elevators weren’t working and we hauled up 5 luggage pieces up to the third floor. There was opera music playing from, I assume, the 7-Eleven for the first 3-4 nights we stayed there. Very loud, can hear in the complete quiet in the night and early hours. A little disappointed that despite having put in the notes that we wanted the rooms next to each other, or as close as possible, it was not done. Having the breakfast included in our stay was amazing and helped cut with costs. Literally 15-20 minutes from the Disney parks and resorts. Very few food options within walking distance.

Shuttle included… Yes but leaves late so you lose 2 hours at the park… cones back early you miss another hour including the fireworks at magic kingdom. Food doesnt get refilled at an acceptable ratio + no place to sit and eat all 8 days I was there.

The rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures, clean and comfortable. The hotel is very clear about its cleaning policies and towel and linen changes, which we really appreciated. Overall, our experience was very positive. As a suggestion for improvement, breakfast could be better organized. Since the hotel tends to be very busy, some items like yogurt and bread would run out quickly. They were replenished, but sometimes with a bit of delay. Also, the line to make waffles could get quite long. That said, this is a highly recommended hotel if you are looking for a great location, good value for money, and a comfortable place to stay in Orlando.

Hotel has a great location and front desk staff is helpful. Rooms are clean and include a safe. There is an iron and ironing board. TV has limited channels. Some items like shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were not always available. If your room is on the second or third floor then you have to carry your bags up the stairs as there is no elevator. Rooms need a little better lighting and one additional floor lamp will fix this. Breakfast is good and includes eggs, roasted potatoes, waffles (make your own using batter), coffee/tea, cereal, oatmeal (sometimes), cupcakes and juices. Breakfast area is small and can get crowded. There is a lot of free parking (parking tag needed)

I had to book this reservation last minute. Felt like I was overcharged for what I received. The elevator at this location doesn’t work. Had to carry six pieces of luggage up two flights of stairs to the third floor. The location is noisy, right next to a helicopter launching area and there is classical/opera singing blasting 24/7 from a speaker somewhere, not sure why. Was only able to use the luggage cart when I checked in because the man working the front desk was nice enough to pull it out of the storage room for me. Rooms were clean but gave off a Motel 6 vibe with cheap/ikea like MDF furniture. Walls are super thin. They put me in a room with an adjoining door even though the party on the other side of the door was not traveling with me. I could hear them talking, the baby crying, and their TV through the walls. The breakfast was disappointing. The breakfast potatoes had a body odor after taste. I had to spit them out. I like that they had a waffle iron but waffle iron looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time which made me think that the waffle mix dispenser also hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The orange juice tasted diluted and as if the machine hadn’t been cleaned in awhile as well because it had a strange after taste. This hotel also uses styrofoam cups and plates which aren't environmentally friendly. I'm also giving a low rating for environmental impact of the styrofoam.

Rooms clean but for three people. Get two wash cloths every other day. Next breakfast was so crowded you could not move and food ran out. Waffle machine was mostly used holding up line. No place to sit. And the worst was music playing 24/7 from store next to hotel. It was some music that sounded like who knows what. Some other language so bad we checked out early. Watch out for gators in pond. Don’t stay there. Elevator out also. We are crippled. Had to walk stairs.

The elevator was broken and I have bad knees cannot walk up to the third floor. Bed was comfortable, but shower head had the worst amount of pressure. (Hand sink had too much pressure and splashed all over the wall and floor) Breakfast was good, however the girl working needed help. It was extremely busy at 9 am and tables were dirty, garbage was overflowing, ran out of all pastries and eggs. Recommend to place the waffle maker in a different area to free up space because the line congested the small area to get your hot breakfast and drinks. The three workers sitting upfront talking should've helped the lady working the food because it's definitely too busy to just have one person trying to keep up with it all while other employees were just hanging out talking

The only issues I had were that the room was not very clean, there were splatters of unknown substances on the wall behind the sink and around the toilet. Biggest problem was the black mold in the shower. The breakfast wasn’t bad, just very tight space and minimal options. Overall, the hotel is in a good area and no issues with the staff. There is a resort fee because there is a pool, even if you don’t use it.

The room had no hot water and if it did you would have to run the shower for almost 30 min before you want to shower. There was a lot a discolored wall and cracks. The shower head also has absolutely no pressure what so ever it drips. The staff was not helpful in any way. Also the shuttles only go to 2 parks and they are not early they are later in the day. So we had to uber to every park which cost a lot of money. Ended up having to move to another hotel because the staff was not helpful with the hot water issue.

They charge a resort fee, which is buried in the fine print on Expedia and called a service fee. Let me tell you - this place is a motel with motel amenities. It is no resort. The only thing covered in the resort fee that I used was the parking, which they called "complimentary." Well, it isn't complimentary if they charge you a resort fee for it. The shower head did not work - water barely trickled out. The door had a gaping gap about a half-inch all around, plenty of room for nearly any bug to get through. Checkout is at 11 and at 10:50 a fellow was already knocking at the door (which had the do-not-disturb placard hanging) to run me out of the room. There are much better hotels in the area for about the same price, so do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Sink water was absolutely disgusting, you could smell it! Breakfast has eggs (oily), waffles, potatoes (dry) and sausage and seating could only hold 10-15 people (already sitting) while there was a line of about 20 people to get breakfast. No elevators, if you have big bags you have to walk up to 3rd. Location feels in the middle of nowhere. Would not recommend at all.

The hotel is about a 30min drive to Universal Studios. There is a nearby Walmart and numerous food options. If you’re going to be at the parks everyday, this would be your best option for sleeping. The employees were very polite and professional. They serve breakfast in the morning, however, the dining area is a bit small so it’s quite a challenge to eat. Overall, great place to stay.

Con: The hotel rooms are lack luster, differing from their online photos. We saw paint chips and peeling in the ceiling and on the walls. There is light peering around the hotel door which we noticed with the lights off. Also the main door and the bathroom door are not aligned correctily, so you have to push and pull firmer on the doors. Hotel rooms are cleaned every other day instead on a daily basis. The TV image is watchable, but during certain random times, the image becomes a little statically. I am not sure if it is their cable reception or just the tv itself. Lastly, the bathroom itself needed maintenance. There is no shower mat, so you have to brace yourself while showering. There is no interior shower curtain to keep the water in the shower (although the exterior curtain had magnets to keep itself to the shower tub). The toilet tissue holder is lop-sided and the toilet roll can slide off when getting a certain amount. The toilet seat was not fully secured to the toilet bowl. There were little black spots in the grouting. The shower head has water spots that hasn't been cleaned in our entire 3 night stay. All-in-all, this Howard Johnson Hotel by Wyndham in Kissimee looks like a remodeled motel. So, take this into consideration before booking.

Insanely dirty ( I have pics to prove) so we left the hotel. The workers were very nice and I got a refund. However when my sister went to check in for her room, they sold her room out. It was a combo flight, hotel and car rental via Expedia and they told my sister bc it was through a 3rd party, it was not guaranteed so they gave her room away. She arrived at 2am with no where to go. Thank god we were able to squeeze her in our new hotel room for the night. When she contacted Expedia, the hotel told Expedia that my sister was a no show..ha! She ended up getting her money back but man what a hassle. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

If you will be spending your days at attractions, you get good sleep, good breakfast, and a great price. They do economize on maintenance and housekeeping.

I booked a two night stay here. I Was not happy about my stay here. Pictures make the motel/hotel look good, but upon checking in I realized that the motel is right next to helicopter park. I could not sleep because helicopters noise coming and going throughout the night. Then, trying to sleep I felt roaches crawling on me. I was not happy, next morning I had to check out early I could not stay there another night there. I requested a refund for extra night I paid for which Expedia refunded immediately. The hotel took 8 whole days to refund back my deposit of $150 and resort fee of $28 charged to my card. I’m not sure why they charge so much since motel was below par and also had the nerve to charge resort fee, what a joke! The manger was not pleasant and was very rude when I called to request refund of deposit I would NOT recommend anyone to stay here nor would I stay here again.

My issue was that we had small roaches in the room and the water pressure on the shower head should be stronger.

I am absolutely disappointed and disgusted with this place. My best friend and I came for the weekend to visit Disney. This hotel has roaches! We found two in our room. We also had to deal with a lizard getting into our room in the middle of the night. Between having to freak out first with the lizard and we were told that we had to get rid of it ourselves, shortly after we saw two roaches crawling in our rooms. No one should have to experience this especially at 2am. We asked to be moved to a different room however it did not put us at ease. Especially to try and go to sleep. Management was dismissive in just refunding our late check out fee for the inconvenience. This place is unsanitary and gross. DO NOT GO HERE. It’s not worth it and the free breakfast was undercooked and gross.

Our room had a few issues, toilet broken, clogged shower drain and found clothes from the past guest. Breakfast was so crowded and in a super small area. Staff was nice but don’t think I would stay again.

There were roaches everywhere and they charged me more than what was my final total on my reservation through the app. They washed the walkways and pushed the water out to the parking lot where it landed on my vehicle. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Don’t waste your money here.

Note that this is not Howard Johnson but goes but is just using their name as a franchise. The hotel is called Developer’s Inn. Also there is a $14 plus tax resort fee per day that is being charged. They claim it’s for the free breakfast, free WiFi, and free parking but how can they be considered free if you charge a resort fee and this is a motel and not a resort. The fee is not disclosed on Expedia and after bringing to Expedia’s and the hotel’s attention, it still hasn’t been updated which I think is a very deceiving practice. I was also charged for “damaged linen” and I am 100% certain it was not caused by me. How on earth can I cause blue dye when nothing I had including my luggage was blue. I am still working on getting a full refund back. If you don’t want to have to deal with this, you should think twice before booking this hotel.

The breakfast is shameful. The coffee tastes like vanilla, extremely unpleasant. None of the food items are labeled, so we had no idea what we were eating. There was no butter or cream cheese for the bread. Out of the five mornings we stayed, we only went to breakfast on the first day and never returned. It is disgraceful to claim you offer breakfast and then serve something of such poor quality, not to mention the breakfast area is far too small for the number of guests. From the day I made the reservation, I requested a crib for the room. The hotel contacted me several times asking if I had any requests, and I repeatedly mentioned the crib. A few days before check-in, I even received a message confirming that the crib would be in the room and everything would be ready. Upon arrival, the receptionist seemed unwilling to help—tired and unmotivated. When I asked about the crib, she said I would have to take it to the room myself. She handed it to us and told us our room was on the third floor because the second floor “wasn’t working,” and that we would have to use the stairs, as there is no elevator (even though there are signs indicating one). The next day, I saw guests staying on the second floor.

I had a reservation, but when I arrived to check in I was informed there were no rooms available. worst experience ever. Also, the place looked like a dump from the outside and lobby area.

En cuanto a la comida el desayuno es uno completo: Huevo, Pan, Algunos Cakes, Waffles, Juice, Cereales, Papas tipo Hash brown, Sausage, Café, Jogurt. El hotel tiene Excelente úbicación, cerquita de tiendas, restaurant and Old Towns and World Of Food Truck. (Esta última es un área excelente para comer diferentes tipos de comidas de diferentes países) Esta es mi cuarta ves que me hospedo en este hotel y lo único que está ves fué diferente es que me cobraron un resort fee de $12.95 plus tax por noche. Y antes en el pago que hacía en expedía era el total definitivo, osea no pagaba nada más adicional al hacer el check in en el hotel. Ahora el total de Expedia aunque diga que incluye los fee y tax, pues no es así. Expedia debería aclarar eso en sus descripciones o incluirlo en el total definitivo. En Resumen quitando ese inconveniente del resort fee que no está claro via Expedia, excelente opción para quedarse. Espero sigan así y mejorando, y sobre todo con los buenos precios. ✌🙌

The room smelled amazingly fresh ans clean upon walking in. We asked for an extra pillow or two and the so kindly brought us 4 (we sleep with a bunch at home so its weird without them haha). Bed seriously qualifies as one of the most comfortable hotel beds ive ever been in. The breakfast appeared good but the lack of space and seating just caused us to leave as it was very claustrophobic in there. But i will take a good bed and aclean over breakfast any day lol.

I feel like the floor could’ve been cleaner. It was a little bit of sticky. The water stinks and the staff were being loud at 8 o’clock in the morning.

Lift provision is there but of no use and very difficult to climb to 3rd floor. I have pictures of dirty ness but unable to upload here. Please help me know how to upload the pictures. They charge more after booking for amenities which they won't provide like Lift, Water, Soaps, Hand towel. etc.

Rooms were clean and good. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good. Cons: There were hidden fee of around $14 per day which was not shown during booking. Shuttle service is not useful as they start at 9.40 am from hotel and 9 pm from park. To catch the shuttle while return, you have to skip main Disney attractions, pared and fireworks.

The water drains very slowly on the tub. No outlet near the bedside. Resort fee was not disclosed during booking. Room is a bit dusty. Water in the shower is not strong enough. Breakfast is okay except for sausage which is a bit dry.

Got charged a “resort fee” for the furthest thing from a resort you can find in the area…… swimming pool wasn’t even open the entire week I stayed

My sister and I waited several minutes at the front desk while the employee on duty ignored us and spoke to himself. When he finally addressed us, his tone was disrespectful, asking why we were “just standing there like we’re shy” and telling us to “use our mouths” to ask for help. Despite this, we proceeded to check in. My sister received her key, but I was given a room that was already occupied (Room 220). I was reassigned to another room (Room 124), which also contained another guest’s belongings. When I asked for a printed receipt, the employee became visibly irritated and questioned why I wanted it. At 1:30 a.m., he informed me the hotel was fully booked, leaving me and my children without a room after an 18-hour drive. The entire experience was unacceptable and unprofessional. I am requesting a full investigation, a refund, and follow-up regarding this employee’s conduct. In addition to the mishandling of my reservation, the staff member’s demeanor, hygiene, and behavior were entirely unprofessional and concerning. This experience fell far below the standards I expect from you.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Oct 11-15th 2025

The hotel itself looks dingy and dirty from the outside and as we pulled up I was uncertain about our choice to stay here. To our surprise the room was nice and updated and VERY clean. The breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast. The elevators didnt work, and we did not get the room type that we booked but otherwise once we were in the room you forgot how awful the outside of the hotel looks. The linens and pillows were good quality, the bathrooms and all surfaces were clean. The bathroom had some soap and shampoo, no conditioner so bring your own. Location was close to everything convenient, 10 minutes to disney. Was charged a daily resort fee at check in even though expedia does not say there was to be one so that was a surprise. Anyway, cant say i’ll stay here again but it served our purpose for our 1 day trip!

This is a motel. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. A nice place to stay for a night, but I wouldn't vacation there. They charge a $14 resort/amenities fee on top of your reservation when you check in. The pool was closed because it was October. Breakfast ended at 10am. We went at 9:30 and all they had left were waffles and Corn Flakes. Again, clean rooms and friendly staff, but nothing extra.

This is our 3rd time staying there. We enjoy the stay. Employees very nice and helpful and very courteous.

The stay was good overall it was very packed. The room was great, bed very comfy , nice big tv to watch....My only complaint was the people (foreigners)outside screaming at 7am then there kids screaming back at them woke us up and they woukd stop even when asked politely.

We stayed there for a Disney trip so we weren’t there very much which was great because this place is a place to just lay your head, get some brekkie in the AM and some coffee before you leave all day. My only gripe is that they are a remodeled and they smell it and are a little rough around the edges. Not a fan of the extra fees per day for the stay, and I wish they would actually clean the floors. We don’t wear shoes in our rooms and our feet/socks were incredibly dirty. I prefer clean floors.

Breakfast had zero space for people to turn around in. Coffee was good and extremely hot. Line for the waffle maker was very long, did not get to try it. Parking spaces were very tight for our full sized van. And at times very busy, with people abandoning running vehicles in inconvenient places that limited the rear exit.... Location was extremely convenient for our trip which included a concert in disney springs. Not quiet as large groups get back from being at the nearby theme parks. Our room door allowed a lot of outside air exchange, like it had suffered being slammed with something blocking the bottom of the door, repeatedly. And our upstairs neighbor's foot steps were heard very easily. They had a child who was a stomper but I could hear other footsteps too. For the price, overall a pretty good experience. Would go again.

Room was clean, very basic and exactly as pictured. Bed was comfortable, clean soft linens, plenty of big pillows. Lighting was lacking during the day, but plenty crept in under the door at night. Smiling breakfast hostess was always busy. Hot options were rotated, needed some fruit.

It was definitely a great value. We just needed a place to shower and sleep. This was perfect for the very reasonable rate they charge. We were in town for the Amusement parks so we didn't spend much time at the hotel. I would stay there again assuming the rates were similar. A great value in my opinion.

Only complaint was that the door didn’t seal correctly allowing outside air and light into the room.

I cancelled the stay after two miserable nights. Staff was good they tried to help, but the issue is with the building and the 2 in gap around the door frame.

Water leaking from the AC units everywhere. The whole property is moist. The landline in the room was not working. No one came to fix it even after reporting more than once. Breakfast was good though.

We needed an affordable, quick hotel at the last minute. The staff were nice and the rooms were clean and spacious.

One thing to watch out for: the hotel allows pets, which is awesome and makes sense with the easy-to-clean floors, but there’s a $75 per night pet fee. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere on Expedia or even on the property’s own page, so it was a surprise when I checked in. Breakfast is included, which is always a nice touch, but the area where it’s served is pretty small for how many guests the hotel has. It felt crowded and it was a bit tricky to find a spot. All in all, a solid stay if you’re looking for a clean and comfortable room (don’t judge the book by its cover!). Just be ready for the pet fee if you’re bringing a furry friend, and expect a cozy breakfast setup!

I was only there for two days. The television didn’t work. All it needed was new batteries in the remote. I told them several times they did not help me. The pillow on the bed had stuffing coming out of it. I couldn’t watch TV, even though I wasn’t in the room that much. It would’ve been nice to be able to put on the television at night. I tried to get coffee in the lobby, but they didn’t have cups

This was my go to hotel for my family bi-monthly trip to WDW. The first visit was great, well good for the few hours we were there to sleep. Nice breakfast, but the coffee could be better. The staff (especially Harry) was always nice, and goes above and beyond to help in any way. Though at the time (I didnt put 2 and 2 together until now) I ended up with roaches in my car. Our second visit was just as good, but 15 minutes before checking out there was a roach that came from the 2nd bed that we didnt use. The 3rd and last trip, we didnt even get to stay. After driving for 3 hours, a long day at the park we were ready to go to bed at around 1230am. We open the door and the light switch didnt work. I set our stuff down on the bed and walked to the bathroom area to turn on the lights and my daughter yells, "Mom theres a roach", at the same time I see a very small one run across the bathroom floor. We quickly grabbed out stuff and went striaght to the front deck. 10-15 mins later, they were able to give us the last room they had... 4 doors down, and before we could even open the door there were roaches outside the door. My 3yo had to use the restroom, so I took her in, and theres roaches everywhere, including a dead one floating in the toilet. We left right after. They were able to get us a room at a neighbor hotel down the street. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to the hotel. Not until i know for a fact that they dont have anymore roaches.

The breakfast was poorly stocked. The eating is small and the food line can get backed up with people waiting for their waffles to cook. The air conditioner was very loud all night. The rooms were good and the staff was friendly. Good for short stays since it’s close to most of the big Orlando attractions.

This property was not what I expected when I booked it. The name first and foremost is misleading. It’s not the “Howard Johnson” it’s called the Developer in and it was a hole in the wall. My door would barely close and had a gap at the bottom that if anyone really wanted to, they could look under, the tv did not work, the water never got above like warm, the room was not clean (pubic hairs on the toilet, hair in the bottom of the tub, floor hadn’t been swept in several days and there was so much dirt and dust on the baseboards I could have stuffed a pillow. Doors face outside so you are going from your door to the parking lot which is not very well lit and the main entry point from the freeway is around the back of the building making is super confusing. The staff was nice and the bed was semi comfortable but this stay had me cringing and was completely misleading bs what was listed and pictured.

Great stay!! The breakfast was a bit of a daily routine, but it was still tasty. The location was great on the strip, with tons of shops and restaurants. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were spotless.

After a grueling 10-hour drive, we were starving but still excited to unpack and settle into our “nice” hotel room. When we returned from dinner, we were horrified to find a swarm of cockroaches in the room. We were moved to another room, only to discover more bugs immediately upon turning on the lights. The third room on the other side of the building had ants. While less terrifying than cockroaches, ants are still unacceptable in a hotel room, especially considering I have never had any bug problems at home. Because cockroaches and ants can easily hitchhike, I had to take extreme measures to ensure I didn’t bring them home. After another exhausting 10-hour drive back, I had to immediately go to a store and spend $150 on bug bombs for my car something I never expected to deal with after a “vacation.” As if that weren’t enough, on the second night, my room phone didn’t work. I had to leave the room in the middle of the night just to contact the front desk. To make matters worse, there was no hot water, meaning my daughter and I couldn’t even take a proper shower. We stayed in Orlando for 1 night as were headed to Magic Kingdom in the morning. It was perfect accommodations and the price was right! Room was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was included. I would definitely recommend.

Staff were terrible at taking notes or doing shift handover. Would'nt allow us to check in for 2.5 hours claiming computer issues and suggested we just go and book another hotel (mine was pre paid) had to call to get hoise keeping multiple times. Office staff were aggressive, rude, and each time i webt to talk to them at their request they had no idea of the previous encounters or notes

The staff was great. Dining area for breakfast was too small for the hotel. Almost every morning you had to take your food back up to your room due to it being packed. The door to our room was iffy. It looked like the bottom was rotted and there was no seals around the doorway. So every night we had to plug the door away with our towels to make sure bugs and critters didn't get in while we were sleeping. Again, the staff was great.
