Market Place had roaches, several roaches. Notified staff and they attempted to shoo it away. The roaches were on the floor in the open part of the market, as well as on the bottles in the open refrigerators. The bugs walked on the bottles and the staff did not replace the bottles. House keeping was late and did not show up each day of trip even though reserved for daily service.

Other than price being high the stay is always excellent! This weekend ofcourse being a holiday weekend made the Gaylord’s a little hectic/busy but it didn’t take away from the nice experience . Our luggage was lost at one point due to poor communication & I had to step downstairs with a worker to help find it but other than nice , a nice stay

Arrived at 4:00, check in time, room was not ready. Left with our bags and a reservation number to get us to the pool area. Pool area was packed(which was to be expected) however when you’re left walking around to find a chair while waiting for your room was annoying. Room became available an hour and a half later. Super crowded everywhere, not the ideal luxury experience I had in mind for the cost of resort. Room was clean, bedside lamp not working, toilet paper holder kept coming apart. (Things that normally would not bother me at all), but again for the money you spend, all the things should be in working order. The communal area to eat was not the cleanest, table cloths were dirty, food under the tables. The soft serve ice cream bar in the market was gross. Overall experience was poor for myself, would have saved the money and stayed somewhere else and maybe just made dinner reservations for nice restaurant.

The hotel is excellent, but because it’s huge, at first you can easily get lost. Even with the signs, some directions can be confusing. But once I got used to the layout, I even started helping other guests find their way around.

This is a great hotel. You can smell the nice, clean, fresh, relax scent once you get to the lobby, I love that feeling. Staff always very nice and attentive. The atrium, restaurants, shops and water park are amazing. Very spacious and there’s always things to do during your stay. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at this resort. The pools were fantastic and the walkways throughout the middle were so pretty and our toddler loved it! The rooms were clean, spacious, and the AC worked great. The staff was top notch - so helpful and nice!!

The property is HUGE, but in the best way. There’s always something to explore from the indoor gardens and waterfalls to the restaurants and little hidden corners that make you forget you’re even inside a hotel. The staff was warm and welcoming throughout the entire stay, and the overall cleanliness and service really stood out. What I loved most is that you truly don’t need to leave the resort. Between the pools, dining options, and overall atmosphere, it’s perfect for families, couples, or even a relaxing getaway. That being said, just something to keep in mind everything inside the resort can add up quickly (parking, food, extras), so it’s definitely more of a luxury experience. Overall, it’s a stunning, one-of-a-kind resort that delivers a memorable stay. I would absolutely come back especially for a special trip or to enjoy everything the property has to offer without ever leaving.

The rooms were very nice and it felt like a all-inclusive resort inside. We also did the couples spa which was super relaxing. For already paying a nice price for the room, they nickel and dime you every way they can inside too. The restaurants were pretty expensive, the food was fine. The worst was the more cafe/market, we spent 50$ for cheap breakfast food and two bad coffees. It was horrible in both being over priced and taste. The stores inside were all WAY over priced as well SPF was 35$.

Only issue I had and will address is they were doing construction right next door to my room and it started at 6am. But the manager and staff were super accommodating and understanding. Also they should have more staff working in the pool area. This poor girl was working by herself and did an amazing job catering to the whole pool/water park area.

This is one of our favorite hotels to stay at but we called prior to ensure at least one pool was heated, due to the colder weather we had, and none of them were, unlike what we were told. The pools were too cold for many guests to use. The hotel was tremendously understaffed in the pool area making it extremely difficult to get food/drinks. People not being able to use all of the pools may have added to the bottleneck in service. We also had people sitting in our reserved lounge chairs as they don't have a good enough reservation method to identify which seats are reserved as most all are numbered. They have a towel stating 'reserved' but the writing is so small I can understand why the group who took our seats was confused. It just made everyone uncomfortable having to ask them to leave as they had already settled into the seats. Other than the pool area, it would be great if more of the restaurant bars and seating were open outside of dining hours so we could grab drinks or bar food indoors. The rooms were great, very clean and well stocked. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the breakfast buffet was great as well as in the pool area once it finally came. It would be great if they had a buzzer system as there was no way to tell your food is ready to be picked up. The gardens were meticulously kept and they had fun activities for the kids. Many great things going for the hotel but we were there to enjoy the sun and pools and weren't able to.

Overall beautiful and amazing however the women’s bathroom in the water park had multiple stalls with doors that wouldn’t lock (the locking mechanism was too short, misaligned etc), the paper towel dispenser cover was hanging off, and the waste receptacles in the stalls for feminine hygiene products didn’t have bottoms so there were pads on the floors of multiple stalls. Other than the women’s bathroom, everything else was beautiful and clean.

Love this property! I would recommend finding out what convention schedule is. Music was ridiculously loud and terrible for private event. The convebtion goers were drinking heavy and rude.

The property is very clean and smells great. However, a couple of restaurants—such as Tacos & Tequila and Moors—either opened late or had very limited dining hours. The dine-in movie is only scheduled once at 5:30 PM, which is the only opportunity to see it. Other restaurants that were advertised as open were sometimes closed. Although an amenities fee is charged, there isn’t much opportunity to fully enjoy or use the amenities due to the restricted operating times.That said, the crocodiles, the Easter decorations, and the overall ambiance are definitely eye-catching and add a nice touch to the property. 🐊🌸.

Not run well. Construction during presidents week they said was their slow season. Seemed to be one issue after another. Traveled with my family and my kids were excited to use the slides which weren’t working majority of trip. Had to argue to get daily resort fee refunded. Would never go back. Restaurants were pricey but food and service in restaurants only were great!

I think there’s a lot of really really good things to do here if you’re looking for an all-inclusive hotel specially in Florida I would choose this hotel. That’s very family friendly.

I understand this is an expensive hotel and I have stayed at places that are over $1k per night but charging $450 a night and $40 for parking which was disclosed and I had no issue with was fine. But then to nickle and dime we with a $45 per day resort fee is just stupid and not what I would come to expect from a "high end" hotel. Pick a lane either be a expensive hotel or rack up fees that you arent going to let people know about in the beginning dont be so shady and do both. I really wanted to say I liked the hotel but this leaves such a bad taste in my mouth that I would never feel comfortable coming here again or ever recommding this place to anyone.

Way too many people. Waited to check in >30 minutes. I didn’t realize I was going to Disney Jr. the ICE show was interesting but a giant fail in terms of $ and time. The absolute best thing was the Cobb Salad at the Sports Bar. I can still taste how great it was.Having to,wait in line for everything, even breakfast. Room never got made (not their fault, there weren’t enough staff). We did get towels and water from friendly cleaning staff. They were overwhelmed. Too big, just too big for me.

Another nice stay at Gaylord Palms. The Christmas holiday is always a great time to visit. Renovations definitely made a difference. The breakfast buffet and Old Hickory Steakhouse were a hit but MOOR was a little hit or miss this time around. Wreckers Sports Bar had good food and plenty of TVs to watch football. Tons of stuff to do on site in addition to the annual ICE event. The holiThe holiday themed escape room was a nice touch this year. Always enjoy the pools and other water areas (though the kids area was closed which would have been nice to know so did ahead of time). Did not go off property for this trip but it's obviously easy to do so if you want to get to the surrounding theme parks.

Yes. The young lady who checked us in was courteous and professional. The wait staff(Lynette and Adrian)at the Hickory Steakhouse were phenomenal. Waiter Omar at the dinner buffet was great and made sure we were taken care of. The Spa professionals were amazing(Lia, Sue, Katy, Laura, Chris and Annette). First time at this resort. Great experience!

It was honestly disappointing. Our stay had a lot of hiccups. It took valet 30 minutes to get our car, causing us to be late to our destination. We got locked out of our room because the batteries need to be replaced on our door, something that should’ve been handle before a client checks in. Most of the staff was friendly and we appreciate the attempt at being a more traditional resort, however there was no follow through. There were many apologies from staff yet no action taken.

I had an excellent experience at Gaylord Palms and absolutely loved the hotel. The room was incredible, and the view overlooking the shows made it even more special. Hands down, our best Christmas ever!

We arrived early and got fast room but had to change it 4 times due to bad smell. We didn’t get information about hotel, took long time, and the only room we could smell to help with the smell is balcony so there will be fresh air to the room. Nice view but freezing and load music from shows entered the room and disturbed till 22:00 every night. Horrible experience

A special shout-out to Luu, our waiter, who truly elevated our dining experience. His warm personality, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. He checked on us often, offered great recommendations, and made the meal memorable. I also want to highlight the Cuban chef who prepared one of the best meals I’ve had at a resort. The flavors were authentic, beautifully presented, and clearly made with passion. It’s rare to find such high-quality cuisine inside a large resort, but this chef absolutely delivered. The resort itself is stunning — from the lush atrium to the clean, comfortable rooms and the amazing water-park area. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed and perfectly maintained. Overall, Gaylord Palms exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for top-tier service, incredible dining, and an atmosphere that truly feels like a getaway, this is the place. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

When I arrived I was created promptly by the valet, they were great. I told them I wanted to wait to get my stuff out till I was checked in went to check in waited almost 20 minutes, meanwhile someone also cut in front of me when the lady finally was available. I left went to grab my stuff came back for 2nd attempt at check in, things ran more smoothly second time. It was close to 5 all the restaurants seemed to still be closed, one had private party. Decided to do room service which was good. They had a musical performance that was going on almost close to 9pm for any early sleepers. Overall beautiful place not worth the money.

Hotel hosted a very political conference with extreme opinions (Moms of Liberty) — friends and I will not be back.

We often stay at the Gaylord because it offers activities for the whole family. My 8 year old likes the kid’s pool, and my husband and 13 year old son like the Flow Rider. So imagine our disappointment when we got there and found out that both the kid’s pool and the Flow Rider were under renovation. Why close both attractions together? They should have some kind of disclaimer for these situations because had we known that, we wouldn’t have booked this hotel.

The property is beautifully kept. Check in was an easy process and everyone was extremely nice. We love the Gaylord and will always be a favorite

Beautifully renovated rooms, super spacious, clean and comfortable beds. The lobby is an experience of its own! Lush greenery, waterfalls, gators! Great dining experience and outstanding customer service.

Super nice stuff, nice place

Nice weekend getaway with the family. Enjoyed the day at the pool and walked around the resort. Only complaint was that the surfing attraction and kiddie playground were under renovation during the time of our visit. Definitely recommend to couples wanting a weekend getaway with or without the kids!

Also the self parking is too far from the lovy ;with the same expensive price that valet parking.

Food at Socio restaurant needs improvement.

I've been here 4 times already and can't get enough of the convenience for a family, not to mention the huge Florida theme atrium

no kids activities except for one gaint water slides. rest of them are closed for construction and had to leave a day early since it was boring for the kids

The Gaylord Palms in Orlando is one of my favorite resorts to stay at while in Orlando. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always genuinely kind. Food options are awesome although most shut down rather early. The property at the holiday season is just, memorable with the decor.

Service is excellent , clean and fun .

Beautiful property very clean. Love the waterpark and restaurants. The whole resort was amazing.!!

Very good but they ask you for a deposit that supposedly means if you consume something or something breaks, they take it from there. Well, it means that in the end the deposit is not returned because the pool and parking are not included. They charge it from the deposit, something they don't tell you about the pool that is not included.

Gaylord Palms offers a different experience all together. Whether you're there for business or with your family, you will have a wonderful time. They are also located centrically offering easy access to theme parks and outlets. Love staying here!

Very nice clean ,family friendly atmosphere ,loved that there are designated areas away from the resort for smokers,I hate the smell of cigarette and vapes so I was very happy that my kids and I didn’t have to deal with the unpleasant smell of cigarettes or marijuana ,the resort has a variety of store and restaurant ,very pricey but if you go well prepared you don’t have to spend lots of money in there ,also outside the resort there are multiple restaurants and it is very close to Disney Springs .My family and I loved the experience.

The pool needs to be cleaned, there was a lot of green algae/mold on the hotel pool and a lot of tiles were cracked - possibly access the water park for the kids - the kids area is VERY heavily oxided

The only comment would be that we would have liked a few less expensive food options on property

Gaylord Palms Resort is simply one of a kind—an experience that’s hard to put into words. The pools and water park were a dream come true for my girls, keeping them happily entertained all day. The dining was just as impressive, with fantastic options that made every meal a treat. A truly magical family getaway that we can’t wait to relive!

I would not give my vehicle to Valet this hotel. They have scratched my vehicle and I didn’t realize it till I came back home! It’s such a shame!

Excellent service and installations

Stunning and exceptional. Massive hotel with gorgeous garden atrium for an ejoyable discovery stroll, with alligators, turtles and coi fish to see as well. A mid sized waterpark with a lazy river that kept the kids happy. Impeccably clean and courteous staff. Only negatives for us were slow elevators, a non- functioning bathroom vent fan, and steep priced food.

My favorite resort all time .

$52 a day for using a valet without even having the staff move your car is ridiculous. Also the $45 a day resort fee is pretty expensive as well. Equals out to and additional $97 a day just to park and be present on site, not including the stay itself.

This property was beautiful very well kept

Its a beautiful resort. Luxurious and at the same time great for children. My kids 5 and 10 year olds loved the waterpark and pools, they had a blast. The hotel is super clean and staff is super friendly.

* No microwave in the room and the Market is the only place on the property that has the one microwave, but it closes at 10p! My daughter got sick and needed some tea but I couldn’t get hot water. * Outdoor bar closes so early, doesn’t encourage anyone to stay late and hang out past dinnertime * Not enough servers at the pool; and they don’t come around at pool very often, even forgot our orders/requests more than twice. * Ran out of Icee for kids at the pool at 12p on Sat, the busiest day * Not allergy friendly - Diff ingredients of the same food at the pool and the one kid-friendly restaurant, Wreckers * No activities during week for kids to enjoy * Slides/river closes early * Never enough cups at water station at the pool * Vending machines in our tower were out of order so had to walk all around trying to find something cold to drink * Wreckers food takes so long to come out. We were there late at 10p and it wasn’t even crowded but food still took long to come out.

Loved the garden!

Very nice! Atrium is gorgeous and a host to many tropical plants and alligators! There are so many species of palm trees and sub tropical plants inside the atrium which is a sight to see, it’s huge! Highly recommended, very nice experience.

Kids will love it aswell as adults

We truly enjoyed the the experience and customer service. One of the biggest take aways was how safe I felt having my children there and they also loved that they were able to play soccer. I look forward to my next stay with my family.

Fish Alligators and garden

The entire building appears to be mostly renovated and looks great. The problem is its too loud and too crowded plus they nickel and dime you every chance you get. $45 for resort fee, $52 for valet parking ($40 something for self-parking), $45 per person to reserve a chair at the pool. They had multiple events and weddings happening simultaneously and their was a long line for everything - coffee, food, pool, etc. The wedding was held in the atrium and was so LOUD it could be heard non-stop in the rooms. It was disturbingly loud. I won't stay here again. Not a good value for the money when al is said and done.

The resort was great and very kid friendly. There is so much to do without having to leave. This is truly a one stop shop and worth the stay. We are already planning to return. 10/10. The pictures don’t do it justice of how gorgeous it actually is.

The entire property was amazing. Why do you need to go to Disney when you’re staying at the Gaylord Palms? 10/10.

Beautiful hotel but extremely busy. We counted at least 5 groups hosting their meetings & events. This is definitely on the expensive side.

Literally amazing. Stayed here as a staycation with the kids and I feel like I was on vacation somewhere other than Florida. Worth the money for this beautiful hotel.

Parking garage a little far and should be complementary

Truely amazing service! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The resort has everything you could possibly need. The food was amazing as well as the pool and waterpark. One of my favorite places to stay.

Lovely property within small uber or share ride distance to all the Disney parks. Early enough in the season to not be overwhelmed with crowds but no enforced quiet times and atrium facing rooms get the full blast of kids wheeling around and screaming until 2 a.m. it’s a resort so be prepared to pay a premium for everything. Lots of cheaper delivery options but no delivery to rooms. Pool area clean with good spaces for adults and kids. If you’re not aware of Florida water bring plenty of bottled water, even for brushing teeth.
