It was terrible. We ended up staying at a different hotel about 20 minutes away.

The room was not clean and the beds are very uncomfortable

TV didn’t work. Floor was atrocious. Bathroom was not real clean. Door lock was hard to use. Temperature control was not easy to use. Overall, it was disastrous place to stay.

Terrible staff. Wanted to trick me to pay more.

Walls are VERY thin, could hear everything from the room next to me. My door wouldn't open or close... was extremely tight and had to literally shove it with all my strength. There was also a huge gap under the door. I think my "neighbor" was snorting drugs beside my door when I got there. The backboard of my bed had ugly bare spots where either the paint came off or something banged it up horribly. Some dirt and hair in my sheets and pillow cases, which honestly was expected because it is a pet friendly hotel. No plug for the bathtub and the faucet was about to fall out. My AC unit didn't work. They shut the water off the morning I checked out because there was flooding in the rooms below me, so I wasn't able to brush my teeth or shower. I think basically everything could use an update... The bed was comfy!

The gentleman who checked me in was really nice and very professional. The bed was good. The room looked and smelled clean. The locks worked. The tv worked. The ac worked. I was grateful for the provided toiletries. The open liquor store onsite was off-putting. In my room there was a used towel in the bathroom and food left in the fridge. The sink contained hairs and whiskers. The property as a whole felt shabby and neglected. Dark parking lot, unlit stairs, empty rooms with sagging curtains. It wasn’t a safe and secure-feeling place.

Nothing How nasty the room was with meth heads all around like it was their resting place. I was with my 16 year old daughter & her friend for a sporting event 5 hrs away from home. To come to this dump wow its really bad.

Clean rooms, parking was a bit of a challenge. Plenty of options nearby for food

Stayed one night but it was all we needed. The room was clean and staff were friendly. The hotel is walking distance to gas stations and liquor stores. It is also 30mins from downtown Nashville. It was a good night’s stay.

Warped Floors. Constant Smell of Weed, Cigars, and Smoke. Two pitbulls and one German Shepared roam the property unleashed without any issue from the staff. One charged myself and my service dog.

Given the winter storm and the previous experience at the last motel we were at, these people were phenomenal. Any issues or requests was done on spot, everyrhing clean and warm. 68 for a room was well worth a hot shower and warm bed!

I need my money back.

There was no breakfast. Didn't realize that people were living there. Would have booked somewhere else. Not a fan of the liquor store in the hotel.

Nothing Room smelled like skunk. Had 1 towel to share and area was very sketch. We ended up leaving after we complained about the smell and they said they can’t refund.

Staff was cordial but I wouldn’t call it friendly. The check out service was incredibly unprofessional as I checked out through a ring camera. I would stay here again if I needed to but if I never visited again I’d be happy.

Room was fine. We had dogs, and room was close to a back door. Great places to walk them in the area. Breakfast was underwhelming.

The bed, towels, bathroom were clean. TV worked and AC worked. When I needed to tell my neighbors to be quiet cause they were playing loud music, they did turn the music off. Traveling as a solo woman, I brought a door stopper but thankfully dealt with no odd characters. The only issues I found were that the curtains dont conceal light coming in from the outside- so at night your room is dimly lit from the outdoor night lighting. Additionally, the floors were sort of gross-- like they hadn't mopped and were sort of sticky. I had to walk around my room wearing shoes at all times. Inconvenient when I had to shower.

The room was very basic and not that clean. Would really need a remodel. The hole place felt unsafe and was very noisy with young people making quite a lot of noise late at night.

Staff was polite. Room had roaches. Killed 3 myself, found a few more dead. Floors were slippery, smelled like it was because too much mop solution was used and the leftover soap residue made them feel greasy. Got the job done for the night, but I wouldn’t stay again if I could help it.

Feet got black from walking barefoot in room. Bathtub was slippery, almost fell. Only had coffee available in the morning, but there was a liquor store attached.

Location Cocroachs in room 132, got moved to 121 and tv didnt work. Can't get a refund. Slept a few hours and ran from it.

This is an older property, but the rooms have been upgraded and ours was very nice and clean. It was a safe place to stay.

Ok …. So I was from this area but am in the processing of moving - so out of convenience we stayed here. We would have changed hotel but because of the way I booked I knew we wouldn’t get a refund. So we stuck it out. We only slept there. The floors were gross, the door was sketchy, there was mold on the ceiling to the bathroom. I knew of the liquor store because I’ve bought liquor there -so that wasn’t a problem. I chose this because of the reviews. They are not accurate. It was cheap - but not nice. Sorry to the owners- I know they are locals - the steps to the second floor were not in good shape either.

This was a great impromptu stay

No complaints. Just needed somewhere to crash after a concert in Nashville, and this place delivered at a great price.

My only real complaint is that there was no deadbolt on the door. As a woman traveling with her teen daughter, I would feel safer if I was able to deadbolt the door. It did have the hinge thing on it but that was it. But it was very convenient to the high school my daughter’s tournament was at and it is also right off the interstate. The front desk people were very nice.

Also much better gas prices right by this hotel than in the main Nashville area.

The staff were friendly. I do wish there were grab bars in the shower and hooks for clothes and towels in the bathroom.

The staff was very helpful but room 132 needs a new door lock and the bathtub has been broken and patched so it doesn’t feel secure. Also the building has been graffitied a few times.

Room floor dirty. No drain in shower. Hairdryer missing. Parking lot cracked with weeds. Liquor store in lobby! Chairs outside rooms with ashtrays. Stairs to second floor uneven with very high rises. Overall sketchy looking.

It wasn't clean bathtub was horrible the floor was slippery because of the dirt there. There was socks from previous customers.

It looked a bit sketchy on the outside, some junk that really should be cleaned up. Other than that the service was friendly, rooms were very clean, and it was quiet. I slept very well.

Its not as well kept as most places but will work in a pinch.

If all you need is a place to lay your head, then this is it. The residual of whatever is used to clean the vinyl floor makes it sticky. I would not walk with bare feet. Furniture was dated, but comfortable. Ice machine is tucked into a scary nook. Outside is filthy, but the room served its purpose. I would stay here again if needed.

We checked and left to go to dinner and never went back. The entire Motel was sketchy. There was graffiti spray painted in the outside. I have veneer seen a liquor store connected to the checkin of the hotel. The check in lobby was only about 6x6 and the liquor store was packed. Just the time we were inside we could hear other people out on the side walk. There was a very strong odor in the room that killed my allergies.

Very clean room, comfortable beds, four pillows per bed! I’ve paid twice this much for a room not nearly as nice. No complaints! Very sweet friendly clerk.

Don’t judge a book by its cover - the outside of this hotel with its graffiti and location itself is a bit rough to the eye at first if you’re looking for something that you would think of as “nice” on first glance, but the rooms and service are like that of a hotel similar to Hilton or another large company. We are very used to going to the “typical” hotels - tall buildings with elevators and hallways to get to your rooms - and I’m very sorry to say we were slightly hesitant at first. I’m not exaggerating when I say we were blown away by the quality of this hotel. Rodeway Inn had exceptional rooms, beautiful and very high-end feeling - extremely clean, as it seems they clean right before someone enters, as well as right after someone leaves. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, kind and easy to work with. Rooms are very easy to get to as well as parking for each room being outside of the room booked (out car was right outside our door). There is a gas station next door open 24/7, and there are a couple fast food options within walking distance as well. WiFi speed is great! Rooms fully stocked with shampoo/conditioner/body wash/soap, a working mini fridge, and an HVAC unit that worked very well. Plenty of pillows and blankets so if you like a thin pillow you can do that, or you can stack 2-3 pillows like I did if you like a bigger pillow! There is an ice bucket ready with a bag already in it, everything is already set to be easily accessible and easy to find.

Check in and price experience was good. Bed and bedding was comfortable and clean. The bathroom left much to be desired. The ceiling was covered in spots of black and I did not feel comfortable showering. I felt better leaving without showering than with. I was also left with sticky socks as the floor was sticky and hadn't been cleaned in a while. I have stayed at this hotel at least once a year for the last few years and this was by far the least clean the room was

I did not stay at this hotel. I accidentally booked the room because I thought it was the hotel I was sitting at when I stopped for the night. Hotels.com tried to get the booking cancelled without penalty, but this hotel refused.

Shabby on the outside, but very clean on the inside. Would recommend for a good cheap place to stay. Very close to the Natchez Trace, Montgomery Bell State Park and Harpeth River State Park. Excellent hiking nearby.

Also there was no place to hang anything, not even your coat. I understand stood.There was supposed to be breakfast, but they only had instant oatmeal that I think was 2 years old, as was the creamer in the room. Couple apple and oranges, 2 granola bars. I probably would not stay there again.

This is the best affordable motel I've ever stayed in! The staff has been superb since the minute ee checked in. The rooms are modern, clean, and the price is unbeatable! I would stsy here again and again and never regret it if it's always like this experience has been!

Staff was friendly and rooms were great on the inside. Area around the hotel was pretty dirty and there was a graffiti on all the outside walls.

It was very difficult to find a park. Due to the parking lot arrangement. It did not appear to have enough parking spaces for all the rooms.

First, cleanliness was a problem. After showering, I walked from the bathroom to the bed and noticed my feet were filthy—clearly, the floors hadn’t been cleaned properly. Second, the room keys were a constant headache. Both keys needed to be reprogrammed every single night, despite us keeping them away from our phones and storing them either in separate pockets or in the car. The worst experience happened on Thanksgiving night. We returned to the hotel around 11:30 PM, and our keys didn’t work again. The office was closed, so we had to call the number listed on the sign. It promised a response within five minutes, but it took over 20 minutes and three calls to finally reach someone who could help. While the price may be budget-friendly, these issues made the stay frustrating. I would say to look elsewhere. I wouldn't stay here again.

Hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. Inside was nice and clean, but outside is dumpy looking...Also, blinds inside the curtain would really help keep out outdoor light.

Great room, it was clean and roomy. The gentleman at the front was amazing helping me out when I forgot to ask for a bottom floor room. He found us one right away, my poor 80 year old mother in law wasn't going to make the stairs. So very happy and would stay there again.

Great value for the money. Having a Liquor store just off the lobby gave us pause when we first arrived.

Fece on the toilet seat and body hair on the toilet and in the tub when we checked in. Asked to be moved. Told housekeeping would come. 20 minutes later no housekeeper and I needed a restroom. Gave me key to another room and said we could move there. It smelled of odiferous food having been cooked there. Went back to original room and “housekeeper” startled my son by entering the room unannounced dressed nothing like someone who would be working at any establishment. The soap had been used and he accused me of putting the feces on the seat. I told him I had to wash my hands after seeing the disgusting bathroom. He took a rag, sprayed something, wiped and left. Desk staff having conversations behind the desk with little acknowledgement we were there at check in or check out. Lesson is that you get what you pay for.

Staff was very rude and unprofessional. This place has several homeless population on site.

The door did not close all the way we had the upper lock put in. There was a dead moth and couple dead bugs by the tv. Staff was nice. Tv was really fuzzy no internet connection

The outside looked terrible. The inside was new but the floors were dirty as it turned out bare feet black. The tub was stained and thin with it giving way if stepped in the middle. The TV rite didn't work very well. The road noise was constant from the highway. At 6am a garbage truck sounded like it was right outside the door. To top it off, the bed was hard as a rock. Don't stay here.

There appeared to be people permanently living in rooms smack in the center of all the rooms. They were out on the walk way to the rooms in chairs partying till late at night. Didn’t feel safe nor welcoming.

The outside hasn't been recently updated but our room was great. The room was clean, nicely updated, had a comfortable mattress and the air conditioner did a good job. I would recommend to others and would stay here again.

Bedside lamps did not work. Very little grass in the area to walk the dog. Room was otherwise nice. Clean and no maintence issues.

I lived in Kingston Springs for many years. I had to go for a funeral on this stay. I thought it was great! The price is wonderful and the staff is nice. Agreat place to stay when visiting Nashville. You are only 20 minutes from downtown.

The inside was fairly clean. The floors were sticky. There were cobwebs on the top of the lamps. Large ants in bathroom. Such a shame. I'll miss staying there for the convenience and price.

The outside of the motel looks sketchy, but the rooms are large and clean.

The advertise that the pet fee is $10, but they changed it to $15 when we got there. We got to our room and it was nice but there was paint chips all over the floor for the dogs to eat along with hair in the shower. Bed was cozy though.

The outside building need all of improvement .Inside the room are okay but it needs little cleaning but overall it’s fair is not that dirty and it’s not spotless clean.

We had a very pleasant stay. Our room was recently remodeled and clean, and the bed was great! And it was reasonably priced. But the front desk area and outside of the building needs some maintenance and upgrades...a lot. It is very unattractive and run down. I had viewed other reviews and knew this was going to be the case, thus my lower rating.

Entering the room you could see pride of ownership. The room was clean and modern. Plenty of pillows unlike my last stop. Although there were plenty of guests. It was very quiet. Check out was just as quick and easy.

A couple gas stations nearby but didn’t see any food places. I work in the city so had about a 30 min ride to downtown and there were several exits close by that seemed to have plenty options for food. Quiet little town. I would stay again for business.

The floor hadn’t been mopped in a while. You had to wear socks or your feet would be black. And it smelled very strange in there. Also when we went to check out no one was at the desk and a random guy off the street said to leave it and he would let them know.

The plain rooms are fine but we took two stays here in two weeks. First dirty towel left in bathroom. Second time, tv not connected, rate for pets had changed from $10/night/dog on first stay to $15 on second which is ok but sign in lobby said $10. Coffee set had only decaf.
