The room was relatively clean, but the floors and surfaces were not systematically cleaned, nor was the bed cover. It was nice not to have carpet. The bathroom toilet also wobbled and the bathroom was not as recently renovated as the rest of the room. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but there was noise at night from the other occupants and a noticeable lack of attention to detail in terms of finish and maintenance. It was what we expected for the lowest price motel we could find in the area. Adequate, but not spectacular. The temperature control worked well and most of the staff were both cheerful and helpful.

Place was rundown and in need of a better reno than a landlord special. Badly repaired damage, musty room, tiles over the shower ready to fall down on you, there was dirt between the sheets and bed cover. Enough dirt on the floor that I had to brush my feet off getting in bed. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, no surprises or let downs. Advertised as having a hot tub. IT DOES NOT. Pool closes early for no reason.

The front this lady was very good. The breakfast was awesome. The room was Alden raggedy wasn't clean properly. The neighbor's next door they partied all night outside. They're on top of my car doing cigarettes everywhere. I had to ask him to get off my car and get out of the way they made noise to 3:30 in the morning. I didn't get an ounce of sleep. It was the worst place to stay, said they had a hot tub. They didn't have one, it was raining so we couldn't use the pool parking was okay, but the smoking rooms you stay INR nasty. The chair was broken in the room, the leg was falling off the other chair, there was sticky stuff behind the bed, the bathroom was raggedy. Never stay there again

I am selling my home and going through a separation i was on the phone concerning the selling of my home with my agent and forgot to go to the front to pay for another night. He came to the room raising hell! Pushing tge door opening not letting me explain why I'd forgotten to come down told him I had tge money and would walk down but he kept cutting me saying ive given you enough time and put your stuff outside he threatens to call the police I say I'll call them because I don't appreciate how i'm being treated, so I did. They came out and were empathetic to my situation they stayed around as I got my stuff out the room. Absolutely never again!

Great little hotel, everything worked and had a good spread for breakfast. Definitely a place to stop if you're looking for a good value outside of Charlotte and the North Carolina mountains

Close to the event site. Air conditioner... not properly mounted in the wall. 1 to 1 and a half inch gap between AC and the wall. Cold see where mounting screws were not screwed in to mounting threads. Daylight shining through, could see the walkway outside the room through the gap. Luckily I had duct tape in my truck to cover the gap. Almost 2 inch gap at bottom of door entering the room. Bottom third of door was flimsy, like someone had been trying to kick it in. Definitely needed replacing. Cleanliness of surfaces in the room was questionable at best. Used chlorox wipes to clean surfaces.

The room was large and clean and I loved the location. The mattress was hard and it had a large dent on the edge, so I had to make sure I didn't sleep in that area.

Breakfast was provided but the cooked foods were not very palatable. I didn't like that the cleaning staff rushed my family out and I was even trying to be kind and considerate and give them the dirty towels and all the sheets since we were running a few minutes behind but they were still all like leave now leave now smh ?

What I didn't like was everything the only thing that was good about that place was the girl that worked the night shift she was very helpful kind and understanding. But for the rest of them they were rude hateful and they acted like you were stupid so I will never stay there again.

Everything else. There was a huge gap under our door, (it was big enough that a squirrel could have fit under it)people smoked pot and it came into our room. The tub was extremely small and never had hot water. We didn't get a "do not disturb" sign so the first morning at 10:00 when we were sleeping, housekeeping knocked and when I said "no thank you" twice he still came in and said "room service" the breakfast wasn't that great. The only thing that was good was the waffles.

It was close to two kings casino It could use some definite improvement, total redo of the bathroom!! Only really good thing was the flooring being hardwood. There was a vent in the bathroom that was so loud even with the door shut. Definitely need to replace toilet, way to low could barely get up of of it.

THERE IS NO HOT TUB!!! It should be removed from the description. The ONLY reason I rented at this hotel was because it says hot tub on site. There is no clarification, the review box literally asked me how the hot tub was… A frequently asked question is: is there a hot tub and the answer is yes there is a deep soak tub in each room. That is not true at all. There is a mini bathtub that you might want to think twice about…I literally didn’t feel comfortable walking on the floor barefoot and I hike barefoot…the staff was friendly, and said there is one jetted tub in a private room. Why is that not in the description or answered in the FAQ. It’s false advertisement… I was bamboozled. If I wasn’t going to get a hot tub I would have stayed somewhere else

It was clean outside and inside. We were always able to find close parking. There were lots of fast stations and fast food around as well. It got a little noisy one night but overall was a positive experience

Room smelled like weed and wet cigar. Walls are thin so I heard every single thing in the next room. Also my room was non smoking so the smell shouldn’t have been so strong.

The fire extinguisher was not attached to the wall properly. The carpentry and tile work didn’t appear to be professionally done.

The room was dated and needed minor repairs. I had a non-smoking room but could smell the Marijuana in my room from the other guests. Would have been nice if the rooms that were non-smoking were in a destinated area.

Breakfast was good, staff was friendly, especially the lady handling the food. Bf got shocked pretty hard when turning on a light, another light didn't work. Getting to our room wasn't very handicap friendly unless we parked on the other side.

I booked a King suite and was issued a double queen room. Was not informed about the until I opened the door and had to return to the reception to question the room. Then I was told that the hotel over booked on King suites. There was no reduction in price for the room era. The sheets in both beds where dirty. The room was not clean. I paid for a King suite and received a double queen room. The sheets were dirty and full of hair. The room was not clean .

That place was filthy, sofa had large stains on the cushions the bed never was even slept in based on the questionable state of the sink and bath tub with very large very visible streaks of a very glove and Clorox worthy unidentified substance all over the sink and sink handle. Finally making my way to the bathroom which was only partially accessible due to the door dragging the floor which was covered in what I assume was water or not I don't know and it was nothing lacking for the trip to see that the so called deep soak bathtub has not been cleaned I'm quite sometime estimated by the height thickness and dark black ring all the way around the inside and my favorite part is how the shower handle that has absolutely nothing holding it on and comes off in your hand. It's never been what I would consider 4 or 5 stars and while I didn't ask for one it would I'm my opinion be a stay that should come with a refund and possibly a tetanus shot so sadly I gotta say I do not recommend this one and will prefer to not give it any stars at all

Secondly, the Guy at the reservation dest ignored me when I asked him to switch me to Comfort Inn. Something has been going on with my phone and I think that's why the booking was wrong. I stayed 2 nights at comfort inn because that's where I always stay. Cost me extra.

The customer service was great very sweet people. The tub could use an update sanding and a new paint coat. No issue with any other cleaning though. They need a new ice machine. But other than that my stay was good no other complaints. Would definitely stay again.

There was visible sand as well as trash on the floor. I did complain to the manager. I told him he could come see the room if he wanted too. I was very disappointed.

Really need to work on cleaning the rooms properly. Toenails on the floor, bugs in the coffee pot. I spilled a little water on the floor and used one of the white towels to wipe it up and wow, came away filthy brown.

We got a non smoking room, the room smelled of weed. The door wouldn’t close at the bottom looked like it’s been kicked in so we had to put our luggage’s in front of the door to keep the bottom frame in.

The floors in our room were So Dirty the bottom of my feet were black. I put a damp wash cloth down and rubbed it across the floor next to the bed and it was filthy black! The bathroom floor had old dirt behind the door. Only one small bath towel per person was ridiculous.

we were tired, having travelled on Christmas day, and also with with my wife who had cracked her collarbone 3 days earlier…the room was spacious and very comfortable…there was a splatter of what looked like plaster at a spot over the headboard, but that was not a problem for us…thank you for a good stay

This was the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed at! Then our almost 10yr old daughter noticed a roach that was the biggest I've ever seen(our house is in the woods in the country, and we burn wood for heat, so we're familiar with roaches). I believe seeing that, and the almost inch gap in the baseboard where the guy ran off to just made us all uncomfortable about wanting to stay.

I am a business owner who had employees staying at this property for over a month. My employees are a 30 year old and 20.5 year old. I accidently booked the room in the 20.5 year old's name for the week. The owner reused to check him in. I understand the underage policy, but the owner would not compromise nor would he refund our money.

The staff very nicely switched my room to nonsmoking after I mistakenly booked smoking. The property was old but care had been taken with updates, and cleaning. The breakfast was good.

When I was getting ready to do laundry, I put quarters into the soap dispenser. It says “slide will lock out when empty”. It takes the quarters and nothing comes out. I go up to the front desk, and the same man insists that I pay another $1.25 for the same box of soap behind the counter. He was extremely rude and treated me like a second-class citizen. You cannot be that cheap, lack integrity, and expect your sh*thole of a hotel to continue prospering. I hope his hotel goes out of business. He obviously isn’t investing in the property itself anyway.

I go up to the front desk, and the same man insists that I pay another $1.25 for the same box of soap behind the counter. He was extremely rude and treated me like a second-class citizen. You cannot be that cheap, lack integrity, and expect your sh*thole of a hotel to continue prospering. I hope his hotel goes out of business. He obviously isn’t investing in the property itself anyway.

I love this property. It is in a great location with plenty of places for dining. The staff is always super friendly and helpful.

Door looked like someone attempted to kick it in so you could see the outside from the inside of the room. The bathroom had pee on the walls. The toilet haf grime and nastiness around the base. The bathroom floor had mold. We put a towel on the ground to step out onto after the shower and the wet towel was black from the dirt on the ground indicating it has not been cleaned. Light sockets were dirty faded. After driving for hours to get there, we checked in and we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes as their system updated so we could get our key. We asked if we could sit in the lobby being that we have been in the car for hours and was told no the lobby is closed. Not like we paid money to stay there or anything. Then we were told there's a deposit and it's on the website. I said no, it's not anywhere on the website and you have our card we've already paid. We were told that's just the room charge. There's a deposit of $60. So being exhausted at 11:00 we gave the deposit but seems sort of scammy. Granted they did give me the deposit back when I checked out but this should be included prior to being led to drive to the location and then slapped in the face with a new stipulation. I booked on Expedia and didn't find anything about this listed. Expedia definitely should put this on the listing so people aren't misled. Financial times are tight and some people don't have an extra $60 to let them hold overnight while you sleep in the room you've already paid for.

The staff is great. However I was concerned there was no knowledge of the drain clog in the bathtub of room 114. Needs time to complete whatever change over is going on. Have to be back again next month. It’ll be interesting to see if there are any improvements.

Everything is fine except the Wi-Fi doesn’t work!

I stayed here a couple years ago & was not happy with conditions…. However, The place has been renovated & seemed like an entirely different experience. An excellent value. Clean, well lit, well maintained…. would definitely stay again.

When we first arrived, the room looked decent but upon further settling in, it became obvious that there was very little cleaning actually done. There was blood on one of the beds sheets, trash in the bathroom and whenever you walked on the floor it turned your feet or socks black from filth.

the beds were hard and seen 4 roaches the night staff wasn't very friendly and every morning we had to go to the office cause the card could lock us out

Decent rooms, owners were rude and went around knocking and trying to get you to leave early before checkout so they could clean.

The room was dirty there was hair all over the place and urine on the toilet, holes in the walls and the shower bar was hanging off the wall. The front desk lady was great though.

Wi-Fi not secure and doesn’t work.

The property wasn’t bad for the price. The staff wasn’t great. On day 2 of 4 they went into my room and disconnected the heating element in the air conditioner. They also removed the used towels from the sleeping area, refolded them and put them Back in the bathroom. The only reason I would return is because it’s work travel and I had a rate of $35 per night.

I booked this room and it did say non refundable however there should of been a word UNLESS in there. Got to the hotel and mind you I am disabled. I called ahead of time to let the lady know I was not able to walk and needed a down stairs room. I am in a wheelchair and barley able to walk. My husband went in there to pay for the room. It was really bad weather and we needed sleep after coming 4 hours to see family. The lady told him he could not pay that I would have to come in to pay and show id. He explained to her my condition and said he was my husband and showed his id We have the same last name, She demanded that I come in or she couldn't give him the room. I was parked right in front and she was able to see me in the car. No kind of customer service. I went in there and she asked how I was doing . I told her not good being she made me walk in knowing the issue. She said to me before you take this room can you walk steps. I told her NO and why are you asking? She said cause the room is upstairs. I said no we talked on the phone and you said the room will be down stairs and everything would be fine. She said I can give you a down stairs for an upgrade. I said listen I cant stand for a long period of time and I want the room I requested and you said I could get it after booking online. She explained that it is not possible. I said then in that case I need a refund due to not meeting my needs. She said that she could not give me a refund because it was non-refundable.

The staff is very friendly and the breakfast options were nice!
