    Staff was really nice… we stayed in room 223 an we had to put the title up in the restroom the whole ceiling was not covered… a lot of kids were hanging out at night around the hotel… this is my 2nd stay at this hotel very nice beds but room could’ve been better

    We didn’t eat breakfast. Parking is easy and felt safe. Hotel needs work - dirty side entrance, loose wires hanging from wall, elevator needs a makeover. Room was fairly- bedsheets were clean, bathroom could have been cleaned better- door and walls. Overall, it’s exactly what I expected for the price I paid.

    It was loud and we didnt get to sleep hardly because of that. The sink makes a horrible noise when it backs up. There was loud banging noises all night both nights. The floor was sticky. The food was garbage. When I told the front desk nothing was done about it.

    Nasty with a capital 'N'. The property looks like it had a recent renovation but the room and common areas, elevator, etc were so dirty and smelled terrible. The floor in our room was sticky, walls had streaks of grime running down them, bad smell. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. Elevator was dirty, grimy. The access door on the side of the building was broken so it was open and unlocked. Would not stay there again, not even for a night passing through. Many other hotels nearby that are similar in price and much cleaner.

    The lotion and shampoo was mostly used that they give you there was stuff all inside of the bathtub. The only thing that was actually good about this hotel was their breakfast. The room smelled like cigarettes and there’s no smoking on the door you smelled like marijuana in the hallways.

    The mattress was stained horribly and furniture was dusty , the chair was to nasty to even sit in. The floor left the bottom of your dirty after walking on it. The water in the sink took five minutes or more just to drain when brushing my teeth. So no I would not recommend this motel to anyone nor would I even stay here again.

    We will not be returning to this hotel. The staff was the best part of this hotel. They were kind and accommodating. The property did not look or feel safe at night. When we arrived, there were two men in the back parking lot, seemingly inebriated, laughing loudly. The glass door that was on the first floor, which went out to the side parking lot, did NOT latch, which was a safety concern that anyone could walk in and be in the hotel that was not a paying customer. The first floor smelled of smoke, the elevator was dirty, and the tiles were broken as you entered the elevator door. Our first room was very dirty. The furniture had stains, and the bathroom was not cleaned as I feel a Comfort Inn quality should be. We asked kindly to move to the second floor, and the lady at the front accommodated us. When we arrived, the curtain did not close as it was torn and dirty. The phone did not work, and there were several small dead bugs in our shower. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, so I can not comment on the menu. I was very disappointed in the quality and cleanliness we got for the amount of money we paid. This hotel needs to be renovated and cleaned.

    Also, the front desk staff were wonderful. I don't think I have stayed anywhere with a friendlier, more helpful front desk staff. They are exceptional!! The room, was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. And the security was well implemented so that I felt completely safe staying there alone. This location will be on my list anytime I need to be overnight in Kings Mountain, NC.

Breakfast was nasty. I wanted a bagel and half of it was hard and stale so picked out an English muffin with the same problem. Skipped breakfast after that. Don’t stay on the first floor unless you want to put on a show for everyone that walks by outside. There are sheer curtains that go across the window and the blackout curtains that can’t be closed which leaves most of the window open for viewing.

    Yes,the parking was safe. I believe you need more handycap parking. Im handycap and the 2 spaces were taken. The vehicles did not have a placard or plate that said handycap. I am greatly disappointed with that. Everything else was fantastic.

    You get what you pay for. Actually it was a bit overpriced for the condition of the hotel. We needed a place to sleep on the way to FL. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable, towels were fluffy and soft. Bathroom ok. Floor needed a good cleaning. The front desk woman was so sweet and welcoming! Overall it was fine for what we needed for 1 night. I would not stay there for multiple days.

    When we got here it looked like it was clean. However when we pulled the covers back we noticed that there was small roaches, hair, and crumbs on the bed. We dust the bed out and pull the comforter up and slept on our own sheets and cover for 2 days. There was so many bigger roaches crawling around.     The hotel looks like they have remolded some areas but other areas are very old. The walls, doors, hard surfaces, and floors needed wiped down and mopped. Every soft surface/item was stained. (Chair, duet cover, pillow cases, sheets, and towels) furniture was very worn. Missing and damaged outlet covers. We did not use the microwave or refrigerator so not sure how they worked. Some mold in the shower and must have also been somewhere else in the room. Our sinuses and throats were swollen and raw by morning but did clear up not long after we left the hotel.

    The bottoms of my feet and my husband's socks were black from walking in the room. Handicap commode was way too low--rundown bathroom. Breakfast was put out one time, no one was there to replenish or clean up during the serving hours. By 9:00 there was no hot anything other than coffee or a waffle. Hotel needs major renovation.

    When we first arrive very good service for check in. Get to room the door sticks and have to slam it shut. There was always standing water in the sink. Second night no new towels. Went down stairs ans was told to come back in the morning. Left came back old towels taken no new towel trash emptied no new trash bags. Had to keep apologizing to my son for the room. Close to where i needed to go but will try harder to find a different hotel next time. Hope Hawaii wont be like this in a few weeks

    The staff went above and beyond. Bed was comfortable. Housekeeping, Sylvia was beyond good! The property is rundown but they are doing some work. Concern about doors left open where someone could come in on the side undetected. Pool is not maintained. Mostly “average” travelers but to be honest there were several sketchy people that I wouldn’t have felt safe had I been alone. Constantly people sitting in cars in the parking lot. Fast food only food option nearby except one Mexican Restaurant.

    Elevator floors are filthy. walls in the elevator needs to be cleaned. Floors outside elevator needs to be cleaned. No phone in room, No drawers to put personal clothes away out of site.     I felt unsafe as a mom traveling alone with a child. We got there, inside was super sketchy and messy dirty. There were diaper boxes and dirty socks and loud tvs and everything was broken down and toulet paper was shoved into a non-existent peep hole. I got there, checked in, got to my room, was so uncomfortable that I turned around and left. I would absolutely not recommend this for women alone, or families.

    This was the nastiest hotel I have ever been to! We travel ALOT and stay at a lot of places but this was by far the worst. I definitely will not be back. I reserved and pd for two nights but I only stayed one night and it wasn’t by choice there were no more rooms in the area. There is trash everywhere and sketchy people walking around the hotel asking for money and other things. I didn’t sleep all night worrying about. I definitely would not recommend this hotel. When I went to check out I told the gentleman why I was checking out early and he sd “I apologize “. No one should have to pay and stay at a place like this! The only positive was there were no bed bugs bc you better believe I checked thoroughly ! Don’t let the outside appearance of the front of the building fool you like it us! Everything is DISGUSTING the furniture, walls, floors, and the bathtub!! The parking lot looked like a mechanic shop. As u can tell our experience was terrible!

    I stayed here for business trip. Smelled weed the whole time. Lots of unsavory characters lurking everywhere. Back entrance left open with no thought of security.

    This hotel is extremely outdated and rundown. There was an odor throughout and our bathroom smelled like weed. The eggs at breakfast were disgusting. You would chew and water would just ooze out. So gross.

    I booked this room for a quick overnight stay for my son’s baseball tournament. We arrived after 8pm to check in, the lady up front was nice enough but you could tell this hotel was old and semi kept up. Once we got our keys we went to our room only to find that it was a room that had not been cleaned (bed had been slept in and dirty wet towels on the floor of the bathroom)! This was completely unacceptable!! I went straight back down to let the lady know and she promptly found me another room, she said sorry but didn’t seem to act surprised. The 2nd room was at least clean but the paint on the walls of the bathroom was chipping off and the toilet would not flush completely. Water pressure in shower was weak. The elevator was old and looked sketchy so I used the stairs. Some areas looked as though they were trying but other areas were just very old and worn looking. Breakfast was edible, the OJ wasn’t working but the coffee was actually good. Overall not a great experience and honestly if a hotel gives you a dirty room then your stay should be comped immediately, no questions asked. I won’t ever stay here again.

    Toilet would not flush so had to request a different room. Staff was able to accommodate and we got a room with working facilities. Elevator was dirty. Waffle batter was still out in breakfast area when we checked in at 8pm so we skipped breakfast the next morning.

    An older hotel that appears to be going through some updates. I came from Asheville during the hurricane looking for a warm shower, comfy bed, and electricity. It had all that. Water pressure left a lot to be desired. Didn't sleep much from the construction crews going to Asheville coming and going all night and hearing a door slam but can't really blame the hotel for that.

    Every one is going to have a different experience but as for me personally, I would definitely stay here again. I stayed here 7 nights and every day when I would leave for work breakfast and coffee was hot, ready and available. When I would get back around 6 my bed was made, my room was clean, and I always had fresh towels ready for me.

    Due to the circumstances of not having power at home, I chose to get a room. Overall moldy smell in the hallway and room, dirty toilet and shower(cleaned it myself before using)white paint on the wall and sitting furniture, stain on the bedding and woke up to a large roach in the floor.
