Spark by Hilton - Kent, Seattle

You can tell this place used to be a Days Inn, nevertheless they made a good job at refurbishing it. Everything looked good and was clean during my stay.

This hotel wasn’t too bad. It was clean inside and during our stay it was cleaned very well each day so kudos to whoever does the housekeeping there. Someone had smoked in our room previously so that was pretty unfortunate but that’s not the hotels fault. I found the communication between the staff to be fairly lacking - we got a 11 pm text about our work trailer blocking too many spots in an empty parking lot and a complaint about not having our dog on file even though I claimed him both on check in and on the reservation itself. I also felt like the lady who checked me out when we left was mildly threatening about charging us if they found any issues which I didn’t really like. My last complaint would be that the room was tiny. The area was good though, even though there was a ton of truckers staying they went out of their way to keep the place clean with all of that foot traffic and the lobby was great, breakfast was good. I think that this hotel is probably pretty good honestly and that we just didn’t have the best experience; we’ve stayed at a lot of great hotels so that’s probably what I’m comparing it to. Anyways, if you’re in the area I would say it’s a good place to stay at a relatively decent price for the area it’s in.

We were gone too early to take in their breakfast or coffee, so I can’t review that part. For the small price tag, it was better than other hotels in the price range, and I would stay there again.

The breakfast everyday has no variation, cereals, bread, boiled eggs and yogurt considering under Hilton management. Customer service was very poor too.

Property, common areas and room was clean. Small cold continental breakfast available but there was a Starbucks across the street and a Denny's down the street.

The rooms and hotel as a whole felt kind of cheap and a little janky, not what I expected from a Hilton property. It was like a Quality Inn with a Hilton veneer pasted over it. The housekeeping was not great either. There were no cups or glasses anywhere in the room which is a real drawback if you like to brush your teeth. And there was someone’s takeout trash half-hidden behind a lamp. Overall, the hotel reflected very poor attention to detail.

Disappointed with breakfast options, one of our rooms had many maintenance issues and had to switch rooms, WiFi was poor, and tv channels cut out routinely.

The hotel is located at very convenient location right off of the highway. But hotel is surrounded by two main roads in the noise gets in to the room pretty loud. Other than that, the staff is very friendly, rooms are very clean and very well maintained.

There was no breakfast at all The hotel did not meet the expectations shown online. There was ongoing construction inside, which made the stay uncomfortable and noisy. Staff were not very helpful when I asked for support, especially after I lost my money. The ongoing construction made it even worse.

The Spark by Hilton should be called the Lipstick on a Pig. Its a clean dump with decent service. Its was clearly an old hotel that got some new paint. The renovations do not make it a Hilton. I expected alot better. Will avoid Spark or should I say Sparkless by Hilton in the future

Doors are heavy and people let them slam shut at all hours of the night, very sleepless stay. Clean but older hotel that has been spruced. Very loud with road noise on the south side of building, very close to freeway.

Possibly gets some fluffy pillows. Notice the wallpaper in the bathroom is bubbling or kind of peeling off. Also for breakfast, possibly have some waffles or french toast availble

Appreciate the normal sized height of the beds. Most hotels the beds are too tall for a paraplegic to transfer into. The soap and shampoo attached to wall across from shower bench and hard to reach when showering. Only disappointment was no coffee pots in room.

Since a building map was NOT AVAILABLE, the front desk clerk suggested I could go to my room & turn on the lights-opening the curtains so I could be sure I was parking where I could keep an eye on my car)… That was a great idea! Then, I discovered, the rooms - at least that side of the hotel weren’t numbered in order. My room #108 was btwn #106 & #114! So, no wonder’s the young night checkin clerk couldn’t tell me “WHERE my room was”) Lights on in room/cart by side entrance - I returned to the lobby/drove my car back around & parked by my room. By then, I was extra tired & in pain from that shockingly frustrating fall… I retrieved my things with the cart & was able to settle into my room over an hour after checkin! Room was clean & would’ve been comfortable. Didn’t sleep well-head, neck, back, hips leg pa…CkOut-fine.

Comfortable. Room was handicap accessible, as required. Breakfast was nice. Options were upgraded from the average--nicer bagels & muffins, nutella... They even had non-dairy milk which I really appreciated.

Clean, convenient and friendly staff. We were there on a Thursday witnessed other guests using a skateboard, hoverboard in the parking lot with a dog. Slamming car doors, making noise after 11pm. Security drove by and nothing said. Large truck noise

The facility was clean, the rooms were small but had all the amenities needed for an overnight. Im not a fan of the provided shampoo conditioner and body wash - but thats why i carry my own 😉 Definitely a place to stay when catching a show at White River!

Good value for the money. It’s clean, comfortable and has the Hilton essence. My wife had an online exam on the day of our checkout and the staff went above and beyond to arrange a quiet meeting room for her to do the exam past our check out time. Also provided baggage storage service after checkout until our pick up time arrived. We would totally stay here again.

Staff shows no interest in solving problems you may encounter, it's incredibly disappointing when you can't trust those who are supposed to help.

This is a clean, no frills hotel. Bed, pillows and linens are very comfortable. The room and shower are clean. No extras. No coffee maker, no fridge, no clock. However there is a hair dryer! Comfy and clean for a stay near the airport. Good hotel for the price.

Difficulty with getting onto Internet. I am a seasoned traveler and have not had issues in my past.

Raj, the night shift guy shitak I believe his name is, Yesina during the day, the Cambodian girl that works front desk, and the cleaning ladies and the lady that prepares the breakfast all are heaven sent! They all have amazing customer service skills and treat you like family! My wife my daughter and my self loved our stay here!! This hotel is older but recently painted and new carpet. Our room was clean and had a comfortable bed. It was very noisy in the hall all night long with soccer teams.

Nice renovation

Mariachi music filled the hallways at least until after I noticed the police lights out back. Yelling throughout the night inside the hotel and out. Pretty sure they were throwing hands (outside hopefully). No bueno hilton, no bueno.
