Comfort Suites At Kennesaw State University

Really liked the location and staff. It was clean, just very drab bordering on creepy. Slept well. No issues and very close to some restaurants. Breakfast wasn't great, wish there were better options.

The hotels towels looked clean, but after they were wet they where a dingy grey color.

We stayed there for the PBR NPI baseball tournament. While it wasn't terrible and location was good, the ice machine was not plugged in so I guess not working and no urgency to repair it. There were portable AC units in the hall way which was weird and they need to get a plumber in to clean out the p-traps because you can smell sewer gas especially when you run the faucet.

The hotel was clean and neat. My maid that I saw she helpful. The only problem or complaint is that the towels they provide were dingy as if they weren't being bleached. Didn't get the opportunity to report my concerns. I would stay there again.

It was in a good location right off the highway. It wasn’t very clean. The bedspread had stains and looked very dirty as did the bath towels.

We normally stay at hotel brands like Holiday Inn and Marriott and we will stick with them going forward no matter how much they cost because the issues we had was not on our list. The guy working that night did ALL he could to fix our issues but they had NO MAINTENANCE available to come help us. There’s more but, I wouldn’t stay here again ever

The property lost water for about two hours with very little warning. The room that I had was not clean and they came in 4 times to do maintenance in the bathroom leaving several cut holes in the ceiling. The chrome on the sink was peeling off. The carpet a the door had a big rip in it while was a trip hazard for my 93 year old mother. It is a non-smoking property, but one of the staff person was smoking right outside the door and allowed the smoke to blow back into the building. I asked him if he could close the door and he did not. I mentioned the issue to the front desk staff and they did not address the issue. Then the same staff person smoked right outside the front door to allow the smoke to drift back into the building and mocked at me when I walked by and said to me "I am smoking again. It must suck for you." I took pictures of the damage in my room and the smoking staff person. I asked several times to speak to a manager over two days since I was there for a total of three night and there was always an excuse that the manager was not available. I even asked if the manager could come to my room when they had a moment, but was never contacted. The phone in my room did not work for me to call the front desk. The elevator inspection expired over a year ago and the pictures on the site do not reflect how the property actually look.

Room was clean, it did smell a little musty. The 1st floor by the pool definitely had some water damage on the floor. The gym was down there with 1 eliptical, 2 treadmills and some free weights. There were rooms down there that I would never stay in! They did have dehumidifier going. The water pressure wasnt the best. The wifi worked well until dinner or later when everyone else was on it. The location was great, easy access to where we needed to go. Breakfast was good, loved the waffle station, seating was a bit small and over all area was a bit cramped to get food.

After a stressful stay at another hotel. I was so happy to be here. The staff were accommodating, friendly and very helpful. The only thing I would suggest is making the pool area more inviting. The dim lighting and dark room made it feel like a basement. I had no desire to swim there. Lighting and mood was terrible.

Located close to everything, Cracker Barrel is across the street, I75 is less than a mile. The college is very close. My daughter lives in Kennesaw so I stay here often and love it. The price is reasonable. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is a continental with a couple hot items

The restroom smelled strongly like urine, the floors were dirty, and the toilet clearly had not been cleaned properly. Even the towels looked dingy and dirty. Overall, the presentation of the hotel was terrible and it felt very run down. For the price, I expected much better cleanliness and upkeep. Very disappointing experience.

The indoor pool was ice cold. 90% of the fitness equipment did not work. There was a hair in our shower. When we checked in, we received no verbal information about location of amenities, breakfast times, WiFi codes, etc. Breakfast was unimpressive. There was no milk for cereal because according to the employee, it was all expired although we did see her give an expired carton to a different guest.

Hotel's bathroom needs major remodeling. Indoor pool not heated. Supposedly 'white' towels are grey from over using and over washing. AC very loud, sounds like train. Huge spider webs on the windows. Very dissatisfied

The beds and pillows were comfortable. The first room we were checked into had a bad smell to it, and it looked like it had not been cleaned. The beds were made, but the surfaces had not been wiped down and it appeared that the room had not been vacuumed. This was kind of disappointing. I also tried to use the gym equipment, which was not a good experience. They had one treadmill in the hallway. I’m assuming it was out of order. They had two in the gym area. The towels were dingy, I asked for new towels , they were worse, I asked for room service the third day and was told I missed the time, I could have service, I paid Hotel.com a fee an was told I had to pay them even more, this is a separate review. Food, location, that’s what I got, BUT that price was way out of line.

I have stayed here a few times and thought the rooms were nice but this time my bathroom was not very clean and the room overall was run down. I don’t know if the difference has to do with a king room vs two queen beds. Was not there long enough to comment on the breakfast. Usually the lobby is very festive

Room on 1st floor had moisture issue - smelled like mildew. There was dehumidifier running in hall. Floor was damp from moisture. Sheets were damp. No soap at all in the room. No shampoo - only 2 conditioners hanging on the wall. Hand lotion by bathroom sink. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was just so/so.

We stopped here on the way home from spring break and booked solely on the indoor pool amenity so our kids could burn some energy. We rated this on the lower side strictly due to the pool being ice cold - so cold our children’s lips were turning color. Otherwise, the staff was nice and our room was clean.

Room was not throughly cleaned. There was hair left in the tub and all over the room.We were finding hair on our socks and on our belongings. It was very gross.

Downsides: Sinks and outside patio access: Sinks in bathroom: although very nice and contemporary, were functionally failing. I am 5'2" and could not cup water in my hands to splash my face, because sink was higher than my elbows. Imagine anyone shorter than me, or a child. Sink would be totally unusable. That style sink needs a lower counter to be functional for many people. Outside sitting area - Very nice and peaceful, but we could not find access from inside, so needed to use the stairs to go down to it. Outside doors would not let us use our cards to go back inside at ground level. We had to use the stairs and go back up get to bathroom, and then to get back in.

Bed was very comfortable, which is very important! Breakfast was...bad. waffle maker not working. No bread or English muffins. Eggs hard and dry, bacon just gross.

Parking was safe and easy to get into the entrance. The breakfast was not what I expected. The eggs were not fully cooked and didn’t really know what was on them. The coffee was very strong and there was really no fresh fruit except older oranges. The bed was very comfortable.

Both the evening staff at check in and early morning desk/breakfast service staff were fabulous. Room was very clean, bed comfortable. Daughter said fold out couch wasn't the best but are they ever? Breakfast was great, location perfect for a quick on and off freeway. Nice wooded area. If ever in the area we would stay again.

Very clean, smelled nice large room with a spotless bathroom that was beyond big with stone tile floor . They must have an Incredible houskeep staff because the place clean top to bottom. Would never stay here again. The first room we got was dirty and had dirty sheets on the bed, the room had a strong smell of fresh paint and the hotel needs a severe remodel. We asked for anew room and Denzel switched our room for us. Read the reviews and take them seriously.

The room was very outdated. There was a flat screen TV with cable however, the couch was old. The restroom toilet was all the seat was very worn than faucet and shower knobs were very outdated. The showerhead was from dinosaur ages, and there were no towel racks anywhere in the restroom so where are we supposed to hang our towels?

This was a weekend getaway. The facility was clean and staff were friendly. It was a very small issue with the tv remote wasn’t working properly and the desk clerk came right in and took care of it.

Overall this was a pleasant stay. The only issue I had was the bathroom floors were sticky.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and had plenty of variety. The room was clean and fit our needs. Area for improvement: the pool was too cold to be enjoyable. Our room keycards kept deactivating and we'd have to go back down to the front desk to get them fixed.

The outside was nice , the location was fine. The guy at the front desk was so so nice Want to say first off , the gentleman that worked at front desk was so so nice !!! When we got in our room , we pulled the pull out sofa out to get it ready for the kids to sleep on . I was completely floored at how nasty this bed cover was . It was covered in crumbs or dirt not really sure . Also at the end of the bed it looked like pee . The peep hole had toilet paper shoved in it . The hair dryer was sticky . I had to wrap it with a wash cloth to be able to dry my hair . Water in the shower was not hot . And the WORST part……..we had late check out (12pm) . I had gotten in the shower , left the bathroom door open because my kid was in the chair watching his tablet. Housekeeping came in the room , then left I guess because they heard the shower …… they left the door to my room wide open !!!! My child could have went out of the room ……. Not to mention I was in the shower !!

Again, Denzel was amazing during the storm period and helped us out a lot! So the front desk staff was great at this location. Everything else was to standard. I dont know.

May not be a problem for most, I just like to sleep in the cold with the air on.m at all times. The shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed, it kept sliding open gradually. The bed had a railing out on one side of the bed so had to be careful walking in between the space of the AC and the bed ( wasn’t much room in between ). Could hear running above us but that’s only because I believe some kids had were staying for a sports game, We didn’t mind it though. Other than that, it was an Okay stay.

We went to front desk and asked if any other rooms were available, and the staff was understanding and accommodated this request. However, the new room had the same issues. We left the hotel the same night and found another one down the road that didn’t have the cleanliness issue.

This hotel has a good breakfast selection They had waffles, a variety of cereal selections for kids and adults, oatmeal and grits package to make on your own and variety of juices and hot drinks. I love my room it was nice and spacious and we had a good time. We enjoyed the indoor pool and exercise room too.

I read all the reviews and they all said how clean this place was except a few, but the few negative reviews were spot on. I paid for 2 nights and checked out early and they have not refunded me the 2nd night.

We were in town for.soccer tournament. The staff were very helpful and accommodating with asking directions and places to eat. Our room was clean and comfortable. The boys loved the indoor pool after a hot day on the fields. The breakfast had a good selection, not just pastries

The air conditioner in the room did not work. The mattress was way too soft… Though the staff was super friendly. The place was clean. I’m not sure I can stay there again.

Great option for a family on a budget. The beds and sink are high for kids / shorter people, but still manageable. As a family of 5, we always appreciate rooms with a sofa bed and refrigerator, with hot breakfast included. All our needs were met at an affordable price!

Our room A/C was not working the morning of our checkout; and the first floor A/C was out both days. We were told 4th floor also occasionally went out. And that the issue had persisted for the last year. We were told this unacceptable situation persisted due to ownership refusal to make the necessary A/C repairs! Come on, Comfort! Your property is in Georgia not Anchorage. As well, this condition is inconsistent w/ not only your ownership and the reputation of your brand, but also fundamental commercial hospitality. Staff is friendly. However, our room smelled old and dingy. There for a basketball tournament so apparently there weren’t any other rooms to move to. There for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned. Housekeeping did enter the room and only from our dirty towels from the bathroom. Hallway carpets and stairs were dirty and stained. Wouldn’t stay again.

This place had great photo ops outside. The beds were comfy. The shower could stand to get a little hotter. The breakfast was hot and ready. It was very convenient to graduation ceremonies at KSU.

We had to check out a day early & there was no issue & rec'd a refund for night not used Only complaint was I picked this hotel due to having an indoor pool but the pool was very cold & only 1 of the 4 of us went in. Also towels were not replenished.

The hotel is very close to the university and offers a good rate. The room was comfortable.

Breakfast was ok. Beds were comfy. If cleanliness is important to you this isn’t the place you want to be. The fire alarm went off at 8:45am everyone went outside. The fire truck came. We all went back inside. No employee ever talked to any of the guests with any information regarding safety. At 9:30 as I was getting out of the shower housekeeping aggressively was banging on all the doors and entered into my room despite the do not disturb sign being in place. She asked when we were leaving. Check out is posted as 11am.

We were down on the first floor. The chlorine in the pool was apparent stepping off the elevator down there. The beds were comfortable but squeaky and the room was clean. The breakfast was typical but the hot stuff was just warm. The lobby was decorated cute for Easter.

This hotel has seen better days. The room was clean enough but the bathtub was chipped and stained, the common areas were well worn and the walls were cracked. It was fine for one night but I honestly probably wouldn’t stay again.

The location is great close to a few options for you to eat and shopping, also the hotel itself is nice and quiet the rooms are very clean but the breakfast needs a bit more of variety and taste other than that I truly enjoyed and recommend it.

Beds were big, and super soft. Very comfortable. There were two queen beds AND a sleeper sofa. Didn’t realize it had the sleeper in the room. Check-in was easy, and parking was pretty good. Right off of the highway, so easy to get to. The only thing that was off was the mattress for the sleeper didn’t have sheets and had stains on it. So that was a little off. But overall very good. Met our needs.

The hotel was great, the only problem I would say is we were put on the 4th floor and our room was right beside the elevator, and every time someone rode it, we could hear it in the room, was kind of hard to sleep as it would wake you up.

only stayed 1 night on way to FL, very nice hotel, room was large, mattress was good, breakfast was very good with lots of options available, would not hesitate to stay here again in future

After checking in, I walked into my room and was pleasantly surprised at its spaciousness. However, that feeling was quickly replaced with a "Yuck!" when it was obviously surfaces (ottomans, night stands, etc.) were not clean. They had crusty stuff left on them and drink rings galore. I went back downstairs to let the night manager know. Travis, the night manager, was very polite and responded professionally. He apologized for the condition of the room and offered to put me in another room. I was appreciative of his wanting to be sure I was comfortable. Kudos to him! Sadly, once I moved to the new room, I noticed the same issues (though a bit less crusty) in it. Drink rings on the desk and night stand, the floor didn't seem vacuumed. It was late, and I was too tired at this point to say anything else. I didn't use the shower because I was not confident at all at its cleanliness. I brushed my teeth, went to bed, and left the next morning. For the record, the bed was very comfortable.

The staff had taken extra time to decorate the facility for the upcoming Valentines day. If they do that for everyone's pleasure, they will do the other little things as well

The clerk was super nice and helpful. The property looks fairly new and was in great shape. I was traveling alone and felt perfectly safe.

Check in was quick and easy, staff was very kind, pool was on the smaller side and not heated but my kids still enjoyed it so no complaints overall it was a nice safe and quiet place for a our night stop

Dirty, pool very cold, outdoor fireplace doesn’t work, ice machine broke, bed very old, furniture wore out.

The staff was so pleasant and the place was so decorated for Halloween. Very fun

The plumbing in the room kept sputtering and it had stopped completely while showering. While generally clean, the rest of the room’s condition was not anything to write home about.

There were a few roaches in the pool area. The pool was extremely cold and the area was dark so it made it look dirty. The issue is the pictures on hotels.com and facility were not the same.
