Best Western Plus Kendall Hotel & Suites

The hotel was very nice. The room was clean and very comfortable. Frank at the front desk was very nice and offered some very good local recommendations (if you stay here, you have to try Apocalypse BBQ across the street). The neighborhood is nice and I felt safe walking the area. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but good.

Had an amazing 2 day stay, recovering from surgery. The room was very clean and true to photos. The property is in a perfect location providing entertainment, food, and shopping if needed. I enjoyed my stay!

While I gave a 5 rating on almost everything (except staff where I gave 4) - I had very unpleasant experience with one front desk employee which left me speechless (to the point I walked away without saying anything on what just happened) and almost wanted to give a 1 but I didn’t want that experience to hurt the rest of the amazing staff that has been serving us well. I was told by the employee that they couldn’t keep my luggage until my late evening flight, was told they did not have availability (which was not true - I found one and purchased it through Expedia) and was told also they couldn’t extend my checkout to 2 PM so I can at least sleep in as my late night flight and long journey home was going to be heavy on me. The person had also spoken us unprofessionally (tone wise). In both instances, we stayed quiet because I personally think this person from a minority has either an issue or has something else towards certain people. And given that we received great service the rest of our stay - I decided to keep 5 rating on the staff because I truly believe a lower rating would punish everyone else.

It was over my expectations.

Worst experience ever. Someone came to the room 10:10 am literally telling me I had to leave. This is not the correct way to treat a customer. A lot to be learned at this hotel.

All was good no complaints at all, nice & clean.

We were in a suite that accommodated 4 people. There was always inadequate towels. We had to ask for aditional towels all of the time. With 4 people we requested daily cleaning service instead of every two days. We had to keep reminding them that we requested daily service.

The only unfortunate thing in our stay was a person that was also staying had an erratic behavior and was screaming “murder” at the pool making us feel unsafe I wasn’t sure if this person was a regular but nobody took them out or at least called the police. We were planning to get in the pool in the morning to then hang out in Miami at night but had to switch it because we waited until 11 am to see if they would leave the pool but kept screaming/fighting until then. We still had a lot of fun in Miami and the pool was warm at night which was great and we had a peaceful time. I still highly recommend this hotel and would stay again just wish staff would at least call the police if someone is disturbing the peace of everyone else staying at the hotel.

This hotel is excellent it supersedes expectations, the breakfast is wonderful and delicious, the pool is always working, they even have a gym! Also they have a washer and dryer! This is the best hotel!

Hotel was very clean and most staff was very friendly. Only reason for a four is because their key cards deactivate often. Had to have our cards reactivated 3 times in our two day stay.

Cons: there is no ice machine on 1st floor.

Fairly good breakfast

Everything was great except that the door wouldnt open sometimes. Handle wouldnt turn latch and would force you to double open the door. This only happened going in. Coming out worked great. Breakfast had good variety of oatmeal, cereal, waffle station, eggs, sausages, bagels toast, juice ect.. pool was clean and organized. Parking was easy, quiet street, low traffic. Easy access to turnpike in less than 2min. 15min to Zoo Miami made this a great stay location to get to things we planned to do while in miami. Only 30min to the beach was nice as well during peak traffic in the morning.

The shower also had a worn seal on the showerhead, causing water to spray onto the toilet and floor. Parking was also a concern. There was not enough parking directly around the hotel, so additional parking was offered in an adjacent lot on the side of the property between the storage business and an office building. Unfortunately, this area was poorly lit and heavily covered by trees, which made it feel unsafe. Even the short walk to the side entrances was concerning. On a positive note, the breakfast was hot and very good, and the Monday morning staff were personable. Dinner at Bahama Breeze, across the street and a short walking distance, was phenomenal.

This hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. Staff was some of the friendliest during all our travels. Free on site parking. Close to any and all food, restaurants and stores. Highly would recommend especially for price.

Both the young lady when checking in was not pleasant and the young man later that night was not very pleasant as a buisness owner I know that a smile means everything. The young man when we checked out was very nice smiling and courteous!

Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet even with construction next door, we could barely hear it. Hot tub was working well. Hotel was clean and up to date. Breakfast was the normal flare. We did have a few tiny ants on the counter where the microwave and fridge is located but it was not a problem. I did tell the front desk at check out and there was not a comp offered. Regardless, we would stay there again

The first thing is the language barrier if you don't speak Spanish, you're in trouble. Was there for 11 days because it was close to my doctor's office, so here we go how can you runout of washcloths in this huge hotel when the rooms are well over $200, had to shower with a hand towel, they had only 4 luggage carts so you/ customer had to walk the floors to look for a cart and cleaning the rooms was ever other day but this is the kicker they change the bed linen ever TWO DAYS yes you read it right EVER TWO DAYS.....so my experience was an eventful one

Room was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. My only complaint, not serious, was the coffee creamer in the room. It came out in chunks. I reported it to the person on duty. I picked up creamers from the coffee station in the lobby. I had an EXCELLENT stay!

the checking was late at 4:45 pm we had an appointment that we were late to. didn't like the room it was for handicap , the bedding didn't feel fresh, the smell on the room was bad. I always stay at this hotel and this time around was the worse experience we ever had.

I enjoyed my stay tremendously. Staff, breakfast and surrounding were great. I must commend them on the water system in the shower. The pressure and temperature were the best I have experienced in a hotel and I travel and stay in a lot of hotels. Keep up the good job.

I left this experience feeling direspected by the Housekeeping by disrupting my time in the morning. Check out is typically at 11, and begining before 10am they were knocking on doors multiple times.

Hotel and room were very clean. Breakfast was just ok. The employee that checked me into the room acted as if I was putting him out. However the checking out employee was great. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and will more than likely stay at one of those hotels next visit.

Booked this hotel due to Guest Rating, and must say was surprised by the level of facilities and quality of staffing. complimentary 24 hour fresh brewed coffee, quality business center with free printing, cleanliness, etc. Thoroughly impressed and happy to recommend.

Room and public areas clean and sanitary. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of nutritious food for breakfast - more than what I can eat. Evening macadamia nut and raisin oatmeal cookies one evening was a locely homey touch!

When you approach the front desk and staff look at you like you are disrupting their conversation you know what to expect. Plenty of Hotels in Miami and if you can't service your customers, we have options. Room was noisy, bathroom not cleaned well with hair from previous occupants. Finally they do nothing to accommodate a late checkout. Not coming back!

Terrible. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, not once but twice. Had to bring all my kids outside who were so scared to go back to sleep for the remainder of the evening. Really would have been nice for them to offer us something but again not a good expierence nor care to remedy everyone’s night,

This place was so great! As soon as I walked in it smelled like cookies. Sure enough, cookies were baked for the hotel guests. They made the experience so special. Truly did. Not to mention the breakfast was outstanding. You can make yourself waffles! Rooms spacious and clean. We will be back for sure!

This hotel is one of our favorites in Miami, we live out of state for the last ten years, and when we come to visit this is where we stay. It is always clean, comfortable, beds ara very good, internet, printer available and breakfast offered. We really appreciate their performance and cleanliness.

The staff at the front desk was so friendly and professional, The ladies that cleaned our room were fantastic and finally the ladies that took care the breakfast area were so friendly and accomodating.
