The breakfast was very good and the hostess was very nice. Our room smelled a like mold. But the room was clean.

The cleanest hotel by far that we’ve stayed at in the area from Kannapolis to Concord. The breakfast was ok- but the staff very loud videos while we tried talking over coffee and the eggs were way too runny to try to eat. But overall great hotel, and we will be staying here from now on.

This hotel stays booked and I can see why! Clean and comfortable! We come to town to visit family 5-6 times a year. Hope they have rooms available for our next trip.

This is my second time staying here. Rooms were clean and breakfast was delicious. This is now favorite place to book when I am visiting the area.

Hotel was clean. Breakfast was fine, coffee was great. The rooms back up to the Interstate. It was very noisy all night. The carpeting in the room had large stains and should be replaced.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Everything very clean. Continental breakfast good with nice variety. Only downside was road noise from interstate. I would stay here again but would request a room on opposite side of hall away from road traffic noise.

My room was exceptionally clean, staff was very friendly. The gentleman at the front desk was so very nice and helpful. We saw him at the ball game and he even spoke to us and ask if our stay was going well and if he could be of any help just to let him know! We are very impressed with this gentleman. The world needs more like him!

Our mattress had huge crater sized dips in it. Very uncomfortable unfortunately

I like that the parking lot in the front is well lit. Shopping and eating establishments are very convenient. I would recommend asking for a room not facing the interstate because that was pretty noisy. Otherwise, I will stay there again.

We recently stayed at this Holiday Inn Express. We were pleasantly surprised that this hotel was pet friendly since we were traveling with our pup. Our room was clean and the bed and pillows were so comfy. The area was safe and walkable to many dining options. This property has human and pup approval.

All the staff were friendly, especially Erica at the check in desk. Clean room. A pet friendly place that allowed us to bring our dog at lower price than other places.

Good experience. Breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety. Even checked out the pool which has some repair work going on but was ok. Highly recommended this hotel.

Plenty of food options to choose from! The hotel is clean and quiet for the most part. It was kids running on my floor early in the morning this stay but I didn’t experience that the last time so I won’t let that take away from the review.

A good overall experience! We did lkle that there are a few restaurant's, a Walmart amd a Kohls within walking distance. And while Dunkin donuts is also walkable there is a wonderful donut place (Donut House) about 5-10 minutes away if looking for something more.

Breakfast needs improvement. Pancake maker broken and breads were stale. You are getting what you pay for here. It isn't 5 star but I would stay here again if the price was right

Great Location for Family around all the food

I used Expedia for my booking and there was an issue with Expedias payment processing that caused stress for the hotel desk auditor and delayed our check in. The auditor managed the problem with patience and grace. I may not use Expedia for my next hotel booking.

Perfect location for events at Cabarrus Event Center

So many things wrong here. At night people were slamming doors, yelling, and this was late at night. One night there was a video game or TV show on super loud next door at 2:00. The whole hallway reeked of weed. It seeped under the door to our room. Ugh! The pool didn’t look clean, the hot food at breakfast was cool in temperature. In general it was noisy and reeked.

Always a pleasure staying here near family. This Holiday Express has everything you need nearby and always a delicious hot breakfast. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Up keep of the room was standard but needs improvement on cleanliness and to fix the deficiencies in the wall, furniture and cleanliness of the bathroom.

Clean hotel right off the highway. That said, it was very noisy all night with highway noise. Plenty of shopping and dining options within walking distance. 20 mins from Concord Mills.

Very low key stay. I wanted a night away to decompress and was able to do that. The hotel was quiet. Rooms were clean and spacious. Coffee bar was amazing and breakfast was good.

This hotel was overpriced for what it was. The room was updated but smelled musty. The room was not cleaned the entire time we were there (4 days). Breakfast seemed like it was rationed, our kiddo loves biscuits only 1 day out of 4 she was able to have any. There were homeless people right outside the front door. The hotel is right off of I-85 with constant traffic. Staff was okay. I can say we won’t be back and I would not recommend drive a lil further toward concord, we have stayed nicer, and cleaner hotels that way.

This hotel is good. It's not top of the line, but we had a good stay, the breakfast is decent, and the area is safe. It's right off the highway, so it you are on the highway side of the hotel, you can hear the cars. Also, even though the rooms have good air condition, everything seemed moist. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The stay at this hotel was Terrible! The place was under renovation during our stay, and no one at Expedia or the hotel forewarned me of the current state of things. I attempted to have someone on staff rectify the situation, but it was to no avail.

There was no sign or information that there is a major renovation ongoing. Half of our floor was under full on construction. Smell of paint and dust were everywhere. In addition there was dirt as if there isn’t cleaning staff available. I took photos for reference and can send. We are very unhappy with this stay and at the minimum should get a credit for the money we have spent.

Very poor quality bed. We did not sleep well because the bed frame is very poor quality. The bed is very squeaky. Even minor adjustments in sleeping positions result in loud noise. Very disappointed and very tired.

The location of the property was great. The area had a lot of different dining options and was very safe and quiet. The lobby had a strong chlorine smell which I assumed was from the pool. Our room had a strong mildew smell but we got in so late that we decided not to bother changing rooms and dealt with it for the night. Besides the smell, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel centered around everything we need while away from home including any type of desired eating and shopping for anything needed and wanted.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The one negative is that the door locks at a lot of the rooms are tricky and you have to make sure the doors closes properly when you leave the room.

The young lady that checked us in was perfect! She is professional, nice, kind, and very helpful. The establishment itself lacks updates, there were many soldiers there and the hotel ran out of eggs, and the carpet was old. Holiday Inn makes a lot of $$ and the location could be remodeled.

Biggest issue was the indoor pool was closed for work being done on it & we weren’t aware it would be or I would have booked elsewhere. There were other properties that were nicer but my daughter was excited to get to swim. The interior of the lobby and most of the first floor smelled of paint or some other chemicals.

The only thing unappealing was the ceiling in my room 410 above the AC unit. It's pealing and because of that makes you feel there has been a leak or something which gives you an uneasy feeling about mold.?.. However, I have alergies and did not have a problem. Room was very clean and on the upper scales as far as amenities. Definitely would stay there again. Also thank you for not spraying nice scents in the room that make me sick. I would give a 10 except for the ceiling.

Only 1 extremely slow elevator that felt like it hadn't been serviced in decades, bland breakfast(weirdest biscuits and gravy I ever tasted and seriously no bacon?), extremely uncomfortable mattress(felt like it old and in need of a change), and an treacherous tub to get in and out of(my wife hurt her knee just getting in the tub), even holding the bar to get in its like a slip and slide.
