This hotel reminds me of the showa period. Crown moldings in rooms, cherry rails on walls, dark stained wood. A throw back of staying in room of another period. It was cool. Breakfast is very good. Only 800Y including drinks. No laundry here

It's a two floor building but no elevator

Easily access to Kagoshimachuo Station. Very nice fireplace at the dining area and the interior of the hotel is old European style. There is no lift access since it is a very old building. There is not much space to open luggages.

Staff super nice, welcoming and helpful Location a 5 min walk from the station and many restaurants Really old rooms, dirty carpet and bed frame Room and bathroom seem to be 50 years old.. It was ok for one night but wouldn’t go back

Near to shuttle airport bus, train station and bus terminal. Shopping mall and eateries. Tourist Information very friendly Hotel too old and staircase. Elderly could not carry luggage to the room. Suggest hotel need to upgrade with lift

Super friendly staff, reception had the Kagoshima one day transport pass(CUTE) there for sale ( had to ask for it). breakfast was limited to mostly Japanese but it was very good. No knife's available. Best bed we have slept in whilst in japan. Situated within walking distance to kagoshima chuo and tram station. Price was ok. Took a while to find it, coming from the train station. Got our directional sense back again next day and it was easy then. Cleanliness is a bit hard to maintain in a building that old. There is no lift either. Bathroom was not very inviting in style and level of maintenance as well as cleanliness (mouldy grout etc.) Cigarette smoke evident near reception. Overall all old ( not antique just old) bed was repaired with nails. Probably wouldn't go there anymore mainly for the absence of the lift and the state of the bathroom

great location, few minutes from the central station with bus, light rail and train breakfast was good decoration and atmosphere are original staff was nice no elevator (only two floors)

My wife really liked the breakfast. The shampoo, body soap and conditioner in the bathroom were great. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a very nice heater. The decor of the furnishings and the hallways were very atmospheric and took us back in time. I would have preferred some other meat for breakfast. I don't like plain wieners very much. Sausages or bacon would have been a nice touch.
