The location was perfect and the bedding was clean and good quality. We ate dinner in the breakfast/lobby area one night and it was clean. Staff were ok. Not overly helpful or friendly but never rude or unfriendly. Just ok. The only "problem" was the bathroom in our room. We booked 2 rooms, one of the rooms had a horrible smell coming from the plumbing. It was like sulphur/rotten eggs/standing water. Not pleasant at all.

We will never stay here again. The place is run down. Initially we were placed in a handicap room, which I did not book. The hot water handle at the sink leaked, the faucet for the tub was about to fall off, the A/C made horrible noises. We were moved to another room the next night and it was cold. We turned the heat on and went to bed. Temp was even colder when we woke up. Told the front desk but no one ever came to repair the heat.

The location was good. It wasn’t clean, it seemed old and worn, the area wasn’t great and I didn’t feel safe.

Breakfast had to wait for eggs replacement for over 15 mins. Guest had to keep asking for replacing items. Instead staff keeps eyes on the items. Second had to move other room due next door had Two dogs kept barking for hours.

The room was clean, the AC one the second floor worked great (I have been there before for a stay where the room felt very humid on the first floor). The breakfast service during my stay was excellent and the employee running the breakfast area was very attentive. There were a few food items missing from the breakfast area but then later on in my stay the items appeared — looks like it was a shipment issue. I would stay there again despite the small discrepancies.

Did not eat breakfast. AC was great super cold room very clean but bathroom shower very outdated and dark. The vanity light over the sink was so dim like candle light. They need to upgrade bathroom fixtures and lighting! However it was quiet. The bed sheet did not fit well and kept sliding off the hard mattress. Otherwise not a bad stay.

The room was good but not worth the $250 a night. Room service was below average. Last day they didn't even come so I asked for towels, no apology, not comment on why they did not come. The breakfast was BAD. Eggs were runny, sausage was rubbery, potatoes were not hot, I was totally disappointed. The only thing that was consistent was the oatmeal. And their milk was not cold either. It was room temperature. I was totally disappointed. But the location was good. That's why this place is so expensive. The location.

The rooms need updating, and the pool needs to be replaced! they couldn't keep it full of water, level was below the filter, so stagnant water! couldn't swim 3 of the 5 days we were there! when we complained the staff said they were under new management and they wouldnt pay anyone to come out to fix the problem- which is just unacceptable! next time will stay elsewhere

The room had a horrible sewer smell that came from the pipes and the air conditioner! The toilet ran all night long… and the air conditionings fan didn’t go past low! So it was super quite and warm when I work up.

Wifi was decent, staff pleasant and friendly. Bed was rock hard, carpet everywhere. Bathroom was oddly set up, with sink outside of the main bathroom. Bathroom was also carpet which is odd. Hard to get in and out of parking lot due to curbing and shrubs/trees. Windows were not sound proof, you can everything outside.

The building itself is very damp. You feel it as soon as you enter the front door. They keep the check-in area very warm (we visited in late Sept). Upon entering my room I could feel the moisture and dampness in the air. I turned the AC on and started to unpack. At one point while changing shoes my foot rested on the carpet and I thought the carpet was wet, thats how damp it was in the room. Don't get me started on the sour smelling bed sheets and comforter. Thank God the towels didnt smell. I ended up using my own blanket because the smell was so strong and gross. Probably wont stay again.

Hotel review Water in rooms appears to be limited to availability based on other guests in other room, taking showers and/or flushing the toilet at the same time. My toilet would not flush until I could hear water stop running from a nearby unit this morning and my shower in the first night would not get hot, assuming this is due to all hot water being used by that point in the hotel. The tubs are VERY old and require reglazing, YET they are very deep as to provide an experience of a soak for its guests, but are so unsanitary (I found cracked glaze surface, pubic hairs, and mold inside the tub and under the mat that was put down to avoid slipping). The depth of the tub makes exiting a shower very difficult because the walls are so high. In other hotels, they would rise the floor around the tub for the rest of the bathroom so that entry and exit was not so dangerous. That has not been done here. There was blood on the curtains in TWO of the SEVEN rooms showed to me!!! The AC/heating unit in the rooms smell. The AC function smells like mildew; the heating option returns air that smells like either burnt plastic or mechanical oil smells. The bed has a mattress protector or pad on it under the sheet that was wrinkled and bunching up throughout the night as I tried to sleep. The nearby food options are absolutely abysmal, and the gym is incredibly small. no one had basic amenities to offer guests, such as umbrellas when it is raining all the

The room was very comfortable. Desk and chair were great. Bathtub had a bit of a slow drain (room 314 if that helps). Breakfast is always good at Fairfield - love the eggs with salsa and the coffee is top notch.

The location was perfect. It's right by the interstate. It's near a variety of stores and restaurants. It's 15min from the beach. The bed was not comfortable. The fitted sheet would not stay on. The bed was on some type of platform that was only in the middle. If you sat on one side of the bed it leaned like it was going to tip over. They have a small market for in-house purchases. While I expected the prices to be higher than normal, they are exorbitant.

Went to front desk and asked for a manager, the girl working had a personal phone in her face and didn't even put it down to talk to me. She informed me that there's no manager on the premises. Very sad and unprofessional operation

The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach, dining options and I95. However, the door lock didn’t work and my shower did not have hot water. Additionally, the condensation from the a/c unit soaked the carpet. There are better options available nearby.

Nice motel, clean, enough staff, very nice breakfast, whirlpool and pool clean. My only complaint was no hot water in my shower, but they gave me some extras without me even asking for anything.

This hotel is a bit dated looking but other than that, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and there was breakfast included. All in all, I feel like we would go back for another stay.

I hate to say it was a little smelly in our room. The people responsible knew it was smelly because after moving the curtain there was a deodorizer put near the ac/heating unit. We needed to be in that area so we bought a deodorizer and it was a little better.

The room wreaked of a baby powder odor. Behind the curtains there were multiple bottles of odor eliminator that were very potent. The shower was broken and very difficult turning on. We checked in at 1am and were checking out at 6:30 am. We were just needing a few hours of sleep after driving 16 hours.

King suite was nice but the pullout sofa for our 3rd person was very uncomfortable, felt the uneven coils so wound up sleeping on the closed sofa, also not very comfortable. The jacuzzi was out of service. The key to get in to the pool was not working, the key to the ladies restroom by the pool was not working and the mens room by the pool you couldn't lock from the inside.

We asked for a double handicap and got a Queen. My husband has ALS. Room was freezing cold as the ac heat didn't work and they couldn't fix it. It was cold outside and 68 in the room. Gave us an extra blanket. Really?? The toilet clanged every time we sat on it and got up. The top of the shower head was rusted. The furniture was old with worn areas. There was a large brown ant crawling on the nightstand. The breakfast room carpet and hallway carpets were filthy - seriously - filthy. The last time we stayed at this hotel, I had to make up my bed as the sheets and pillow cases were not changed from the last guests and there were black hairs on both. No concessions for that. WE will not be back and I won't give them a good rating. My husband could have got pneumonia! No other handicap room to move him too and a regular room didn't have handicap bars in the bathroom which he needs to get up and down out of his wheelchair and the toilet, shower chair. Fairfield Marriott? Not to Marriotts standards or ours.

Facilities are a bit old: rooms smell humidity, some beds are squeaky, breakfast is simple, Gym & Pool are very basic. During the holidays it was too pricey for what you actually get !

Its been 6 dats since my check out & a $50 charge is still pending on my credit card. The hotel front desk told me to contact my bank to have it removed, which I did, and was told the Hotel needs to release it...please take that charge off my credit card to avoid any interest charges. I was told it would be released on my check out day
