Overall was good , I just didn’t like the smell of humidity in the first floor (were I stayed smell really strong like mold and humidity mix with cleaning products, really hard to sleep with that odor .

The bed was actually relatively comfortable, but that was really it's only saving grace. Our room smelled like mildew. It was dark and everything just felt sticky like stale air.

I called to cancel reservation but due to them having no power couldn't find my reservation. Booking.com called 2 times asked for an exception but refused to refund me my money since they charged my card. I had called several times to have them resolve the issue

Next day at checkout. Assistant general manager stated she would not because he did not tell me that. Lie #1. Then it was she was not the owner only he could do that. Lie #2 . Then it was lie after lie. Finaly after 1 hr. of arguing with us she agreed. Do not stay here Staff is horrible!

The staff was great. However, upon entering my room and checking the bed the comforter looked like it was 20 years old. There were holes in it. I requested a different comforter There were housekeeping, and they appeased me with a new comforter. Also, the curtains were torn.

When I got there they said there was no pets allowed. But there's two Fairfield inns. One is South, one is North and the South one is not the one I booked at. The north one is the one I booked at. The South one accepts pets. The north one does not. They canceled my reservation. Needless to say I will never stay there ever!!

On the plus side, the breakfast was good. On the down side, the bed was too hard for me and there was a little mold in the shower. Otherwise it was a respectable hotel.

This hotel was a nice stay about an hour from downtown Chicago. It was in a decent area in Joliet, right off I-55. My fiancée and I stayed here while visiting the Indiana Dunes. The room was pretty good and the beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast had a really good selection and variety of items. The only downside to the breakfast was a carton of sour/spoiled chocolate milk that I had but that was the only negative thing I had with the breakfast. The hotel no longer has a hot tub so the photos are outdated. The pool did seem a bit cold while we were there and we didn’t stay in it for long. It’s not the fanciest hotel but it does great for a quick, weekend stay!

Reception was somewhat indifferent. Shower had black mold in a corner and the shower curtain had mold on it. The shower fixtures were difficult to operate. Room was a good size. Pillows were surprisingly comfortable.

The maid deactivated our cards at 9 am to clean the rooms. When we took them to the front desk we were informed it was "probably because we had our phones near them"... yep she said that about every key for both rooms. Had no answer when we said "what about the ones in back pockets or on the dresser" No apology was given. She would not admit they did it. Honestly she needs retrained because I will actively avoid staying at this location if that ia the attitude I get.

We liked the woman who was making and serving breakfast! Did not like that ice machine was out og order for the duration of our stay, and staff did nothing to solve it. Had to go to gas station near there for ice where I was approached by someone looking for gas money

My body got torn up while in my room by something biting me. Not sure if it was bedbugs or fleas, but little red bumps everywhere. The gym is so musty and mildewy that I could not work out in there and had to bring the weights into the pool area to exercise.

Overall the room was 3 stars, but the bathroom toilet seat was very loose. So that was annoying! The mini refrigerator had a noisy humming, so that was annoying as well. But the breakfast was good! So I took away 1 Star from the overall rating!

Amanda at the front desk was wonderful. She got check in a little bit early great place. Definitely stay there again.

Really nice hotel not to far from inwood park if you are in town for a Primetime Baseball Tournament.

I wanted a night at a hotel while in the area visiting family. I just wanted a quiet night, a comfortable bed, and a nice hot shower. This place gave me all of that. I will definitely stay again when I return to the area.

Your beds-mattress are old and needs to be replaced with extra firm mattresses. Toilet seat broken; maid refused to give me extra pillows on (Sunday. I guess I was interrupting her telephone conversation while she was working; I asked the front desk for extra pillows and she graciously bought them to the room; the room smelled like sewer as well.

Everyone was great and the property was clean. The only complaint I have is that the pillows were too soft and gave me no support for my head I used three and they went flat when I laid on them

Always stay here when i visit back home. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good gym, location, and the breakfast is always yummy.

The room stunk so bad that we had to open the window and turn the bathroom fan on and left for a few hours. Staff said it was the last room and said sorry for the inconvenience but did nothing to attempt to remedy situation.

The room was very clean. This is our second time staying there and we will return again.

Accommodate my meeds

The receptionist when we walked in was incredibly polite and smiley. Very welcoming environment. We were happy to see extended pool hours and had a very easy check in process.

Today started Spring Break. Kids were all over the property. Going to bed at 5:00 pm after a very long weekend, I was awakened at 2:00 am by kids one floor above me making so much noise and running in a room right above me that I was awakened and now I cannot go back to sleep.

Our keys did not work after we checked in. Elevator sounds like it’s going to drop you.

The hotel is ok, but dated and basic. The availability of a hot breakfast is nice, but the room was stuffy, and not well appointed.

Water in the shower was barely warm. They had me change rooms; the water was marginally warmer but the tub didn't drain properly. That said, the staff was very friendly, the room was very clean, and the free breakfast had a nice variety to it. I would probably not choose to stay here again.

The room we were given was much smaller than what we booked online. I had reserved an Executive Suite with a double pullout of 395 SF. This room was much smaller with a twin pullout sofa bed and the sofabed couldn't even be opened due to another chair being in the way. and when we were given another room the toilet hadn't been flushed and was full of toilet paper and bodily waste.

Breakfast improved from the last time I stayed there. Also added blackout curtains.

Outside of a room refrigerator that froze everything I put inside of it, everything else about the hotel was PERFECT! If this were the summer, I would be craving a popsicle anyway. Not so much in the winter...

My only negative we were there a week with no fresh up. (Suppose to come every other day) We went out to get towels, garbage bags etc. *Just fyi there are no balconies at this hotel even though its offered.*

Checking was fast, efficient and correct. All required things are available, clean and working! Shower is good. Rooms are OK.

Awesome stay, great staff, beautiful room, very clean. The entire Hotel is well taken care of. I was intown visiting family and it was great to have a place to come back and relax at. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay at!

The breakfast offered so many choices and the omelette was delicious, as well as the oatmeal. Staff was tolerant of my very active 4 & 5 yo. It was clean, the pool was warm , thinking of spending two days with my grandson over Christmas break😃

This place was disgusting! There was black mold in the bathroom along with a lot of mildew. I notified the front desk of the mold and mildew before leaving for work the very next morning. I can back at noon and nothing had been done about the issue. As I was packing my bag to leave and find another hotel, I noticed stains on the bottom sides of the sheets. This place should be shut down by the health department. See photos.

Didn't know what to think about the bottled water sitting in the room with the $5.00 price tags(?). Would definitely stay here again.

Me gusto bastante. El desayuno excelente. El personal agradable y servicial. La habitación muy buena . Me hubiese gustado la ducha fuera removible y que botaran la basura días alternos sin tener el huésped que pedirlo. Mi banco me indica cargaron $ 60.00 extra no estaban en mi conocimiento ya que no utizamis nada de lo que estaba en el cuarto como agua o productos de aseo personal. Nunca me informaron de dicho cargo.

The hotel was nice for the price. The room was clean, the hotel staff was friendly, and breakfast was tasty. There was a strong chlorine smell as soon as we entered the hotel. The pool was close by however the smell was very strong. Not sure if they just added more that day but it was very noticeable. Location was close to a gas station and walkable restaurants. I would stay again but I would ask for the 2nd floor so I wouldn't have to smell the pool.

We asked to have the room serviced each day. Out of 4 days this occurred only twice and on one of those we didn't receive fresh towels because we hadn't put them all on the floor, apparently. On two days the breakfast ran out of food when we got there a half hour before closing.

Priced too high

The garbage can at the entrance was so full, garbage wasl spilling on the ground. It was like that when we arrived and the same when we checked out a day later.

We had such a good time. Everything was comfortable and clean and people were friendly. The room was fantastic! Breakfast was very very good too!
