My only concern was the bath towels. They appeared freshly laundered and smelled clean, but several had visible stains. It may be time to replace them to match the otherwise high standard of the property. Aside from that, it was an excellent and enjoyable stay, and I would absolutely return.

The hotel's location is fantastic! The subway station and supermarket are just steps away, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was disappointing. I suggest providing bottled water to guest rooms daily instead of making guests request it at the front desk.

Breakfast is more than anything, though the room is quite small. Everything was clean and the room was nice also not noisy as most rooms in Manhattan! The Path Train is right outside the front door so the way to NYC was perfect. Would definitely come again! Big recommendation

Whole Foods is 2 streets away on Christopher Columbus Dr. Perfect to stock up on items to take in the hotel for your travels. The train station is next door on Marin BLVD with 13 minute access to Manhattan. Super convenient! Restaurants in Jersey City on Newport Ave I recommend are Two Boots, Orale, Mathew’s Food and Drink, Basile’s Pizza, Bang Cookies, Van Leeuwen, and Downtown Yogurt. Amazing! Beautiful ocean views about 6 blocks away from hotel with all of Manhattan Skyline as the view. The complimentary breakfast was great with an urban view of the city. Newport and Exchange place are close by with great amenities. Grove ST was very close by with shops and restaurants having beautiful Brownstone Walkups everywhere. Great mix of city and old world history charm. Had a great time! 10/10 This place will be the go-to anytime I’m in Jersey City!

Went on a 2 week trip to see NYC. This hotel was excellent. Everything from checking in to getting into the suite/room was easy and worry free. Staff was on point everyday and if we ever needed anything they took care of us (towels or room clean). Rooms were very nice and clean. I am picky where I stay and I found this place was a 10 out of 10. I chose this spot because it’s a Marriott and underneath the building is the Path station subway for easy access to the city and there is a large grocery store right next door for anything you would need on a trip. I found that the AC was a lifesaver for the trip (August)

Enjoyed our stay but the icing on top was John taking care of us for our son’s post wedding brunch. He made our event even more special and we are so grateful to have had his service, allowing us to relax and enjoy the family time. Thank you, John!

Child that sleep on the sofa complaint about air conditioning being too loud.

There is a wide variety of restaurants, bars, stores, and so much more within a square mile radius that you can go to. I had a wonderful time. I loved my stay here and will do it again.

The Front Desk staff and other staff members were very kind and helpful. The rooms were neat, clean.and very comfortable. Their complimentary breakfast is amazing! The hotel is also a great place to stay because it's in a perfect location. Various modes of transportation are literally right downstairs from the hotel. It's also just a few stops away from Manhattan on the path train. There is a wide variety of restaurants, bars, stores, and so much more within a square mile radius that you can go to. I had a wonderful time. I loved my stay here and will do it again.

Had a great experience during my stay. The General Manager, John Pascali, and associate Ty were exceptionally courteous and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The location is fantastic, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety. Overall, a very pleasant and memorable stay — highly recommended!

The room was clean and comfy enough. However, the room needs some new lighbulbs and all the outlets plugs change. I couldn't get my phone to fast charge at all. It's very important to me to be able to charge my phone fast 100% during vacation.

The complimentary breakfast area was too small for the number of hotel guests. There were never any seats available at the tables and one had to be on the hunt for a table to eat at. The food options were ok but the staff were over worked and could not keep up with the demand for refilling the food.

The breakfast was good, but not so much options. The location is great, coming out of the hotel is straight to the pathway to take metro to 9/11 or Time Square New York. It is also easy to move around the neighborhood. First, the fact i have to come down to the reception every day to get our daily water consumption is not cool. Second no concierge onsite, coming from the UAE, i was not expecting that, especially in the winter time, this is a normal basic service every hotels offers in the UAE. Third they need to change their window blinds, especially for the rooms facing the apartment across the road, it is way too transparent.

After a lot of research we decided on Residence Inn and it met all of our needs. Steps from Grove St. PATH making trips to NYC WTC and beyond a breeze and close to restaurants and other attractions. We will definitely go back to Residence Inn when visiting the area next time.

The only issue I had was the television. We had a hard time connecting to the internet. We were told to reach out to tech support which they could not help us. Thankfully, my husband is computer savvy and figured out how to connect the internet. The tv quality is not good at all. They have old television with poor picture quality.

The room was gorgeous and high-quality. We had a suite that included a full kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, sink, dishes, and living room space with a loveseat. It was excellent for the price point. The breakfast had a great selection, and the food was delicious. The staff was also lovely and helpful. The location was perfect, with excellent access to wonderful restaurants and activities very close by. It was super easy to get rideshare pickups very quickly. The only thing that I didn't like was the bed. The size was good but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable for my fiance and me.

Only downside was the breakfast. Small congested area for all of the food made it tough with bigger crowds at busier times. Not a deal breaker though…just an observation. Great location right next to path station. Parking garage just down the street was easy to find and reasonably priced. Also had a corner room with a great view! Room was perfectly clean. Will definitely stay here again!

The path train is right by the hotel which takes you straight to new york and a 24/7 grocery store! across the street is a pizza place that is super good with a bar and grill which was really fun ! Such a great hotel staying there again! Definitely recommend it

Beautiful well appointed room amazing staff clean great location to get anywhere in New Jersey and New York I was even able to get to Long Island fairly easy from the location I absolutely will be booking this hotel again my next trip to New Jersey

I definitely liked rhe uniqueness of the lil store wirh the alcohol and the fresh food and fruits and sushi bar that was definitely a unique experience...i didnt like the bathroom door didnt stay shut and for it being a handicap accessible the bathroom floor was soaked from the shower not very safe

Great staff who were cheerful and helpful. Let us check in early for no extra fee. Traveller with 2 teens. Washing machine and dryer room were a bonus when travelling for a while. Breakfast just okay but it was good to have it. Fantastic restaurants and bars around. Transport to NYC so easy using the PATH train directly at the hotel. You can walk 10 mins down the road to admire the city skyline. We walked there each night and it is very safe. Can recommend a stay here. We were so happy that we changed from a place in NYC to Jersey City. Only downside was that the sofa bed was uncomfortable as hell and the mattress was very thin. Other than that, we would definitely stay there again.

The room with kitchen facilities was ideal for our needs. The only downside was the inconsistency of bar opening times. Visited the bar only once, the bar staff were not particularly helpful and appears not wanting to be there, spent most of the time on mobile. For a bar with terrace in vibrant Jersey City you would have thought that they would have a good selection of cocktails, non available and the cost for two drinks was about $28 which was not competitive with other bars in the area. Very disappointing

All went well except the check out. Reception was less than interested in guests checking out that she leaves the area unattended - leaves the building to point out where to park when there is a valet person already helping out. She is also wearing something that is not very professional looking.

The property was very clean with excellent views. The only take away is the expensive parking that you are not aware of until you arrive. There is parking down the street in a deck for a cheaper fee. The walk isn't bad.

Perfect location very close to PATH train yo NY subway , easy to shopping walk street , perfect hotel.

Absolutely amazing customer service was A+++ shout out to April on the front desk. Will definitely recommend & come back. The room was A++++ had everything kitchen with all plates utensil & more. Beautiful thank u.
