The Westin Jekyll Island Beach Resort

The pool is very nice, staff across the whole property very attentive. We enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella included as well. So many amenities! We didnt eat on site, its not our cup of tea, but the food looked good and has great reviews. Overall a wonderful time and we will be sure to come back.

We didn’t have time to use the free bicycles, but we saw they are SUN Brand and our bikes at home are the same brand. They are Wonderful bikes to ride. Food in the dining room was excellent.

What a beautiful hotel location right in the beach village of Jekyll Island! Rooms were beautiful and very clean. There was a slight issue with our room temperature as the air condition did not work, but we were only there for one night and did not complain about it. However, we did mention during check out and they did over compensation for the inconvenience. Great staff! Would definitely return.

The floor was not clean, and I had to ask them to mop the floor. After mopping the floor, it was still dirty. The show did not work and had to ask them to fix it so I could take a shower. The area rug in the room was stained in more than one spot.

We had a very nice room overlooking the beach. The staff and customer service were outstanding! The hotel was beautifully decorated in a modern coastal look. We had a very quiet, relaxing stay. We'll definitely return and recommend to others.

The property is well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Andy (takes care of beach area) is a hard worker and kind person. We would definitely come back and Orion Golf carts was great to work with too!

Breakfast was good and our 5th floor room overlooking the beach was wonderful.

The rooms were impeccable and had such a fresh and clean smell. The staff were so friendly! The air conditioning inside was quite cold and we're from Vermont!

From the moment we arrived, the experience showed genuine promise — the valet team was warm and efficient, and Peggy at the front desk made check-in a breeze. Our ocean view room was clean and well-kept, and the beach service delivered by Andy was nothing short of extraordinary — the hardest-working hospitality professional I have encountered in years. These bright spots made the stay's shortcomings all the more frustrating, because the foundation for something truly special is clearly there. The bathroom was outdated and the deteriorating bathtub presented a genuine safety hazard — an unacceptable condition at any respectable property. The pool was noisy and unsanitary, the restaurant served a breakfast that arrived cold and inconsistent even after being remade and the dining room showed clear signs of a staffing crisis. Most egregiously, a known communications outage was never relayed to guests, leaving us stranded at the marina after fifteen unanswered calls—a failure of basic operational responsibility that is simply inexcusable.

(April 18) The shower tile had wet hair sticking to it at check in and the tub flooring looked uncleaned or could use a resurfacing I ordered room service and received the wrong order to be delivered 1/2 of what I ordered

Spacious room that is beautifully decorated. The hotel is well laid out with gorgeous seating areas indoors and outdoors with something for everyone. We loved our stay and look forward to returning!

Beautiful hotel right on the beach but also in a small village with shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. Our room looked out on the ocean. We will definitely return. Their main restaurant served good food but the wait time for service was long and overall management was lacking. We ate two meals there before I formed that opinion. There is a lot to do and see on Jekyll Island.

Fantastic facility - staff offers the top notch service ! Really felt you were on vacation. Location is great - easy access to beach. Service in breakfast dining area was a little slow. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table and there were plenty of empty tables - just not the proper staff level to support them

Willets restaurant in the hotel is the best option overall in my opinion, but it can be pricey. Fantastic location and great staff!!

Our room was ocean view. We could see the beach as well. From check in to check out this hotel went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic! Room was immaculate, hotel staff were superb, restaurants in the hotel were excellent. Bicycles were free to ride, water bottles were free. Would definitely recommend The Weston on Jekyll Island.

NO There was a roof covering our view, we could not see anything else but the roof. We were so disappointed with the entire stay. we were charged resort fees without any of their use. No one told us about the shuttle and we were struggling for transportation to and from the convention center for the entire weekend.

The staff was so helpful, they were really great. We were there in off season but they told us about events on the island, restaurants, always super nice, went through all the hotel amenities.

This place with the amber lights is just beautiful at night time there’s an outdoor fire pit with chairs the beds. This time were surprisingly much better than my previous day. I always anticipate the bed being horrible because the last few places I’ve stayed in the last couple of years they’ve been terrible, no matter how much the room cost.

No ice machine working on ANY of the floors. We asked for a room with ocean view and , yes, technically you could see the ocean, but had to be outside on porch at an angle. Otherwise you looked into someone else’s balcony. Kind of strange.

Very disappointed in the lounge, understaffed. Busy night but over an hour plus wait for a bowl of soup. We left to go to another restaurant but the Westin stilled charged us for the soup we never received. Will not stay again. Expected better from a Westin hotel.

He upgraded us to a stunning room overlooking the ocean with a balcony. The Westin saved their reputation for consistent quality and we will remain loyal customers. Otherwise nice calm beach and many local small restaurants on walk. Though place still need upgrade on food options to be a better beach destination. I felt best in the area was hotel restaurant itself. Many ev stations helped me as i travelled in ev car.

We started calling them at 11:30 and they said they would send someone right up. We actually had to ask them four times and it took four hours for someone to finally come. They kept saying they were sending someone right up every time we ask them. It was kind of absurd.

We have stayed here several times and always have a great time! We did have one night on our most recent stay where the A/C went out in the hotel- they were quick to make repairs and so kind during the process of this!

This trip was one of my favorites! The hotel staff was amazing and friendly. The facility was clean and conveniently located to food and shops. The service on the beach is a plus! So private and family oriented. My family will definitely return.

Elevator broken. Made things difficult. Did not like our partial ocean view room. Bathroom was not updated properly. Rusted hole on floor of shower. Old tile. Shampoo bottles glued to wall and one fell off on my foot. Food is great. Valet excellent. However pool too cold and filled with kids throwing balls so hard to safely use

Property clean, had to change room, no elevator just steps, then went to 4 floor near elevator. Desk said cheaper at desk same room 100 cheaper so we were over charged,,,,,,,,,,!

The room had a foul odor and the only thing that was due was bleach was put down the drain. The room service was terrible and the food was disgusting. The customer service was terrible I will never stay at this location.

We come here twice a year just to get away. The beach is awesome and it's right out the back door. The beach is like your own private place. 2 or 3 people are always out there and they are like 100 yards away from you.

It was a nice hotel. Love the pool area. Breakfast was good. Like sitting out and watching the waves. Nice room. Staff was nice.

Very nice location on Jekyll. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was accommodating, but you could tell food and bar areas were overwhelmed due to amount of guests. A few things were showing wear and tear from being oceanfront. Shower ceiling was pulling away from ceiling and metal rack under sink was rusted.

The hotel is a dream. Check in was seamless, parking was easy, and the bar was exactly what I needed after travel. My room is ocean front and so quiet. It feels like I’m the only one around. I highly recommend staying here.

Jekyll Island is a beautiful and peaceful island. The Westin has recently undergone renovations and sits next to a nice, small shopping area overlooking the ocean. A great value for such a nice hotel at such a reasonable rate.

This place was so nice!! Although it was very busy it was calm. They were so nice when I was the one who made the mistake and booked the wrong type of room. Although they couldn’t move us they sent me and my hubby a nice gift for our anniversary since I just mentioned why I wanted the special room. Everything we needed was taken care of!!

Very clean and fresh, facilities very well kept and amazing landscaping to rival any tropical paradice.

No gift shop or vending machines on property. We were actually told to go next door to another hotel to buy things. Can't uber eats because drivers don't want to pay the charge to come on island. Super inconvenient

It's a beautiful property and the front desk staff are very friendly. Unfortunately they charged me for valet parking for three nights when I only had it for one night and the fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night. If it weren't for those things I would have given it five stars

Excellent stay for the event we were attending at the nearby convention center. Extremely clean and very comfortable.

The room used for the party was better suited for just about anything other than a party with ~200 adults. What little seating they had was sofas that were very low to the ground. Most in the room were standing. The opening band were much better than the headliner.

We have stayed here many times over the years and have been very happy overall. Unfortunately, they did make a change with the restaurant recently and that was not a good decision as far was we’re concerned. We really enjoyed The Reserve dining experience and they have completely eliminated that and have replaced it with a very generic decor dining experience with absolutely the worst food I’ve ever had. We were very disappointed in this change and it will cause us to consider staying elsewhere next time we’re in the area. Change it back please!!!!

We stayed for one night during holiday travel. The hotel is wonderful. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoors much but the beach looked great. We must have gotten a recently renovated room. It was spacious clean and quiet. Front desk, valet and bar staff were helpful and friendly. We were disappointed with the restaurant though. The menu seemed out of season and overpriced ($5 for two pieces of toast?)The wait staff seemed unfamiliar with the menu and overall the food was just average. We would definitely return but look to eat elsewhere.

Very disappointed in dining options. Loved Reserve last year but not Willets this year.

The hotel was undergoing construction. They should have closed the floors they were working on. There was a terrible chemical smell, we had to walk through bare floors that had chemicals on them and they were working past 7 pm on Saturday evening and began laying floors down and banging at 8:30 am on a Sunday. This is all happening a few days before Christmas. Had we known they were undergoing renovations we would not have stayed there. We complained and they did comp us a dinner, however we would have much rather paid for the dinner and enjoyed our room.

We reserved an ocean front room but most of our view was obscured by a palm, was really partial ocean front. Woke to workers replacing the carpet in our hall. Not sure why this floor was not closed for this type of renovation.

I like the atmosphere and the great staff service during my stay. I did not like their pet friendly policy. I almost got bitten by one dog who walking to the lobby.

Everyone was helpful and making sure we had no complaints. It was directly on the beach and the village area.

Location is great! My one request would be to offer complimentary coffee every morning - not just on the weekend.

Staff and property was amazing. Made my stay very enjoyable.

The front desk was helpful to book our morning bike rides! Rone, I’m not sure his exact title, quite possibly the bellman manager, was FANTASTIC!! always a smile across his face and so happy to help guests. We enjoyed chatting with him every morning!! Fantastic hotel for any getaway, amazing views, and friendly staff!? What could be better!!

Not a bad place to stay although got in the shower washed my hair then found out there wasn't any liquid body wash.

Westin is always nice. However we stayed during a lot of renovations and things weren’t up to the usual standard of cleanliness.

Oceanfront room had nice view. Beds comfortable. Neither elevator worked to go down from 4th floor and had to take steps down. When reported they said it would be fixed tomorrow. Staff for the most part was nice. Waiters and bartenders were excellent. Ceiling in room had water damage from leaks and room was musty.

The restaurant, the staff, the lobby, the pool, the beach, the property were all as expected. My first visit to this island was a good one. It was a great two days.

The only reason that it didn’t receive 5 stars in every category was the construction on our floor. Without that all fives.

The rooms cost so much and not very up to date and then They charge you more fees on top of that. There were leaks in the ceilings and stains on the carpets. When I first got there they gave me the wrong room and I had to go back down to get it fixed. I will never stay here again. There was a nice hotel down the way that did not cost as much and it comes with breakfast.

The Westin is located at the beach and shopping is there also. Very walkable and pleasant

Overall amazing hotel and the staff was top notch. Amenities in the area were excellent and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a quiet getaway that’s off the beaten path.

It is a beautiful hotel and loved seeing the ocean and being able to walk around the village. All we needed was there. Exceptionally clean and comfortable - bed, chairs, desk. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Nice pool area. Loved the Starbucks cafe.

easy parking , shuttle available to take you wherever you would like to go on island must return to hotel by 10pm . beach behind hotel easy walk and nice lounge chairs with umbrellas. there is beach service for drinks n lunch . rooms nice, staff friendly. very accommodating for pets , walks follow the beachfront and dog waste bags/trash containers provided along walkway . walking distance to a few basic eateries . Negatives ; bell hop service lacking at check in , had to struggle with my bags , no complimentary water at check in, no complementary coffee in lobby . The restaurant menu is the worst I have ever seen . Only item worth ordering is a salad so Plan on dining somewhere else . The lunch menu at the pool area is not much better . Otherwise pleasant stay .

The location was excellent, beautiful beach and scenery. Did not like not having available the luggage carts. Had to ask front desk for one, she seemed put out that we didn't want a porter to help
