The room was fantastic. We used the pool, bikes, and workout facility. Mase at the front desk delivered exceptional service. The bike path nearby was very nice. It was a great stay.

The room was large with a separated bedroom and living area/kitchen. It was clean and well equipped. Everything worked except issues with the motorized window curtains. The staff were pleasant and helpful. the breakfast was average. The location was excellent - within walking distance to the beach and a retail shopping area. The island itself is beautiful and very peaceful .

as a 72 yr old woman, my opinion: everything was excellent, but: the door to our room was too heavy( unsafe for walker, or small child could be pinned in door. bathroom door, is sliding heavy barn style: if you hold the handle to close or open, you can whack fingers. unsafe for anyone, especially elderly and young child. this is serious issue and should be addressed.

Room was spacious and convenient. Close to the beach and the shops! Nice property ! Bathroom fixtures were a bit hard to use. A hand shower would be appreciated. Also, breakfast could have had more options and fruits in the menu.

A stay on Jekyll is always great! The staff and location were Awesome. Our bed and pillows were terrible. There was mold around the ceiling in the bathroom and also some kind of bug (small black) hanging out in the shower.

This hotel is centrally located, convenient to shopping, restaurants, the bike trail, and beach. Parking is plentiful. Breakfast is good, and coffee is excellent! The rooms are very large and comfortable. The hot tub was hot, but the pool a little chilly early in the season. The staff did a good job with pool chemicals and cleanliness.

Always a great stay

The breakfast was amazing. The pool did have some toilet paper in it in the evening but was cleaned out the next morning and the kids enjoyed the pool after for the rest of the day. As well as me. The hot tub was amazing, and we used the grill too. The cabanas could use a little cleaning on the seats, but still comfy. Room was immaculate.. but we did find a dirty used spoon in my fridge. But overall I’d book there again. Staff was amazing and accommodating

The location was very nice. Convenient to anything needed. The room was very spacious and relatively comfortable. Staff were very pleasant, courteous, and helpful. I even heard one staff member call a guest by name. Nice! The beds should have had memory foam mattresses. Instead, they were a bit to hard for my taste. Also, the water pressure in the faucets was VERY poor...barely a drizzle. That needs immediate attention. The breakfast had many options, but most of the meat patties, such as the turkey sausage patties, were a blended paste shaped into patties and spray painted to resemble a real sausage patty. They were horrible. The chicken tenders were edible, but were hard and dry. The potato wedges were hard and chewy on the outside and grainy and dry on the inside. Breakfast was an overall disaster. The only two menu items that were really good was the waffle (although you had to cook it yourself) and the coffee. Both were great.

Very nice facility felt clean and well maintained. As the most affordable property I found in the area, I was pleasantly surprised. My only gripe would be that the (East facing) window shade did not close all the way, leaving about an 8 inch gap for the sun to beam in when it rose.

Cute and clean pet friendly hotel in Jekyll Island. The staff was very friendly, especially Mase. He gave us good food and sightseeing recommendations. Parking was plentiful and we were less than 10 minutes from Driftwood Beach. I would stay again and bring my 4 legged friend with me.

Great hotel for the price and area, breakfast was minimal but good for kids. The room was clean and tidy, full fridge and freezer which is nice for long term. I recommend stopping at a grocery store before getting to the island to cook or have premade meals. Parking can be tight after 9pm but we managed to find a spot. Very family friendly

Almost everything. Dogs. Isn’t there a health code regarding dogs in an eating area….on the floor, on the customer’s lap, on the table??? On our way out of the hotel another dog threw up on the carpet in front of the registration desk and the owners kept walking. Can’t you require dog owners to use side exits and keep them out of the common areas?

The room had a sewing kit left on the windowsill that was very obvious. The garbage disposals need cleaned regularly as I dropped something in there and it was full of a black sediment. Room was adequate but location was great.

The complimentary breakfast was nice as well as the available coffee throughout. The room was a good size and clean. The bathroom was rather small and the house cleaning could have done a better job cleaning the bathroom inbetween.

Location and proximity to beach and attraction The room we stayed had electrical problem the entire stay and made our experience as horrible one. I will escalate this on social media and I want my entire money back or compensation for making my family trip a horrible experience because of the problem the hotel had pertaining to our room.

Nice location to both walk to the beach and walk to restaurants. Hotel staff very helpful and the rooms were large and had everything we needed to do simple meals in the room. Lots of breakfast options and seating in the lobby. Easy access to ride bikes on the trails.

The location was good. The staff was rude! I received the wrong room key and a man was laying across the bed. It was very uncomfortable and the staff did not take responsibility. I was offered a refund to leave in the middle of my conference!!! Very unpleasant feeling!!! I was left with severe anxiety and now have a therapy appointment! I could had been assaulted or killed!

Great location and proximity to convention center. Bedrooms need curtains. The shades add privacy but do not block outside light. Breakfast choices were less than desirable.

Close to restaurants and we did get an ocean view room which was nice The bed was rock hard. I felt like we would have been better off sleeping on the floor. :(

Our week stay was great! The room was very clean and so was the rest of the hotel. The breakfast is really good (they should add scrabbled eggs/bacon and it would be perfect). The pool is so nice and very clean!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in one of the suites. We had plenty of space to be able to relax. Mase, the night desk attendant, was fantastic. He remembered our names throughout our stay and was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is good, staff was super nice. Bed was not very good. We put items in the refrigerator for the overnight, we got up the next day and there was no power to the refrigerator we have to throw out all out cold food.

The fire pit was broken. In the room there was a standing lamp in the way of the curtain partition and the shade would fall off each time we would close the partition curtain. Breakfast started at 7 instead of 6am. We asked for a later check out and could not get it.

They advertise their great breakfast all through the hotel. With more than 40 minutes left they had run out of eggs, bacon, biscuits, some cheeses and other items. I let them know at the front desk but no satisfaction.

We’ve stayed here several times, a last stop on our transit from Maine to Florida. Hotel is always welcoming, clean, good food options nearby, and wonderful to walk on the beach. Our large room has everything we need, breakfast is exceptional. Highly recommend!

Staff was very friendly, room was clean and spacious, common area inside and outside had nice seating. The couch in the inside commons area was surprisingly comfortable. Only negative was the barn door for the bathroom as it reduces privacy but overall, wonderful stay. Perfect location and walking distance to Beach Village and to the beach itself.

Carpet needs cleaning badly. No one told us about room cleaning every other day! Mold on window shades by the balcony. The couch very uncomfortable.

Rooms Very nice contemporary decor. Liked the carpet, furniture and the sofa that was chosen for the rooms. Also like that the room included a kitchen and is large for a family. Parking While some hotels are greedy and charge guests each day for parking (think Miami) I was happy to see that the parking is free. Location The hotel being located on Jekyll Island with other hotels and near a clean beach was another + for us. Dislikes Price is high at almost $200 & up for one night. Travelocity stated that the room could be paid for at the hotel yet the front desk employee (Brandon) decided to try and hit my card for the payment several hours before my arrival at the hotel.....then proceeded to call my phone at least 6 times from the front desk when the payment didn't go through. How do I know that Brandon called my phone at least 6 times.....he was standing at the front desk on the phone calling me as I walked into the lobby with my phone ringing. Asked him if he is the person calling and he said yes. When the policy is the room to be paid for upon arrival there's no reason for hotel employees to charge the customer card before they arrive or stalk the customer with phone calls. Jekyll Island location While the hotel being located directly on Jekyll Island was a + the surprise of arriving to the island at a toll and seeing that we needed to pay $10-$15 every day is VERY DECEPTIVE! This needs to be stopped immediately..... Breakfast AWFUL!

Great Place! We were there for Labor Day Weekend. The staff is friendly, the property is clean and is at a walkable distance to the beach. The only thing is that the ocean view balcony does not have a direct view of the ocean as the property is not near the beach. It is a little bit inside, you would have to walk to the ocean. The property also rents bikes.

Family friendly hotel close to everything you need in Jekyll. The kids loved the pool. We loved the availability of the small kitchen in the room. Clean shower and beds. Good breakfast. My biggest complaint is how incredibly loud the refrigerator in our room was. It kept me up most of the night who CB, of course, affected the next day’s enjoyment of the island. I probably won’t book again due to this.

Hot tub wasn’t working

Was a great place to stay. Would have gave 5 stars for everything but the hot tub was not functioning correctly and was not hot. I believe they said a part was ordered for it.

Overall, the hotel was clean and well maintained. The rooms are just a tad sterile. The bed was firm but not kind to backs. Lol. The couch was hard and not inviting to sit on for extended periods.

The front desk staff who covers the shift between 3 pm to 11 pm is a great staff !! Very professional and friendly! I am sorry O didn’t memorize his name ! He’s just amazing!!

When I walked in, Brandon the night attendant didn’t greet me at all. Ok next day, A different attendant wasn’t friendly at all. 3 months ago I had such a good experience.I will not return to this property ever again!! Need to bring back the old staff members.This vacation was a bad experience for me and my friends I brought with me

Room smelled like seafood. We stayed right beside the housekeeping room and about seven in the morning the door would slam every five minutes.

I was surprised at how nice this place is. We will definitely be booking again. Right next to the beach and all the shops and cheaper than the neighboring hotel. Would recommend this to anyone.

Everyone was kind and helpful.

We liked the pool, breakfast bar, laundry facilities and proximity to the beach. Lots of dogs in the hotel which was no issue to us, but might be for some. The set up in the king size suite was perfect for us; we didn't want to fight crowds on the 4th to eat out with two kids in tow so we went to Publix in Brunswick and got everything we needed for a eat in celebration. The fridge held all our food and the table, dishwater and dishwasher made it all easy. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach to watch fireworks.

Just what I was looking for.

The front desk staff was great, even remembered my name after 3 days. The only thing that happened, on the first night I called the front desk to have my room phone fixed. The front desk could hear me, but I couldn’t hear them. They said they would send maintenance. By the third day the phone still wasn’t fixed. I wish they had a restaurant.

We always have a good time on Jekyll Island and with Home 2 Suites. This time our room felt sticky. Floors and general surfaces all felt humid all the time. The room AC was set very cool when we arrived so we adjusted a bit. However, room just felt not up to the usual standard

My stay was not bad until the property started doing tile cleaning in each room. There was equipment everywhere, and we could barely walk through the halls. Not to mention all the loud noise from this. They definitely need to schedule this around the guests. Other than that, my stay was fine.

Amazing place to visit. we were very relaxed and the property is beautiful. Everything in walking distance the tours were incredible.

In the hotel, they had big pipes running in the hallways. They look like they were trying to fix like a water issue or something, and there was water always all over the floor. The staff was really friendly though, but the conditions and everything was poor the railing and the shower just fell off because the glue let go.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this perfectly situated hotel, just minutes walking distance from shops, beachfront restaurants, and beautiful sand dunes leading to a picturesque beach. This spot is a 5-minute drive from any of the gorgeous Jekyll Island beaches, and is dog friendly, which was a great added benefit. We will definitely be returning!

Spend Father’s Day weekend here, stay was overall good and we enjoyed the breakfast! The pool is probably my favorite thing about this hotel! Only complaint I have but we made it work is the room lay out and size! Not a fan of the bathroom sliding door that didn’t lock

Overall we had a great stay. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Pool was nice, could use someone to run around and pick up garbage around the pool and would hve been nice to have some shade around the pool. Overall grest stay and liked to breakfast in the morning!

Everyone and everything was great

We came in at 2pm and was told our room wouldn't be ready till after 3:00 pm. However, we were able to use the pool area until our room became available which was nice.When we first checked in we had some issues, the TV in living room was not working properly and the hair dryer Plug was broken. They remedied the situation right away. We got back late went straight to bed the next morning I woke up and found a used q-tip and what looked like dog hair in my bed. I called down and requested our bed sheets be changed and was mortified at the thought that our sheets were not changed during the last checkout service. While we were out they came and changed all bedding but did not do a light service. On Sunday woke up to find a small dead roach by the bathroom door. Was not a big deal because whatever spray they used actually killed the roach so I was okay, we're in Florida after all. Breakfast is phenomenal, offering a variety of food. The hotel itself is in good condition, outside area was nice and within walking distance to eateries and shopping. Overall, the stay was great except for the bedsheet incident.

Property and staff were amazing. Continental breakfast was great. Our only complaints were for the room itself - we didn't love that there wasn't a lock for the bathroom door (it was a slide door). I know, we're with family, but sometimes you just want some privacy! There also wasn't a safe for the room. One more minor inconvenience - I got in the shower and went to wash my hair, but there was no shampoo in the pump bottle. Other than that, we did enjoy ourselves. Our boys loved the pool!

Very friendly and helpful staff. All around great stay. Located in the heart of Jekyll Island village. If I had to give any improvement feedback it would just be better mattresses.

Started off well, the front desk made sure we weren't by the elevator or ice machine. Room was large and appeared clean. Checked the sheets and they were covered in hair, they had not been changed. Front desk moved us rooms and put us right in front of the elevator and ice machine (form of punishment?). Sheets were clean but floors were not. I always wonder since we book through hotels if they give us their worst rooms. Breakfast was good but dining room was filthy and not being cleaned as people were eating. Nice location with nice pool area but would not stay here again.

We had a nice time at Home2Suites. We loved the location, was able to bike and walk to many locations very easy, including the beach! Room was spacious but I don’t think the thermostat worked very well, it didn’t get very cool even when it said it was low. Breakfast was just okay, nothing too exciting but we were still happy to have it. Staff was great, very friendly. Gym was also spacious and perfect amount of equipment for a hotel work out. Overall, would come again!

Very nice, newly renovated hotel steps from the beach. Great pool area and hot tub. Breakfast was pretty typical free hotel breakfast and super packed (hotel near capacity). Family liked the breaded chicken for making chicken biscuits. Very nice and helpful staff. 4.5 out of 5 for cleanliness - pull out bed had food and stains on mattress pad, and the shower door needs some attention. Rest of room sparkling. We appreciated having a stack of extra towels in all sizes so we didnt have to ask for more. Don't forget your beach towels! Hotel provides towels for pool only. We would stay here again.

Great location to walk to beach or restaurants and dining. The beds were not the most comfortable but overall good value for a quick overnight pit stop stay. Home 2 suites are always a good choice no matter where we stay.

Rooms were very well cleaned and all necessary amenities were nicely attended to. The front manager Kayley was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Especially given the challenges these two days of the inconvenience of having their parking lots painted and striped. Breakfast quality was outstanding!

It was very nice having a mini kitchen available with a microwave and refrigerator. My only complaint was the bathroom was super large enough for 4 people to be in at one time.

Could not have been better! Great location. Beautiful hotel. Extra clean. Loved the big, bright White, towels of which there were plenty. Lady at the desk was very helpful. Plenty of parking. Great cleaning service, comfortable beds, great shower, and loved the shampoo, soap and condition!!!!

Staff was great from front desk to kitchen and cleaning. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, laundrette and gym. Breakfast buffet changes daily.

Excellent for work and family. Beautiful beach

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only bad part of the stay was that breakfast was pretty awful. The waffles were good, but that’s as far as it goes. There were no eggs, the turkey sausage was rubbery, and the yogurt Tasted spoiled.

I had a great stay. The hotel is clean, the staff very friendly and nice. My only complaint is that the hallways are too dark.
