Very unique and super cool hotel. Best I’ve stayed at in Jakarta. Loved it. Highly recommend.

The hotel is exquisite. So beautiful, unique and enchanting. The furniture is beautiful. The place is full of treasures, beautiful spaces and details. The ambience is serene. Pools are beautiful… one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Staff were all delightful and friendly. Nothing.

It seemed like it was so hectic for staffs. Stayed for 5 days and even on day 4 it seemed like they still had no idea that our room had deposit put in. Also even when you called in room dining it will go to receptionist which is confusing. What you can get from the pool area (on the 5th floor) is not the same with in room dining and you have to specifically ask for it. Staffs don’t seem to understand English very well. Some don’t even know what coffee means.

Very good to sit outside at breakfast. Great range of dishes. The Library Bar is one of the best bars in Asia - so peaceful and a lovely place to sit with friends and have a conversation. There should be a full length mirror in each room, maybe behind the door. Also, the fabulous Library Bar was closed for TWO DAYS AND NIGHTS during my stay due to a 'private function' like a wedding or something. Ok, if a hotel is going to deny hotel patrons use of the Library Bar, at least lower the cost of the accommodation as we are not getting all the benefits of staying. I stayed with my friend from Japan. I insisted we stay at the Orient because of the Library Bar and imagine my disappointment that we could only access it on the final day of our stay, after 10 am. WHY COULDN'T THE BAR OPEN AFTER THE WEDDING FUNCTIONS? It is such a marvelous place, it really should be offered from 1000 to 0100, in line with the facilities of a good international 5 star hotel? I have stayed in many top class 5 star international hotels, and do not appreciate it when hotel management want it all their own way and do not care to consider the customers. If I ran the hotel, I would slash the price of accommodation because the Library Bar wasn't open, or would offer free drinks in one of the other bars, or open the Library Bar on extended hours AFTER the wedding. Actually there's so many things that could have been done, but the one thing you should NOT do is say to hotel guests "sorry, the Library Bar will be closed for 2 full days and nights during your stay". Whoa!!!!! Not on!!!

The hotel is great! From the decor, to the spa, the food and most of all the staff. They are welcoming and always ready to assist you with a smile. I want to thank Richard and his team for the wonderful service they provided to me on this trip. I had flight issues and they looked into it and helped me resolve the issue. I also like the vibe. The restaurant and the rooftop provide great food and view. Absolutely nothing.

Wow! This place is insanely cool. 100% would stay again if in Jakarta. Nothing.

Beautifully designed Hotel. Fantastic breakfast very welcoming staff lovely views from a high level room. Also, the two pools are beautiful. Even on a high floor you can hear the street noise but it was not horrible.

Unbelievable Hotel! The decor is on another level. As soon as you walk in you just say wow. Breakfast is amazing, Walking distance to some local markets. The view from the 25 floor was OMG, you can see the whole city. Best hotel i have stayed at in a city in a long time. nothing,

For a 5-star hotel and the room we booked is very spacious BUT LACKING the following: desk table, trash can for the main bedroom (only in the bathroom), there is NO body mirror, you can't switch your night lamp separate from the main lights of the bedroom.

I loved the hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing and very helpful. The food was good and the spa services were also amazing. I will come back to this hotel. It is luxe! Absolutely nothing!

What a wonderful hotel with kind staff and beautifully decorated rooms, fantastic spa, good location to get around to malls and shopping. Front desk also helped set up the airport pickup and drop off and booking tours. Really loved the waterfall shower and the amazing pool with a view. Nothing I didn’t like.

The concept is very aesthetic. Some of them are perfectly match, especially for the cafe and the rooftop bar. We really enjoy spending our time there. The pools were nice, they also have the hot water pool. Very relaxing after swimming. The staffs were very helpful and listened very well. Special thanks to Maudy in F&B Team, for cheering my son with some strawberries before flight back to our home. The room is too aesthetic. So it is almost no privacy for the bathroom. You can almost see who’s taking shower from the sofa. The shower has no handle, and the rain shower is very high. Also the toilet is separate way too far with the shower. Again, too aesthetic for me. The total let down is for the housekeeping team that cleaned our room. They removed 3 bath towels and didn’t replace it with anything. After we asked for the towels, they only brought 2. So I have to ask again. This makes me question for your service standards, as you claim that this is a five stars hotel. Hope this will never happen to your other guests.

Breakfast was only until 10, and with a jetlag we often had to rush a little. We also missed the option to have cosy lighting in the room, all was quite hard, cold and bright.

Wow. What a beautiful hotel - design definitely makes an amazing first impression - wood carvings, bits of history and culture, just unbelievable. Two pools, many restaurants, spa, rooftop restaurant/pool/hot-tub has fantastic views of the city. Restaurants have both western/European and Indonesian dishes. Breakfast was out of this world combining both western and asian variety options - especially I liked health juice shots station with descriptions of health benefits (ginger root etc); one day there was an additional station offering Indonesian specialties. Prices at the restaurant and spa were much cheaper than what we got used to at this hotel level. We spent 3 nights in the hotel without getting out due to the external circumstances, and we had a great time. Staff and service deserves a separate mentioning - incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Given the current economic challenges and unemployment in the country, great to see this hotel giving job opportunities to so many staff members, there is a person on every corner of the hotel.
