    -room door had been busted in by police at least a couple times. This was evident by the multiple drill holes and incomplete locking hardware (see photos) -bathroom only had a light IN the shower. The actual light above the sink has wires hanging out, it was non functioning and the light cover was under the sink catching water pouring out from a leaky pipe! -tv, refrigerator AND microwave are all located in the same area where the only accessible outlet was, so you can only run 2 appliances at a time. We moved the microwave to the bathroom- -there were no blankets, only 1 sheet on each bed -no tv remove (front desk employee was kind enough to bring one up- she had to come twice because the first remote didn’t work) -I could go in but you get the point. I should have expected it given the rate, hotel name and locked/closed office at 7pm with an open leaking ceiling above the overnight window where I waited for an employee to return. Smelled of mold too Just no ! Would have been more comfortable in my car at a rest area.

    We had to book a room last minute while traveling. The front desk clerk didnt show up for over 30 minutes for check in. The room was dirty, no mini fridge, bathroom door wouldn't close, moldy ac, the cheapest spring mattress you can imagine. People constantly beating on doors, walls, etc. The room next to me was rearranging furniture all night long. It was absolutely abysmal. Got 3 maybe 4 hours of sleep and decided to just keep driving. Would not recommend to anyone.

    The place is super ran down, dirty and filled with drug addicts, and possibly women of the night if you know what I mean. The first room they checked us into was wide open, thrashed on the inside, phone ripped out of the wall just to name a few things. Finally they got us in another room, but the key didn't work until the desk lady came and helped. I will say that she was outstanding, and that she seemed to be handling all of the complaints very well. I wouldn't safe it is unsafe, but sketchy for sure. I've stayed at a lot of Motel 6 over the last 30 years,and this is one of the worst I've seen

    This place was gross. There was hair everywhere, floor and shower was nasty. There were 2 fights out front in my 10 hour stay. Everyone on the property was smoking weed, the no smoking room reeked of cigarettes. If you value your safety and the safety of your vehicle I would NOT stay here. It’s not worth the extra couple bucks.

    The manager of the property had a horrible attitude and was constantly screaming at people and complaining about white people. She was constantly harassing a disabled woman who stayed there. She screamed at some guests that they could not be on the balcony and some were juat leaving their room when she screamed at them to stay inside. The employees also seemed very frightened whenever she was around and that is very concerning. The manager is not a salvagable employee. If her behavior continues she will end up provoking someone to have a negative reaction and your company would be liable. That kind of behavior cannot be corrected. I think you need to sp3ak to the employees under her charge and see how they feel of they aren't too afraid to speak up. You can check your cameras to see how far away she was when screaming at whomever...it happened all day long.

    The first room give was to be non - smoking but had previous guest which had smoked in the room. there was no comforter and the sheets had cigarette burn holes in the sheets. Spoke to the front desk and she did change the room and it was like nite and day. During the night there was loud bagging on the doors and guest opening and closing the doors all nite long on either side of me, was very unsafe.

Before I made the reservation I called and verified that the pool was opened and the lady said “yes” but after arriving and paying for the room the staff tells me the pool “isn’t opened” not to mention the room was gross with mold and dust everywhere! My daughter has severe allergies so the room wouldn’t work. When I asked for a refund due to us not being to stay there she refused. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

    The staff was amazing. Ownership needs to stop being so cheap and invest in the upgrades like other Motel 6. Just because the rates are low, doesn’t mean you can’t provide a clean modern safe space. Overall, it was just gross. The room smelled like cigarettes and the toilet seat was loose and everything was just dingy and dirty and it’s because management and ownership refused to spend any money on improvements or upgrade.

    Even though the policy states that pets stay free I was told AFTER checking in at 8 pm that cats are not allowed. Although I couldn't really afford to, I had to find another place to stay extremely short notice. I wouldn't usually leave a negative review even with a negative experience, but it gets worse. I'm still awaiting a refund. I haven't received any indication that a refund has been processed. When I call they say they're waiting on Expedia. But, expedia isn't giving me a refund because I was checked in and told I couldn't stay. The front desk person didn't cancel my reservation. So, Expedia thinks I stayed there even though I wasn't allowed to. I thought it was the policy of Motel 6 to allow pets to stay for free. Now, I can't even get refunded my money I paid to stay there.

    The property was covered with trash. There was an empty beer can sitting on the steps for the whole weekend that the cleaning staff conveniently walked over my entire stay there. There was an empty Steak ‘n Shake bag in the parking lot that also sat there and no one bothered to pick it up. I am also not sure why they block off the two parking spaces in front of the office. The manager also parks her car in a way to block people from parking in those two spots. I waited over 45 minutes just to check in because the staff locked the door with a sign that says be right back. She didn’t come back until over 45 mins later. The rooms weren’t clean properly and the floors had a slight stickiness to them and the room smelled like cigarette smoke. On my second day the manager opened my room and tried to walk in, aggressively asking me if I was leaving. I had paid for two nights but whoever checked me in only had me down for one night. She made me come all the way down to the front desk to confirm my reservation for two nights. It was a huge inconvenience and slightly shocking to have someone open my door and just try to walk in.

They honor requests for not only the room type needed, but also a particular room weve requested. They've understood the importance & necessity to us of being able to clearly see and easily access our vehicle. Also they've been kind in extending our check out times & then allowing us the time we need to pack our vehicle, never rushing us out of the parking lot.

    A poorly staffed front desk! And, the room that I was given was absolutely awful!! In fact, there were several cockroaches and I went to the front desk to report this and they told me that that particular room never reported cockroaches. In other words they've got problems there. I tried to call Expedia last night but couldn't get a response. I asked the front desk for a refund since I was leaving. But, they told me that I would have to go through Expedia. I use Expedia a lot and I would like a refund for this room last night. After I left, I still needed a place to stay and I drove about an hour and a half towards my destination and found another room at the Clarion Inn in Ormond Beach. Please contact me regarding this issue thank you

    It was a place to stay. It had a comfortable beds and good tv, but it definitely needed some tlc. The building/rooms were really just kind of run down. A freah coat of paint would go a long way with upgrading this motel6. Would I stay there again? Yes probably if I wanted to save money again, but it won't be my first choice in the future.

    I booked the delux double bed room. There was no microwave and the fridge didnt work. There was black mold in the room it looked as if they started remodeling it there was a patch that wasnt painted over and the sheetrock was covered in black mold . The tv was about the size of my phone and the room was about the size of a shoebox. Ive stayed in motel 6s from Washington state to fl and everwhere in-between. And this was by far the worst on ever especially for the area it was in. Sad to say i wont be booking with motel 6 again.

    I asked for a Queen bed and kitchenette and was told I booked the wrong room even after calling and making sure before hand.     The person who checked me in was nice. The hotel is in a good location with restaurants and stores in walking distance. The property is run down. The room was in bad shape but that was almost expected. The pungent cigarette smell and the bugs were unexpected.     There wasnt anything to like staff was horrible, they take your money and kick you out without refund. Trust passers allowed to come and harrass guess random knocking on doors in the middle of the night by junkies. Security guard harrass tenants for standoutside their doors during holiday ex: 4th of july to see fire work. Over all I wouldnt recoomend anyone to stay at this motel the service and people that work there are very unprofessional and the environment and people they allow on property all day and night isn't safe especially if you have kids.There are alot of junkies and addicts roaming around the parking lot day and night its just a very unsafe and unkept environment. Do not rent here if you care about the safety of yourself and definitely your children.

    The placement of the property was convenient however it was filthy. There were cockroaches in the room, they have you bring your towels to be rewashed and they don’t provide replacements until your same towels are cleaned. It took three days for us to get our clean towels back after continuously checking on them. There was one nice employee and she was there only one of the days. The card reader in the door did not work properly and we had to keep getting cards rematched to the door. The pool was in working order but filthy to the point where we used it once.

    I stayed there for quite some time the staff is very easy to work with pleasant and had no issues in the time I was there rooms are done tastefully clean they have security on the parking lot in the evenings there is shopping very close good places to eat and for the price probably the best choice in the area

After 45 mins of waiting in line I was told the only room they had was a smoking room, but surprisingly it doesn’t smell. After checking the room myself, it was horrible. The room smelled awful. I returned to the front desk to be met with another long line. Informed the front desk we could not stay and requested a cancellation of our reservation. When I tried to rebook another room at another hotel, I was made aware that I would have to contact the hotels customer service department in order to be refunded. I put in a complaint and was told they would issue a refund. It was a horrible experience from start to finish. I also had just stayed at another motel 6 days before in Chattanooga TN. This one was very clean and pleasant. It’s not the hotel chain, it’s the staff that run the hotel.

The so called Front desk area is a disaster .I went up to my assigned room and i checked the bathroom , the was no bathroom tissue ( imagine an emergency) you know what I mean ... I went down to the front desk and told the person in charge ,then she handed roll to me and said " I am sorry for the inconvenient situation " ... That is unacceptable .The window curtain hanging on one side , people outside could see inside. There was no hot water for the sink , .They say it was no smoking ,oh boy ! the room smells like a designated smoking area . i will NEVER recommend that place anyone .

    It was very memorable and honestly I wouldn’t have had it any other way. My ratings are honest but do not reflect my personal enjoyment of my stay. The constant smell of marijuana, the unsafe feeling my girlfriend got from some of the other guests, the personal fear that wearing my Jordan’s might get me robbed, the cops being called to the property or nearby properties… it all made a really unique experience, and one I will cherish, truly. This place made my spring break memorable and fantastic. The staff was pretty good too! I would not recommend this location to a single, female traveler, or maybe even a small group of females. I also would not reccomend this location for a small, single male traveler (especially if they’re not strapped). But if you’re a broke group of college students on spring break… enjoy it!

    There were no elevators and I had a ton of stuff to bring up to my room. Whenever I arrived at my room it was hot and the AC was not working because all of the buttons were damaged and I had to get a different room. Whenever I moved over to the other room one of the beds was super wonky, the other one was thankfully okay and comfortable. And you could not use the sink at all without getting water everywhere because there was no filter to even out the water pressure. I will say that the staff tried to accommodate in every way they could given what they had to work with.

    This was the worst accommodation I have ever experienced in Florida. The lobby itself was horrible and felt like a prison entry point. The room itself was filthy, decrepit, smelly and had blood stained sheets. We refused to stay in it, voiced our complaints, and were refused a refund. We left immediately. Expedia, you need to do better!

    The price was right, but the room was not. As soon as I opened the door to enter, I saw half of the drape sagging loosely and unhooked from the drapery rod. When I couldn't get hot water from the bathroom sink, I attempted to get water from the faucet in the bathtub right next to it--not knowing the handheld shower was aimed directly at me. I got soaked and now there was a puddle on the floor. When I took a shower this morning, I realized that one of the two anchor bolts for the bar supporting the handheld shower was completely rusted away, so the bar was kind of swaying loosely. The best part of the room was good cable TV service.

    It looks nothing like the pictures. It smells like animals and cigarette smoke everywhere. The only good thing about the location is the convenience of stores and right next to the highway. The room keys didn't work for the first 2 rooms they tried to give us so it felt like we had to settle. Would not recommend

    If you’re just looking for a cheap place to stay for a night. This definitely checks that box but there are a few things other things you should know about. I will say the woman working the counter was very helpful and nice. We had a small issue with the key we received but that was resolved very quickly. Upon entering the room, we were met with a cigarette smoke smell even though we signed up for a non smoking room. The stench was very strong. The bed itself is more like cardboard with thin sheets, no blanket and a weird smell. We had to cover up the sheets with our own blankets. The bathroom seat was almost decomposed. Did not feel comfortable sitting or using the restroom. Through the night there were many loud conversations and banging on the walls which made my husband place the chair against the door so we could feel a little safe. Worst sleep of my life in the most uncomfortable motel we’ve ever stayed in. This will definitely be our last stay. Oh and the ceiling had a place for a smoke detector but the outside piece was missing so that’s definitely a fire hazard.

    After fully paying expedia, they demanded a deposit once we got there. We finally gave in because we were exhausted from our 10 hour drive. When we to the room she gave us, the card would not work. After trying several times, a gentleman opened the door, from the inside, asking what we wanted. Yes. There was someone already booked in it. So we go hack to the front only to he informed they had no available rooms. We will never book this chain again. And if expedia doesn't do anything, we're done with them also.

    Booked and paid for the hotel through Hotels.com. At check in hot charged again for the room. Also had to pay a 50 dollar deposit with card, cash not accepted for deposit. Long check in process due to only one open window for services. Door to room did not allign with door jam so the bottom of the door looked kicked in. Bathroom had a musky smell like mold. Shower curtain was only held up with 3 hooks so didnt close properly. No tub, only stand up shower. Only cable tv. Patched holes in the walls. One small table with one chair. Vending machine and ice machine are next to office. Shops and a few resteraunts close by. If you need a real cheap place while traveling, it will surfice.

    I never was able to find the property. As I was traveling to south Florida my gps did not find the hotel. That was my problem. However, I called the hotel and the person who answered was clueless on any directions. I finally realized I was at least 50 more miles past the hotel and completely miss the place. I was not going back 50 miles and stayed at a red roof for the night. I would again stay at a motel 6, but I am disappointed I missed the place. My wife and I are 81 and 76. We were tired and so was not feeling well because of the long drive. We needed to stop and did so. I will continue my journey tomorrow. Time for bed at the red roof.

    Worst condition Motel I have ever stayed in. Beds had NO bedspreads, just sheets. TV didn’t work at all. In room phone (to call front desk) didn’t even have the phone cord. It was completely missing. The double bed room had only one towel. Bedsheets had stains and overall room was not very clean.

    The fire/smoke alarm was missing with exposing wirings. No CO alarm or any safety alarm. While we understand the 3pm check-in rule, but there was a line of 5 people waiting since 2pm, it would be wise to "break" the rule a bit especially when there were available rooms.

    My wife and I were both extremely disappointed in this Motel 6. We expected more from a popular chain of motels. First and foremost, the room that we stayed in smelled as if someone had smoked two packs of cigarettes a day for a decade. It is important to know that this was a non-smoking room. The room size was adequate for a single double or queen sized bed, not two double beds! One bed was pushed completely to one wall with access from only the right side of the bed or the end of the bed. The second bed was pushed up against the air conditioner/heater unit, directly under the window. This bed was only accessible from the left side of the bed or the end of the bed. The mattresses and box springs were rather old and many springs of the mattress were broken. Each bed only had a fitted sheet and a flat sheet on it. No blankets or comforters! The stand between the beds had the trim pulled off and was spattered with something black, not mold, on the bottom. There were no usable outlets near the head of the beds. As a matter of fact, their were only 2 usable wall outlets in the whole space, and neither were in a convenient place. The floor was dirty and it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a month or so. There were holes in the flooring and multiple spots where the floor had thick black marks. Their was not a single trash can in the place! The TV remote did not work. Now the bathroom was a disaster and I am out of space to explain how bad it was. I wish I could add photos.

    Roaches everywhere. Requested a non smoking room because i uave breathing issues and the room reaked of cigarettes. Crusty stains on curtains , sheets and walls and cieling. Fights and partying in parking lot at late hours with no staff or security intervention. Staff took FOREVER to check each person in creating a ridiculously long line that lasted several hrs. Trash overflowing everywhere on property and not taken out once in the 3 days i was there. Lock on door was busted off. Worst motel 6 ive stayed at so far in the entire country!

    Josh checked us in and he was so welcoming and polite. He was the best part of this brief trip. On our way up to our room there was a sheriff escorting someone off the property, as well as many questionable people wandering around. Some playing loud rap music on speakers outside. Immediately we didn’t feel safe. Our room was so small and there were no comforters on the beds. One bedside light didn’t work and the night stand was filthy. I took a wet towel to the floor and realized the floor was also filthy. The bottom of the bathroom shower was black and cracked all over. We decided we would not be able to be comfortable enough to sleep here. We asked for a refund and went to another hotel. Josh was apologetic and understanding. We tipped him for his amazing customer service!

    I have traveled for business most of my working career. This motel was not even worthy of being rated. The bed had dirty sheets, there were coach roaches running around the room... I killed three. The overall condition of the exterior of the building(s) was very bad. Website said it was redone in 2023. Figured how bad can it be? (evacuated my home due to Hurricane Melton..needed pet friendly site) Yes they did a cosmetic make over of the rooms new paint, new vinyl flooring, new motel furniture, microwave, frig, etc. But they didn't replace the bedding which was in desperate need of replacement. Again, bed sheets were badly stained, towels were stained and bugs! You couldn't pay me to stay there ever again. Even if there was an evacuation order for a storm I'd rather sleep in my car with my dog than spend a dime for a place like this. NEVER again!

    Take me around the property to find the office. People everywhere walking around the property all kinds. When I pulled in, I knew this was not a good area to even be in. But there was a hotel in one side I believe a red top and I can’t remember what was on the other. But like I said, all I was needing was a bed to sleep on. I had 1000 mile trip the next day and it already most of the day to Jacksonville.. Any other time I would’ve come up on something like this, I would’ve strictly canceled my reservation and someplace else. Grown man 6’1” 200 Pretty feisty if I need to be. But I assure you, I was a bit nervous getting out of the vehicle going to looking over the rails And the characters walking around in the area. My room was as plain as it could possibly be. But I knew it would be at that cost. Good thing was it had a good refrigerator and small freezer which I used. Television worked good also. There were holes in the bathroom wall. I’m guessing from Adams being relocated over the years. Water ran good in the sink, but did not have much pressure at all in the shower of the tub along with no hot water. Won’t stay here again

    I liked that they allowed me stay with my Dachshunds at no extra charge. I was reviewing different areas house hunting. This motel was in a good location for my searches. The downside was the place is rundown the floors chipped and coming loose they were dirty. The room was roach infested and the bathroom had water leaking down from the second floor. People were eating chicken and throwing the bones in the parking lot and sidewalks. The day before I checked out a car parked next to mine was stolen.l had police knocking on my door investigating the theft. Then a security guard knocked on my door at 11:30 at night looking for my handicap sticker. I stayed here because the payment was non refundable. I checked out two days early.

    I have a Frenchie that goes everywhere with me so I stay here when I am in Jacksonville westside. For their pet policy and friendly staff. Property is constantly being improved. New air conditioners. Pool is being ready for summer. Monisha and lanisha always have a great attitude and make checking in a breeze.
