    1st rate hotel. This was my second time staying here. Will always stay here when I'm visiting Jacksonville. Rooms are really clean, towels are plentiful and thick, bed and pillows comfortable with decent bed linens. Great breakfast with good variety. Professional staff with pleasing personalities. There are lots of restaurants and plenty of shopping nearby. Nothing fancy, just a great place to stay.

    Clean rooms and good parking We have a bugs in our first room but it was solved quickly with getting different room. But that can happens almost anywhere - it’s Florida :-) I still have to recommend this stay as was all other things fine.

    The staff was friendly and helpful! The floor of the shower was slippery when first stepping in, the toilet paper holder was loose and kept almost dropping the rolls, and the sheets were put on the bed sideways. The last one is minor, mostly just weird. The shower is a safety hazard.

    One of my favorite hotel stay for sure. Nice size room, friendly staff, cleanliness from the parking lot to the inside. The breakfast was actually pretty good and nice gym. Last but not least, extremely convenient to everything from restaurants to shopping. I personally recommend and give it a 5 out of 5⭐️

    I love the location because I already know the area and there are many necessary places nearby, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, shops, gas stations, and it's right next to the highway. I didn't like that apparently I selected a room by mistake, this room was for the disabled and it was on the first floor, I've already stayed several times and they are very kind to me, but this time there was a guy who didn't understand very well what he was talking about because of a problem he has in his mouth apparently, but that would be the least important thing I make the reference because apparently it bothered him that I asked him to repeat but it was because I genuinely didn't understand him. When he gave me the first floor he knew I couldn't go well so I asked him to please change me to the second floor and he refused, I told him why? It was obvious that the hotel was not full but he said that there was no room I had asked for and I told him it doesn't matter, give me another one and he said no, so I just asked him the noise from outside won't bother me? And does the air work well? And he said yes. Well, the noise didn't bother me so much, but it does feel much more than on the second floor. And the air does not cool at all and it was one of the requests I made when making the reservation and I also asked him on the desk. The bathroom has no tub and then there is no place to put the soap, shampoo and things like that and it was also very dirty. I've stayed before and I like it, this time very bad experience.

    The only issue I had was the tv was really hard to work- she had to come down with a separate remote. It did the same thing the next night, so I just watched my tablet instead. But it was clean & nice and I will most likely stay again.

    Not the standard that I'm used to with the Wyndham brand. The bathroom and shower area didn't have any shelving for convenience, the walk in construction of the shower allowed water to get all over making the floor slippery(fall risk)

    Presentation is everything! The hotel grounds were not clean. Walking in the Laquinta rug was dirty, the luggage cart was raggedy, and the smell was terrible. It’s an old smell throughout the place. The arrows going up and down were broken/missing on the elevator . Ice was only available on the 3rd floor, broken on the other floors. The hallway rugs were dirty, the hallways were dark! Upon entering our room was good. Everything was clean and updated. We won’t stay again though because of the initial presentation and the smell and because of the smell we couldn’t eat the breakfast. The location was good..

    The location was near plenty of shopping and food in case you needed anything. Also close to the highway. The staff was nice and inviting. The breakfast was what you can expect out of the free buffet breakfast. Not in a bad way but eggs, sausage, yogurt, toast, waffles cereal. Beds were comfortable everything was clean and the staff offered Services for towels and turned down for the bed. If there was anything that was remotely dissatisfying maybe the fact that they didn’t have diet soda in their machine for purchase. However, there were still very close. We went and got our drinks, all right with the world.

    Very low light even at vanity, you can not see proper at all, definitely can not put makeup’s Bare minimum storage place, only 6 hangers to hang gardener’s with iron board all in less than one foot area at the entrance, Not enough space to hang 6 peace of outfits. No hooks or bar on the bathroom to keep towel and your clothes, sink and towels are placed outside of bathroom. No cloth lines in the bathroom Breakfast is very minimal, we went out to eat each day We did not complain, but walls are not soundproof all all, I could hear TV clearly from next room.

    I recommend this place if all you want is somewhere to lay your head. If you’re hoping for a relaxing or enjoyable stay, look elsewhere. Breakfast: Terrible. Powdery eggs and boiled breakfast sausage. They had decent cereals but ran out of milk. Cleanliness: The bathroom was clean. The carpets are disgusting. Amenities: pool was closed for repairs. Ice machine was broken. TV in room was broken and everything was blue. The only have shampoo and no conditioner available. So be sure and pack that. Booking: I booked a double room for two adults and a kiddo. Called the front desk to confirm after booking. This was important because we would be checking in late. We get there and it’s only a queen bed and they have no roll out beds or any other available rooms. Their “offer” to make amends was to cancel the reservation (at 10 pm) or waive the deposit (which we get back anyway).

    The alarm clock could not be programmed and worst of all there was NO hot water at 6am. I ran it for more than 10 minutes to no avail. It wasn't even lukewarm. The inside door of the elevator needs to be cleaned. Also, since I booked through Expedia, I knew there would be a $100.00 fee. However, they managed to charge it immediately but here it is, 5 days later and the $100.00 has not been refunded yet!

    Rooms threadbare but clean. Pool dirty and shut down. Breakfast ran out of food hours before it was supposed to. Many work teams were staying there and they descended on the food as soon as breakfast opened and wiped out most of the food like a swarm of locusts

Huge stains on the carpet and every wall was unnecessarily dirty with handprints, grease streaks, etc. The baseboards are falling apart and coming undone.     Been to multiple la quintas, never had a problem. Apparently they changed the age to 21+ check-in only a week before I booked this one. It wasn’t disclosed until after I paid full price for my stay, and they refuse to answer my calls or talk to me about a refund. Staff has no customer service skills, and cannot provide me with any help. I’m sure it’s fine to stay there but the minute you have an issue and need to involve staff you’re screwed. Out hundreds of dollars because they couldn’t confirm with me beforehand if it was 21+….

    To set the scene: we came to Jacksonville to visit our son in the Navy, having never been here before and unsure of what to expect. We arrived the hotel around 10 pm after our flight landed. The people at the front desk were kind and professional. When we first walked into our room it smelled strongly of urine. We requested a new room and the man at the front desk was gracious and very quickly got us a new room. The new room had no odor. We woke up the next morning and as my husband sat up in bed he noticed a pair of used underwear (not ours) hanging from the cords that run under the desk. See photo. This was very disturbing because the room was clean other than that. We left the room to enjoy the city and in the hallway was a large red and brown stain that resembled blood. The stain remained for the entirety of our stay. See photo. Some other issues included the unpleasant smell in the hallways and very noticeably in the elevator. The elevator permit posted on the wall was expired and everything was dingy, stained, and sticky. The employees were the highlight of our stay and everyone we interacted with was to be commended. The parking was easy and the hotel itself is accessible right off the highway. To sum everything up, I would not stay here again.

    The hotel is in a nice area, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. While the building itself is older, it’s clear that renovations are underway, and some updates have already been made. The effort to improve the place shows, and it made for a comfortable stay. I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially as they continue to upgrade.

    When we got to the hotel room, our shower had no shower curtain on it. We called the front desk and reported it.     I ve stayed at other LaQuinta before and enjoyed it. This location was smelly especially the elevator. Breakfast items were finished by 9:30 with 30 mins left. I will make a different hotel choice next time i visit Jacksonville.

    What I liked about this property/hotel was the comfortable bed, the easy parking and the quietness of the building. What I didn’t like was that the “handicap” room we were assigned to had an open shower, meaning joining the toilet with the shower without any curtains or division, which made the whole bathroom fill of water after taking a shower. I didn’t like the fact to give light to room was by turning the lamps manually, no switch for lights. The second day, the toilet clogged that we were moved to next door room, which had the same exact issue with “open shower”; all B.R. Filled with water after showering. Even more, the T.V. From that room never worked. Staff tried helping us by giving us 3 different remove controls, but this was unsuccessful. Unfortunately, I did not think I was going to receive this review, for which I did not take any pictures and now is too late, because we are gone. I hope this information helps others!

    Propiedad muy limpia y remodelada, la habitaciones muy comodas y con todo lo necesario. Elq aiere acondicionado trabajaba muy bien y en general una estancia de 2 dias muy buena. El desayuno estaba incluido y estaba aceptable. Solo diria que agregaran 2 botellas de agua por habitacion.

    Huge mix-up with the reservations, given a standard room but paid for a deluxe room. Despite having proof, staff did not honor. The door to my room looked like it had been kicked in, did not align when closed, took a few tries to get it to lock. Bed was ok, room was clean. Very convenient to the highway, great area with fantastic food options.

    Was worried when we checked in at 1:30am. not many cars in lot gave a bad feeling this wasn't going to be a good place BUT it was very clean, staff helpful, BED was the best I've slept in for a hotel in a long time and breakfast was just ok.Recommend this place.

    When we arrived, the room that they assigned us had not been cleaned. The linens were still on the bed from the previous guest and their trash was still in the room. After we alerted them of this, they gave us another room that was actually clean. No issues after that however, there is trash around the parking lot of the hotel.

    Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience for my children. MY children stay there for 3 nights and on the 4th night (6 night reservation), I received a call from the hotel (because I was the one who paid and reserved) to let my kids know that they need to pick up their belongings because the hotel got flooded so everybody needs to evacuate and no one can sleep there that night and for the next 2 weeks. The hotel should have provided a place for their guest to move in but, it wasn't the case. Instead I was told to contact hotel.com about it since I booked through them. I rich out to hotel.com for help but was not able to speak with a real person. Since the timing wasn't right, my kids have to spend a night on a car till the next day. They were able to find a place to stay for their remaining days. So I'm calling the la quinta inn & suites manager that you should provide your guest a place to stay when they have to evacuate or in times of emergency. For hotel.com, your customer service is very terrible, no real person to help in times like this. Can you imagine all the trouble my kids had been through for sleep in a car?

    There were “maintenance” workers in my room on 3 different occasions during my stay. Yes you read that right, maintenance workers. They felt the need to come in and fix my air conditioning WHILE im staying there without my permission and with all of my valuables in plain sight. The second time maintenance left some tool in my room and then came back later asking for it. The last time they told me they had to come in and steam my carpets WHILE IM STAYING THERE????? I kept declining their offer and they threatened to kick me out, which was crazy. I’ll never EVER EVER stay here again.

    It was ok. Left sign on door to not be disturbed. When we came back to our room, we noticed someone had been in there. Nothing was missing, but we felt our privacy was invaded when asked not to. Clerk who checked us in seemed nice until she mentioned smoking.
