For the price does not have a microwave in the room and rooms aren’t that nice for the price

Housekeeping missed room cleanup, had to visit front desk. The room was visited by housekeeping at 6 pm.

Absolutely phenomenal staff first off. Valet was the best at any hotel I have been to. The 24/7 market has great options any time of day and their morning service is top notch. Even when there was a line, things moved swiftly. Rooms are clean, spacious and really comfortable. One thing I didn't enjoy were the pillows. The pillows were awful. However, compared to everything else, that was so low on the list. Pool could use more seating, however, loved the staff up there making drinks and keeping everyone hydrated. The bar has great. It jas great seating, food, and awesome options. Loved my stay and will definitely be back.

The building was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The riverfront was so relaxing and peaceful..very beautiful The only thing that I didn't like was the bedding on the beds. Need more heavy duty comforters on the bed..It was cold at night and the bedding felt wet. I would recommend changing all the comforter's on the bedding for the guests.

Hyatt Riverfront was a beautiful Hotel! Awesome bar and restaurant, Grerat view of the River. We Loved would definitely visit again. The only thing that needs to be changed are the toilets in the rooms. They are so low!

This is my second time staying here and I just love it so much. It’s clean, smells amazing and the staff is wonderful. I went to the bar and the bartender Neka was amazing! The hotel is quiet and located in an area that is convenient for getting to and from various events happening around town. Hyatt Regency will always be my first choice when I stay in Jacksonville!

The carpets are dirty, the room had an old pack down smell. The main lobby and common areas were very well kept. Valet customer service need some work.

The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. A better reading light situation would have been nice, only one big lamp between the beds but directional lights would be better. Great visit, will go again.

The hotel is beautiful and the restaurants were amazing. Our only minor complaint was the cleanliness of the rooftop pool area. It is a great space but could definitely be better maintained and maybe updated. Other than that we had a great stay for the Jazz Festival and would absolutely stay again.

The hotel was great and would stay again. Get a river review room!! Warning about parking. When checking in they said if we self parked and we said yes. We asked if the hotel charges for the parking and were told no, it's a third party garage and the hotel has nothing to do with the parking. So leaving the garage we pay $36.00 to get out of the garage. Then get a hotel receipt emailed and they charged $34.00 plus tax for parking.

View for the Jazz Fest was beautiful. I did not purchase breakfast there. The room was good and comfy. Housekeeping was friendly and on time everyday. I did not like, not knowing there is a $34 charge for self-parking. I don't remember seeing that mention on Booking.com. However, it is displayed on the hotel website.

The rooms appeared to be clean, the beds were clean, and the sheets were stark, white and very comfortable as well as the pillows. I would definitely stay again. I do wish they had 24 hour room service.

When parking in the parking garage, you end up in the 1st floor with no guidance to the front desk to check in, which is down the elevator to ground floor.

I was there for the Jacksonville Jazz Festival, which is a very large event. Hotel was fully occupied in the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only suggestion I would have is that they should have more bartenders when there is such a large event. I waited almost 30 minutes at the bar to get a drink. The bartenders were just overwhelmed by the crowd.

The room was adequate. Could really use an update/refresh. Really not a lot to see and do, or places to eat once you get to the property.

We were in town for a concert and got back to the hotel late and there was also an IronMan Marathon race in town and a lot of those folks got back to the hotel late and yet they quit delivering room service at 11:00 p.m. That was a complete disappointment. So we went to bed hungry.

The property is outdated and needs renovation. The security features like the entrances, elevators, and common area doors were supposed to require the room key to be unlocked, but they were completely unlocked and easily accessible for anyone from the outside. Every floor had an ice machine, but no water available for the guests. The pool was outdated and dirty with construction debris. It looks like the hotel was in a great condition in the past, but the general condition has been deteriorating overtime.

The view of the river from our room was very beautiful. Room very spacious. Bed comfortable. Staff extremely welcoming, pleasant, kind, polite. Jeff at the front desk was very responsive to our needs. Yancy helped us to figure out how to access the various modes of transportation available. We had a lovely stay and would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone

The riverfront area is not what it used to be. There are some clubs and things downtown but the riverfront shops and restaurants are limited. Overall, very expensive for not too much value. Parking and breakfast are additional expenses.

Room was very clean and stocked. View of the river wasn't perfect but was nice to be able to see the water and watch the sun with the bridge. The valet took a while to get our vehicle. I will most likely use self-parking from now on. This is the second time since February I have stayed at this location, and the valet was not "speedy" either time. I do not believe it had anything to do with the staff. They were very nice and friendly, I think it was due to the high volume of people using valet and leaving at the same time.

Very much enjoyed our one night stay here! We had a show at The Florida Theatre, and were able to walk right over and grab a bite and then see the show. Room on the river was scenic, have to pay for parking in the garage, but being able to walk where we need to go was perfect! Breakfast was delicious!

We stayed on the river view side and it was amazing, there is a sliding door to open and feel the ocean breeze truly wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel the staff was amazingly courteous, helpful and professional.

The room views were great. However, if traveling with small children, please pay full attention to them while you're in the rooms. The patio window that's faces out to the river did not have any safety locks on them

Shower vented and gurgled swamp gas thru the sink when showering. 8th flood smells like a bushel of old gym socks. Urinal in lobby was overflowing when I walked in and got my shoes wet. Elevators were unpredictable the first day

Elevators could be more coordinated- made a lot of extra stops, wrong floors, and most of the buttons don't light up. Need an abs station in the gym. Escalator needs fixing. More coffee service AM- line was slammed. Didn't have time then to get coffee.

Our room was on a higher floor which faced the riverfront, so the room and view were amazing. Hotel sat on the end cap, so there was limited traffic and you could walk on the riverfront. It was beautiful. the beds were comfortable and it was quiet. After checking out of the hotel, we waited for our Lyft driver to arrive, and hotel had an area setup with miniature golf to pass the time. Really cool. Had a great experience. There wasn't anything bad to say about our stay, as it was pure pleasure!

The view was spectacular overlooking the St. Johns River. The room was spacious and very clean, and even the hallways smelled amazing. I also appreciated the 12:00 checkout—it made the stay feel much more relaxed. The only downside was the cost of the food—$8 for a bottle of water and $4 for a small bag of M&M’s felt quite high. I understand that things will cost more, but this was too much.

Very expensive. Didn't pay for it. Bed sheets and comforter were very rough, and didn't warm you very much. Bedspread felt "plastic". Parking signals for exit were very small and few. Check out instructions didn't specify that you needed your room key to exit the parking.

Overall, the hotel and our stay was good. The location is right on the river and near a decent steakhouse. Inside the hotel, there is a market with good breakfast sandwiches and iced coffee and a gift shop that had all the things we needed to cure a cold (my partner was a little under the weather). The hotel is a little dated and would benefit from some updates to continue to draw travelers.

The room was dirty and had obviously not been occupied for long enough that the fixtures were rusted. Everything was dusty like it had been sitting empty for months and there was no hot water.

The window had some slight discoloration in the upper corner that looked like water damage but otherwise the hotel was beautiful and the Tavern was a great restaurant. Amazing food.

The room was very clean with a great river view, great food and drink at the tavern. There were a lot of people staying at the hotel due to a concert and when the line got very long for the elevators people were upset that staff were discouraging use of the stairs. The hotel felt upscale for the price!

When we arrived we sat in the line for Valet for 30+ minutes only to be told the lot was full and also the garage. We had to find a random parking spot blocks away. At this point we're now running late for our function. We drop our bags in the room and head out quickly. When we got back for the night our room had a stench of garbage. We asked to switch rooms but the desk was no help. We stayed for about 4 hours and left. Upon checkout I at the concierge know, again and now I'm complaining on a review. I will be contacting corporate tomorrow (Monday morning) first thing. We paid a lot for a room and expected parking for such a big hotel. Absolutely ridiculous, absolute trash. The only good thing was the Tavern. Great food and the drinks are strong. But not strong enough for that stench.

Immediately stepping out of the elevator, we were hit with a stench so bad we had to cover our faces with our jackets. Either raw sewage or something rotting. The entire floor smelled like that--including the rooms. We moved to a floor several floors below, and they also smelled badly--though just damp/mildew. We ended up checking out the next day. Nightmare.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the prices at the market are ridiculously overpriced. $6 for a bottle of water, $7 for a Monster Energy Drink, $9 for a small bag of nibs...etc. Also, they have about 8 elevators, but only 4 or so were actually running. There were long lines just to get on/off the elevators. We will definitely stay here again in the future, but come more prepared with our own snacks and drinks.

Staff at check in were amazing. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the staff in the lounge. Considering it is New Years Eve and there are spectators everywhere, the employees were gracious and hospitable!

We had a perfect stay. Staff was truly wonderful and the lobby and common areas are great. Bobby in guest services was so helpful with our luggage and they even stored our bikes. The only reason I’m rating the hotel 4 stars is because the rooms could use a bit of updating and maybe removing or replacing the carpets. The location on the river is great with beautiful views and the riverwalk and downtown right there.

The Security member “Zeke” was very helpful and polite to my adult son. I also observed his professionalism in action while there was a high profile group here during a concert on 12/14/25. My family and I will definitely consider returning on our next visit to FL.

The room was clean and quiet,staff was friendly, restaurant and food market made our stay convenient.

The pet situation is great too. There is easy access to a nice grass area for the dogs too. I don’t know how we have missed this on our Jacksonville trips but we will be back! Thank you

Room had no drawers at all and was much smaller than expected. Prices in hotel were crazily overpriced. $20 for 2 pens. The valet lost our car 3 out of the 4 days.

A fantastic stay at the Hyatt Regency in Jacksonville. The customer service was outstanding; delivered by each employee at the hotel regardless of their station. That goes from the doorman to the cleaning staff.. Each encounter I had was met with courtesy and politeness.. The hotel management should be pleased with the service provided by team members !

The location is the best thing about this hotel. Walking distance to EverBank Stadium and many restaurants. Valet is expensive, imo, at $47.30 (with tax) per night. Self park was $35+tax per night. I'm really wondering if Hotels.com is the best way to go. Even being Platinum, I seem to always get one of the lesser rooms. Anyway, room was SUPER musty smelling but seemed clean. Very basic, nothing special, but the Riverfront view was worth the extra price. Seems an update is needed but they were certainly busy so I guess why bother? All in all, decent, but was expecting a bit more for a Hyatt Regency and it was definitely the highest price in the area.

Room was upgraded without additional charge. Beautiful room overlooking the river. Staff gave us free waters. Just a beautiful hotel!

Everything was top notch except a heating issue the first night. It didn’t get resolved on the first night, but they addressed it the following morning. Management did call and apologized.

Clean, spacious room with beautiful view of the river. We did not breakfast here although there was dining available for purchase. Convenient walkable location to downtown riverwalk, art museum and dining. Elevator was slow and parking available across the street, would stay here again, felt safe and welcomed by staff.

And the tavern, staff and food were the best. The riverside views were great, Enjoyed all the nightlights and the dolphin mornings. I would highly recommend it and would love to come back soon. AC wasn’t the best, but satisfied overall!

First impression was everything was a little worn but it’s well designed in the public places. We got to the 19th floor and there was an extremely strong odor. I assumed probably a signature scent of the hotel but so much of it I couldn’t breathe. I get to the actual room and again it smells weird but I can’t put my finger on it. My partner goes to turn the AC on to air out the room but it doesn’t work. This brought me to the front desk (because my phone didn’t work in the room) and they were nice even though I wasn’t being so nice because I was terrified my AC was broken and they stated there were no other rooms in my category available, so I would have to downgrade. The manager and front desk personnel were kind gave $20 in market vouchers, went to my room and it turns out the balcony door was slightly ajar so the ac won’t turn on. I was so relieved! So I go out for the evening, maybe about six hours, and return to my room and it’s certainly not the temperature the AC is set too but the balcony isn’t the problem this time because the AC is on and running just not cooling the room, Luckily for us a cold front came through so we opted to open the sliding

The breakfast was amazing. the bathroom floors need to be clean. everything else was excellent. you can see the dirt within the grout

I love how clean the property was and how clean the room were. The staff were excellent! They have a SHOR: Seafood grill, Tavern, and Market all located in the lobby! It was business- friendly as well. The hotel was dog friendly as well! They had a pool too. I will definitely be back! If you’re traveling to Downtown Jacksonville, book with Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, you won’t be disappointed!

Customer service truly went above and beyond!! We had a minor issue with one of our rooms that I honestly did not expect anything in return for. Customer service took care of our parking fee, gave us a huge discounted rate for meals, and even a little something to purchase anything we may need at their market. Not what I expected at all. Throughout the process they could not have been any nicer and professional.

10/10 would stay again! We had an excellent welcome to your property by everyone we encountered and at check in, were moved to a larger room so as to help us be more comfortable for our stay! Location was in walking distance to FL Theatre and was absolutely lovely! Will definitely stay again.

Hotel pretty inside. Room was a nice size suite, clean, comfy beds. Staff was welcoming and efficient at front desk. Parking garage attendant was very professional and nice. Ate at Cinco DeMayo; manager and staff friendly, food delicious. Hotel has Starbucks and a market right in the lobby! Great stay! AC works good. Recommend it highly!😃

The property could certainly use some TLC. Several elevators were out of service leading to longer wait times. The food was mediocre at best. When I checked in, the entire lobby reeked of marijuana with several people sleeping on the floor.

This property was very pretty and the river view from the 11th floor was really nice to look out from. The rooftop pool was also a nice touch along with the gym that connects. We only stayed one night but we enjoyed the whole experience

We enjoyed the area, Riverfront was great for walking! The hotel was nice. We wanted to give an "excellent" but due to the fact we asked for the air conditioning to be checked, as it made terrible noises when coming on and going off. The man that came in and checked it only took the cover off the unit and put it right back on! He walked to the thermostat and touched it and said "the fan is low" and said that it was fixed and left. And of course, it continued to make the same noise until we checked out! And it actually got worse. We only had one day left to stay so we tolerated it. We also requested a handle in the shower be fixed. The guy that came to fix it did not knock on the door but just used his key to attempt to enter. We had the safety latch on so it sounded like someone was breaking into the room!! Please advise staff to knock before trying to enter! Overall, it was a good stay!

When in Jacksonville I stay at the Hyatt Regency. It is a wonderful hotel. A level above the rest.

This hotel is in serious need of a great housekeeping staff and a remodel. The lobby is fine and market is convenient. The floors and rooms smell musty and feel damp. The room was disgusting. A thin layer of grime and dust on everything. Hair in the sheets, stains on the sides of the bed. Carpets had burns in them and appliances were rusty. The nicer rooms are apparently in the terrace and are for the airport only. They should not be charging what they are to stay here. Go to the Marriott where the rooms are clean and updated.

Lobby is pretty! Food should have more choose on menu. Buffet … is nothing to eat . Pet friendly is good. Staff is nice .

The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. The view was amazing. The cleanliness was sub par. There was someone else’s hair stuck to the shower walls when I arrived. The shower curtain had mold on top of them. The carpets in the hallways had a foul odor. There was a broken drink glass in the elevator lobby that sat there for hours with a wet floor sign over it. When they came in and cleaned the room, they remade the bed with visibly dirty sheets. Not what I expected for $200/night.

Upon arrival, no hot water at all. It was late at night so thought maybe it would be resolved the next morning. It wasn’t. Front desk was friendly and accommodating in that she provided access to another room on the same floor that did have hot water. Inconvenient but not that big a deal. Arrived back in my room late afternoon and had luke warm water… ugh. By the next morning, it was freezing cold again. I won’t return.

Room was very nice and comfortable. Food options were just okay, and service was quite slow since staff seemed short. Bed was very comfortable. Neighbor was a little sketchy about a block or two away.

Very quiet, comfortable, large room. Front desk accommodated my request for a high floor. Elevators, fast and plentiful. Valets were super friendly, as was all the staff who I encountered. Food was very good in the bar. Watched dolphins swimming, in the river, right across the street. Easy walk to the Florida theater.

It is within walking distance to the Florida theater. The swimming pool on the 19th floor was wonderful and fun.

I stayed at Hyatt Regecy for a wedding. The entire weekend there was absolutely no hot water. I told the desk and the only reply I received was “they were aware.” I had to shower in cold water and it was very unpleasant and uncomfortable

Easy stay in Jacksonville. Restaurants on site and close to Daily’s Place. Clean and convenient with nice River/ city view. Would stay here again.

Located around 22-27 min from Jax airport. Filthy and outdated hotel. Took forever to check in and out. Only good thing is the hardworking valet folks.

Facilities need an update urgent. Bath, carpets, faucets are old and they are not up to the name hyatt.

Phenomenal property. Kyle at front desk is fantastic. Comfortable beds, great views, restaurants everywhere downtown…this place is as close to perfect as Jax gets! And for a very reasonable price!

Overall, the hotel was very nice. Anna at checking in was super awesome very friendly. She gave me a complementary champagne ticket for my birthday. But the room was somewhat clean. The bed was a little uncomfortable. There was a smell of mildew coming from the room, but a lot worse in the bathroom

My room was not clean. The towels were dirty and soiled and the bed sheets were dirty with hair inside when I pulled back the top sheet. I changed to a clean room. So my stay was not bad after the change.

There are eight elevators that need programming or updated to handle the guests. It was quicker going up the emergency stairs than the wait to get on the elevator. Other than that we enjoyed our Fourth there, perfect spot to be to watch the fireworks.

Everything about this property was awesome even with the area being crowded, but the only thing that I was frustrated about was the day of check out, my wife and I had to leave early for a convention that she had to speak, and I went to the front desk for towels to take a shower before we leave and the front desk person told me that someone would bring some to us which actually took almost 45 minutes and by the time we were brought the towels we did the best we could to get cleaned up to leave the premises. Besides that hiccup I had no other complaints

Hospitable staff from the bellman to the manager on duty. Riverview room was spacious. Microwave oven was at the opposite end of the hall which was inconvenient.
