I have no complaints! The staff was amazing and friendly! The rooms were very clean and tidy and the buffet was amazing! Apparently loved the amenities that was in our room. Lived the pool area and even the common area on the back patio with the fire pit and bbq grills. Will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town

- 4/5
It's a nice property, but it's eear/tear is showing. At least it was in my room.
- 4/5
The full Kitchen had a large ref + utensils and stove + microwave cooking areas which I did not use. I felt like I paid too much for the room. Is there the option to just get a bedroom and suite without a kitchen? I think embassy suites has these type rooms.

Breakfast was not up to standard !

The TV. Lack of good channels, don't have a subscription for the most of the stations listed, no Netflix or others. Thank you. Seems like a smell coming from the bathroom. The air conditioner was a little loud.

- 5/5
Everything was great. However, they need to have someone clean the outside sitting area. I sat out every night for a bit and the tables were never cleaned. Had a bit of a tough time with one of the tvs, but I figured it out!!. I'll definitely stay again.

Breakfast was so delicious and parking is convenient. This is an awesome place to stay. Staff member are so friendly all through my trip.

Some of the doors don’t close. Customer Sevice is just OK. If you book for four people don’t expect to find pillows or towels for the other 2 people. You actually have to request them and they’re not always available. Good luck

Clean room, very nice staff. Check-in was delayed as our room and several others were not ready in time. I think they were short on help? The one cleaning room attendant was very crabby and didn’t bother to say hello or anything after we acknowledged her.

The room was o.k. the dishes all needed to be recleaned, since they all had old food on them. There was no sponge, so i washed them all with a bathroom cloth. There was a bad smell coming from the sink, and i found slimy residue on the sink rubber ring. The cleaning is sub-par, which is sad that this is a hilton brand. They charge more for dogs than the other hiltons as well. There were metal bed extenders sticking out of the bed about 4 inches, and we all were hitting our legs on themm all night. There is no trashcan in the room besides the bathroom. Only a small desk one that fits pretty much only your 2 coffee cups and thats about it. There was overflowing trash in the hallways that smelt up the whole floor. Just not a great experience. .
- 2/5
No cleaning of room except once in the entire 7 days stay, charged twice for room and funds tied up for a week -small room, asked for receipt but front desk printer broken and will email receipt and never did. Overall, not good experience.

The entire staff here was amazing to say the least!! The room, pool and hot tub were all nice and clean.
- 2/5
Bed was comfy, hot tub worked Under construction, breakfast was gross, one fire pit was always occupied, loud neighbors played music late at night, front staff very loud talking and laughing with each other which is nice to see them in good mood but was disruptive
- 3/5
Management should check breakfast quality, variety and quantities.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Very good place to stay. Family friendly. I don’t give a 5 stars because on Christmas Day they were doing some fixes in the room next to us and was very noisy
- 5/5
Setup of the room was excellent!! Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast choices.
- 5/5
excellent location, well maintained and lots of choice for breakfast
- 5/5
The stay has been amazing , I even extended my stay to an additional day! Breakfast buffet/bar was great & tasty. And room was clean and comfy. Felt like a home away from home !
- 3/5
Cleaning staff needs to be more thorough. Found hairs in the tub and what appeared to be sneeze residue on the towel rack. The plumbing was another issue. The toilet rocked on the floor like grandmas rocker and would barely flush. The ice machine on my floor made noises but no ice. I dare say I will find a different hotel to stay in next time in the area. Should have been only a 2 star rating.
- 5/5
Good breakfast selection. Easy parking. Good restaurants near by. Make sure heat has been tested before using. Our had a smell. Overall, great property
- 4/5
Didn't eat breakfast
- 2/5
Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was very disappointing for over $400, TV in "living room" did not work, possibly the remote, but it wasn't worth dealing with. Blinds in both rooms could not be closed, not sure what function they serve. And good luck getting from the bed closest to the window to the bathroom. There is less than a foot between the opposite bed and the wall..... The breakfast was descent with fresh fruit, yogurt and a limited breakfast burrito bar. All in all just not worth the money.
- 2.5/5
It was comfortable When I arrive the older Asian lady was not the friendliest and I could barely understand or hear her. The housekeeping could be better and I like to close the curtain when in a room not leave them open
- 5/5
first night staff was good but not in the second night
- 3/5
Dont know how old this property is but its beginning to show some wear and tear. Doors stick and had to shove to get in. Toilet stopped up and it did not appear clean or if so the use of the room could be why it appeared that way. Positives enjoyed the breakfast and the wednesday get together. Hard working and pleasant staff.

Could have an elevator on both ends of hotel on each floor, other than that, awesome

- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and the room had everything I needed if I were to stay for an extended period of time. Everything was good until I decided to use the microwave because there were tiny bugs climbing on it when I opened the door. Also no one cleaned my room or left fresh towels for me.

They had me in a room near the elevator and it was all i heard all day and night. up and down, up and down. Damn near lost my mind. please invest in sound insulation.

I was not expecting much and I got less than what I expected. On check-in I got to the room and was about to survey the room and then the front desk person came upstairs and said that our room was double booked. So my kids and I had to go back downstairs to see what was going on. When we got back downstairs it was an error in the system and everything was fine and so my kids and I had to bring all of our luggage back to our room. The A/C in the hallway was not working, which gave it a musty smell. The A/C in the room was great so no issues there. Then I did a survey of the room and it had a lot of imperfections (I.e paint in the tub was peeling, cracks in the ceiling, fire sprinkler in the ceiling weren’t properly covered, outlets not working to charge devices). But there was a strange lollipop under the TV. I brought it down to the front desk (I also found a box of Walmart brand pasta in the cabinet but I was too tired to complain about that too). Best part was the area, it was close to everything, breakfast was good and extra towels given. With everything that went in I would still give it a 3.5 stars. Key, don’t go in with high expectations.
- 1/5
Service ever other day. Only received one, one day we were without water for 8 hours. We couldn’t shower, use the toilets nothing. Tried to use the grill the front desk associate handed me dirty grill utensils was old food on them and mentioned she got them from the kitchen. They also checked someone in the same room as me who checked in during the middle of the night so at 1:30am a total stranger walked in on me and my family and were able to access our room while we were sleep. The burners didn’t work to the stove and the lights didn’t work in the rooms. Everything about the stay was horrific. This was a nasty property with no help. The staff was nice and the happy hour was really appealing but after so much going on I believe they were trying to make it up to the guest.

It was a good experience really liked this hotel a d the staff was great

Gave us the wrong room and instead of jus switching us to the room we wanted the manager gone tell us it’s and extra $135 remind u we already had paid $170 for the night them damn ppl crazy we hurry up and left I don’t recommend staying there they are get overs bad

- 5/5
Very nice location, my dad was there to celebrate my grandma’s 99th birthday so it was great to be able to find a nice hotel near her home.
- 2/5
All of the doors in the room were scraping the floor and difficult to open, we started out not having enough towels for everyone in our room and had a hard time getting more because they were always "in the laundry", the entire hotel was way too hot and the AC would shut off in our room at night. The breakfast is not great and there's not a huge selection, the staff was very nice was it took a long time to get a response or any assistance.
- 5/5
Quiet and close to dining and city

The things I didn't was that the tv didn't work when it was raining. The TV channels wasn't right because it say Rambo but iron man will be on. And also the fact that they were under construction.

Great location, not far from St. John Town Center. There are a plethora of food places nearby. The movie theatre is right across the street. The beds were medium, not rock hard but not super plush either. They were much better than the Embassy at Baymeadows. Breakfast was decent. The staff was so kind. The pool should be checked more often. There were ppl letting their kids eat snacks too close and wrappers ended up inside.
- 4/5
never cleaned up
- 3/5
The staff was very nice and attentive and friendly, the down was that bathroom smelled like bad sewage when you flushed. The kitchenette didnt have much to it. 1 pan and 1 pot , the can opener was broken, 4 of everything. The bathroom floor needed to be mopped, Pillows needed to be replaced, they were very worn down/in and the sheets should be changed ti a different fabric , it was really itchy. Pool needed to be cleaned, but still not horrible. I think the room could’ve been better given it was a “Hilton” But it wasn’t horrible.

There was nothing that we liked. We had to switch rooms on our second day due to the stove and sinks not working properly. In our second room, the toilet wouldn’t flush. We had to get maintenance to come by our room twice to fix it. And we were also lied to about room service. We left our privacy sign off our door since we were going out all day and when we came back, our room was not serviced at all. We called the front desk and the girl that was there told us that they don’t service the rooms and the only time they do service the rooms was when you check out. The next day, we left our privacy sign off our door again and our room was serviced. We complained to the front desk and have yet to speak to a manager. Worst experience ever!

The first night the water pressure was so low the toilet wouldn’t flush and I couldn’t shower. The next morning the water was not working at all. I was told it was the 4th floor pressure and I would get a new room later in the day. I returned from my jobsite and was told I couldn’t get a new room and the problem would be fixed. The water was finally working in my room at 11 pm, but no hot water. The next morning, no hot water. I spent two days not being able to shower and a dirty toilet.
- 3/5
I booked through Expedia! When I arrived I was charged again . The lady checking me in was on speaker phone with someone else and I never knew when she was talking to me or the phone. I felt this was very rude. The stay was fine. Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. Carpets dirty. Windows you couldn’t see out of.
- 2/5
The staff at the hotel are very nice! The hotel itself is dated and in need of repair. The air conditioning in the room was marginal at best. There are no usb plugs at all in the room I had. I would not stay there again
- 3/5
Paint peeling off on the tub
- 5/5
Great location, close to lots of restaurants a Publix just across the street which comes in handy when you have a full kitchen in your hotel room
- 5/5
Feeling safe & felt secure at night while walking our dog.
- 5/5
Plenty of areas to walk safely. Good lighting at night., able to walk our dog without feel afraid.
- 2/5
This hotel definitely needs a deep cleaning. Cabinets and chairs in our room were sticky to the touch and dead roaches were inside where the plates were. The bathroom looked like it was quickly wiped off and not really cleaned. Carpet had not been vacuumed in some time. Hotel never had any wash clothes or towels cleaned. We had five guests in our room and was only given 3 towels and 3 wash clothes. We had to ask for some every single day and was always given the same answer that they didn’t have any and would bring them by later. Hot tub would not get hot and staff had no idea what to do or how to find out. The only good thing about our stay was it was close to our ball tournament location and the lady that checked us in the first night was wonderful. Unfortunately the other staff was not so much. Our room was never cleaned or trash taken out even though we requested that option upon booking.
- 2/5
the paint was terrible the elevator was scary to get in and the A/C was hard to control on top of that the washing machine broke and we didn’t get notified about it i had to go down stairs twice before they mentioned that and we had to use pool towels..
- 3/5
Hotel was ok. Location was great as it was near alot of shopping and restaurants - we booked for a concert at Jaguars Stadium and it was close enough and far enough from the price hikes of hotels. The service was great-check in was quick and easy. The room was very dated and a little dirty. Lots of dust everywhere. Beds are very uncomfortable. There's a bar close by that plays very loud music until about 2 am so just be aware of that. We only stayed a night and that's about all we could of handled. I wouldn't book again.
- 1/5
When I attempted to check in they informed me they had overbooked and I didn’t have a room. So I had to find another room.
- 1/5
Amy did apologize for the matter as she gave me my receipt with a zero balance. She also asked me if the toilet in my room 222 was fixed and I replied “the worker who was attempting to fix the toilet in the room was just here you should have asked him if the toilet was fixed; and the worker should have reported back to you right away since this was a time sensitive matter. The worker did assist me on the elevator and appeared at the counter as I was checking out with Amy, but Amy never asked the maintenance worker if the toilet was fixed. I felt discriminated against since the hotel was not sold out.
- 3/5
Room was ok for a night. King suite was small, people above us were super loud and we could hear everything until about 2am. Staff were nice.
- 4/5
Would not recommend the pull out couch bed for an adult, but the kids loved it.
- 1/5
The hotel parking lot had metal rods stucking up that ripped out the underside of my vehicle. The toilet also had hairs in it.
- 5/5
Property was great and in a great location.
- 5/5
When I was checking in, the lady checking me in let me know that they have a complimentary wine and beer tasting for the customers. How cool is that! The front desk clerk also helped me get onto their WiFi portal and gave me water for my room. Service was a 30 out of 10 rating!
- 4/5
The female who checked us in was wonderful, but the bed in our room had a visible sag in it and hurt my back to sleep on it. The woman who checked us was not available until we called out for someone to attend the desk, she did not ask about our stay, and was dismissive.
- 2/5
The check in process was seamless. The lobby and breakfast areas were clean. The room however was dirty. Stains on the curtains (looked like blood), walls, heavily stained floors (to the point where a floor runner was placed over a section of the carpeted area), chairs, and sticky door handles shows there is a lack of attention to detail. Additionally, the carpet and furniture smelled poorly. Renovations need to occur on the rooms. I will not be staying here again while staying in Jacksonville.
- 5/5
We stayed at Homewood for one night after a football game. It was perfect. The lady at the front desk was very warm, friendly and welcoming! Our room was great, very comfortable. The location was about 10 mins from St John's Town Center, with an abundance of restaurants and shopping. I will plan to stay again for the hotel comfort and location!
- 5/5
Just some areas seemed warm down although it was clean.
- 2/5
Used to be nicer. IT NEEDS an update and deep cleaning. Elevator is extremely slow. The service sticker on the elevator was expired. Room service cleaning needs to be done daily. Not every three or four days.
- 5/5
Great!!!
- 1/5
Check in was at 3:00. We had 2 rooms reserved. Only one was available when we arrived. The other was not ready until 5:30. The only explanation was that it was taking a while to clean because the room was “really bad”. Breakfast was horrible so we left and went to Cracker Barrel.
- 5/5
Pleasant staff, great breakast and a good nights sleep!
- 5/5
The stay was great
- 1/5
The room was half cleaned, and I woke up to a cockroach crawling on me.
- 3/5
Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are outdated, only get cleaned every 4 days. Breakfast was ok.
- 2/5
The lady at the front desk when we checked in is very pleasant. But this hotel definitely needs to be updated and thoroughly cleaned. We were greeted by a musty smell right when we opened the door to get in the room. Bed linens and shower curtain looked like it hasn't been changed in a while. Bathroom floor is dirty. To top it all, I saw a bedbug crawling in the ceiling right before we checked-out. I told the front desk on the way out, hopefully it'll be addressed. Good thing we only stayed in this hotel for 1 night, a very eventful night at that, we didn't bother having breakfast, we just wanted to get out of there in a hurry. I don't like to leave reviews but I think this horrible experience needs to be shared.
- 4/5
There were never enough towels or bedding. The front desk never had any during the 3 nights we stayed
- 5/5
I loved this property 10/10 this was the most spacious hotel room I've ever stayed in for a decent amount of money. 2 queen beds AND a pullout sofa bed? Yes, please! Also very clean.
- 4/5
Time for a remodel and update.
- 5/5
This is our thirteenth year to return to this hotel for annual medical trip. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Personnel very friendly. Highly recommend.
- 5/5

Codes do not work cannot see all checkin . Hotel do not have reservation
- 3/5
Our rooms were not ready until 5:30 and 5:45 but check in was at 3:00. The carpet in one room was destroyed however management did upgrade me to another room. We were rushed to attend our 7:00 event and could not get dressed properly or rest before going since we checked in so late.
- 5/5
GOOD PLACE
- 5/5
This is my favorite place to stay, by far the best in that area
- 3/5
We have stayed here many times over the years. The property is becoming run down. Needs some TLC. I doubt we stay there again.
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the smoking area is right by the pool. Additionally, no towels at the pool. All in all would stay here again.
- 4/5
The staff was great and friendly, the guy who checked us in was really friendly and gave some recommendations. We had 2 separate rooms one room was more updated than the other but smelled like cigarettes and the garbage cans were a little dingy. The other room the bathroom ceiling above the tub was peeling and lots of dirty spots all around the doors and door frames. It was a decent stay but I won’t stay here again in the future.
- 2/5
Overall, it was a decent hotel. The front desk clerk was pretty rude when I requested an additional towel and rag. She also had the audacity to say, "you gonna have to come and get it because it's just me here." I walk down and get attitude, demanding that i bring my dirty towels with me. Not sure why I had to go through that when there was another gentleman behind the desk with her on the phone wearing a Looney Tunes tshirt. There was large bags of smelly trash near the elevators both days I was there, all day. Lastly, my room smelled like pet urine - very strong pet urine.
- 5/5
Wonderful experience
- 2/5
There were small roaches in our room, the ceiling looked like they had just threw a patch of paint over it after ripping the ceiling fan down. The customer service was pretty good but rooms need work and pest control
- 3/5
Came back to JAX for my granddaughter's HS graduation. Was joined by my son, who flew in from Germany for the occasion. The lovely young woman who checked us in apologized profusely because she was unable to upgrade us to a 2 bedroom suite based on my son's active duty military status as the reservation was made via Expedia and not directly with Hilton. He ended up on the very, very uncomfortable and noisy sofa bed. As former Jacksonville residents, we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. We expected better from our old hometown. The carpet was very dirty. We didn't dare walk barefoot on it. There was a used washcloth under the bathroom sink. The insides of all the wastebaskets and recycle bins had food residue on them. My son returned to Germany 2 days before I checked out. The night he left, I saw, and killed, 2 roaches in the kitchen near the trash/recycle bins. We had precious little in the way of food containers to throw away, and all were rinsed out before landing in the bins. I found the food residue when I pulled the plastic bags out to dispose of whatever was attracting the bugs. I previously stayed in the Homewood Suites at St. Johns Town Center, and found it to be much nicer as far as the condition of the room furnishings and cleanliness. Daily housekeeping is no longer offered. It must be requested the day before. I don't know if this is a Hilton policy or property management policy. Daily cleaning is essential & should be resumed.
- 5/5
Check in was great.
- 3/5
They stay was pleasant. The room could have been cleaned better. The bathroom cleanliness was not up to par and I had to buy some Lysol wipes from CVS across the street. The room was smaller than I expected but it was overall a decent stay. Pool was a bit dirty but I used the net and cleaned it myself so the kids could enjoy. It was a good location for me so I dealt with the minor issues. The hotel has a lot of potential if it were cared for a bit better
- 4/5
The stay was okay. I didnt like the fact that you have to have a deposit of $25.00 per NIGHT even though this was paid in full already.
- 5/5
Comfy and spacious room. There were extra linens in the closet for the pull out couch which was nice to have them already available. Shower was a little dirty but room was clean other than that. All of the staff was very friendly & accommodating. Very quiet hotel; I couldnt hear other patrons while in my room. The lobby is keycard entry.
- 5/5
We were extremely pleased with the entire one night stay! Clean property and extremely kind welcome. Could walk to a great restaurant when we checked in.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. Having the two bedrooms/bathrooms was wonderful for our family. The kitchen set up was great. Breakfast each morning was appreciated. The hotel was close to shopping and restaurants. All in all, I look forward to staying here again.
- 5/5
Hotel was great, just as advertised.
- 5/5
The staff was excellent and extremely helpful.
- 3/5
Smooth check-in, friendly staff. However, the cleanliness of the room and property was below average. Needs some updates!

There were several cockroaches in the room. Very unpleasant experience. Very basic breakfast ...underwhelming.

It was peaceful and quiet. I had and undisturbed stay which was important as I had a granddaughter in the PICU unit at Children’s Hospital. The room was clean with one exception, the carpet needed to be steam cleaned. The carpet itself was in very good shape that there were several stains. I would stay there again as my top choice.

Our stay was clean and comfortable I think we got it for 129 a night which was good. The lady at the front desk always was polite and kind and we rested well in the room the air was cool and you could adjust it how you like. The shower had good pressure and was hot.

The Best stay in Jacksonville! I have been traveling to Jacksonville very frequent in the past 4 months and I have to this was the BEST overall stay. The only downfall to my stay is how late the pool opens. It would have been nice for my 4 year old to go to the pool before our 12pm check out

Hilton is known for they're quality standards no matter where your at a 5 star location or a 3 star. This was such a poorly kept one. It looked newly built but our room looked like someone had just checkout, there was food left under the sofa . The whole room was so musty and damp, ofcourse with Florida weather I understand that. We stayed for 4 days and housekeeping never came. We asked for extra towels and sheets and made our own bed. I understand with COVID its about social distancing, but keeping a room clean and tidy is part of keeping COVID at bay.

As a result, I believe that this Hilton hotel was one of the many "victims" in acquiring enough help to run it as expected (with customer satisfaction in mind). For our stay at the Homewood Suites, there were the following Pros and Cons: Pros: Available staff was friendly and efficient - no complaints per their work. Cons: Rooms were not scheduled to be cleaned daily due to lack of cleaning staff. Cleaning of rooms was done on request-only basis. Change of bedding and towels had to be initiated by us (the guests). Garbage bins in hallways were not emptied regularly, leaving stacks of garbage bags in the hall for a good part of the day. The swimming pool closed at 6pm every day instead of the "usual" 10pm. Full, hot breakfasts, normally available, were unavailable during our stay. Other Hilton properties (like the nearby Hampton Suites upon a visit to it) had full, hot breakfasts available (as well as normal pool hours). The hotel's front door was only accessible by a room card key, a bit inconvenient if one was returning with a load of packages, etc. Finally, it appeared to me that this hotel was chosen as temporary housing for the homeless (probably due to COVID). Not an optimum thing for a paying guest - it could have been a reason the front door was closed to walk-ins.

Staff very friendly, hot to go breakfast was very good, room big enough for my kids to have space. Pool was only open 12pm to 6pm which was strange.
