Very nice property. If you are disabled make sure you verify with the property that they will place you in the room you are expecting. We booked a King Bed with a roll-in shower. They had us in a room with a tub. Thankfully they had one room left that met accessibility needs.

They keep your room clean every time you go out and come back your bed is made for you . Very good service will recommend this hotel for everyone

Amazing hotel! Exceeded our expectations despite low price. Brand new building with modern design, delicious breakfast (incl) and friendly staff. Every corner is brand new and spotlessly clean. Definitely overpriced for the condition of the rooms. Our room had marks and stains on the walls and floors. (Many of which I was able to clean with disinfectant wipes so basic hotel cleaning is lacking.) The bathroom has mildew in the shower and multiple cockroaches were found in the room during our stay. It smelled horrible but we coped with a strong candle and room spray. Breakfast staff was lacking as both coffee machines were down and she was unaware because she was in the back area on her phone. Positives- breakfast area was well stocked with grab and go items, which we appreciate when staying in Jacksonville for medical appointments. Staff was receptive and friendly.

My stay was wonderful. The staff at checkin were polite and helpful. The woman at checkout (who was training when I checked in) was absolutely amazing. I wish I had gotten her name because she was very personable while dealing with three things at once. The room itself was very comfortable and roomy. While there were a lot of people coming through and sitting in the lobby at different times of the evening, they seemed to be at least tied to the hotel to some degree and not random stragglers. Breakfast was...adequate. Whoever made the bacon must not like it (lol) and the eggs were probably powdered, but everything else was fine. I would definitely stay here again and maybe just peek at breakfast before deciding whether or not to McGriddle it.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. My wife and I stayed here for four nights. On the first night, we found blood on our wall. We went to the front desk who offered to clean it, but we said that we would do it ourselves. On the second night, we found ants by the microwave and coffee machine, just a bunch of little baby ants, crawling all on the walls. At this point, we asked to switch rooms. They switched our room for the third night and that next morning my wife found a baby roach in the bathroom. At this point we were too fed up with everything to complain AGAIN. I have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express’ that were very nice and clean so I was very surprised at this. We did speak to the manager who gave us some IHG points for our troubles which we appreciate but overall our experience was not what we hoped for. The area/location is very nice though with lots of restaurants nearby, that was the best part of this stay.

The staff at the kitchen (breakfast service) they’re not friendly and the caught up time is supposed to be 0930 we went there like 15 minutes before there’s no more food there but we saw them have their own plates with all the breakfast they serve eating. We only have the bread to toast and the coffee and yogurt at the fridge. I understand the caught time but they should consider other customers too until the exact time for them to close

This is our second time staying here. We love the beautiful lake we can walk around and the close amenities that are in walking distance. The employees were very attentive and kind. Only wish breakfast was open a bit later than 9:30 am. Otherwise, we had another wonderful stay! We will return☺️. Thank you for all you do.

Room layout and cleanliness was great except the moldy caulking in the shower. Bed was comfortable and there were lots of linens. Coffee maker in the room worked great so I didn't have to go downstairs to get coffee.

The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. The room could have been cleaner. There was the remnants of spilled something all over the wall near the bed, and the bathroom had walls patched that had not been painted, the grout was pretty dirty, and the tub surround had a lot of mildew. Was not “nasty” by any means, but definitely could have been a cleaner feel to the room. Common areas were clean. The breakfast was very good.

The front desk staff were nice and always greeted me whenever I walked by, the housekeeping team always made sure that all towels and room clean and organized, and the breakfast attendants were very nice and made sure that all food were available. The toilet didn't work when we got their but someone came immediately to check it. showed me how to get it to fill the tank with water so it would flush. Let the front desk know and they said they would put an order in for a plumber.

We never stayed due to a security issue at the location. Our stay dates were supposed to be 11/21 to 11/23, but somehow we are asking to review for 11/20 to 11/22. The hotel desk clerk would not refund our full stay. There was some suspicious non-hotel activity going on and we did not feel safe.

I liked the area . Had a lot of places to eat and very essential stores around. Beauty lake in front of the lake and nice area to walk around . Was able to get a complimentary tooth brush since my got lost during my travels. The whole hotel felt very very Humid. My room had the A.C running but it was very very humid. I was not able to sleep comfortably . Very confused by the reviews since a lot of them didn’t mention the temperature being a problem. There was also a very huge gap under the door. I’m not sure if that affected the temperature of the room but you could also hear what was happening outside.

What a great place to stay. Staff was amazing, the breakfast was the best we have ever had at a hotel, The rooms were spotless. Mattress and pillows super comfortable—wish we could buy the mattress! Generous with pillows and towels without even having to ask. Shades were perfectly blackout. Heat/AC worked perfectly. Shower head pressure and water temperature consistent and excellent. Ice maker was always full and fast. Elevators quick and available. Nice areas to take your dog out with a station for bags and waste. Honestly absolutely nothing to complain about!

Front Desk was kind, friendly and interacted with my toddler like an important guest. Room was clean and organized, breakfast was good. Overall experience was one to never forget.

Staff was courteous and kind, they even exchanged bills for coins so we could do our laundry. Bonus points for the hotel itself, as we were staying over the week of Christmas, that they run on less staff than usual on Christmas so those that would like the day to spend with family could.

Motel we have ever been to! We stayed 2 nights and we have not one negative thing to say about it. I don’t eat breakfast but my husband revel about the breakfast selection. Knot just biscuits but biscuits AND GRAVY. Needless to say, he loved the breakfast!

Since this seems to be a relatively new hotel everything looked very fresh. Room was great, clean, neat and well designed. Breakfast was best ever for the breakfast bar amenity. Those cinnamon buns are like good pastry-not heavy and bread-y. Location great for our needs and could walk to eateries and Publix. Staff extremely friendly and breakfast crew always on top of making sure dishes filled and most importantly that brilliant pancake maker was working-it seems a bit finicky but makes really decent pancakes. First one I had seen.

The staff was good. The issue I had in both rooms I was assigned was too much humidity in the air in the rooms. The temperature definitely got cold enough, not saying the room didn't get cold enough but it was like thick & damp & the air needed dehumidifying. I had trouble breathing well so due to this I didn't stay as long as I would've. Instead I went two doors down for the rest of my 2+ week stay. I wondered if I was given less than par rooms because initially I'd booked through expedia. You all lost a lot of business. Not to say I'd never stay again just would leave if at check in the air was thick like that again. The place could use some updating but the staff were all very kind. Oh another thing, maybe when you remodel, don't allow pets in every single room. Many of us have allergies & don't care to stay in rooms where animals are allowed. Designate only certain rooms as pet rooms instead of contaminating all the rooms & carpeting. Oh, did I also mention the staff was good?. They were & I hope you'll acknowledge that. How about an update to those air conditioners or a remodel? That would definitely assure repeat business. By the way, The staff & manager at the Hampton Inn were excellent. The rooms were not damp & the air conditioner functioned appropriately.

The AC first night was doing too much noise so I couldn’t sleep. Following day got fixed. Water on sink was smelling… Nice staff nice breakfast clean

Check-in was easy but when I noticed the view from my room was the roof of the driveup/checkin spot and mentioned that to checkin person thatview was nice. Her reply was glad you like it. Not what I wanted to hear.

Everything was wonderful

Check in was easy and staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful. Issue was moisture in the rooms (yes multiple/ we finally went out and bought our own dehunidifier as the carpet, bedding was wet from moisture. Emptied 5 gallons of water from dehumidifier over stay or two nights. Again, the staff tried and we went through multiple rooms trying to find one that wasn’t saturated but finally gave up as it was already 830 pm and we needed to get ready for bed. Breakfast was good, place was nice and clean and only issue was the wet rooms. We appreciate the stafff very much as they tried to help but it was not their fault- it’s poor design of a/c and ventilation.

The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very clean and had good water pressure in the shower. The continental breakfast had good selection and the staff were very attentive. It is conveniently located near many shopping and eating locations as well as sports complexes. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Clean and comfortable

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Florida! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a mini fridge that made it convenient to store our food and drinks. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious, which was a great way to start the day. One day we went out, and when we returned, the room was spotless with the bed made and fresh linens—it felt so welcoming. Room service was also excellent, always quick and attentive to our requests. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Great breakfast included. The staff is very courteous and helpful with questions. I stayed there in Jacksonville on my way down to Fort Myers and then stayed again coming back. This will be my go to hotel.

My flights were severely delayed causing me to have to divert to Orlando and then drive another 2 hours to this hotel in Jacksonville. I arrived at 3:30 a.m. as a result and when I got there I couldn’t find a soul to get me checked in. I searched everywhere, called the front desk many times, but nothing. Finally after 25 minutes the front desk person walked through the lobby doors and apologized as she had just given a co-worker a ride home. So… she abandoned the property with no one else there for how long? At least 30 minutes since I had been there for 25. So unbelievably negligent and absolutely frustrating when all I wanted to do was get to sleep as quickly as I could. No clue why anyone would think leaving a hotel with hundreds of guests completely unattended was a good idea but it happened here and made for a rough ending to a really long day!

Property seems clean, new and fresh. Breakfast displayed nicely and a nice variety. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and updated.

I don't stay

Experienced cleaning issues with all the 3 rooms that we went and checked consecutively, so we cancelled our stay and found a room at the next door.

The room cleanliness and the comfortable furniture were exceptional.

Got to my room 211 smell was so bad we asked to change room. We had paid extra for a suite. Non left. I asked if we would get a credit. Was told not possible. Ok get to new room 301 still smell bad and it has an arm chair with a 12 inch radius stain on it. This is the dirtiest hotel and the smell in both these rooms are not in any condition to enjoy a good night sleep.

Our experience was great except that none of the usb charging ports in our room worked. Staff was nice and helped charge my phone the next morning. Hopefully they get them fixed.

Excellent stay. The room was nice & clean & spacious. We had a room with 2 Queen beds. I loved their breakfast. They have delicious cinnamon rolls. I also love that they had egg white omelettes w/ veggies as an option, and they had regular omelettes with cheese & scrambled eggs. They have a pretty nice fitness center for a Holiday Inn Express. It was larger than other ones I’ve stayed at. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Jacksonville.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! The complimentary breakfast was great. We enjoyed the nice clean room and to our surprise, soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner was provided. We enjoyed the pool and there was a nice gym and laundry area if you needed it. Lots of eating options were in walking distance of the hotel as well. We will be visiting again in the near future.

Our family always stays here when we are in town. We will be back in town next month and booked our stay before we left. The staff is amazing and so helpful

Checking was easy. The room was big but smelled musty. There is carpeting in the rooms which IMO should be replaced by LVP. There were stains on the pull out sofa and the shower needs re-grouted. Breakfast was included and good. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel is ok, prob what you expect for holiday inn. The bathroom is very basic, housekeeping never cleaned out the sink each day which is kinda gross. Not 100% sure but I don’t think the sheets were changed either and we stayed 4 nights. Staff is very nice tho, breakfast I was happy they had soy milk and Greek yogurt. Coffee was ok. The room smelled musty and felt humid. The AC made a lot of noise. Window shades are blackout which was great. Appreciate that they always left clean towels and more than enough.

I’m honestly confused by the number of excellent reviews. Our experience did not match the rating at all. We stayed in a mobility-accessible room, and from the moment we walked in, there was a strong, unpleasant odor—similar to urine—which never went away. While we understood and respected the room’s accessible design, there was virtually no counter space to place toiletries. There was also a large gap under the adjoining door, which made it extremely noisy at night. We could hear everything from the room next door. On top of that, the AC randomly turned off during the night, the bed sagged in the middle, and the pillows didn’t smell fresh. Overall, this stay was far from restful or pleasant. I’m not sure how this property received such glowing reviews, but it wasn’t our experience.

Cleaning crew was out early and very loud in the hallways. Talking to each other and laughing really loud. Which is fine to have a good time but not when others are trying to sleep
