I had a decent stay, the hotel was clean but completely empty. Most of the lights were off in the lobby at night. The morning breakfast was nice as it included yogurt and various cereals as well as some eggs. The room and bathroom were clean. Overall good stay!

We were in town for a cruise. This location is very close to Jax port if you are cruise. Facility and rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 2.5/5
Friendly staff and good breakfast Water line break, water line break, lots of kid running above our room and noise. Not much rest. No hot tun, key cards not working ro outside doors or not locking at all, handicap chair motor missing.

Close to port clean and comfortable beds

The hotel’s close proximity to start our commute the next morning was convenient for our stay. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, and I showed the front desk a video I took as proof. There was also a bug on the blinds. The breakfast was meh. The pancake machine was not making pancakes correctly, the omelets were nasty, and both the Cinnabons and banana nut muffins were really sweet. The dining area was a little warm, but it was clean.

This time around, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville Blount Island absolutely delivered. From the second I walked in, the presentation and customer service were flawless. The lobby was clean, the staff was friendly, and nobody looked at me like I was inconveniencing them by existing. That alone deserves applause these days. 👏 Now let’s talk about my hotel pet peeves because I am VERY particular: I hate when hotels give you: * One sad little towel that feels like you’re drying yourself with a tortilla. * Shampoo bottles with enough product for exactly half your head. * Half-used toilet paper rolls hanging on for dear life. * Beds so stiff you wake up feeling like you lost a fight with a parking lot. * TVs so small you need binoculars from the bed. THIS HOTEL CAME PREPARED FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME. 😂 I walk into the room and immediately notice: Two full towel sets hanging perfectly small towel, medium towel, big towel TIMES TWO. Then I open the cubby… BOOM. Backup towels sitting there like the hotel knew I overreact emotionally after showers. Bathroom? Fully stocked. Not one not two but FOUR toilet paper rolls total. My anxiety immediately disappeared. 😭 The soap, shampoo, and body wash situation? Beautiful. No tiny empty bottles looking like somebody else already survived off them before me.

The hotel is very convenient to the cruise port and easy to locate. Our room was very nice and large, but when we arrived, there was some dirt and sticky residue on the floor and a little dirt on the couch. I called the desk and someone came and cleaned that immediately. Breakfast was great! Parking was free and just right outside in their parking lot.

The doors didnt close unless you maqe sire they close and lock. The side entry wasnt never loced and it was in a wooded area
- 5/5
Nice staff and very clean
- 4/5
We were initially greeted by a friendly attendant, which is always nice to get off to a good start. The room was fine, but the noise level due to adjacent road noise late and early. The breakfast buffet was good. The toilet could use some work.
- 4/5
Typical Holiday Inn , very nice but not over the top.
- 5/5
The room I was in the bed crackled everytime we moved need a new box bring but overall I enjoyed my stay.

We were highly disappointed. Although we booked through Expedia, we are long time Marriott BonVoy members & this was NOT Marriott quality at all. 1st we got the wrong room. Hours after checking in, I went to front desk & heard a man checking in, last minute with NO RESERVATION & got the room that we were suppose to have!! Really?... 2nd, The hotel had NO TV SVC. Absolutely no TV. After driving from VA, we had very specific plans on how we would end our VERY LONG DAY/NIGHT. Can we survive without TV? Of course, BUT this should be expressed PRIOR to checking in!!!! It was terrible & then found out they lied because they have been having this problem many days before even got there. Woke up in middle of the night _ saw a huge bug crawling out of our room, into the hallway, under the huge gap of room door. Thank God I couldn't see exactly what kind of bug it was in time. That was God because if it were a certain bug, I would have lost my mind....Just not the Marriott standard that I'm used to.

This my husband and I favorite number 1 getaway spot in Jacksonville. The facility is always clean, spotless, staff very friendly and they make you feel welcome. Great parking. Good breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean room, decent parking. Nice breakfast.
- 1/5
There was absolutely nothing to do
- 3/5
Our room was clean but there was several bags of garbage out by the door to the pool. It was held open with a rock because the lock was broke.
- 5/5
The Holiday Inn Express at Blount Island is a treasure. Tucked away from the busy side of Jacksonville, it’s an ideal location for those who crave peace and quiet. The landscape is lovely with beautiful trees in the vicinity. In addition, it’s nice to know that the hotel is near a port where people embark on cruise ships departing to the Caribbean. Another bonus to staying there is that there’s an excellent Thai restaurant only two miles away from the hotel. The Holiday Inn Express at Blount Island is a good deal all the way around.
- 5/5
The whole experience was wonderful quiet nice clean very happy went with my husband and grandkids

Staff was so nice! Breakfast was amazing! Very clean overall very amazing experience will be booking here for every Jacksonville stay!
- 5/5
Incredibly clean and maybe the most comfortable bed I've slept in at a hotel!
- 5/5
Staff was really nice and rooms were super clean.
- 5/5
We booked this hotel to stay at the night before our cruise departed and we didn’t have any issues. Nice breakfast bar. Comfy bed and clean room. Our room looked to be updated. 3min from the cruise port and easy to get to. We would stay again.
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
Rude staff and management. Families with children beware! They have posted quiet hours (9pm to 6am) but you’re apparently not allowed to make any noise at all during the day. Manager will tell you to get your white trash ass out of her hotel and refuse to give you a corporate number to call a threaten to charge cancelled rooms to your card. Overall would not stay here again even if it’s the cheapest option(it’s not)
- 5/5
Clean room and nice stuff. Do not eat the fish at the Wendy’s next door as you will get sick.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean room. Beds were too clean
- 5/5
This is the only hotel in the area with easy cruise port access. The only restaurant nearby is a Wendy’s. The hotel offers a transfer to the cruise port for $20. If you are flying specifically for a cruise stay prior to getting on ship this is the best place to stay. However if you are looking at this hotel for a week of vacation it would not be ideal.

The TV had 4 channels and that's all they said it had been broken by another family but they showed not have rented it and heat did not work well
- 5/5
The guy(I believe his name was jaxcin) who checked us in was super nice and quickly got us to our room. The room was bigger than we expected and was clean.
- 3/5
Fix the pancake maker machine
- 5/5
Front desk (Rick) advised us as to seafood restaurants (excellent). Room was quiet, spotless, breakfast ample, price terrific.

All of the above. And the food was good. Very pleasant stay.

The room was an excellent condition and the staff was very professional and polite
- 5/5
The room was great. So nice as clean, breakfast was good, would stay again
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and kind, also the breakfast section was incredible
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 5/5
It was a very convenient location for my night before the cruise stay. It was clean, the beds are comfortable and the staff friendly. Breakfast was normal hotel breakfast. I was surprised that there was no coffee makers in the rooms. I was told that they supply 24hr coffee in the breakfast area now.
- 5/5
Yes spotless
- 5/5
Room was clean friendly staff felt safe
- 5/5
Nice clean room
- 4/5
Room was great for a couple trip !
- 5/5
Room was clean, cleaning staff was friendly. Hotel is not in a busy section so that was nice. I’ve stayed in this hotel before and will do again.
- 4/5
Great staff, clean rooms. Only downside is that there's no coffee pot in the room.
- 1/5
The staff (front desk representative) was rude and treated my best friend and I like teenagers. The shower door would not stay closed, the toilet would not flush properly.
- 5/5
Nice clean room. Staff is friendly.
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was excellent from check-in to check-out. We only stayed one night so didn’t need housekeeping but we ran into them in the hall and they were super friendly!
- 5/5
All the above . Little loud
- 5/5
Super friendly staff! Clean. Comfortable.
- 5/5
Clean room. Fast check in.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
One BIG problem with this property is the WiFi. It is almost nonexistent!! Smart TV but couldn’t stream or connect TV. Could not hold WiFi on my cell phone.
- 1/5
Check in was quick and easy. Once we got to our room and got settled, we found a cockroach. We went down to front desk and the gentlemen said that they will be to bring the sparyers out to the property AGAIN. He tried to play it off like it was no big deal. I asked to speck with a manager and i was informed that they were off until Wednesday. We were there on Sunday getting ready to take a 5 day cruise. The gentlemen did offer us another room however it was 2 doors down from the roo. we were already in. We declined. We then asked for a refund so we could go somewhere else
- 3/5
They don’t store luggage if you arrive before check-in. There isn’t a coffee maker in the room. We were on the side of the hotel closest to train tracks. The train ran all night and was generous with the horn. It wasn’t restful at all.
- 3/5
Was just average good breakfast
- 5/5
The room was very clean and tidy, as well as being well appointed. Very nice
- 2/5
Our bed was terrible. We were on ground floor facing parking and our blinds didnt close. When I told the person at Check in He said, Oh ya, they are broken. If you hang a sheet up, that should work. Then he gave me a sheet!! Luckily I had tape, although after 3 times retaping, we gave up. Sadly we had 2 nights booked and our friends stayed here too cause we were getting on a cruise!.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and accommodating. Location was perfect for pre cruise with a Wendy's next door
- 1/5
Check in at the hotel was 3pm we arrived at 4:30pm and our room was not ready. We had to wait till 5pm to be able to check in. Once in our rooms they look and feel clean. My sister and her family were a couple rooms down and she found a cockroach in her room, she went to talk to front desk and the would only offer her a room change which was across the hall from where she currently was.we took all our bags out to our cars to get them out of the rooms. I woke up to use the bathroom at 11:30 and there were cockroaches in our bathroom as well! Very disappointed, and grossed out!
- 3/5
Everything seemed mediocre. Everything was being maintained just barely enough. Breakfast was bare bones.
- 4/5
The hotel was perfect for a pre cruise overnight. The Palms Fish Camp restaurant is a $8.00 uber ride away. Food was great. There is a vendor who provides transportation to the port for cruise loading. $5.00 per person. Great deal. Only complaint was loud banging in 3rd floor hallway for a period of time. I get going in and out of your room but the whole floor shook mist of the evening. If I was cruising out of JAXPORT I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Very clean, well stocked, quiet. Good continental breakfast.
- 4/5
Sometimes you can’t find staff but other than our short stay was good.
- 4/5
No pancakes or waffles for breakfast. The bagels and coffee were good though.
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff is always friendly.
- 5/5
Very nice. Very clean rooms
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and professional and CC it’s close to the cruise line terminal.
- 5/5
So the “ocean view” was non existent, from anywhere in the building. The breakfast was decent. The pancake maker was having some issues though. Everyone was helpful and friendly. It was quiet and close to what I needed. I’d recommend it.
- 5/5
Yes to all
- 5/5
Clean room and very friendly and helpful staff at this location.. we will definitely stay here again
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and bed was comfortable, although i didn't have breakfast, it smelled really good and dining area was clean.
- 3/5
Cable/TV programming. No microwave. Shower pressure wasn’t great.
- 5/5
Staff very nice
- 4/5
Room was spotless, staff very friendly
- 5/5
Great !!
- 5/5
Clean , friendly staff
- 5/5
It was beautiful and right by the pier
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Mattress on the pullout couch needs to be replaced due to stains but everything else was nice
- 3/5
Housekeeping staff worked hard and tried to help even though it wasnt in their job description. Front desk staff spent more time hiding than actually at the desk. Sign said be back in 5-10 minutes, 45 minutes later they showed up. Would not answer the phone, wasn't even on the property. We were locked out of our room at this time and we had a two year needing a nap. Then on Sunday morning, when most people are checking out the elevator quit working. We were staying on the top floor. The same lady who disappeared for 45 minutes the day before was again difficult to find and then never put an out of order sign on the elevator. Disappointed in the lack of empathy from the desk. The rest of the hotel was good.
- 5/5
Room ok, great staff.
- 5/5
Perfect for the cruise port. Nice and clean, modern looking. Only a five minute drive to the cruise port and really the only thing around anyway.
- 5/5
Great service and breakfast had options
- 1/5
I reserved a King room, which is more, and received a handicapped double. Manager said they didn't honor due to 3rd party reservation. After we got to our room we noticed the toilet would not flush, the automated drapes would not work and we couldn't open them. Also there was a loud squeal coming from the fridge. I returned to the front desk and told them. I asked for Mai and they never came.
- 5/5
It was clean, beds were comfortable. Great selection for breakfast.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Every was great! Our room was ready! The staff was friendly! We'll definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Rick at the front desk did an excellent job!
- 5/5
Very nice property. Loved our room. Breakfast needed more variety. Everyone very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Hotel was great, excellent staff, clean rooms, good breakfast!
- 5/5
its very clean.
- 5/5
Convenient to cruise ship terminal. Big room with plenty of outlets.
- 5/5
Room is nice and clean. Tiffany at the front desk was very kind and courteous.
- 5/5
Breakfast was pretty good. No problems.
- 5/5
Everything was absolutely wonderful!
- 5/5
Very easy check in and check out!
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Courtous effective communications. Super clean environment. Worth my dollars.
- 5/5
Great except for the people in the room above us. I think they were doing laps around the room. Haha!
- 5/5
Friendly front office staffing
- 3/5
My biggest complaint here was my room was sorta dirty. Also they gave us a room right across from the elevator and it always noisy. Breakfast at this Holiday Inn was pretty blah. Holiday Inn needs to step up their breakfast menu. Also, the fitness center door card reader wasn’t working, and the desk worker said the manager had a master key but they wouldn’t be in for like 2 hours, which was very unhelpful.
- 1/5
Stay anywhere else.
- 5/5
The hotel was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast could be better.
- 3/5
The air in the room was on but it was still sticky and had a very strong odor of mildew in the room.
- 3/5
I felt this was a pretty standard hotel experience, but at a much higher price than it was worth. Between the small room size, limited in-room features, and the location, I don’t feel the value matched the cost. The hotel staff, however, were very friendly and professional — that was definitely the highlight of my stay. While their service might have encouraged me to consider returning, the overall accommodations just didn’t live up to the price point and is steering me clear from coming back.
- 3/5
Rooms spacious and clean. Close to road and noisy rooms are not soundproof. Doors steady slamming could hear yelling from pool in second story floor room.
- 5/5
Everything was fine except for there was no welcome gift as mentioned and there was a old musty steel smell in the room other than that service girls checking in, etc. were very great
- 4/5
the room was clean and the staff although effective, were less than interested in there job of work, they gave me enough attention to check us in, but were not in anyway welcoming.
- 5/5
Parking was easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good
- 5/5
Convenient to EL Faro Memorial
- 5/5
We loved it!
- 4/5
Free breakfast options need some work. Parking was ok but filled up super fast . Staff was nice
- 5/5
This hotel was remodeled recently (at least part of the hotel). I think they added more handicap accessible rooms. They have thought of a lot of nice details, like a liquid hand soap dispenser by the sink. Not many hotels have that!
- 4/5
$40 shuttle.. i’d recommend you uber to the port
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 4/5
Everything was ok except lady at desk at checkout wouldn’t give me change for a 20 dollar bill.
- 5/5
We came to Jacksonville for a wedding and this hotel was a perfect place to get ready and relax before the event.
- 3/5
If you are cruising it's really close though there are significantly nicer hotels in the area. There was a Wendy's right next door which was not suggested to use because of the service, which was disappointing but we were able to order food and to take over to restaurants. There is a driver that they recommend for cruising or refer out for cruising and it works though you are unable to book the time with him so we booked an Uber. We did use him from the airport to the hotel. The staff in general were nice and I love the breakfast stuff. They were engaging and friendly. Leaving the cruise we found a hotel which was cheaper and significantly nicer but this works for a quick trip but know that it is not the bomb and not really to be showed off.
- 4/5
Everything was great. The only thing I didn’t like about the stay was the two queen beds were actually full size beds. They were comfortable but too small for a couple.
- 5/5
Wow! I really ENJOYED IT.!
- 5/5
Perfect breakfast
- 5/5
Food could have been better. No orange or juice choice available Pancake machine kept on stopping and needed attention But overall the stay was great
- 5/5
My son and I will be staying again! The front desk ladies, especially Amber were amazing. The kitchen ladies and the cleaning ladies were just amazing!
- 1/5
I unfortunately would not stay here again. The hotel smells bad, my room smelled even worse, and there were cockroaches in my room. The mini fridge was super loud and so was the AC when it turned on, as well as the other clientele at the hotel. The phones didn’t even call down to the front desk. I would choose somewhere else to stay if you have the option.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Proximity to port
- 3/5
Good
- 4/5
The room was OK. You could tell it hadn't been renovated in awhile due to the rusty shower rod. The bathrub was too slippery when taking a shower.
- 5/5
bed comfort
- 1/5
Roaches in the bathroom. Shower door wouldn't stay close without holding it with your foot. Juice machine not working at breakfast bar.
- 4/5
New updates and friendly staff - only there for one night but our room smelled like it was cleaned with bleach and it was too strong the whole time - the juice machine and pancake machine was broken
- 5/5
Beds are comfy. I love the dove soap in the shower. Pretty clean room. No complaints. Check in was super easy and they were super friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again.
- 5/5
Great for a short stay...
- 4/5
Property in good and clean conditions
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, clean rooms and breakfast was very wonderful
- 5/5
We stayed the day before our cruise. Ms. Brenda at the front desk was an angel. She went above and beyond for us after a 10 hour
- 5/5
Everything was really nice. Breakfast had really good service and food
- 4/5
Needs more parking. Ty…
- 5/5
I will stay here again
- 2/5
Roaches in my room!
- 5/5
Great location. Helpful front desk. Good breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean, nice, and convenient to the port. Breakfast could be better. But there was a dunkin and wendys in walking distance.
- 5/5
Great stay.
- 5/5
It was awesome
- 4/5
It was a nice hotel near the Jacksonville Zoo. Nice room and comfortable.
- 5/5
All around very nice. Remarkably clean rooms. Nice bathrooms. Wasnt anything bad about this place....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!
- 3/5
Didn’t have a room available for us at check in.
- 4/5
The room was very comfortable and spacious.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Perfect for what we needed. So close to the cruise port.
- 3/5

perfect location for cruisers
- 4/5
It is difficult to find coming from the south.
- 5/5
the area outside around the property was noisy
- 5/5
Im going back
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. It looks like the property and all of the rooms have been recently updated. Everything is nice and modern. The only knock is that the place is a little secluded. Other than that very nice hotel.
- 1/5
Booked a room the staff was not polite and try to say we was smoking when its on camera by the front door each time we walked outside to smoke great breakfast but terrible staff
- 4/5
It wasn't bad or good. It was just ok. It was convenient
- 5/5
Awesome place 👏👏👏
- 4/5
It was a very nice Hotel, Brenda was very helpful to us, Next door was a wendys wich was nice, feed the gator that lives in the retetion pond!! We stayed before our cruise and it was a great location!!
- 3/5
It was a standard hotel. Unfortunately the pool was not working
- 5/5
Great location for pre cruise stay
- 4/5
Everything was good, except the pool was closed. The stuff was friendly. The breakfast was good.
- 5/5
A good property for those taking a cruise out of Jax, or visiting the local area. The staff was helpful and efficient!
- 5/5
The room was comfortable, clean staff was welcoming. The only thing I did not like was the bathroom did not have a vent, but overall it was a nice stay
- 3/5
Location is great for going on a cruise. Very close to the cruise port. But should have been notified that the pool was under construction. And person checking me in was not so friendly.
- 3/5
Unfortunately the pool was not operational while staying there, which was such a disappointment for the kids. Also on website I booked a Queen Suite but the lady at the front desk tried to give us a smaller room. We had to go back and state we booked the queen suite on website, expected that to be honored.
- 5/5
Close to JaxPort
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Great place and close to Jax Port.
- 3/5
Pool was under construction and this was not made known when booking the hotel.
- 5/5
great hotel and grate staff
- 5/5
Caters to cruise ship. Great breakfast and staff.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 5/5
Lovely
- 1/5
This was the worst stay in IHG. The pool was closed for construction which wasn’t underway, the doors didn’t work other than main lobby , there were no blinds or drapes in room and outside light shining right into windows near beds.

We had a good stay and plan to stay again.
- 5/5
Was very nice rooms and service excellent. Breakfast included in the price of the room 5 minutes from the cruise ship court Port
- 5/5
Not the best location for restaurants and entertainment. Very clean and nice staff. In more of an industrial area
- 4/5
Property clean , staff helpfull

- 3/5

- 5/5
Great place close to the cruise port

I was upset that I had reserved two queen beds. And upon arrival was given one king bed and a sofa bed
- 4/5
Staff members were friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
But we were on the 1st floor and could hear every footstep from our upstairs neighbor. As well, our a/c seemed to be malfunctioning and a high pitch noise from the refrigerator. It caused for a unpleasant night.
- 5/5
Price is affordable! We had two adults and 4 kids! Plenty of room!! Smooth check! Room was clean! Very convenient right off highway! Breakfast was good for something quick! I would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Great place with a good breakfast. It’s right off the highway with friendly staff, very clean rooms, and a good breakfast bar. I think the only complaint I have is that the floors seem thin. Like, I could hear people walking throughout the building.
- 5/5
I loved staying here. It was comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful, thanks to Eileen!! She is fabulous. I will say, someone needs to update Expedia because there is NOT a hot tub, unfortunately. :( everything else was exceptional!
- 5/5
Need to take a moment to highlight Eileen, the breakfast attendant! She was the one of the kindest people I have ever met. Always making people feel special and welcome. She was constantly checking to make sure everything was clean and stocked. As a solo traveling female, her presence was so comforting, and her smiling face was a great way to start the morning. I’m so grateful! I will DEFINITELY be staying here again!
- 5/5
As close to the cruise port as you can get and easy access to interstate
- 5/5
The family and I really enjoyed our stay, it was welcoming and very clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast bar was amazing!
- 5/5
One night getaway was pleasant, our room was by the electrical room with noise sometimes through the night! which woke us up. Otherwise the property is very clean and modern
- 5/5
Amazing staff. Very accommodating. Clean rooms.
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and looked new or newly renovated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. My only disappointment was the breakfast which was just ok, consisting of mostly highly processed food.
- 5/5
Perfect place to stay when going on a cruise the next day.
- 5/5
Very clean rooms and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff, allowed us to check-in early. Good breakfest. I would highly recommend to stay.
- 4/5
Nice, clean, good breakfast
- 5/5
People at the front desk were not very friendly. Breakfast wasn’t that great.
- 5/5
Stayed there before. Convenient location
- 5/5
Great staff; allowed for slightly early check in.
- 5/5
Property is super convenient if you are cruising out of Jacksonville. Clean and safe.
- 3/5
Pool closed as well as hot tub. Front desk staff not very freindly
- 4/5
We were here during Hurricane Helen staff was great keeping us safe Location was close to cruise port we had to stay extra day due to cruise ship delayed by storm they gave us great rate
- 5/5
Wonderful Customer Service. Comfortable and clean. Great stay
- 4/5
Room was updated and clean, however there wasn’t a shower curtain in the bathroom
- 3/5
The term average fits this property perfectly. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the stay, but also nothing above average. This is a perfect place to stay when you are traveling through the area.
- 5/5
Great overall.loved it
- 5/5
Room very clean and comfy. Very close to carnival cruise port.
- 5/5
Clean, updated room, affordable and staff was friendly!
- 5/5
We like the convenience off of 295. Breakfast was good. Room was big. Coffee in lobby was good.
- 3/5
Close to cruise terminal, only 4 minutes. Hotel, although you paid to stay there does not allow parking. Cruise came in late, asked for a late checkout, waa quickly interrupted while asking, told no. We were in a suite. Treatment by staff not worth us coming back.
- 2/5
Requested a king bed was put in a double queen. Handicap room. Floors were not swept. Cockroach in the hallway. When we went to the front desk about concerns they were quite rude. Fencing around the pool was not kept up. Rusted and peeling paint. Teenagers were slamming doors and yelling until 2 am.
- 5/5
Was glad to me Zoey
- 5/5
Nice abd quiet
- 5/5
Our flight arrived early, so we arrived at the hotel way before check in time. The lady at the front desk was very informative and accommodating.
- 5/5
The hotel staff was super sweet and accommodating and the room was so super clean!! I’m very picky about my rooms. Will def stay there again when I book my next cruise out of Jacksonville. Food was ok but I’m a super picky plain breakfast person
- 3/5
Did not like the lack of parking due to pick-ups with their boats parked sideways taking up 6 spaces. Did not care for lawn maintenance noise outside my window startling me awake! I probably will not stay here again.
- 5/5
My flights were delayed and i arrived quite late to the hotel and my room was still waiting for me. That was such a relief after a long long long day of travel.
- 5/5
Everything was pleasant!!
- 5/5
Great stay for overnight before heading on cruise!
- 4/5
This hotel is pretty much it near the cruiseport and the zoo. Otherwise, the area is fairly deserted. Dining options are the Wendys next door or have it delivered. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The hotel looked clean. There was some traffic noise from the expressway but it wasn't terrible. If I were going on another cruise, this is the place that's the most convenient.
- 5/5
We stay at Holiday Inn Express Blount Island when we cruise out of Jacksonville and love it! The updates to the hotel this time are fantastic.
- 5/5
The room above us sounded like a herd of elephants and woke us up earlier than would have liked.
- 5/5

Very nice. Bed was Awesome! Enjoy it.
- 4/5
Was very good
- 4/5
The hotel was near our destination.
- 5/5
Nicely renovated place, excellent breakfast, special thanks to Eileen from the restaurant.
- 2/5
We were given the room by the elevator that is usually a housekeepers storage. Very loud all night. Toilet ran all night. And shower door would not stay closed- installed uneven, so you have to try to hold it closed with foot while showering so not to flood the bathroom. If you let go of it, it would slam open. Bed was comfortable and staff was nice. Also lower level is under construction. Very convenient to port.
- 3/5
The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. However, they work for Holiday Inn, not Orkin. So having roaches in a brand new renovated room was a little off-putting. Their was also hair in the shower and the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall.
- 5/5
Our stay was great! So many friend staff members. VERY ACCOMMODATING! The breakfast was so good and they offer so much. I was leaving on a cruise from Jacksonville and the hotel was 5 minutes away from the port.
- 1/5
Construction zone with no running water for over 8 hours
- 1/5
Roaches in my room, manager didt care at all !!
- 5/5
Nice room and breakfast. Staff was nice at breakfast area, check in but check out was very slow and staff seemed not interested in checking people out quickly.
- 5/5
North Carolina. There’s plenty of places to eat with 15 min of the hotel.
- 5/5
Property is nice even with the work being done.
- 4/5
I would stay here again
