Staff was amazing! The desk clerk was fantastic! She made the check in simple and fast- this was by far the best stay. My husband was scheduled the following morning for a procedure at the hospital, she made the check in and check out effortless. It was also raining and when we went to get and out bag and came back in the lobby we were soaked. She gave us both a hand towels to dry with . This was the best hotel experience ever!

Everything, the location was good, staff was friendly, the bed was so comfortable, loved the large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion. Also the breakfast was good, nice selection of food, what I liked the most was the coffee machine! Definitely a plus for me! Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Quiet. Shower had great pressure. Staff was helpful. Bed was comfortable. My only problem was the room kind of smelled like cigarettes and the TV’s need to be updated to more modern ones. Would stay here again.

Perfectly priced for an overnight, work related stay. Missed breakfast but the 24hr coffee was a lifesaver. Even got to use the tiny gym for a workout, it has the necessary cardio equipment, bench and dumbbells. No complaints, would book again.

Breakfast was half decent At around 930pm when I was trying to get my kids settled, there was an alarm that was sounding off on my entire floor for over an hour. Had to keep calling the office. Very unpleasant. Also the bathroom need some work, I can tell that its dated and they need to change the lotion and bodywash bottles.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The front desk team was not only efficient but also incredibly thoughtful, ensuring everything was going well.

I’m only giving such a low rating, due to the shower not being thoroughly clean. There was still some dirty residue in some of the corners, and there was also questionable mold growing in the top corners of the shower. Other than that, the property and hotel was clean, and the staff was super nice. The bed was extremely firm and super uncomfortable to sleep on, so I got very little sleep during my stay. But if you love an extremely firm hard mattress, room 208 has the perfect bed for you by the window. They have the TV channels printed out on a piece of paper and that paper is laminated. However, the paper getting laminated was an after thought once it was wet, due to having black mold growing on the back of the paper inside the lamination. Needs to be thrown away ASAP! Needless to say, I did not touch that thing after seeing that, nor did I set any of my stuff on the table it was on. Great location on being close to the arena and other spots in Jacksonville. Love that the property locks the lobby doors at 10PM, so you’ll have to use your key card to get in. If it wasn’t for the shower, mattress, and TV channel flier. I would’ve give it 5 stars.

I had to be moved 3 times because of the rooms being dirty( blood on the floor, make up on sheets, water on the floor from fridge leaking, freezer moldy) I have pictures. I can say the staff was pleasant and moved me from room to room without an issue.

It was great. However, the microwave didn't heat up and I had to go to the office so they could heat up my dinner. Also, was looking forward to a hot bath after an arduous day of moving my kid into the dorm. I even requested a room with a tub. However, the plug didn't work and the water drained out. Bummer.

The room was clean, the breakfast was good, the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. There were 2 problems with the room. First, the a/c left the room cold and wet. Second, the tub drain was very slow. We were standing in 3 inches of water within 5 minutes.

This is probably my 3rd or 4th stay because I take my wife to Mayo Clinic for her appointments. It is a perfect place, great price and the hotel is clean, staff is very friendly and professional. Excellent complimentary breakfast.

I really enjoyed my stay here at this property. I would’ve given 5 stars for my rating, but I took away a star due to the mattress was very firm. I couldn’t sleep, due to the mattress was so firm. Besides the mattress, it was a very nice hotel.

The service was great, the room needed some updating but it didn’t bother us. What drove me crazy was the sound of the air conditioner. It made the most awful sound the entire time. I didn’t want to complain, we were only there for two nights.

I liked the property overall with exception of the smell. It had a stuffy old smell in the lobby and the room. Like it had been closed in and not aired out in a long time. The air disage a fresh scent nor a pleasant smell. Need to add air fresher and fresh air to get rid of that smell. Even thought the property looked clean the smell made it feel like it hadn’t been cleaned.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. They accommodated us by providing a free upgrade to a suite just so that we could be in the room adjacent to our relatives. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the food was excellent, with much variety. We've been to many hotels over the last 12 months, and found that this was the only one to offer a wide variety of breakfast options together such as scrambled eggs, omelets, bacon, pork sausage, turkey sausage, and more. We consider this top notch hotel for a very reasonable price!

I asked the attendant if I could speak to the manager who would have been able to make that override, so that my family could have a room for the night…to which I was informed that they were at home sleeping. I told the attendant that I’ve never run into this before…what happens if someone’s flight is delayed? I was told “this is a Holliday Inn Express…things work a little differently here because it’s an Express.” I asked what if anything she could do to get a bed for my 2 and 4 year old kids to sleep in…to which she said she could check me in at 3pm tomorrow during check in time. Thankfully, Expedia was able to provide me a refund directly, and I was able to get a room at the Marriott across the street with a single call and no questions asked by their staff.

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the USCIS office. The hotel is clean, quiet, with good parking. Staff were always friendly and available, they were awesome with our toddler smiling, chatting and playing with her. We also enjoyed the pool that was spotless.

Check in was super easy, friendly staff, full breakfast, clean room, and well-lit parking lot. Great for the price! Would stay again and only 15 minutes from the beach!

This stay was excellent, the staff on hand morning til night always friendly and helpful. Breakfast crew was also great. The handicapped parking was short but they mad better arrangement for me. I will stay here again. The pool guy really kept the pool so clean. This made my trip special because my visit was abot seeing ny sick son.

The window frame had what appeared to be mold growing but may be because it doesn’t look as if it’s been cleaned in months. The refrigerator still had food from another guest which means it wasn’t cleaned and the sink in the bathroom and shower were dingy. We stayed at the hotel for multiple doctors appointments and spent most of our time away from the hotel, the mattress felt like it had rocks inside of it. It’s obvious that they need to replace the mattresses and do some renovations to update the rooms. We didn’t have our room cleaned, as we always tried to avoid people coming in and out of our room, we always bring our own cleaning products in order to ensure the cleanliness of our stay. We will not stay at this property again. Staff were very friendly!!!

Room was old. Clean enough for one night on business. But I wouldn’t stay there with my family. Too old. But overall not a bad experience.

Would not recommend staying here. Smelled like marijuana in the hallways and coming into your room. Room was unclean. Hair found in bed. Floor was clearly not vacuumed. Bathroom was gross. I wanted to clean it just to feel comfortable. So much noise from the ice machine and elevator nearby and housekeeping in the mornings. The only good thing I can say is the front desk staff were so nice. They are five stars everything else is one.

We booked through Expedia. Our original booked room wasn’t available and they called me to upgrade me to a King room. When checked in we were upgraded further to a King Suite. Travel to the Town Center was easy there and back and great walking distance to Dave and Buster’s. Check in here is a breeze. It was indicated the pool is being renovated online and free parking is available. No vending from what I saw, signs point to their shop in the lobby. Breakfast is until 10am which was appreciated since not everyone is an early riser.

The hotel was clean and beds fairly comfortable. Housekeeping was very spotty.(was there 5 nights and only had them come 1 day the day after we got there). The desk people were wonderful especially Ashlee-absolutely fantastic! Breakfast was ok. Others have raved but it was basic.

Lydia the front desk attendant on the night shift was amazing. She was very helpful and super friendly. Lydia truly made our experience memorable.

Secondly Maria checked my garbage can while I was at Jax airport to retrieve baggage tag and texted me information after I checked out. This helped clear up traveling plans. Saved me from traveling back to hotel from Jax airport.
