The staff was very accommodating and friendly!

Property was beautiful, conveniently located near restaurants and entertainment. Only gripe I had is we received no housekeeping our entire 5 night stay, when we were told it would be every other day.

Do not stay here, again DO NOT STAY HERE. Hotel is fine, but it is aged. They need as much money as they can here and will make up bogus charges to hit you with after check out. Save yourself the money and aggravation and go somewhere else

Staff at night was nice. The day staff wasn’t fully 100% truthful about our cancellation. Not very happy about that. You have to pay to park on the app. The first room we were in had a bad old smell. The ac didn’t work so they moved us. It’s Ina good location if you like to shop.

The room was very clean, modern and the location was excellent to walk to the movies, ChikFila, Insomnia cookies and the beach and the St. John’s Town Center were a short drive away!! Loved it!!!

The facility and room was clean and nice. We’ve stayed here a few times before, but now they are charging for parking that we were not made aware of ahead of time. They also drafted our account three different times which put us the over limit for the day. Two of them did drop off, but it was a major inconvenience to have all those charges drafted at one time. We will probably not stay here again.

I was taken aback when the continental breakfast was a $10 charge. I wasn't expecting that. The free coffee had no flavors or flavored cream--A real standard nowadays. The breakfast time which I usually enjoy was empty of people (probably because of the charge) and loud. The tv was playing music very loudly. I enjoy a little music or the news in the morning while I read and drink my coffee. The rooms were great and the facility was beautiful.

Room was clean but a lot of noise coming from the halls. The bed was hard and the pillows were flat with no support, and one of the window blinds would not open or close.

This hotel does not offer complementary breakfast however you are able to purchase breakfast. Also, they charge $10 per day for parking even though there is a theater on the other side of the parking lot. Looks like a money, grabbed me.

The breakfast was not included and we would have to pay $10 just for a continential brrakfast or pay the menu price for certain items. The room was ok and we made do with what we had. There was a problem with the window cover so we had to manually roll it up in a handicap room. Mentioned that to the front desk folks as we were leaving.

First room had a big spider in it. I was moved to a room where the water drained in the tub super slow. I checked out a day before my scheduled visit and I also had travel protection on my room but I was charged the full amount.

Hotel is Ok, at par for lower Hilton. Listing says parking included but they charge $10 a night with an annoying 3rd party app. Breakfast is not included and sub par.

The Ice machine on the third floor didn’t work but it was loud.

Pretty run down rooms, shower is pitiful. It’s luke warm and no pressure. The soaps provided were either watered down or poor quality. The pool should be heated at this time of year and kept clean and provide towels. Charging options in the rooms are strictly old school, no accommodations for a C charger, I had to go and buy a cord. One candy bar was charged $10.00.

Everything was great except for the breakfast situation. It seemed like they were trying to get more money from you by charging for things that other hotels give you for free. Like breakfast. You can buy it. $40+ for 2 people or $10 for 2 muffins and water.

Staff was helpful and always working to make an agreeable outcome for us! Gym lacks in equipment. The hotel rooms and lobby are probably ready for a refresh - overall, clean though. Also, had to pay for parking to a third party…that seemed strange.

The shower heads all need to cleaned of the calcium deposits. And the pillows are substandard at best. I mean your head sinks to the bed. So plan to wake up with a neck ache.

The room was in good and clean condition but the heater wasn’t working. The room stayed at 70 the entire night even tho I had it set to 73. The door kept jamming, it would unlock but not open with my room key nor my app until it completely turned red. I had to visit the front desk to get a new key more than 3x during my ONE night stay. I’ve stayed at this hotel a handful of times and am very disappointed in this particular experience. Also I’ve stated this before that the lobby is extremely cold especially at night. At least 68 degrees F. I’ve been told this issue has been brought to managements attention several times but it never seems to be resolved. Definitely might consider staying at other Hilton hotels in the area for the future.

I'd give 4.5 if it were an option. Place was great and they were very accommodating and friendly, but the pool was filled with leaves and the hot tub needed to be cleaned bad! Very murky water. Aside from those items, great place and reasonable prices. Not far from downtown Jax and the arena (was there a NIN concert).

Great staff and my son enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Only issue was the room smelled a bit musty at first but that went away. Will stay again for The Donna.

I have concerns about the cleanliness of the establishment. Additionally, the breakfast was cold and of poor quality, and I was overcharged for the service provided. We had a couple of problems with our room and had to move to another. The HVAC system didn’t work and the room was extremely warm on our first night. Also, the commode would start running when no one was in the bathroom. This happened many times during the first night causing us to wake. We switched rooms the next morning and everything was okay. Overall good stay.

The staff is very friendly, and the location is excellent. The beds were comfortable. The sink in the room is too small and isn’t practical for more than one person. There were only two towels provided. The shower had very weak water pressure, making it difficult to shower. The coffee maker was quite dusty inside, which was off-putting. They had two water bottles in the room that were labeled as free for some guests, but others would have to pay $3 each for them. I usually bring my own water, but this kind of marketing feels unnecessary. Since this is a Hilton hotel, I was expecting a higher standard of quality.

I messaged the front desk in the app and when they didn't respond for 2 hours, I called several times and got no response. 4 hours later, they tell me, "I just saw this." With no apology. When I let them know I hard tried to call because they didn't respond to the text, their only reply was, "The phones were down all day?" "If phones are down, shouldn't you be checking messages?" Still no response over a week later.

Need to add ABC to channel lineup. Hallways smells like mildew. AC broke in the middle of the night and would not cycle off. Turned off AC but it would not stop blowing cold air.

As soon as we got off the elevator on to our floor the smell of mold and moisture hit you. They have portable AC/air purifiers in the halls running constantly. Our room smelled like a wet towel that had been left in a pile on the floor over a week. Our bathroom door was water damaged.

Very loud hotel, traffic noise heard from my room. The receptionist was kind enough to move my room but still noisy with several high powered fans running in every hallway. The fridge in the room was beat up & noisey buzzing all night so I had to unplug it. I just needed quiet to sleep but was difficult.

Room was a mess - door looked like it was busted in. shades had no remote - we couldn't open them. power/usb ports did not work on each of nightstands. toilet paper holder kept falling off, stain on chair, loud noisy mechanical unit running 24/7 plugged in through a room that had wires all over it and kids were playing in it. we asked front desk for engineer, they never showed they told us they did not have another room for us that was handicap accessible with king bed.

The staff was very professional and friendly. The location of this property was kind of odd but there are a ton of restaurants in the area and it's really close to St Jonh's Town Center. The hidden fees were insane though! Luckily I had the extra $300 they charged for booking through Expedia instead of their hotel's website. The desk clerk suggested that was the reason most people stay at an IHG hotel...

TV did not work, and the pool was very nasty. Even after the pool was cleaned it had a film on top of the water. The only thing good was the AC worked good.

There were two air moving machines (maybe an AC and a dehumidifier) in the hallway across from my room and it was o loud all night. I wasn’t able to sleep.

Yes the hotel clerk said my reservation was not valid despite me providing a confirmation number and showing my credit card was already charged. He said we had to use a different card so fiancee Yaminah Hawes had to use her card. I'm waiting on refund.

There were these air humidifiers that ran constantly on my floor due to new carpet. I was told the humidifiers were there to keep the carpet flat. In any case they were noisy and the carpet smells of newness were all over the floor. The morning staff at front desk were not very friendly but the evening shift were much better.

Hotel was very warm on the fourth floor, they had a very large industrial unit in the hall. Pool was dirty, hot tub was full of algae which was disappointing as I chose this location specifically for the pool and hot tub. Not sure that I will return.

Left my IPad at the hotel. Have of it being at the hotel at 702am while ai was in a dental office having oral surgery. Call several consecutive days and told it was not found.

The hotel was very nice. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, though smaller than expected. There are lots of restaurants around and a nice walking trail. Why not 5 stars: the hot tub did not work and was not cleaned. The pool was also full of leaves and not as in the pictures. I went with my kids and we wanted to spend time at the pool, so that was a let down. Otherwise? It’s a nice place.

This hotel was a 10/5! Would recommend. Friendly staff, clean, perfect area! I did think the bed was a little firm incase someone does not like that BUT the hotel stay again was amazingly perfect! My boyfriend and I will be back!

My experience at the Hilton was good. Clean, quiet, the staff was professional and friendly. The only issue was the refrigerator it didn’t get cold enough and my food spoiled. Something that needs to be looked.

Our room was on the top floor and incredibly spacious. It smelled fresh and clean the moment we walked in, and we were immediately impressed by the comfort and layout. It was perfect for our special getaway. The location is also excellent, close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing. We truly have no complaints. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, high-quality stay in Jacksonville.

I always stay with Hilton hotels but this location and staff need work to uphold the proper standard. Also, the hot tub jets need maintenance and there were no towels in the cabana. The floor I was on was very humid. I did not have breakfast at the hotel because the options were limited for the cost. Otherwise, great location and hotel if you don't plan on being in the hotel a lot.

Very overpriced for the accommodations. Would not recommend this property. Most places in the area will give you a discount for being out of town to go to the Mayo. They absolutely would not. You got 2 bottles of water!

The lobby of this hotel is unique, pretty, and inviting for a Hilton Garden Inn. I had reserved a king room, but upon check-in I was upgraded to Pure Room #428 when no kings were left. I had no problem with this at all. The room had a dehumidifier, all toiletries were hypoallergenic/paraben free, and it was on the corner overlooking a lake. It was very quiet, peaceful, and clean. When I return to Jacksonville to visit my son again, I would stay in this exact room again. Constructive feedback: In my career, I oversee operations and maintenance, so I noticed a couple of things that perhaps the average person would overlook. First, my room was on the 4th floor, and the exterior windows need a good wash. They were badly streaked and had green mold growing along the bottom and up the sides. I have seen this same issue at other hotels and usually it's because multilevel window washing only occurs 1-2 times per year. Another minor issue was that the handle of the hair dryer would not stay open unless you held it a certain way. It probably needs to have a little work done on it or replaced. Unlike most other Hilton Garden Inns, at this location you have to pay for breakfast. $10.95 for continental, or $19.95 for full buffet. I skipped breakfast at the hotel, but the coffee in the room and lobby was good. Overall, a strong 4 star rating from me.

Stayed a few weeks ago and loved it. Room was very nice-mattress was 8 out of 10 for comfort and sup but I have slept on a Tempurpedic for 30 years so I’m super spoiled. Had several nice amenities. So, booked it again and have been disappointed bc we didn’t bring along things that hotel supplied before and it wasn’t here this time… like real coffee mugs, nice hair dryer, bathroom night light. Mattress was definitely more worn and hair dryer was so sticky I had to wrap it in a tissue to handle it. The hallway carpet was all bunched up and smelled moldy.

It was a great stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms.

The hotel is nice. The staff could have been nicer. Also, breakfast was $19 and did not look very good (we opted out).

They charged me a $300 nonrefundable smoking fee when I don't smoke AND the alarm went off at a time that I was sleeping. Management refused to help me about me so I had to work with my bank to dispute the fraudulent charge.

Loved the hotel location. Staff was great and rooms were clean. Very disappointed that the hot tub was not operational at all during our 4 night/5 day stay.

Customer service was great, the ladies and the one gentleman I dealt with at the front desk were friendly and helpful when I asked questions about places in the area. They had a busy weekend with a bunch of teenagers staying for various sports tournaments and they handle it like pros and still made sure all guest were taken care of. The hotel itself was nice. The breakfast was fresh and well rounded. The pool was nice but having a separate out door area with a fire pit that allows smoking was a nice touch for the adults. I stayed from Friday to Sunday and don’t think I had a negative moment.

No room service for 3 days, very noisy at night, especially on the first floor

Hotel was adequate for a night stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Disappointed that despite the price, there was no free breakfast, a common practice in many of these type of hotels. Not surprised there were no takers as the price for the buffet breakfast was $20 per person.

Stayed a couple nights for my daughters wedding. Staff was amazing, my only complaint is that the bed was so hard itcmade my muscles sore for days after my stay.

This is our 2nd stay, and we will stay here every time we come to Jacksonville! Absolutely the nicest staff, cleanest rooms, quiet, comfortable & hottest showers!

16.99 for a watery egg breakfast? Crunchy pastries that shouldn’t be crunchy👀, honestly I enjoyed the stay I just can’t get over that breakfast nook is somehow worth the price 😂

Only complaint by my husband is they didn’t have coffee available throughout the day and in the evening.

We had to evacuate with our two dogs due to hurricane Milton. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly and kind and accommodating! Definitely a hotel to come back for vacation!

The front desk staff was awesome. Super friendly and helpful. The room was clean with plenty of towels. The complimentary water bottles were a nice touch. The only complaint is the site boasted a pillowtop mattress and goose down comforter, neither of which were in this room. The bed was not terrible, far from pillowtop, definitely more firm than I would prefer. The comforter was thin, but did the job. Overall it was a very nice place and we had a wonderful stay.

Bums in the parking lot duct tape on the dirty carpet in the hallways elevator stank

They didn't have my room and i had to settle for a lesser room due to the storm. Not to mentioned they over priced taking advantage of the storm.The sink was clogged and rooms were not as cleaned.

Our room was clean, well maintained and staff were very courteous and helpful.

Sense of urgency was lacking in the staff. Ants reported in my room and 2 days to handle issue. It was quite. Issue with staff response big with me.

Good hotel

Evidently it was not a free buffet although it had all the same things I’m use to seeing. They charge $16.95 according to the menu on a table. I saw it after I got a bowl of oatmeal and juice. Let’s see if they charge me after I spoke to manager

Easy check-in, friendly staff, and good breakfast options for most but maybe a few gluten free options as well for availability. All around great experience and would stay again if in the area again
