    I am 56 years old and traveled most of my adult life. I have two children, 9 and 7, and my wife who is 50. We drove 12.5 hours from Richmond to Jacksonville, just to stay overnight and on to Tampa. We arrived and I was assigned the wrong room we had 5 people, which I booked for, and they gave me a room for 4. I was told I would have to pay a 50 dollar upcharge. I discussed with the front desk person that I had booked a room for 5, and she told me the code was wrong and it was Expedia's fault. I told her I was not happy, never raised my voice, never swore in front of my children, as soon as I challenged her on the room she told me I didn't have to stay there, in fact, I could not stay there and cancelled my room and told me ( which she didn't since I waited 30 minutes in the lobby ) she called the police.... THE POLICE...to have me and my family escorted off of the premise. Called customer service with Hilton right there and then, they did NOTHING to correct the situation. Since I was near the airport went next door at 12:30 in the morning and got a room at the Springfield Inn, very pleasant, no issues. I have NEVER in my life been treated the way I was treated, along with my family. I will NEVER stay at the Hampton Inn or any Hilton property again, and I am a Hilton Rewards member. I will also let everyone I know how horrible they are. By the way, the whole conversation between me and the fornt desk was 3 minutes.

    I booked and paid for two nights in advance because of traveling relatives coming in for graduation. When they arrived at hotel there was no reservation found by the attendant. I called Booking. Com who told me to ask the attendant about the reservation She told me she could not find anything under my name and contact the agency which made the reservation. After many attempts to locate the information and speaking with Bookkng and the hotel I had to find another location to reside. I asked for a refund and have not had a response from anyone.

    I would recommend the Hampton Inn. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The cleaning staff was amazing at getting things we needed for our weekly stay. Thank you! The pool and hot tub were very relaxing as well.

    The staff walked into our room while I was in my pjs and my husband in a bath. He knocked and came in, said that there was a problem in the bathroom, and was told that this room was not in use. I called the front lobby and the lady kept saying "I can't hear you; it's the phone". My husband went downstairs to complain and all they did was playing the blame game of "I didn't tell him it was free" and "I didn't know you were in there". No apology. We had to get a new room because the bathroom was causing a leak. The comforter in the new room smelled like saliva. YES, SALIVA. It indicates that it was not washed since it was used last. We asked for a manager but was told that she was not present. I will never stay at this certain Hampton Inn.. just pay a bit more and go to a newer hotels in the area.

    The toilet is so low u need help getting up, only things to grab is the sink&door knob for support, no microwave, fridge didn’t cool my drinks, it took all the pillows to stack n elevate my head properly, the curtains didn’t close to block out the light fixture shining n my room, no scramble eggs only veggie omelet , the sausage n waffle n apple juice was good to me, the mattress was hard

    Person at check in was awesome. A big smile and such graciousness is so welcoming after a long trip. Also nice to have so many options for complimentary breakfast next morning. Really great to be so close to Jaxport too! Can't think of a thing that wasn't done well. Thanks for a good place to spend the night!

    the hotel did not have my booking .com reservation when i arrived at 1am. the front desk agent said i should not book under booking com and should have booked direct it was not her fault it had not come through. she then charged me at least 50!more dollars for the stay . i was tired and frustrated and would have never stayed at that property for the price she charged me. i had multiple emails saying i booked a room which i did at 1040 pm the night before. it was last minute she said i should go to the lobby and call booking. com or book direct with hilton. the carpet seemed kind of old and grouse in the toom

    She had a horrible manner and implied I didn't know how to use a website. The next morning I spoke to Caretta, a woman who was so patient. She said she was so sorry, that room was not a handicap. She found one of the handicap rooms would be available after it was cleaned. Someone came and checked it first and we moved in that morning. She was delightful and restored my faith in your hotel.

    Absolutely a DUMP!!!! The first room that I was given the water in the tub ran continuously and could not be shut off as soon as you walk into the room you were overwhelmed with the smell cigarette smoke. The second room was absolutely filthy. There was trash behind the beds and on the floor. The towels were actually black with stains. Holes in the walls, caulking around everything. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and the tub had stains throughout the bottom of it. The sheets were much like the towels, disgusting and they had holes in them. I slept with the lights on in fear of being eaten up by wandering critters in the night. If I hadn’t gotten there so late, I wasn’t sure where to go. I would have certainly left, however, this is a nonrefundable property so I suffered through. I made a mistake of not ironing my clothes before I went. There was no iron in the room so I asked the attendant for an iron and I was informed they do not have them at the property. All I can say, I’ll never go there again and you have to be pretty desperate to stay there. Even other tenants came out and said how disgusting it was. I do not know how this place has not been condemned by the health department. I tried to leave pictures of my bath towels, but the site would not download them.

    There was no one working the front desk when we arrived. After waiting 20 minutes a maintenance person came by and said the person had left and not sure when the next employee would arrive.     Location, it’s close to airport I stayed early in the month and was very satisfied. This room the floor and toilet was dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. The coffee maker in room didn’t work. The breakfast was ok, but when I stayed earlier in the month it was excellent with bacon, biscuits and gravy and fresh fruit and tasted freshly made. This stay there only bananas and they were turning brown. The food tasted old.

    I’m sorry to write an not so good review but some of the staff was kinda rude , but I will stay again because I did like that they had small let out bed for the kids.     Our flight was delayed a few hours so it was a long day for us by the time we arrived to check in. There was no one at the front desk but I could hear noises from the office. I called out and no one came out. That's when I noticed a sign stating that they were helping other patrons so we waited. After several minutes, the attendant came out of the office. I smiled and asked if she was waiting on us. (Making a joke since we were so late.) She didn't smile and asked for name and credit card. We finished the transaction and I thought to myself, "I never want that sourpuss the first face my customers see when they come into my business!"

    We booked two rooms, (1) adult, (2) kids each room and a silver card Hilton Honors and a HGV owner.. The staff was very limited with what capacities they had to offer since they were what appeared to be short staffed. We booked thru a third party which was unfortunate on our part...a king suite accessible was without a sofa sleeper which was not as described in the third party app but front desk staff did upgrade us but we had to wait an additional 45minutes for her to do so, the only staff available, to check in other guest but the upgrade was fantastic...the rooms were clean and very sufficient!! Getting extra shampoo and conditioner request was not fulfilled and the blankets for the sofa sleeper was brought up to our room at 11:40pm, the child was asleep by then with the blanket from my bed... and I, myself was almost asleep when housekeeping came knocking on my door. The breakfast was very minimally required for a buffet but was okay! The pool was clean and the hot tub was extra HOT at 120 degrees. The exterior was clean and very maintained. The free parking was much appreciated. Would recommend patience but a great place for an overnight stay.

    No-one at check-in, had to search and wait for front desk staff. Once she arrived she was not apologetic or personable. Hotel is tired and run down. Room was dark and dingy, carpet and furniture stained and dirty. Surface of tub was peeling off and appeared stained, drain stopper broken, shower curtain crumpled - to the point I would not shower. Vanity damaged and badly scratched, no wash cloth and only 1 hand towel. Generally I choose Hampton Inns because they are typically generic and pretty reliable. I would think Hilton must require them to pass a certain standard. This one is a disgrace to the brand. Gave it a couple of stars because the breakfast staff was kind and food was ok. This HI is in REAL need of renovation -- with so many other hotel choices in the area, my recommendation would be to go somewhere else!

    DO. NOT. STAY. HERE!! Terrible customer service, horrible housekeeping, subpar breakfast, and uncomfortable rooms. They tried to charge more than double my rate AFTER I had already paid. I had proof of payment, they threatened charges because we were "combative" toward them. Spend your money at somewhere else, where you will feel like a valued customer, because this is not that.

    I’ve stayed here often over the past three years, and twice monthly the past three months when visiting my elderly parents. The staff is amazing, service is perfect, and I look forward to staying there again when I go back in a few months. One downside, they changed their ESA protocols and no longer allow them to stay fee-free. I do wish they’d reconsider that benefit. It helps when on a limited budget and staying more than two days.

Lady on duty Sunday morn, was quick to ask man with no shirt at Breakfast bar to please go back to room and get a shirt-health regulations. She was on that in a second when he showed up. He came down the elevator with me and I was appalled that he would go to breakfast (or anywhere) in the hotel like that.

    So there should be a patio or terrace that guests can congregate on instead of the front door @ 11pm. There was a lot of people at the front door and it smelled of smoke. They were really loud and it brings the property value down.

    Hotel itself and the room were fine. Bed was comfortable and shower worked great. Very close to airport, and some nice eating options within walking distance. My only gripe is that the extended parking was very expensive. There were plenty of empty spaces; why not charge less and make more money, and then also provide a nice service for your guests who msy be traveling?

    I had a 5:30 a.m. departure from the hotel to JAX airport and the free lobby coffee was set up and ready to be used when I went down to check out at 5:15 a.m. I was not expecting the coffee service to be available that early in the morning. It got my day off to a great start. Thank you!

    Only one phone number for the hotel. I was at the airport for an hour trying to call for the shuttle. I ended up calling the Hilton Garden Inn to call the shuttle to take me to the Hampton Inn. Nice breakfast and coffee/tea is available 24/7. Short walk to dining spots.

    Nearby restaurants are OK. Longhorn Steakhouse is good, but not as good as the one on Atlantic Blvd. Ruby Tuesday is dirty and the service is terrible. Overall choices for dining nearby are not great. The hotel is in good condition. The staff are very professional, courteous and helpful.

    Clean rooms, plenty of towels is always a reason for a good rating. But it was staff that made it a 10 of 10. Plus to be able to get fresh hot coffee in the evening for the cocktail hour instead of a cocktail was perfect. Will visit a Hampton Inn again.

    Reserved rooms one month in advance, but was told on arrival my son and I would have to accept rooms on separate floors. My room 101 was hot but thanks to a very nice maintenance man a new thermostat was installed the next day.We were given rooms next to each other which she said she didn’t have on our arrival after I refused her offer of rooms on separate floors.I removed trash and wet towels from room 05/26/2025 pm as no housekeeping came. 5/27/2025 was ok. I was not told by Hotels.com or Hampton that $100.00 of my bank account would be placed on hold. I mentioned to lady who checked me in I was quoted $399.36 but she printed out $449.36 with no explanation . I found out on check out why the balance changed. My bank account was billed $100.00 extra ! And my name is Elizabeth Jones Trent

    I had reserved a handicap room as I need a walker for mobility and a handicap toilet. It is impossible for me to get into a tub shower. The bathroom is a standard bathroom and unusable for me. I checked with the desk I was told they had no other options so I am stuck here!

    Convenient location to airport. They had an outside pool but we didnt stay long enough to use. Plenty of people were using it. Clean and quiet. They offer a shuttle to airport. We didnt need it this time but that would be a benefit in the future

    The staff was great, from check-in to breakfast staff. The room was too expensive for the area and condition- I’ve stayed at a Universal resort for a cheaper rate. There was a hole in the corner wall by the window - I was worried a creature would come through it. It seemed like an older hotel that was given a semi face lift.
