There was coffee every morning. Nobody walked into our room unannounced The hot water works well The staff was very friendly On a 1 to 10, one for cleanliness Your site advertises that breakfast is included, I was informed when I got there that it was not included. That they do not even have breakfast at Econolodge since Covid. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling above the shower The icemaker on our floor did not work so if we wanted ice, we had to walk upstairs and a considerable distance to get ice The swimming pool was 1 foot low and was full of bugs The seal on the door was nonexistent you could see a half an inch of light through the crack The room that was to accommodate four people only had one chair and no table We were told at the desk that we are not allowed to cook in the room but the room comes with a microwave and refrigerator

I payed almost $300 for 2 nights in a king bed ,but the bed was old and literally sunk- in ,in spots also pool was dirty I had to beg for clean towels and then a guy runs around saying are u leaving everytime u walk outside but check out is at 11 and this was 8 ,oh and when I booked it said breakfast included,that was a laugh all they had was stale old nasty coffee ..dog poop all in grass otw to pool which was dirty too ..sad place should be shut down .at the econo Lodge off cagle rd in Jacksonville Florida.. please beware because if I had seen a review like this explaining this places problems they would of never received my money for room 106

The room smelled of smoke even though it was supposed to be nonsmoking, and the bed sheets had holes in it. Literal burn holes. The staff themselves were nice. Outside of the holes, the hotel itself was okay. Water pressure in the shower was amazing. Served it's purpose.

The staff has no customer service at all, the lobby has a smell, they do a 25 dollar deposit and when u go to the room u trying to figure out what in the room is worth 25 dollars, the room is nasty, the curtains are raggedy, the beds are small, holes in the sheets as well as comforters, holes in the walls, the door is dirty and damaged, spider webs, mold and the tub is so nasty and rusty this experience had my anxiety up several customers were asking for their money back right after check in and they refuse it was hard sleeping in candy mama dungeon I wouldn’t let me worst enemy stay there that was my first and last time staying there this hotel have 2 options remodel or shut down I recommend the second option I hope this review make it to the public and not get swept under the rug.

I have stayed there several times over the years they have always kept the property well maintained. Landscape, outdoor areas are garbage cleared. Building has been there for years, Rooms are acceptable with aged furniture and clean. Surrounded area feels safe and well lit

The staff was friendly. The was no continental breakfast. There was space in room for a comfortable chair but just empty space. It was quiet and bed comfy. Not bad for price.

First is the staff and then the rooms. And only the rooms is because I know they really nice rooms here I've personally seen them but it's like the staff stereotype and judge their customers who spend their money with them and still purposely chooses to put them in a horrible room and when asked to change it gets worse.

Cost/location Toilet run continually, WiFi never worked, everything smelled of curry, no stopper in bath tub. AC sounded like a wild dog when stopping. Generally the worst Econolodge I’ve been at in past memory. To be charged $20 extra for a 2:00 early check-in was desperate.

Area around hotel was sketchy. Tiny towels and not enough provided. The pillows were not comfortable. Econo-Lodge Management needs to visit and make recommendations.

I had no choice but to sleep in a room because it was all they had left and it was a smoking room. Disgusting. I woke up in my hair smelled like smoke.

Guy labeled her as a pet, and I told him she was a service animal. He said they don’t usually allow a 40 lb “pet” but it was okay because I was staying one night. NOT DISABILITY FRIENDLY

The room was basic and clean. The area is a lil sketch. The pics online were misleading aboout the breakfast. There was no food and barley any coffee. I picked this spot only for the breakfast/pool so that was disappointing.

Photos provided to Expedia were extremely misleading. Staff led me to believe that the pet fee for my cat was for the stay. Upon checkout I was charged much more than I was told. I would have changed to another hotel except that we had evacuated from a hurricane and other properties were not available.

My experience was terrible. Not only did we drive 7 hours due to the mandatory evacuation for Hurricane Milton, but we were also exhausted by the time we dealt with the front desk. The room had roaches and the bathroom was filthy. The floors were broken laminate, and the bed was dirty. For the price we paid, it was unacceptable."

The room was fairly clean could have been better the beds were not they comfortable but we had a place to sleep I'm was grateful for that . They charged extra for my pet when I made my reservation I added a pet didn't say anything about a charge it just stated it was pet friendly that's it charged me 50.00 all I got back was 25.00

I really liked how quiet the property was and they had an ice machine that actually worked. The only problem I had was that I had a room with cigarette burns in the cover but they solved the problem extremely fast and I would love to stay here again.

Room was cheap for a “just passing through and need a place to sleep” kind of night. Service was ok but the room was just not something that should ever be offered to paying guests. This seems like an option to house the homeless not a hotel. The click flooring had been water damaged in the past and was separating, huge trip hazards to the point we had to wear shoes the entire time. The paint in the bathroom was peeling off, there were paint chips in the bathtub, huge clusters of cobwebs in the corners of the ceilings. The toilet clogged on the first flush with nothing in the toilet other than a Kleenex. When calling the front desk I was asked to walk to get the plunger myself, and rectify the clog on my own. I had to carry a knife with me to go to the front desk as the rooms all enter into a court yard that just didn’t seem safe at all. The neighbourhood is awful. Just all around terrible and not only should you not stay here, no one should be staying here. The people working were sweet and I’m sure the owners are trying very hard to maintain the hotel. However it’s beyond repair in my opinion.

The place is dirty, poorly kept up overall a pretty scuzzy.

Clean and decent sized room, but there was a used washcloth in the bathroom when we first checked in. One comforter had a cigarette burn hole in it, the coffee maker in the room was dirty, the shower head shook when the shower was on, some random person outside tried to sell us drugs and then asked for money when we told him “no”. Upstairs guests were banging on the walls and and floor (our ceiling) around 6am. Told the front desk and it stopped for a little bit but then picked up again.

Roach motel. I knew for the price it would be bad, but I couldn’t believe how nasty it was!

This place is basically a dump. We had to stay here because we had no other option. The hotel room was clean and the bed comfortable. It is not place where you can get rest. The highway traffic you can hear, you can hear word for word what is being said in the other rooms. I heard more than I wanted! The hotel needs a giant face lift!

The property was not well maintained and some of the staff were rude. There was no breakfast even though they claim to offer one.

Lots of roaches in the bathroom. They came to spray it and they gibbed on the spray in the bathroom making it unusable for quite some time.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The pillows were three small squares, only enough for one. The description stated, continental breakfast included, nothing to eat or drink, so I went next door to Dunkin Donuts.

It was very dirty--bugs, dust, dirt on the floor. The sheets were filthy with holes in them. There were ashes in the sheets. They reluctantly agreed to replace just one of them, the fitted sheet, but handed it to me to put it on myself. When I requested to cancel the second night because it was so terrible, they finally, after persistence, agreed to do it. There was no breakfast items "due to covid," but the motel did not state this in any document. Worst place I've stayed in that I can remember.

just fyi, The room next to mine had two older guys and two younger women who all night climbed in and out of other peoples cars coming in and out of the room. At one point one of the girls was in the backseat of his car and set the alarm off on the car and it was obvious to me what was going on. I’ve seen this before at red roof Inn and Nevada cops maybe there anytime during the night in my night was over as far as getting any sleep. I told your front desk person the next day and she said they don’t care

This place did not honour Expedia booking, said they didn't have a room and then later said they will only book as walk in and has charged extra $20. Lots of walk ins and previous bookings had to pay walk ins fare at $100 a night after me The room is ok although could be cleaner, main area could be cleaner, owners were not accommodating and not approachable esp the wife they spoke in their language when I asked about the nearest shopping area quite rude and inappropriate definitely not worth $100 per night it should be around $69

Found roaches all over room including on bed behind beds behind refrigerator. Staff only offered to give me a different room due to bugs in current room, causing another inconvenience to me having to move my belongings. Bathroom sink clogged takes forever for water to drain. Same in bathtub, also shower head and bathtub are filthy with mold. Making this room that I am paying over $100 for which is a ridiculous price considering the advertise online for as low as $66 a night for the room that I am currently in. I get no help from front desk employees. They are rude and greedy and only care about how much money they can get out of me. One member of the staff came to my door trying to solicit sex from me for money. When I tried to inform front desk employee she just played it off as him trying to find out if I'm checking out or staying.

On both Saturday and Sunday, the housekeeper knocked on the door and announced herself but before I could get to the door she opened the door with her key. I walk with a cane and yelled very loudly that I was on my way but it didn't matter. It was the same person on both days and I reprimanded her on Saturday for doing it by telling her that it takes me some time to get to the door as it walk with a cane but it didn't matter to her

I am going to very adamantly insist that you take this hotel selection OFF your website. This place is appalling! I cannot think of a single redeeming quality. READ THE REVIEWS of ANY of these sites they belong to! They are unbelievable!! Dirty, stunk, unsafe, dead cockroaches, armed guards, (25) 18-wheelers, door would not close, and they do not have ANY good reviews. I cannot believe they even got ONE star! People have been complaining and leaving bad reviews for YEARS. GET RID OF THEM.

Hotel and rooms are worn and well used. Cannot state categorically cleanliness is of prime concern, and the pool, although very good (9'ft depth), needs cleaning and servicing. perhaps as the pandemic wanes some investment can be made to spruce up the whole offering as the location is very good.

The Ac doesn’t work the staff is VERY Unprofessional and mean you can’t get any towels until the next day roaches they have prostitution going around in the parking lot it’s a very bad hotel drugs and all.

It was an overall great stay. Since I booked ahead of time I had to give a $25 non-refundable cash deposit. The tv sucked and had the leds starting to go out but I only stayed for a night so i didn’t use it.

It was nothing like in the pictures. We laid and didn’t even stay there because elf the lack of cleanliness. Dirty towels, wash clothes in the shower, moisture in the carpet on the floor, no hot water... the list goes on. Honestly I would want my money back. I’m very upset about the misleading advertisement.

I got off work and I drove to Jacksonville FL to spend time with my grandkids for a day, I was very tired when I arrived so I booked a room off your site so I could spend time with my grandkids. When I got in the room, it was suppose to be a non smoking, but the room smelled like someone had just put the cigarette out. There were roaches in the room the tub was nasty and dirty. I couldn’t even shower or get comfortable in there. I slept In my car. I’m a very dissatisfied customer.

This place was horrible. The women behind the counter didn't even acknowledge us when we walked up to check in. Don't let the pictures fool you. The room smelled moldy and like an ashtray. There were drug deals going on ALL NIGHT long and prostitutes asking for money and cigarettes. There's no way management didn't know this was going on because it was so obvious. I was scared to leave my room. In the bathroom I seriously checked the air vent for a hidden camera. The tub had enamel chipping off and the ceiling was peeling. Just an overall bad place.

Check in was slow. While waiting in line, several people came in asking only for a room key. Front desk gave them one without asking for room# or ID. Suspicious especially when shortly after another person came in complaining about people doing drugs there. The motel is not safe & a lot of strange activity going on. Will not stay there again & shame on Expedia for having it listed under them.

The front desk needs to work at better customer service. Very unfamiliar with the checking in guest amd the credit card swipe machine was offline so i had to wait until the system was back online. My room was 2 beds not 1 king like i booked online. The keys to 1st room i was given didnt even work. Had to walk back to the front desk and get a another room and new keys

You arrive with a pet (pet friendly) they charge you an additional charge which this site doesn’t say it will do. Dirty, it’s a half way house with people living on site.

The room had a bad odor when I opened the door. The bath room was from the 1970's and in bad shape. The carpet was so dirty that my nephew's feet were black after he walked around barefooted after his shower. The mini refrigerator was rusted inside. Will never stay here again! Also had to pay a $12 fee for a pet which was not informed in advanced.

The room smelt of mold and I had to purchase some air fresheners. The door got stuck and I could not get out. There was NO hot water. The coffee maker leaked all over the counter and would not make coffee. I found 2 German Cockroaches on the sink area. Scary place for a woman on her own also!!

This place was horrible DO NOT STAY HERE. Dont let the pictures fool you this place is disgusting. I walked into a room with black tar in the shower with no curtain and cigarette holes in the bed. I chose to leave and when I asked for any sort of refund the front desk attendant tried snatching my key card and fighting me in front of the hotel. NOT A HOTEL YOU WANT TO STAY AT!!!!

Stayed overnight on 3/13/20 and once in the room bathroom was not clean had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean tub and stool. Disinfected the whole room was not very happy. Guess when you try to be cheap you get cheap work.

The "breakfast" had muffins on the "menu". In reality, the "muffins" were at least 3 days old...in other words...stale. I ill certainly NOT consider this particular EconoLodge for any stay in Jackson, Fl agaim. VERY DISAPPOINTING.........

No reception for the cable TV. I was told that there was no reception because it was raining! Woke up at 2 o’clock in the morning to go to the bathroom and there was no water. No water.! Faucets, shower, toilet! Not even a dribble to get a glass to take my meds. Breakfast included dry bread, no butter, no peanut butter, no jelly! Cheerios with skim milk. Had to make a pot of coffee when I asked for it. No one spoke English to complain too.

I won't lie at first I was hesitant because of the appearance of the area. So I decide to give it a try. I honestly was wrong. Surprisingly It actually was'nt a bad choice. Since the first time I booked everything been excellent. The staff is very nice, super friendly, they're very helpful when you have any questions or concerns. Oh we can't forget the complimentary breakfast its actually not bad. (There not stingy with the food. ssshhh 😉😊)

The hotel was not in the best area, the toliet ran all night and the chairs in the room had questionable stains on them as did the bedding. On a positive note you did get HBO and Showtime

The “Choice” System was down and it took Approximately 53 minutes to check in. After being on the road for hours, I was just ready to shower and relax, therefore this was a problem. The staff was very apologetic and friendly.

The hotel is just old. The towels are dingy grey, the sheets were stained and the bathroom tub had rust and mildew. A little bleach and oxy clean would do wonders. We were only in town 1 night and everything else was booked up. So it was fine for a night. But not for more time.
