    Initially, we had planned for a three day stay unfortunately an emergency Rose where we had to leave the day after we checked in. I checked out at the desk and explained to the clerk why we were leaving suddenly she was unable to give me a receipt at the time but told me I would get a receipt in my email which I did only to find out that I was charged for the full three days, as of today I am unable to get my refund for the days that we were not checked in.

    The lobby staff is very friendly and greeting you at the front desk to get you checked in. Lobby looks newly updated and gave a vibe that this was going to be a great hotel. Once checked in drove around hotel parking lot sitting in parking lot did not feel safe getting to room hallway smell like wet dog

    I flew in for work Monday at around midnight through Friday at 4am. With the late nights and early mornings, I was always greeted with a smile, a bottle of water, or a cookie. The room was clean, the staff was amazing, even helping me when I landed after 11:30pm. They showed me to my room. I will definitely stay here again.

    I got to the desk and the woman was extremely helpful.     Close to Jax airport . Comfortable bed , good bed linen and towels. Shuttle is super convenient and arrives to collect you very quickly. Unnecessary aircon makes the room freezing. Lighting in the room is not adequate and the decor of rooms and the hotel in general is depressing ! The shower is over the bath, low pressure and lime scale in the jets! Breakfast is just awful , tepid coffee and processed food ! Quite sad really.

    The hotel and rooms smelled musty, maybe a problem with too much carpet in a humid climate. I could live with that as the rooms were better. The restaurant, I ordered to go fish tacos to my room. These were by far the WORST fish tacos I have ever experienced. The fish appeared to be a freezer burned over cooked hunk of something that was not immediately identifiable as fish. I am a Hilton member and have stayed at Hilton properties all up and down the east coast this unfortunately is not up to Hiltons standards, I will not ever be returning.

    The room was a letdown. Beautifully decorated, but the bathroom sink had no stopper so anything you accidentally drop in the sink, jewelry, hair barrettes or eyeliner pencil drops down the drain. Shower was fine but the toilet would randomly flush and then run for a while. We had to shut the door at night because it was so annoying. Beds are ridiculously hard, but some like that. Between the toilet and the bed I literally didnt sleep at all. Pillows are small and way overstuffed. Sheets were nice, but the bottom sheet was folded rather odd, i had to unfold a part to stretch out my feet The balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool and gardens are a nice place to sit. But, the concrete is crumbling and stepping on the pieces hurt! Also, the rusty rebar is showing amidst the crumbling cement on the balcony. All the staff here was very nice A++ I probably would stay again mostly because it is so convenient to get to and from JAX airport, but I would inspect the room and ask for a different room ff it was as bad as the one we had. On a previous stay 2 yrs ago I tried the breakfast buffet, it was very disappointing at the time so we didn’t go this time.

    We arrived after 11:00 PM from a long flight. The front desk managers were so friendly and extremely helpful as I couldn’t find my wallet although my Resversation was paid in advance. I began to panic because I had my drivers license in my wallet. The two of them commonly begin to ask me for other photo ID and that worked out. I’m so thankful for their patience and kindness and the warm cookies they sent me to my room with. The property was clean and safely well lit from the parking lot to our room. Our room was spacious, perfectly cleaned and we slap on the most comfortable beds we had been in during the week we were gone on vacation. Of course checkout was easy. As a Hilton Honors member I highly recommend this property. And look forward to staying here in the future.

    Glorified motel wrapped in a Hilton name. The moment you enter the room, there is a strong stench. Staff is aware of this already but no action has been taken. Then, the hvac, which must be 50 years old did not work- needed the maintenance guy to make the hot water go through the right pipes. He knew exactly what was wrong and what had to be fixed. Looks like a a common issue in this hotel. Then, the water in sink and tub do not drain quickly- gross if you ha e to stand in it. The carpets, doors, walls haven't been updated in maybe 20-30 years. On top of this, they charge for parking, wi fi and breakfast. Ofcourse, they charge you like a hilton. Will never go this property but more importantly will never be able to trust a hilton property.

    The woman who checked us in gave us the 2 rooms (836 & 838) at the extreme end of the back of the hotel (a long trek through a maze of corridors), overlooking the back parking lot and dumpster! Rooms were in poor condition with cracked HVAC unit, no sink stopper, etc. Ugly place, would not return. The restaurant workers were very nice!

    Heat did not work in the room. The restaurant fries under cooked and burger was hard. The Wi-Fi was super slow and cut me off a few times. Not pleasant. I need/needed the heat.

Clearly he was agitated as he disrespected Ms. Santrel by something he said. She handled the situation calmly and with the utmost professional manner I have witnessed, in the spur of the moment! After all was said and done I Let Ms. Santrel know I noticed how she handled the situation with such professionalism and commended her. I also told her, had I been a CEO of a company I would have hired her on the spot! This is why she gets “Honorable Mention” and the five stars! Chances are you may never personally meet your guest, but it’s your people on the front lines that make you look good, and helps your companies succeed.     Room was deglected. Coffe pot wasnt plugged in. Couldnt move furniture to plug it in. Then i moved it to bathroom to make 1 cup of coffee. Set on 1 cup and overflowed. Then only 1 bag to make a coffee. Went to lobby and had to pay for coffee. Unreal. Should be free coffee. No exhaust fan in bathroom either.

    Amazing and convenient stay! We were greeted with warm cookies. There is easily accessible access to the airport via the 24 hour shuttle. Everything was exceptionally clean.     Latonya at the front desk was very professional. I had a problem in the dining area when I ordered the jambalaya soup when I took the soup to my room and was eating it. I noticed a large piece of plastic was in my soup. I called down to the restaurant. They told me to return it and did not accommodate me with an additional choice when I chose to get the burger and place of the soup I had to pay an additional eight dollars which initially was not my first choice of food to eat I think the restaurant should accommodate and go above and beyond to make the customer satisfied if an era was made on their end and not charge the customer extra money for something that they didn’t want in the first place so I just asked for a refund and then order any food from the restaurant since they were not accommodating to me.

    The women who checked in was very nice, as was the guy who took me to the airport in the morning… the hotel however is VERY dated and run down … even had done smell in the halls…..the AC ran constantly and was loud but not cooling the room, the bathroom equipped with old and in some case unpainted cabinets where the towels sat….overall to stay over a night to be close to the airport…. doable…. But, not even close to what my expectations would be for a doubletree…. Time to renovate and clean up

    The facilities are pretty worn down, and beat up. Paint chipped worn down missing. Very tired, Parts of the airport is great. Easily walkable from the terminal. Room was very clean, but had an odor throughout the hotel, especially in the room, kind of dank. Room felt humid and damp.

    This hotel needs a lot of love as it is beat up. The hall ways a scuff marks all over the place the elevator door open even before you get to your floor. Over all the staff is great but the building needs a ton of attention.

    Our first room we went to use the bathroom when we first got there and there was literally pubic hair and head hair everywhere!! I'm talking hundreds of pieces. I started cleaning it and then said enough was enough. There was booger smeared on the bathroom wall. A broken metal piece to the door on the ground that our one-year-old picked up. Usually, I'm not a complainer, but I went down and spoke to the front desk, which they quickly put us into a different room (front was amazing) but unfortunately that room was the same hair all over the bathroom. It was just so gross. One year-old got down on the floor for just a few minutes his legs were black. I bent down to pick up something. there was garbage under the bed. The bathrooms need to be vacuumed all around, not just a mop moved around. Every towel we opened at hair in it. I'm not reviewing in a negative way I'm genuinely hoping they can make a change because other than that decent place to stay and convenient location.

    Restaurant with excellent food and outside dining. Coffee shop with good coffee and friendly service. The accommodations we had on this trip were in the older part of the complex. That part is inconvenient to access and dated.

    Dalya was fantastic at check on but website is misleading. Parking for the nightbyou stay is $10 but for patking while flying is $20!!! And it is NOT a 3 min walk to Jax airport have to use their shuttle. Should have used USA parking. But hotel and eminities were great

    I arrived early and just wanted to pay for an extra day because I arrived in the middle of the night but when I tried to ask could I just check in the front desk clerk had a major attitude and barked at me that they were sold out, I work for a major hotel chain and understand what that means but that’s all she kept saying to me not letting me get one word in. Never got my warm cookies one reason I like to stay with double tree. No room cleaning and had to call front desk more wash clothes and lord no extra toilet paper!

    The lamp in the room was so dusty it wasn't a just one day not cleaned item. There was a dead ant in the sink and hair in the shower. If if had been just one thing, I could have overlooked it but all three, that's a dirty room. Also the pool was full of bugs. I was told it was closed the day before for cleaning... didn't look it. When I was getting ready to leave the pool I left a few things on my chair and went to the ladies room to change. A staff member stopped me to point out the things on the chair and I replied that I knew that they were there and that I was going back for them as soon as I changed. She pushed the issue a second time and again I repeated that I was aware that the stuff was there and that I would take care of it. When she pushed the issue for the third time she went from being helpful to being harassing. I finally had to tell her that I didn't want to get my beach cover wet while I was changing into dry clothes and that is why I was not taking it into the bathroom with me. I should not have to explain myself in detail to hotel staff. It totally made me not want to stay at this hotel ever again. But to end on a good note, the breakfast was lovely!!!

    It’s a beautiful hotel on JAX airport property and remarkably quiet with comfortable beds. I feel like the shower has a design flaw as you have to enter at end to turn on and you get blasted with cold water instantly. Not a deal breaker though.

    I had a great stay. The staff were friendly and attentive to guests. The elevators were a little janky. My only issue was with the bathroom in the room I was in. The toilet flushing mechanism needs replaced and doesn’t flush properly. Also the shower door pushed in and doesn’t close properly. The shower is narrow to begin with and the door should swing outward and then seal shut

    Our room was nice but I do not recommend the rooms with patio/balcony. The rooms are by the pool and they play music over the speakers until 10pm. Not great for early morning flights. The hallway was musky. The beds were great and the room was a good size. The airport shuttle was very convenient. The staff was friendly.

    VERY close to the airport -- you really could walk to the terminal but there is a 24 hour shuttle, which was the #1 reason I picked this particular Doubletree. The JAX airport car rental/parking lot had just had a catastrophic fire, and it was uncertain where and when the car could be returned to. I ultimately returned to the airport offisite, took the auto rental shutlle to the airport, and Doubletree was there in a few minutes (less than 5) for the pickup. Hotel room doors, etc. are dated and could use a make over but very clean. Staff was great, polite, and corteous. Made sure I received my Hilton points and cookies... :)

    Overall an excellent experience. The only down sides were the sleeping impediments specifically : noise from the swimming pool area and the wall mounted "spotlight" which also serves as the room climate control screen.. it is far too bright for anyone wanting a dark room to sleep in, cover it with a wash cloth or something and its fine.

    Arrived and the whole floor smells terrible. The sheets are also very rough and uncomfortable — and they didn’t even have a fitted sheet on either of our beds. Everything in the room is very old and the lamp is rusted.

    I had a flight arriving late in the evening and have a long drive once on the ground. Booked this hotel to get a good sleep before traveling the next morning. The room was clean, spacious and best of all quiet. The bathroom was roomy and the water hot. I enjoyed a nice breakfast before getting on the road. The location is the absolute best for getting in or out of JAX. I'll definitely use it again.

    This is an old, tired hotel. The hotel is located on the airport property, but it is too far to walk to the terminals. Since you have to drive or take a shuttle even if you stay at this hotel, I would stay somewhere else and drive to the airport.

    Property was very nice. It is only 20 minutes away from the cruise terminal. The bed was very comfy and the room was well decorated and appointed. Staff was very friendly. The Frequency restaurant was good as well. Even though the hotel is on the airport, the sound wasn't an issue at all.
