    The staff was friendly, but the room was not up to par. It was clean but the coffee pot didn't work properly, the lids didn't fit the coffee cups, the water pressure was extremely weak in both the shower and sink. The iron didn't work properly and water came out all over my husband's clothing. There was a dog on our floor that was barking the entire early morning. When all of this was reported to the staff at check out, the only reply was, "Oh, I'm sorry.." There was no sort of compensation offered for all of the inconveniences. We definitely will not stay at this location again.

    Booked though Booking.com. Upon arrival I was told a $50 pet fee, $5 per day pet cleaning fee, almost $4 per day vehicle fee, and another fee which I’m still it sure of and no, it was not the 7.5% tax fee but still booking.com never quoted/mentioned pet fee and yes, I clicked on is there a pet. So, I had paid in full the total cost upon booking and when I arrived at the hotel I was surprised of over $100 in extra fees! Of course I had to pay it because we are from out of town and what am I suppose to do at this point?. Then opening my room and the dank, stale, warm room greeted me. Also, our pillows smelled like mildew so we had one pillow between my husband and myself! I left my dog and didn’t say anything because my son had a water leak in his bathroom and needed us immediately. We got back super late to the room and that night was a very sweaty night to say the least. Then I looked at the thermostat and figured out to just keep the ac at 70 so that it never cycled off which led to a cold room. I thought oh I can handle this cause we barely didn’t time in the room. I just feel like for almost $400 for 2 nights was ridiculous!! I hope that you do something about this and I know you are going to respond with well you should have let front desk know about this and my response to you is, I booked this and didn’t think I would have any problems cause we knew we were there for a short time and were needed with my family not trying to solve the hotels problems and switching rooms! If that even was a possibility for the hours we were coming and going.?

    Everything was so nice down to the staff. By far the easiest check in / out process and the lady at the counter when we checked in was so sweet. She gave us recommendations on where to go to the beach , where to go out , and good breakfast spots.

    This hotel is for sleeping in, and leaving immediately for any level of amenities every traveler needs. Sadly - while there were no problems, and the rooms were nice - this was, frankly, intensely uninviting and we all had zero desire, or reason, to spend more time at this hotel than was absolutely necessary - and we left as quickly as possible to go anywhere at all that was an affordable option for coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner - you name it. This overpriced hotel is for sleeping only. Plan to be anywhere else for every other amenity you'll need as a traveler.

    We have stayed at this hotel twice now and each time was excellent. The bistro has just enough options for breakfast and a menu for later in the day that had just what we needed. The room was very comfortable. We had a few issues, but Kristen, front office, took care of them immediately. We highly recommend this hotel for comfort, quiet rooms, great service and good food while staying there.

    I booked through Expedia. Upon checking in I was informed that my “included” breakfast would be automatically deducted from my bill when I checked out. That was not the case however and I had to call the property to have the included breakfast removed from my bill a day after checking out. If I had not caught this error, I would have been charged 65 extra dollars. That is a serious lapse in service. A protocol should be put in place so that does not happen to other customers. Thanks!

When we returned from a long day, they put all the old, dirty linens back on the bed!!! Plus showers are starting to mild, dirty mattresses and hair on the walls and bathroom floors.

    Front desk didn't know how to start the gas firepit outside the courtyard. That would have been a nice ending to our evening out. Beer bottles left outside. I don't think the outside area is addressed as much as the inside. All in all the stay was nice.

    The hotel was very clean and we loved the room. The bathroom was spacious. Bed 10/10 comfort. Upon arriving until our last day the staff was very friendly! The bar was closed Saturday night (the night we wanted to go down and drink) but, we understand things happen. Plenty of seating areas if you needed to go down to the lobby area and work. I didn’t go to the gym so I can’t really comment on that. But overall this stay was great and we will stay here again!

    We checked in late and it took almost 10 minutes before we saw a receptionist. She then proceeded finish moving and organizing carts and putting up some sheets. We checked in the 5 guests ( my wife, myself and 3 teens). The room we booked was supposed to have 2 beds and a couch. No couch existed and the receptionist wasnt very helpful in solving this issue. So 3 teens slept in a bed. Thankfully we had to be up and out early anways. But the room pictures sure didn't match what we signed up for.

    Easy check in. Love that there is a couch in the room, clean, and staff was friendly. The TV picture quality was bad. The screen had white, flickering vertical lines that looked like it was snowing. We didn't complain because we were only there for one night. But it did make it hard to watch TV.

    Love the facilities, the proximity to the i95. Beautiful property. Breakfast was outstanding. The staff in the cafe wasn’t prepare for the massive amount of people that was there to order breakfast. Even though they did amazing and smiling and willing to do whatever, however I think the manager should anticipate the high occupancy and be prepared with staff so they can provide a better and faster service.

    Very comfortable bed and lounge chairs in the room. The hotel is nice and clean with an overall cheerful ambience. Well-maintained pool. Computer in the business center on the first floor, near the check-in counter, was out of order, preventing use of its attached printer. But staff at the counter were nice to print a few pages for me in the morning before check-out.

    Property/building shows obvious age. Tears in carpet. Carpet coming loose from stair risers. Rust, wear and tear noticeable throughout lobby, and public areas. Checked into my room, 203, body soap container laying on shower floor having come off wall. Handle in shower fell off if not turned just right. Rust, mold wear and tear through bath and room. Mattress has been well used. Not a bad property, just not very well maintained.

    Good location right off of I-95. Hotel is clean, modern, and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast is not included but there is a bistro in the lobby which also has a bar that is open till 10pm. It was nice to come in from dinner, get a drink, and take it up to the room. One thing i didn't realize when I booked this room - the hotel is right next door to a hospital and the view from my room was the ER entrance. I was worried that I would hear sirens all night but I didn't hear a thing. It was a great stay overall and I would stay here again.

    I am yet to write a review on expedia and travel a lot but this experience was such an amazing one that I had to share it. Not only was the grounds clean, quiet and well kept, the staff was amazing. Kind, attentive and accommodating from the moment I arrived with my son to the moment we left. The front desk both male and female employees were so friendly that it made everything worth while. The icing on the cake was the Saturday night that we were so tired from a soccer tournament that we just ate at the hotel. The cook/server made us feel like we were at a four star restaurant. Even when helping her bar customers she managed to come over to our table and check on us continuously and provide the friendliest and quickest service possible. Their french fries were crispy and amazing, the chicken wings were cooked to perfection and the specials they had on flatbread pizza that night made it all worth the stay. Management is doing something right there because there staff is happy and that means the guests are. We will be back.

    We went back for a visit and stayed again. First off the front desk attendant remembered me! That was nice. Chose the suite this time, absolutely wonderful! Spacious and we were able to park right in front of the door and the room was the first one, so very convenient. My only negative is the shower grout needs serious attention. However, very positive experience and would definitely stay again. Thanks to all the staff for a pleasant nights sleep.

    Several of our family and friends stayed at this hotel for our son’s wedding this past weekend. I have nothing but praise for the staff at this hotel. They are extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Our only complaint was that the way they have set up the Starbucks cafe in the lobby really does not service the needs of guests wanting a quick breakfast. The staff at the cafe are excellent but you can see that they are working as hard as they can and they still cannot keep up with the demand in the morning. I highly recommend either going back to a buffet style breakfast in the mornings or just not having a breakfast option because it is extremely frustrating..,, otherwise this hotel is amazing in every regard!

    Convenient to interstate. Convenient to commercial area but not too busy or noisy. Nice courtyard and pool. Breakfast is worth the add on cost of 5 dollars but it's a Starbucks branch with a solo worker and it was a curious vibe/attitude from that one person. Hotel staff were very nice and professional. Very enjoyable pool area and we were the only ones in it. It's a few minutes from either Jacksonville or St Augustine but that was fine for us because we visited both. Hotel and area seemed safe and clean.

    My daughter had her wedding at the St John’s Golf And CC. Theresa Castoney set it up and her fabulous staff made everyone in the 20 rooms we used as a wedding block feel welcomed. Friday and Saturday nights there is a full bar and every morning you can have breakfast and Starbucks coffee. Every night we caught up with other out of town family and friends who enjoyed all the amenities a couple days longer as we did, down in the lobby with their various size tables and seating!! I highly recommend The Marriott at the Flagler Center hands down. Big event or by yourself this is a good choice!!
