Aloft by Marriott Jacksonville Airport

Hotel is pet friendly and we were put in a room right next to a dog that we could hear barking down the hallway when we checked in at 11:30pm. We immediately went back down to the front desk and requested another room. Those without animals should not be on the same floor as someone with animals.

No complaint! I enjoy the stay.

Location was good but honestly expected more based upon reviews I read. What I didn’t like is that my wife had to remind of the dust that she took upon herself to wipe down around the window and counter. She also had to grab a broom from one of the house maids to sweep the bathroom floor

Recently stayed at Aloft Jacksonville for a weekend getaway and had a great experience. The hotel was very clean, modern, and well-managed. You can definitely tell it’s a newer property because everything still feels fresh and well maintained compared to some of the older nearby hotels. Staff was professional, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

I love the concept of no pet fee, but of course you are responsible if your dog do something. I just will never stay again in Aloft hotels.

Hi. We initially had a room assigned on first floor room 105. But changed to 4th floor because we saw live roaches in room. Staff reassigned us right away and rest of stay was good. Love that you had bottled water for coffee machine.

The blinds were patched with some strapping tape and unusable. They actually had a sign taped to the table, asking you not to adjust them because they needed to be repaired. Therefore, I do not believe we should’ve even been rented this room. Being unable to raise the blinds made it a miserable night The table legs were almost falling off the handle on the bathroom was loose. I really feel like that I should be reimbursed for portion of this rental because it was definitely not meeting a standard. This is the second time through Expedia. This is occurred to me. It makes me question whether to continue using Expedia.

Room was clean and easily accessible, staff was accomadating so all in all, it met our expectations but nothing was really over the top about our stay.

The beds were comfortable, the pillows were numerous and soft. Great water pressure in the shower and good size towels that were nice and absorbent. Good location to airport with manny places to eat nearby. One negative is no free breakfast.

For me, the lobby was great! But once I stepped out the elevator, the hallways felt old and worn. It was a little gloomy as well. The carpet was definitely in need of replacement. The lighting in the bathroom area and shower is not bright enough and the shower head needs replacing. Also there is nowhere to put your own soap in the shower. I’m not using those ones hanging in the shower…

The rooms were nice and they were clean the only 3 issues were: there are no microwaves in the rooms, you had to go all the way down to the lobby for ice, and the side railings of the bed will KILL your shins so BEWARE!! Great location has a lot of restaurants in the area, shopping within walking distance, and 8 mins from the airport, the staff was extremely friendly, would stay again if we ever go back to Jacksonville.

I am a repeat visitor. I love how clean it is convenient to everything that I need to get to perfect distance from 95. I usually enjoy my experience at this location, but this time they were doing some type of construction that they foresee coming in a two months from the time that I stay there and when I ask how come I couldn’t use my key on the other side of the door so I can easily get my bags then they said that in two months they will be having construction they said well is it possible to open the side door but they said no so I had to bring my stuff all the way through the front. And the lady at the front was not aa nice as I experienced at this location. Maybe she was having a off day

Love the ambience and the surroundings. The loft was beautiful. Air-conditioning my room is a little loud in the evenings, but it did work and it was very cold. I still think I need to run some maintenance on the air conditioner. Room 307.

The ac was not working properly on our 2nd day. We were gone for the day and it was working by the time we got back late that night.

The staff was nice & the location was good Rooms need their own microwave, didn’t like having to grab pre-bagged ice from the lounge, rooms need a decent sitting chair & they should offer a free (included in room price) breakfast of some kind. I also witnessed 2 arguments between guests & staff in my small amount of time I spent in the lobby, & I believe they were both concerning the lack of decent breakfast.

It was ok. Our air conditioner didnt work the first night and was super loud the next night. The shower head was not good. Desk clerk had to come up and fix our TV connection. Again, not terrible but i expect better from Marriott.

I liked the free coffee and ice in the lobby. I also appreciated the noon check out time. I thought the towels were a little old and worn, not very soft.

The airport transport is Free. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The lobby alone has a warm family feeling that allows a gathering of people, even strangers waiting for an event. We stayed two nights pre-cruise. We were able to park our car free while away for two weeks on a cruise and return to pick up our car and headed home. Not a thing. We will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here before when it was not "in season." It was great. The fact that they do not charge for pets is incredible. I have not found a hotel that does not charge for pets, other than this one. That is a plus. They even gave me a little doggy bag with gifts for my dog when I checked in. However, this time was different. There was no gift for my dog and parking was an absolute nightmare as it was now "in season." I also could not connect to the Internet which I needed for work. There was no one at the hotel who could help me. I was given a phone number to call however, after 45 minutes on hold, no one ever picked up. On a positive note, the hotel was basically clean even though I felt like the shower could have been scrubbed a little better. There are many nearby restaurants, including an adorable, freestanding ice cream shop. I was disappointed that free breakfast was not included. In fact there really wasn't much breakfast to pay for. There was free coffee and tea in the lobby. There is also a bar in the lobby with happy hour specials. There are many other hotels nearby that offer free breakfast for the same hotel price so I am sorry to say, they may be my first choice next time I travel. Also, I feel that the beds are a little bit of a safety issue. The frame sticks out so much further than the mattress, that I walked into it multiple times, bruising my shin, as did my travel partner.

I frequently stay at this location. This was the first time the room was in poor condition. The carpet was wet on the far side of the room, the floor in front of the refrigerator was warped and coming up and the toilet did not flush properly. The person at checkout said the room would be removed from service till repairs are made

Water leaked out into the floor while showering. A year ago while in Jacksonville, we stayed at Tru right down the road from Aloft. It was very clean. Aloft is always my first choice when booking reservations. This location needs some TLC. The staff was very friendly. I'll continue to stay at Aloft hotels when traveling. While in Jacksonville, I'll probably stsy at Tru when we return in a few months.

The tall gentleman with the great personality was very kind and helpful. Lots of airport personnel and guests checking in at once even though it was 1am. He was very patient and helpful to everyone and moved through the check in of everyone very quickly and efficiently. It was very appreciated after a long day of travel.

1) Door did not properly lock 2) Room was not set up (mattress and furniture on the floor) 3) Lock to connecting room unlocked. Guest next door did not respect privacy and made it uncomfortable to stay in the room.

There was a problem at airport and my flight was canceled. The staff was overwhelmed due to extra ppl staying and a bit rude. They have old ac and it was loud. I had to turn it off due to loud noice.

Different check in feel from every other Aloft I have stayed in. They check your ID very carefully. They need you to hand over your credit card so they can also check this very carefully. And no status late check out options are available. They also emphasize how they will change you for an extra day if you check out late. Then they try to get you to go to the front desk and check out as you leave with luggage. I have never seen any of this at any other Mariott property.

The staff was very friendly and gave my dog a gift at check in. The lobby was very cool with a billiard table, bar, grab and go food area, Pool was clean. Lots of areas to sit and relax. Extensive areas for dog walking and an amazing Ice Cream Shop within walking distance. Room was very clean. Many places nearby to order food. There were microwaves in the lobby but none in the rooms. I would absolutely stay there again.

Loved the pillows! Bed was very comfortable and the room felt new and clean. Did not like the fact that regular coffee was not offered complimentary in the lobby since all that was left in our room was decaf. Also there was absolutely no where to sit comfortably in the room. A small hard chair meant for aesthetics does not work for road weary customers.

This is the best airport hotel because you can walk to lots of dining options. There is a nice rooftop pool and a regularly scheduled airport shuttle. Highly recommend

Very noisy. Dogs barking, traffic noise, loud vehicles, echoing voices and noisy common hallways.

Was not super impressed. Sheets were stained floors were messed up. The shampoo was empty. And the employee was rude.

Staff was great, very helpful, room was a dump, lightbulbs out, blinds broken, door cracked, no hot water 2 days during stay, elevator not working.

Just staying here for the night to be near the airport for tomorrow, Just a convenient location but have not explored around the area. Clean room and nice furnishings.

Room was lacking regular maintenance. Several broken items shoddily repaired. Shower door removed but track left down. Shower curtain several inches too short. No way to keep the shower water in the shower. It flooded the bathroom.

Very close to airport

Aloft is a nice place: modern, clean, an efficient lay out and wonderful location. I won't return as I had to mop up the bathroom due to a leak in the shower. Further, I couldn't sleep because of an annoying drip outside the window.

Have stayed here a couple times and probably will again if I go to Jacksonville. Pretty darn nice for the price.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and the hotel is soooo clean! I enjoyed my stay and this is a favorite location for me!

The weekend 2nd shift front desk gentlemen was rude and acted like we were an inconvenience when asking a question.

Plenty of shopping and restaurants around!

Only complain i have , i had to go to front desk to get wash cloth because they didnt supply one in the room.

Room were small TV did not work soap dispenser fell off the wall sliding door to the bathroom weighed 300 pounds

The beds are always comfortable. The room size for 2 queen beds is adequate for an overnight airport stay. Aloft used to be our first choice but the rooms are lacking attention the thermostat didn’t work and had buttons missing so we had to work with the unit itself. The bathroom door was too difficult to manage and it was apparent there had been multiple handle replacements rather than just fixing the door to slide more easily. One of the blinds would not move. It just felt like a rundown hotel that’s ducktaped and superglued together. Not what I expect for the price paid.

Called ahead to see if there was storage for 2 electric bikes. Upon arrival, staff member seemed perplexed that we had been told yes. He was unhelpful and unfriendly. U took bikes to my room

Clean and large room

I stay at this property often while traveling alone with my dog and it never disappoints! The rooms are so clean and sanitized that my male never smells other dogs or feels the need to leave his mark! The staff is kind, courteous and pleasant every time. Also, a plus to walk next door to either Carrabbas or The Outback!

There is no reason the doors can’t be slowed on closing. It sadly ruined my entire night of a long 23 hour drive.

Needed a hotel for one night in Jacksonville for a concert.The Aloft was a convenient spot and I’d definitely book there again

Good enough for an overnight stay. We’ll priced, clean, and efficient. Night check-in clerk was marginal, but morning personnel were very nice and accommodating. If it had an EV charger probably would have given a 5.

The smell when walking into the door(lobby) and my hotel room, smelled like dogs. I am a dog lover but I expected more of a better aroma than it having that dog stench. I am aware that dogs are allowed, just wasn't expecting that. The carpet was also dirty. While getting ready to go to sleep the noise in the hallway and room next to mine was just a bit much. I didn't get much sleep the first night. The next night I slept with earplugs, if I wanted to get some type of sleep. After my stay, I don't think I'll be staying at Aloft Hotel anymore.

The maids did not clean our room and left our door open and cracked open all day. Fortunately, nothing was stolen but not happy at all.

The bathroom is also very small. Clean and very confortable bed

This hotel is near EVERYTHING: airport, shopping, restaurants, hospital, shopping mall, I-95….it has a beautiful lobby with a really nice bar. And snacks and soft drinks are available at a lobby kiask. Rooms are nice and comfortable.
