Good breakfast, small pool, only one elevator (so weird), staff was helpful and nice, 1 block to beach, close to a lot of restaurants, bars, etc.

Check in was super easy. The room was clean and the property is super close to the beach.

Short distance walk to the beach The breakfast served has no taste, low quality cheap. I don’t recommend it go and get your own breakfast.

Great location all the way around close to everything. Parking was easy. Price for Memorial Day and graduation weekend wasn’t bad at all. I will definitely stay here again if I had to.

Room wasn’t cleaned properly upon arrival, and we had to call to request housekeeping. The floors weren’t vacuumed or wiped down, and there was still hair in the shower. Shower faucet valve was old and hard to pull up. The staff was friendly and responded quickly to address the issue, which we appreciated. However, for the price, the hotel brand and high rated reviews, we expected a higher standard of cleanliness. The breakfast was hot, fresh, and had a good variety of options. A 2-minute walk to the beach was a plus with young kids. Be aware there are additional daily parking fees not included in the stay.

Well let’s start with my check-in, the concierge was extremely polite & very professional. My room was very clean & the temperature was very comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t my kind of tea, but it looked like people were enjoying it. Check-out was just as professional. I needed this relaxed weekend, work has been very stressful & the long hours has taken a toll on me. So this beach getaway was just what my body ordered.

Very nice staff, clean, a minute walk to the sand, and the free breakfast was great! Not just donuts and croissants, but scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, waffles and a variety of other things. The hot tub was wonderful! No complaints.

I made a reservation and was confirmed for a king suite. Upon arrival, I was informed that there were no king suites and that it was overbooked with Expedia. I had to settle for a queen suite (which was NOT what I wanted, nor paid for). Overall, the desk staff was friendly, though there were plenty of times when I, or other patrons, had to wait as they would be not be visible, but in the back. The elevator was out of service for one of the days and it was extremely inconvenient traveling to the third floor to a room I didn’t choose. The breakfast was good. The hotel was clean. Parking was easy, a lot of construction on the street in front of the hotel

Room cleaning didn’t happen once in the 4 days we were there. Elevator broke, had to ask for more toilet paper, had to ask for the cleaning crew on the first day due to room not being clean when we checked in. Remote only worked within 2 feet of the television.

I’m also not a fan of animals in the space, especially knowing rooms are not cleaned daily; it felt unsanitary. This hotel might be more appropriate for guests traveling with pets. On the positive side, the front desk staff were kind and helpful, and overall customer service was okay. While many guests were not very friendly, the community of Jacksonville is known for great hospitality, which helped balance the experience.

This was a short weekend trip.So I spent a lot of time researching to make sure that I would eliminate any surprises.And that the property would meet our needs. Based on the reviews, I went with this one. And honestly very disappointed in the overall experience. The primary issues were some of the staff, the room amenities, on the last day at checkout time, the elevator not working and we were on the third floor. The front desk associate on Saturday was a calamity. She was rude about pool towels and was clearly struggling on managing front end duties. Our first night our room had a tv and phone that were not working. The tv was fixed after a second request. We gave up on the phone issue once we saw how the front desk was handling other guests. Other guests complained about her as well. I bit my tongue and gladly checked out as planned on sunday. So dont make same mistakes i did and go off of misleading reviews.

Upon arrival, the woman at the desk gave us a free room upgrade! Our room felt like a mini studio with a separate seating area with its own TV. The sofa was a pullout bed as well. The bathroom was large and clean. The decor was modern and up-to-date. Breakfast was standard: waffles, eggs, meats, bagels, muffins, cereal, etc. There's a diner, grocery store, Mexican restaurant, and bar one block away. The beach is also a half block away, and about a 20-minute walk to the fishing pier. Big beach, beautiful!

Thee suite was nice, clean. The hotel was pet friendly. I saw alot of dogs in the hotel. Tasha and Joshua were extremely nice and accommodating. I was anle to check in early after a long drive. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The beach is a very short walk away.

The hot tub was out of order. The whole reason we chose this hotel was because my husband is disabled and wanted to soak in the hot tub.

They had no problem with me coming in early so i could park my car. They had a room ready. The staff was sooo nice anf pleasant. They were awesome. This is one small block away from the beach. I found lots of scallop shells. Room was nice cleam and thr bed comfortable

Everything closes quite early for a beach town but overall, it was pretty good.

Nice easy stay for a wedding. Room was fairly hot and took almost our entire stay to cool down. Woke up with no running water (shower, sink, toilet), so left immediately.

Birthday Celebration disaster: After arriving at my room on the third floor. We were told to get the elevators to open, we would have to call the front desk, so we asked to be moved to the first floor. Once we got settled in and unpacked and were resting in our beds, the A/C went out. Went to get assistance, he couldn't fixed a/c, so we were promised a late(2:00p.m.) check out due to several issues. When we went to the front desk the next morning around 11 a.m., the clerk was very loud and rude and stated we needed to get out now, that the clerk the night before didn't request a late check out for us, and they were booked to capacity, so we couldn't check out late. When asked for a manager, she gave us the manager's email and stated that they don't have one on site; she will email him at the end of her shift.

Food was very poor , eggs cold look and taste fake Fridge too small , pull out bed need new mattress, no conditioner in bathroom, , the AC sounds like a race car and shuts off during the night so woke up several time to turn on . NOT BEACH FRONT as advertised.

Elevator not working when we checked in had to tote all of our luggage upstairs when my sister had an injured ankle. Tub coating was coming off the tub. The room was never serviced the entire 3 day stay except when I asked them to empty trash when it was overflowing. My bathing suit was missing and I called to ask what happened, conveniently housekeeping came to my room and knew exactly where it was stuffed behind the toliet tank and wall. She went staight to where it was without looking around for it at all. Housekeeping supervisor was rude. Would never stay here again. I’d pay extra to stay somewhere with better service and higher quality room and staff.

Food left alot to be desired ,and communication wuth house keeper was impossible, we travel with canines so we dont let housekeeper in room and needed towels and toilet paper and rhe language barrier was difficult so we had to go to lobby for the 3 days we were there.The checkout was ok except that i opred for an email reciept and when i did not recieve it i phoned and the woman who answered the phone informed me that because i booked through expedia that they would send my invoice ,,,had i known that i informed her i would have opted for paper copy and at that point was informed that it would bot be an accurate invoice anyway !!! I travel extensively and often and have NEVER been tild tthis before ..

Continental breakfast was horrible. Room had a odor, sink was stopped up. Bathroom tub could of been cleaned better.

My room had a leak at the bathroom sink. They thought they had fixed it, but they needed to deeper repairs. We had to move rooms. I was not pleased with the room. It was an handicap assessable room. The room was smaller. We went from having six drawers to four drawers. I did not like how the bathroom was laid out. For a handicap room the sink and the bathtub were to high and the toilet was a standard toilet. The sink was to close to the tub I was afraid my grandsons would hit their heads on the counter. The staff was wonderful and pleasant to work with.

All I can say is you need exhaust fans in the bathrooms

Hotel provided what we needed. They served french toast sticks every day with different types of eggs. One of the few hotels that had a suite with bedroom door. They clean room every 3 days unless you request different.

The breakfast was not good. No fruit, toast, waffles were offered as an option. The English muffin with egg on it … not good at all and not appetizing in appearance. It was frozen as were the mini quiches and the sausage patties were not good. The yogurt, coffee and tea were good

The reception staff was not helpful. The Internet connection was not working. I called several times, but it did not help. I have to call the 1800 number for help. There was an unexpected parking fee of $12 per day. The bottle of water from the lobby for a charge of $350. It must be given freely to welcome the customer.

This was a great place to stay that was literally a five minute walk to the beach. Breakfast every day was good and the area was clean and looked after. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only real concern I had was that we were not told at check in that for a week’s stay, we would not have maid service every day. Their standard is every 3 days and it turned into 4 days for us. Towels and other necessities were readily available, so that helped.

Well when I first got there we couldn't get the TV on it was totally unplugged totally was dismantled from the previous occupants he had to which I had to help him fix it and tell him what was wrong with it then he left in the toilet stopped up then I couldn't get the air off and turn it back on it did not regulate I just have too many issues I was dissatisfied and I should expect a full refund or a complimentary visit thank you have a great day

I wanted to watch some NCAA basketball tournament on Saturday night 3/29/25. Called reception, they said cable was having issues and they would be out on Monday to fix it which wouldn't help me. I had to leave to go to a bar to watch the game. For 200.00 a night, you think they would rebate some money.

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay here. Very clean room and everyone was friendly and heloful. We only stayed one night, but wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we were in the area.

Overall the staff were super friendly. I will say what was terrible was the fact that our loud fire alarm went off for over an hour and we were told a maintenance person would be right up to fix it. We finally went down to the lobby and were told no one was on site to help- his was after over an hr and our neighbors started complaining. Then our ceiling started leaking water. We were offered a new room, which was also leaking. So we dealt with leaking ceilings and a wet carpet.

Front desk attendant Megan offered excellent service mulitple times including placing us in an excellent room due to our high-maintenance sleep issues. We slept wonderfully! And the director of housekeeping and also the engineering man were both high service, too. 1-minute walk to the sand. Love this quiet hotel.

Many kids and I stayed for 2 nights. Very convenient location and walking distance to the beach. Very clean location. Breakfast was so good and filling. Will definitely be staying again if the opportunity presents itself.

I saw people who looked like they were painting and working on the bldg. my daughter suggested this facility but said it was not like this when they visited here.

I liked the friendliness and the professionalism of Ray at the front desk and the friendliness of the breakfast staff. I didn’t like that I didn’t know ahead of time that the pool and spa were not in working condition. It’s uncomfortable to walk to another hotel to use their pool.

Absolutely loved my stay here for a quick trip in Jacksonville. The beach is beautiful, and great restaurants are within walking distance.

First I had my 75 year old mother and the elevator was broken and she had to walk up stairs on 2nd floor. No tissue or Kleenex. Janitor act like they was scared to give use some. The pool was closing at 3pm when it supposed to close at 10pm. The sheets was nasty. I had to go argue with customer service to get clean sheets. I ask for my money back to go somewhere else but she told me I booked with a third party so she couldn’t refund my money. I have plenty of pictures and I will be putting on review and I need all my money back from expedite.

The staff was wonderful and there was room to park with my 12x6 U-Haul without detaching from the car. Access to the beach was easy.

First time I forgot toothpaste and given some at each location! Then getting dressed for a wedding, I desperately needed a safety pin!! And was able to get one from the receptionist. The breakfast attendant was also excellent! She really went above and beyond to keep buffet filled. Friday morning there were so many people, but the front staff assisted with replenishing. Great teamwork! And they were all pleasant. Our room was very clean and the room attendants were very helpful and friendly. Thank you so much Fairfield hotels for making our short trip great!!

I didn't like that the room has a urine smell in it, the air was so stuffy and humid.

Beach access was good, first night air conditioner went out, second night NO WATER in sink shower or toilets, just horrible for accommodations. No exhaust fans in bathrooms so you cant see yourself in mirror after youbathe.Kids cried from being so hot in room.
