    Very clean and super nice staff, bed were fairly comfortable but microwave didn't work very well and breakfast was very limited but waffles were delicious overall great stay would come again for sure.

    Staff was super friendly, breakfast was standard continental fare. There was an eyebrow raising stain on the couch in the room but the bed and the bathroom were very clean which was great. Fridge in the room made wierd popping noises at night but for the price this hotel is great.

    We had to check in late (around 10 pm) and most gas stations in the area are closing or already closed. Looking into the vending machines and they are extremely dated (and mostly empty). Got to our room and the main king bed was nice, but the pull out was extremely damaged and dirty. We decided to still try it but when we asked the receptionist for linens for the pull out we were told she doesn’t have access to any of that. Which I found quite odd considering there were none in the room either so dont expect to use the pull out. Also upon opening it, my son found a dirty onesie shoved in the mattress. Appliances are extremely dated. Microwave was from the 90s but the mini fridge was cold so I guess that made up for it. We decided to share the king bed since it was only a short stay. Now the main reason I even booked this hotel is because they advertise breakfast. It’s convenient so I try to stay at hotels that offer it. Their breakfast was hot pockets (that you have to use the 1996 microwave to heat up), stale biscuits and a tiny crockpot with maybe 4 cups of white gravy in it. A couple of yogurts. Extremely watered down juice. Or dry waffles. No syrup, no butter, no toppings. Needless to say we left early and went to McDonald’s. Please thoroughly read these reviews because there is no way. Just make the extra drive and stay in NLR.

    Biggest downside for us is there is no elevator. For a big family with a lot of luggage this was a negative for us. Also the entire hotel smelled like marijuana. So bad that our luggage and clothes smelled like it at checkout. It made due for one night but wouldn’t stay here again

    We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the air-conditioning worked great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will stay here again when in the area. They recommended a Mexican Restaurant close by (within walking distance) that was very nice and great food.

    It takes a lot to make me uncomfortable, I've been to hundreds of hotels and never before have I been made to feel so uncomfortable and unwelcomed in any establishment. The manager of this hotel made me so uncomfortable that I stopped attending breakfast or exiting through the front door whenever he was on duty. In addition to the hostile and dismissive communication from the manager that made me feel unsafe, there was also his unclear communication with his staff to convey his messages when he wasn't on duty. I was told that room service came every other day, then I was told it comes daily when the manager requests it. There was no clarity in communication. I was staying here while renovating a house before moving in, it was the closest location and the manager behaved as though receiving packages was a personal offense. The manager had an issue with the boxes arriving and being stored in the bedroom till they were necessary on the job site. Upon checking out I asked the staff to alert me to any packages that did not arrive before checkout and I was told that at the managers request all packages would be returned to sender. I've now read other reviews that mention prejudice, might be it.

    There is no elevator so if you are on the second floor you have to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs by yourself because these people aren’t going to help you. Terrible customer service, they refused to put me on the first floor saying that the were full but there was no one in the parking lot the whole time. He waited until he checked me in to tell me I had to carry my bags up the stairs by myself. This took me several trips. If you are disabled: don’t even try it. The building is gross, the grounds are depressing. Construction everywhere, bad part of town, did not feel safe. It’s cheap. And you get what you pay for I suppose

    The parking lot had good lighting. The lobby is very nice and looked to be remodeled and smelled fresh, but as you walk down the hall to the rooms it wasn’t as clean. The room wasn’t horrible, but could definitely use some deep cleaning.

    Everything about this day was wonderful. The staff that check me in was very courteous. The room is clean, the bed was very comfortable in the bathroom with spotless. The breakfast in the morning was good, scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles. The only complaint I would have is that the street was under construction and made it a little hard to find my way at night.

    The room was decent, the sheets and covers were a little stained up. We got our own sheets to use while we were there becaise of this reason. Our refrigerator did not work at all and we let the people know about it and they said they were going to come look at it and they never did. The breakfast was good because they had a waffle maker. The people i interacted with were nice and they did respect my wishes of not coming in the room and cleaning during our stay.

    Stayed for one night just to sleep. The room wasn’t quite what I expected, the air conditioner/heat was super dirty, my shower current would not stay closed (annoying). I did just stay to sleep but for the price it could have been more kept up they definitely need to do some upgrades. I’m sure I will not be back.

    Breakfast wasn't that great. The waffle mixture was very thin. Everytime it was used in the hot waffle maker, the waffles would come out with thin walls and big air pockets in the freshly made waffle. Breakfast needs to be re-evaluated. Can be better.

    The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean but the fan in the bathroom did not work and the room was absolutely permeated with a horrible air freshener that was stuck intentionally into the front of the air conditioner. We found it immediately removed it and threw it outside but the room smelled like it terribly all night long.

    When we arrived we were placed in a room that had air freshener discs in the air conditioner vents. It was so strong that within 5 minutes of arriving, my husband started having an asthma attack. When I went to the front desk to change rooms, they charged us extra money to change rooms for the exact same room type. The front desk person said they had to cover up smells somehow.

    I had bought a frozen pot pie to microwave and eat that evening in the room. But the odor was still awful. I didn't eat it because I feared I'd vomit if I ate anything The next morning before checking out, I went to the front of the motel to get a luggage carrier. When I reentered the room, the odor was still very evident. For all the years I've stayed at hotels and motels, I had never experienced that. I'll never go back to that motel, and hope it never occurs anywhere else I stay.

    Room was hot when we entered as if the heat was on all day. Room had an odor, toilet was stopped up(we had to borrow plunger from front desk, because obviously they don't have plungers in their restrooms), and there was a massive hole behind the room door. I took pics and informed front desk of the situation and asked could they give me something in writing stating that I had initially informed them of the problem. He refused and had an attitude, last but not least, milk for the morning breakfast was spoiled. My wife and I had to go to IHOP FOR BREAKFAST INSTEAD. I would NEVER come here again and I surely would not recommend that anyone make reservations at this location.

    Fitness center and pool were kept up decently. The property is old but they have kept the foundation in tact. Just a few cosmetic touch-ups would make a great difference. Doors need to be repainted, rust residue can be fixed, carpets are old. I will definitely stay here again.

    We stayed here for one night as we where heading to Memphis for a few days. We had a great sleep even though arriving really late. The breakfast was great in the morning so that was very convenient. The beds were extremely comfortable and place was very clean the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The only thing I would make a compliant about has to do with the Electric Vehicle charging that is not any of the hotels fault but can be very expensive if you are charging for a full night. Recommend charging somewhere else before arriving to this location.

    Couldn’t connect to hotels WiFi account. Called front desk and was told they were connected on their phone and laptop, so no problem. Told me to keep trying. Had to rely on my phone’s cellular signal to try and work from my room. Front desk didn’t care that I and others in our group couldn’t connect. Otherwise it was what you would expect from quality inn.

    Wrong. The only slight saving grace was the employee on Saturday morning. He was kind, attentive, and checked in on everyone eating the complimentary breakfast. It started when we checked in after 1000p on Friday. We were pretty much ignored for almost 10 minutes before we could check in. (While we had two small children who were asleep on their feet) I figured the employee just hadn’t seen us or was actively busy with something they couldn’t put down. But no. It sounded like he walked around the corner and went to the bathroom with the door open, comes out drying his hands. Then proceeds to tell me I had two rooms for two nights, no. I cancelled one of the reservations via Expedia and only had one night. Continued to tell me Expedia was the only one who would give me my money back. (Expedia already took care of me) whatever. Just. Let me go to our room. I originally booked one night in a king room with a pull out by mistake. So cancelled that one to do two nights with two queen beds. This man proceeded to cancel the two queen bed room, without telling us that. So we walk to the room it is practically 1100p at this time and we were done. Beyond done. Room is a king size bed with a pull out. Couch cushions were filthy, the bed looked fine. No blankets or sheets or pillows for the pull out. And only two towels in the bathroom. This doesn’t even cover the smell.

    At check in they tried to charge me $100 up front for “security deposit.” When I balked at that he said it was in the Travelocity agreement. I pulled up the app and asked where? It took him a good THREE minutes on his own contract to find it! Several scrolls and a half dozen buttons to find it. He was very rude during all of this. He acted like two grown women were going to trash the place and he was “doing us a favor” by renting us a room. Then he said it could take up to two weeks to put the money back on my card. I cancelled the reservation and went elsewhere.

    This was a decent stay for the most part. Other than the people partying on a Saturday night running up and down the halls, yelling and slamming doors at 2 in the morning. Also when we left, there was a man lurking around, slowly creeping up while we were loading the car. We hurried and left.

    Although the receptionist was very helpful and had an excellent disposition to assist me, the rooms were extremely dirty. There was leftover food, water bottles from previous guests, and bugs throughout the room. Nails and hair were everywhere, and the mattress was in poor condition. Overall, I would give a score of zero for cleanliness and the condition of the installations.

    Excellent and supportive staff. Challenges with accessing the hotel due to road construction. Saved a lot of money by staying there instead of paying double for high end hotels with snobby hotel staffing. Will stay there again!

    This place is the proof that not all budget hotels are the same. It’s clean, the people running it are nice and helpful, everything works and they even have 2 laundry rooms & a fitness centre! The only down side is it doesn’t have a lift but there are only 2 floors so not a disaster. Definitely recommended!

    Stay was a stopover on the way back to Texas. Room was clean and comfortable. We got a handicap room as that was only ground floor avalable. Shower floor was very slick and I slipped and fell. Informed the desk clerk.

    The desk clerk was very helpful and cheerfully able to give me a ground floor room. The room was very clean, but they could have gone a little lighter on the Fabuloso cleaner. It took my nose a bit to get used to the strong cleaner's aroma. It was strong, but I knew it was clean. LOL Thank you.

    There are USB slots all over the room - in the desk lamp and by the bed! It was very quiet considering being by a major road. While there was no hot breakfast like eggs, bacon/sausage, or biscuits & gravy, there were packaged breakfast burritos to heat up, a waffle maker, packaged bagels, and good selections for bigger cups of yogurt. No issues at all!

    First of all, there's no elevator! The hotel is 2 stories, so...stairs. We needed a sofa bed for my daughter. The receptionist kept trying to give us a 2 queen bed room. I specifically asked for a king bed with a sofa bed. Took me 3 times asking before I made myself clear. Got upstairs...the room stank! Like it hadn't been used in quite a while! We turned on the heat and the fire alarm beeped at us! We were so tired, we tried to sleep. The beds were so old. Felt every spring! I found us a better hotel and checked out the next morning. We were refunded the unused nights. Don't go to this hotel!

    There are no stairs if you’re on the second floor. But the lady at the desk when we arrived that night was kind enough to offer to switch us to the first floor so we didn’t have to carry our luggage upstairs. The painting on the wall was had some chipping so revealed underlying red paint. The bathroom floor was chipping a bit. The microwave had some rust inside of it. We did make use of the mini fridge and were happy it was there. The free breakfast was underwhelming and had not eggs or sausage. Just mostly grab and go items but they did have a waffle maker. Although I was a bit disappointed considering the amount of good reviews I saw, the cost of the hotel was very affordable.

    The room was good. Front desk was good, helpful. The breakfast pricing/charging/voucher system is confusing and causes problems. They let you have certain things with certain breakfasts. Lots of people end up having to pay again. And I had the fish special on Friday, it looked nothing like the picture just crunchy little fish stick nuggets. Yuck

    We checked in at 11pm, the man who helped us was great. We called the front desk at about 1am and asked if we could have a late checkout. He agreed and said 2pm, we confirmed 3x since it was so generous. We woke up and ran to a water park around the corner, my husband stayed to work and rest. My husband calls me at 12:15pm saying that Ray banged on the door and demanded that he checks out within 20 minutes. He tried to explain to them that the man the night prior said that we could check out at 2pm. I called since the reservations in my name. I was spoken to in a disrespectful manner by Ray. I asked to speak to the GM, Ray said to call in 10 mins. I attempted to reach the hotel back. My husband was busy getting the things out of the room and moving his meeting to another location. The hotel sent me to voicemail multiple times. I received a phone call from Expedia stating that I was refusing to check out. We never refused to check out. I explain my husband already checked out. Since they called I mentioned the painting in the room was not finished, a vent cover was on the floor, there was a hair tie left on the bathroom counter and soap residue. I asked what they could do. I was told that the hotel disagreed with what I said, I mentioned that I have a video from room number, showing all the items. I always do since I'm traveling with children. The Expedia rep says that they would not review my footage and that they will be only considering what the hotel is reporting. 0 stars
