Everything I always enjoy my stay here! The rooms are the best out of all the hotels in Jackson! I love the fact the beds are separate and not together neither in the same room! I don’t like the fact there aren’t any brooms or dust pans in the rooms incase you make a mess then and there and need to clean it up.

Not that much - I wouldn’t stay here again The main entrance smells like cat pee. Rugs are worn and dirty. The entry way is dirty day of arrival to day of departure. The couch is worn out - no support on seats. Bed needs a new mattress - no support. The floors behind the nightstand was filthy.

African-American male who told me his name was Ken without a name tag was very rude he belongs working for the IRS or collections he asked me for my ID and credit card I placed them a few inches from his fingers he asked me three more times with an attitude to put them into his hands I told him I would not and I didn't like his attitude will not be back

Jeremiah was very friendly. Breakfast was great and so was the hot tub. Unfortunately the mattress was very worn out and I was having pretty bad back pain yesterday which makes for a long 8 hour drive. This isy second stay and unfortunately next time I will go elsewhere because the mattress problem seems to be ongoing.

The Residence Inn is within the area we always travel to. The rooms are great, the carpet, the tile, the tops of all tables and dressers, bathroom, kitchen, etc. always very clean. We never have been there when everything was not clean and in order. The Staff are always friendly and helpful. Every hotel or motel should be like this one. We have stayed at other places in the Jackson, TN area before, but when we found this one we don't bother to go anywhere else.

This property exceeded my expectations in every aspect important to me. Cleanliness, pet friendly, quiet, comfortable and spacious rooms. Every staff member I encountered greeted me and offered any assistance they could provide. I had been traveling for multiple days and this hotel was the only one where even my 2 dogs relaxed. I will repeat this visit.

The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was amazing - fresh & so many choices. Bed was comfortable too! The carpet is worn (fraying at the edges) & tile was cracked in the kitchen area. Other that it was nice - the lobby & outdoor area were updated and cozy. Staff was friendly & attentive.

First this was the second time the desk clerk tried to charge me twice. Third party is not appreciated I don’t think you want to wait because your staff is new working the front desk holding my money for one second. Sunday I was gone all day coming back to the room to an open door, I could tell the maid had been in the room because towels had been refreshed. The couch pull out bed had trash popcorn and what ever was left in the room for me. Thanks for the experience. Sorry isn’t acceptable in my opinion. Don’t use a third party with the Marriott.

Our room was not cleaned the 2nd day we were there, so we ran short on towels and toilet paper. The toilet in one room was running constantly and we requested maintenance and that was not done. The shower overflowed as well in the same bathroom (room 107). Vent in 2nd bathroom did not work as well. Breakfast had a lot of variety, but the hot food was lukewarm at best. Typically we have no issues in residence inns and stay in the 2 bedroom suites often, but this time around was just not good.

Made prepaid reservations with Hotels.com for a full suite at this property. They did not have a suite and had to settle for a studio. They could not give me credit for the difference in price. Clerk was not very friendly or helpful. He said he would have to contact Hotels.com. I have not heard anything back except another review request. I have used Hotels.com for personal and business for the past few years….but considering making a change if this isn’t rectified.

The front desk staff at check-in was amazing! Upon entering my room, #104, there was an odor of cooked fish. Then I awoke at 5 AM to the overwhelming smell of bacon cooking. There is something wrong with the air duct system in this hotel for rooms on the 1st floor AND not adjacent to the lobby kitchen. Thanks

The original room we were given (a one bedroom suite that we booked) smelled so strongly of cleaning supplies that we felt sick. The man at the front desk was great and apologized and switched our room to a normal smelling one bedroom suite.

Such a beautiful property and so much possibility for greatness. The beautiful indoor pool was so cold it may as well have been empty until summer. The hot tub was comfortable, but filled to the rim of the edge even above the skimmer, and so deep that anyone under 6’ tall couldn’t sit without being completely under water, and if you turned the jets on it overflowed. Our room was wonderful, but the temperature was 69° even if turned down to 65° and entirely too warm for comfortable sleep. The four pillows on the bed were identical, and equally uncomfortable. Worst nights sleep in a hotel in years. Didn’t expect much from the breakfast, so didn’t even bother. Extremely disappointed in this visit!

The first room we were placed in the shower didnt work. So late in the evening we had to pack up and move to only be moved to a room with mold. The website said there was a pool and it wasnt until we went to go to the pool that we found out it was under maintenance.

We went out of town to look at houses. I booked this particular hotel because it stated it had a hot tub. Being in the car all day we wanted to use the hot tub to relax. The hot tub was not working when we got down there, used the phone to ask for help, front desk said "he would be right there." That didnt happen we waited 20 minutes and no one came. We saw a maintenance guy and also said something about the hot tub he says," oh yeah it be like that sometimes." Really, not your finest moment.

This is a good hotel especially if you are staying with a pet for several days becaus it is a flat fee. It is older and the bathrooms need to be updated the caulking around the tubs need to be cleaned better or just completly remodel and update the rooms.

Everything stood out - cleanliness of the pool/spa area, the fitness center, the room, the breakfast area, etc. I wish I could remember the name of the staff because they were incredibly friendly. I could not recommend this location more (especially if you have a pet).

One of the best stays. Staff was absolutely exceptional! They let me check in early, as soon as they had the room clean. The lady brought out fresh cookies while i was waiting. They even sent the maintenence tech to check all the appliances and change ac filter. We got to breakfast a little late, and the gentlemen cleaning up told my girlfriend to come in and get whatever we wanted. Eveyone was very professional and courteous. It was very clean and well maimtained. Definitely staying there again!

Room was so beyond dusty! The headboard had dust all over it and the couch and light fixtures! The headboard had so much dust I had to wipe it off before I could go to sleep it was filthy , I felt like dust was getting in my mouth the whole time I was laying down. I truly would like a refund honestly. The staff were nice. And the hotel it’s self was nice. But the cleanliness was not good at all!

I am writing to formally file a complaint and request a full refund regarding my recent experience involving a reservation transfer between the Marriott Residence Inn and the Fairfield Inn. My reservation was originally made at the Residence Inn through a third-party booking site. Prior to arrival, I called the Residence Inn to notify them of a late check-in. During that call, I was informed that my reservation had been transferred to the Fairfield Inn and was told, verbatim, that “we’ll cover it.” However, no one at that time disclosed how many nights the transfer was for. Upon checking in at the Fairfield Inn, the front desk staff also did not specify the number of nights included in the transferred reservation. Based on the information provided, we reasonably believed that our stay was covered through our original checkout date of Wednesday, October 15. To our surprise, we later received an email on Sunday, October 12, stating that it was our checkout date. When we spoke with the front desk, we were told that the reservation was only for one night. After contacting the Residence Inn again, we were informed that the transfer had only been for one night and that we could return there, information that was never communicated to us at any stage. This series of miscommunications caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and confusion.

The tiles on floor were not attached, room smelled like mold, bathroom vent had cardboard blocking fan so it wouldn't let odors or humidity out. Upon arriving they said they didn't have the right room and that they had secured 2 rooms instead but since I was with younger children I couldn't put them in their own room so we had to improvise. They said no one could get in touch as they didn't have my contact info but I am a hotels.com member and they could have reached out instead of waiting till I checked in to tell me of an issue. breakfast was good though.

Parking was ok. Room smelled like someone smoked in it. I was looking everywhere for one of my daughter's toys she got for her birthday and found it in the couch right after I found a half smoked cigar. Keep in mind, this was a couch that folded out to a bed.

The parents of a kids baseball team (ourselves included) booked rooms at this hotel. We were told on Friday that the pool was not working because of a chemical issue but it would be ready Saturday. The pool was not available all weekend. They did have a basketball court.

Very clean room and nice hotel. Staff was very sweet and kind. Their breakfast had a very wide variety and was super organized and clean. It offered options I have never seen at other hotels. Although I wish there was an option for waffles. LOL! My only concern was whatever was under the carpet in the hallways on the second floor. The subflooring was very uneven and felt as though there were holes or missing floorboards under the stained carpet. Maybe like the floor had suffered water damage from moist environment?? The carpet in the hallways and room seemed kind of nasty, but I am weird and won't walk barefoot at many hotels for this reason. I would definitely stay here again despite the carpet.

Manager supervisor was rude & did not acknowledge us standing there as we weere waitimg go be checked in. We were the only ones standing in line. The service was very good, everyone was kind and helpful. The first room we were put in smelled a little like urine, however the front desk person was able to put us in another room down the hall and that room was great and did not smell. The second room was clean and we were able to enjoy our stay. The pool was nice, and the hotub was great, although I wish it opened up a little earlier since my kids were ready to jump in at 7am but it did not open until 8am. I did appreciate the full size fridge and also being able to cook dinner instead of eating out again.

I loved the hotel & the experience in all. Chef Joshua really cares when he makes the breakfast and Chef Dj is super sweet and also a great cook. Hotel front desk care team was great my whole 2 days of the stay. The suite with the kitchen has everything you’ll need. The fire place was beautiful. Beds were super soft and the studio suite was beautiful and I loved my experience. I am definitely coming back!!

It wasn't anything special. The room was nice enough, but there was stuff on the door to the room and the bathroom door. When we tried to chek in, we waited a good 10 minutes for the guy to show up. There was a bell we rang several times. He finally waltzed in from outside and was rude. The ladies that were there the next morning were much nicer. They also do not have a covered loading area. It was pouring rain when we were packing up to leave.

Great stay. I enjoyed the room. My omly comment is the bed lamp outlets need to be repaired. I use a medical equipment to sleep CPAP and the socketa are loose. The one nearest the window is not useable. The one xloaeat to the bath room works when you don't turn on the lamp and the socket is loose.

There was a fire ring outside of my window. There were loud guests until after midnight. I was told that since they were long-term guests and the fact that I had booked through Expedia that I would not receive a refund. Then they advertise pet friendly. And I found out as I checked in that pet friendly is yes pets are welcome and they charge a $75 fee for cleaning fee. Need to explain what pet friendly means on the website right beside where it says pet friendly. I picked this hotel because it was rated very good on the Expedia website. I do not agree!

Generally clean and fairly well maintained. With the exception of the floors, our room was clean on arrival. The floors in kitchen and bathroom areas had been mopped, but were sticky. We requested a re-mop, and were told a they would attend to it. Didn't happen. 2nd request made, still not corrected. Empty apology when we checked out, claiming "Policy" due to COVID in May of 2025. Not OK.

For some reason there was the same lady at the front desk at night and in the morning. I don't know if she had to work a double shift or what? Unfortunately the mattress was kind of old and worn out and didn't have any support. Secondly the coffee machine in my room wasn't working. I don't know why but I couldn't press the button to turn it on.

When we arrived the staff working the front desk, her name was Essence, was extremely rude. I have never encountered in all my times of traveling have I met anyone who was as rude as her. Our room was not ready and she said she didn’t know when it would be ready even though it was well after check in time. I also informed her that we needed to get dressed for a graduation that we were in town for. She indicated oh well, not her problem. So we finally got to our room which was not cleaned, no toilet paper, or Kleenex. I informed them that my light by my bed didn’t work as well as several in kitchen. Good service. The sofa bed mattress is terrible so daughter slept on couch, which was adequate for one night. Bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked but it was ok. Best part was DJ serving breakfast! Such a great attitude and exuded joy!

Bed too soft, one side of bed felt like a sinkhole when you lay down. The cooked breakfast was horrible. I will not recommend nor stay here again.

We were very impressed with the room and all round service. For a one night stay with a couple and another adult the 2 bedroom was perfect.

Rude lady at check in and out! Room for price should have been better. Stains on couch. No pull out couch bedding. Dirty fridge and tables. Cracked bathroom sink. Best things was breakfast! Delicious and lots to choose from.

Properly clean cigarette ashes when someone smokes in a room as well as spray for bugs one was in my bed when checking in!

The room had dirty pans and pots. The bathroom tub didn’t have tube , was missing from the tub. The bath ceramic had came from the lower wall. The ice maker in the refrigerator it didn’t work at all and there was no ice tray to make ice. The Assistant that watched over watch over while the Manager was on vacation. Told me on the phone that she already has that particular room waiting for me, knowing it had all those issues. She knew room 305 had issues when she assigned it to us. Even though it was just a one night stay over. Also once you check out the room the Mgr Assistant will not release your incidental fees back to you 3 days after you have left from their facility. Assistant Mgr, likes to hold on to it, hoping you will forget it!

Housekeeping never came to our room so we didn't have clean towels, toilet paper was low, garbage was not emptied, bed not made (no big deal for the bed)

Furniture had bad shot on it, the water in bath tub wasn’t go out, I asked for sheet on put over the nasty couch the receptionist told me to come and get it, no big towels I was told to come and get the them, the towels in kitchen was old and dingy, dishes in cabinet was not organized, fridge was not getting cold, I just hated my sta come stay, the reception had a bad attitude

His grades were good and he improved from 91% to 95% from the previous semester. His Spring Break request was a road trip. We chose Residence Inn because we wanted to still have that feel of home, to be able to cook, etc. Thanks for a great experience and a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay! The man at the front desk that checked us in was super polite, down to the maintenance man that went out of his way to bring my 6 year old some ketchup! Wish I would have gotten their names!!!

Everything was good with the stay only had a issue when ceiling started leaking not sure if was cooling system or what it got very bad but everything else was great

The hotel was great, immaculate, the rooms with the kitchen was an added bonus as we spent a week here, didn’t have to go out to eat every night! Breakfast was a great selection and different each morning, not just scrabbled eggs! The staff were so friendly always with a smile no matter if you were coming in or going out, helpful with any questions and genuinely didn’t mind talking to you! If ever I am in Jackson TN again, this is where I’d stay!

Overall cleanliness for ok.. staff was tolerable.. I was charged a smoking fee after i checked out of $274, and DID NOT SMOKE! so i guess the staff needed that money! Will not ever stay again!

Stay was ok. Beds were a little hard. Hot tub was not working. Was nice having the 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms.
