Over all our stay was excellent only thing I have to say about it is that we were downgraded to a queen instead of the king we booked because they say since we booked from Expedia that if people book through the hotel directly they get priority choice in rooms

The staff were amazing and helpful. One of the elevators was out of use at the time we stayed there.

The room was spotless and well appointed. The bathroom door is frosted, so if anyone needs to use the bathroom at night, it’s a bit of a nuisance with the light coming through. That said, the property was clean, and had everything we needed for the weekend. Thanks!

I had planned on two nights but became ill and could only spend one night. Staff couldn’t help b/c booked through 3 party-Expedia. Expedia wasn’t able to get me any refund or compensation. Other than that-stay was good!

The elevator was broken and the pool was closed! We purposely booked that hotel for the pool. I can’t believe it was closed on Memorial Day weekend. Also we had five guests staying in our room which we indicated when we booked our reservation and we only had four towels. Just ridiculous. Also the front desk girl was not welcoming at all. I don’t think hospitality is her forte.

Clean facility

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The new computer operating system took about 15-20 mins to check in each group of people. Good news was they hadn’t yet figured out how to charge people $18/day for parking, so that was free. The manager thinks the operating system will be gone soon, since it is SUCH a complicated/slow process. There are two elevators at the hotel and one was down, so it took a lot of extra time waiting. The pool is TINY and there is NO HOT TUB. The pool is about 10’ X 25’. Literally, the maximum bather load is SIX people! That’s how small it is. The max number of people on the deck is 51—I don’t see how that many people could ever fit in the room, and that would technically make for 8.5 people on the deck per swimmer. The room was GREAT, very spacious (we got a double queen) but the beds were WAY TOO firm. Way too hard. It was really difficult to get moderately comfortable, but our kids didn’t mind. The sofa bed could be used as a sofa (obviously), one bed, or two beds (one pulled out on the floor and one at sofa level). The continental breakfast was a solid “fine”. Both mornings there were 4 juice choices (yum!), link sausages, scrambled eggs, breakfast sandwiches, limited cereal (only fun one for the kids was Cocoa Puffs), tasty coffee, bagels, etc. Nice location and room, great staff, hard bed, tiny pool, no hot tub. Will not be staying here again.

We were in Issaquah to visit our nephew and chose this hotel. Ava at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

Only "bad" thing i could say is the pool was pretty chilly but nothing bot bareable.

The heat/air was noisy so we turned to OFF position, but there was a steady loud humming that made it very difficult to sleep. We mentioned this to front desk and they said it was the humidifier that had to turn off from front desk. It solved the problem but would have nice to know before loosing sleep the night before. Leave an info note/sign on the unit.

Staff professional and friendly; however, we arrived at 10:00 pm and there was no room service or bar service available. Front desk assisted but only after noting nothing was available and then finding the card in the room stating to call for bar needs. Many travels including myself would appreciate services for at least 11pm - 12am arriving late from business travel in.

The room layout was so wonderful! The beds were extremely comfortable and I loved the walk in closet storage space. Breakfast was adequate but not great and would have loved a hot tub.

This was an excellent hotel. Clean, modern, well-staffed with friendly, helpful employees. Rooms were large, modern and clean. Would stay here again.

Most staff were friendly while some were grumping who were serving Monday morning breakfast. Breakfast choices were better the second day if they had enough to serve everyone and kept stocked. I had to ask for items to be refilled just have them run out again 2 mins later with all the guest and the items were not refilled again before she closed the station down with 15 mins left of breakfast time which was only 2 hours to access.

My room spacious and spotless. Really appreciated the layout. It felt like an apartment, the open sleeping and living areas are separated by a partition that serves as a desk for work or a place to sit and eat. The beds were extremely comfortable with super soft and cool to the touch sheets. The breakfast buffet is included and not like some “continental” style breakfasts at other hotels. There’s real scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, pork sausage, biscuits and gravy, salsa, waffle mix and maker, bagels cream cheese, yogurts, fruit, oatmeal, granola, raisins,breakfast sandwiches, juices, milk coffee. The staff was warm and attentive and seemed to truly care about my experience. I had a wonderful stay.

I would just like to highly praise the staff at the front desk!!! They are the absolute best and treated me like a friend! It's one of the reasons I keep going back to this location. The one thing I would like to mention is that the biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were EXTRA DRY and just crumbled. They were pretty gross to eat. :( Everything else was great. The room was clean, smelled clean, had plenty of towels, and was very comfortable. Definitely my go-to hotel when I'm on the west side of the state.

My family and I loved staying here. The only issues we had were with people parking improperly in the garage and the juice machine at breakfast was broken. Two things that didn't affect our stay. Next time we come to the PNW, we know where we will be staying!

This has become our favorite place to stay when we travel to Seattle. The people who work there are so friendly and professional. It’s easy to get into town and back on the freeways. The breakfast is delicious and has everything we would want to eat in the morning for adults and kids. The kids love the food. The covered parking is always safe and they don’t charge as much as the Seattle hotels. We will be back in the summer. Thank you.

I gave the hotel a low rating because ever since I made the reservation, I have been getting 50-100 spam emails daily from Mariott. Blocking them does not help, more keep coming.

Called ahead, mentioned my kids were excited to swim… no one thought to mention it’s CLOSED. Pricing was presented as a ~$50 upgrade… ended up being an additional $330 room. That’s not miscommunication—that’s misleading. Woke up to half our room having no power before a 7:45 AM Seattle Children’s appointment. Front desk response? “Bummer… I’ll let my manager know later.” Power. Pool. Communication. These are BASIC expectations. Do better.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was our first time staying at Springhill in Issaquah and was recommended by our daughter who had stayed there in the past. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area. The pay for parking might discourage some travelers.

Stayed over the weekend. Nice quiet location with access to trail network. The full hot breakfast was also enjoyable. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star is the room design. The bathroom has opaque glass sliding doors which allow the bathroom light to shine on the bed. Not ideal when one partner is hoping for a dark room to sleep.

We checked in 4 pm 3/13 and were told there was no power. The clerk mentioned power should be on in 2 hours. My family and I sat in the dark ate dinner in the dark there was no heat and no way to charge phones until 2 am 3/14. I would like a partial refund since I feel I was over charged and did not get the full experience. If I would have know that we’d be sitting in the cold dark we could have just stayed in our vehicle. The fact that there was no power and I was charged 206$ just to basically sit in dark and cold.

Loved the room and fridge/microwave/coffee maker. Very comfortable to stay. Bathroom was also excellent and bed was comfortable and well dressed. Also, loved the covered parking! The only thing that could have been better was tv placement in room, though in order to watch from bed or sofa, it pretty much had to be where it was. The problem was that it couldn't turn far enough towards either for optimum viewing. The view was good only from one end of the sofa and one side of the bed.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, although both rooms for our family had some very "heavy-footed" people above us on the fifth floor. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We were there for a funeral and not familiar with the area, and they helped us with dry cleaning sites, restaurants and florists!

It would have been a lot better if Travelocity had informed us we needed to pay an additional $20 for parking

Beautiful hotel! Staff are so sweet. Easy check in and check out. I loved the West Elm furnishings. I am going to purchase the sofa sleeper couch now. It was so comfortable and classy. We loved our stay, but not fond of the bathroom right at the foot of the bed. Other than that, it’s a 10!

I don't remember being told on Expedia that the hotel would charge me to park there, which seems ridiculous. The rooms are updated and clean, but include non-private bathrooms, with enhanced echo capacities. On the positive side, you won't want for sausage at breakfast; they do provide adequate protein.

I would recommend having more trash cans in the room. I was also surprised to find an empty refrigerator. Most hotels I've stayed in stock the refrigerator. There was not a lot of light in the room and there were no ceiling fans. They did supply an iron and an ironing board. I was charged for parking our rental car in the hotel's parking garage.

This is a lovely hotel. My room was spotless, with a comfortable bed. The shower had powerful spray and plenty of hot water. Breakfast had tons of options. My only tiny complaint is that they probably need to get a new toaster because my bagel never got brown even on the “dark” setting after 5 minutes. :) I would stay here again for sure.

As usual, lovely and comfortable. Clean and safe. The area is convenient. Close to shopping and dining. Close to hiking destinations. The outdoor fire pit area is not always very accessible if we see it on we would enjoy walking out in the brisk air. Check in was friendly but a little bit of a wait. There was only one person available so I rushed to the downstairs public bathroom. The breakfast staff was not friendly or attentive. It was a busy weekend with an athletic team in town. A request to receive pancake batter was made but we felt uncomfortable. Even just to see if there was a bowl of fruits available so we can grab a banana was uncomfortable. The housekeeping staff was getting coffee and there was no coffee in one machine and creamer was empty. I appreciate the milk choices however.

No comment

Upon checkout, a different, older employee failed to waive the parking fee despite the prior offer. When questioned, the older employee verbally harassed us, accused us of "stalking" without evidence, and aggressively snatched the receipt from our hand, ordering us to leave. As a matter of fact, we were bullied and assaulted.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Especially the front desk!

The staff were very friendly. Love the free breakfast, coffee, and hot/cold water all day. Our only complaint was the air-conditioner. It was very difficult to set the temperature at a comfortable level and was very loud. When we turn the air off, it was quiet but too warm, but when we had it on, it was freezing and was loud. We didn't spend much time in the room, so wasn't too bad. Overall, a great place with friendly staff.

Outstanding location, gorgeous landscaping, pleasure to walk around, lovely patio, great service, friendly staff. Food good. Only thing is they need more hooks to hang robes, etc, in bathroom, but otherwise wonderful place. Would absolutely go back.

I can't thank the hotel manager and staff enough. I am an RN who is here working a few night shifts to help a family with their loved one on Hospice. I was hoping to check in early, after my first shift, so I could rest sooner than later. My expectations weren't very high after talking with a few other hotels the night before. I called in the morning, after my shift, to confirm my reservation and the kind young woman on the phone said "I heard from my manager early this morning, and your room is ready". I'm beyond thankful for the difference this made! My room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Family friendly property, enjoyed our stay, rooms are spacey. The surrounding area is quiet and good restaurants and shops in surrounding area.

Additionally, the suite felt much smaller than it appeared in the photos. The refrigerator did not have a freezer compartment, which made it inconvenient as we were unable to store frozen items like ice cream. The breakfast was also disappointing, with very few options. The parking area was quite tight as well. On a positive note, the room was very clean, and the sofa bed was from West Elm, which made it quite comfortable.

Nice hotel

Brand new hotel. The complimentary breakfast was much better than expected. Staff seemed happy and friendly. Restaurants within walking distance. Only complaint is that the air-conditioners were a bit loud and overly powerful for the size of the rooms, but that's not unusual in hotels.

Location was good- close to everything we needed

Our stay was great. The plug in for the coffee pot was not available for use. The desk lady tried to fix it but we moved coffee pot so all ended well. The ac is either full blast and freezing or hardly working. It is a ver y convenient place for us when we have appointments at Swedish-Issaquah

Pretty standard hotel but everything was clean. Average breakfast (runny eggs, bacon, cereal bar, waffle iron, muffins, bagels, fruit). Indoor pool and good size fitness room. Parking is $18/day. Room was large and very comfortable. Stayed two nights & left at 11:30 day one but did not get housekeeping, which was surprising.

Friendly staff, Very clean well kept property with the exception of a malfunctioning bathtub drain stopper in 524. Tub would not drain. Nice ADA rooms with plenty of room for maneuvering around. Also well equipped with amenities, fridge, kureg coffeemaker etc. TV placement made for difficult viewing. Breakfast and kitchen staff were excellent!

The hotel is tucked away in an interesting spot. It’s a nice area, but does seem a little out of place. It is clean and well maintained. Besides the pool being small and the pull out bed being rather uncomfortable, it was a very nice stay and very clean. Breakfast was nice, with waffles (though having two waffle makers would help eliminate the long line), scrambled eggs (and hard boiled eggs), cereal, oatmeal with toppings, yogurt, milk, dairy free milk, sausage, oranges, and juice. I would not hesitate to stay here and would come again.

Decent hotel but charging $18 a night to park on top of room fee is anwful. And breakfast is a joke, same breakfast every day. Staff seem like robots sucked into the daily grind.

We were given a smaller room with only one king bed. We had booked a room with ‘multiple beds’ AND a sofa bed. The pictures showed two queen beds and a sofa bed. I inquired with staff and was told they sold out of those rooms because so many families were booking. Even though we booked in advance! The desk staff told me they were sorry and that they would ‘waive’ the parking fee. This hotel charges customers $18/day for staying at the hotel. I said great but I also want the room I paid for. She said tomorrow we can move you. I agreed. It never happened. Then upon checkout they promptly charged me $36 for parking and sent the invoice to my email. Lovely. Please do better Springhill Suites in Issaquah, WA. Pay more attention. Lame

Sour milk in my continental breakfast, internet wouldn’t work on my laptop, power went out in the middle of the night (not faulting the hotel). Mentioned we were staying for our wedding the next day, no acknowledgement whatsoever.

my experience

I chose this property because it was close to Seattle and I did not want to stay in downtown. I also chose this particular location for the pool, as I always try to find a pool to let the kids burn through energy. However, the water was not contained in the pool area and my son slipped outside the pool door and hit his head on the door jam. When I spoke with maintenance, he told me there were too many kids to keep up, but I insisted he cleaned it up outside the pool area (hallway). The pool was much, much smaller than the picture and my eyes were burning from the chlorine, even though I did not swim. The lounge was also closed as they did not have a back up bartender, and the continental breakfast was nothing extraordinary. Overall, the facility and staff were nice, but not $250 nice. It served its purpose, but I would stay somewhere else in Issaquah, if the situation presented itself again.

Our second time here for a local marathon. Great hotel, rooms are beautiful with lots of space and very comfortable beds. Spotless bathrooms, great showers. Complimentary coffee and tea always available at the lobby, plus the staff are always nice. This time around they were nice enough to give all the marathon guests late checkout which was much needed and appreciated.
