Location and view both fantastic. Pick up at the ferry. Communication with the owner and upgrade to better resort for free. Early check in no problem. Crazy scary ride back to ferry in very old shuttle with crazy driver. Lady at the breakfast was very nervous and not friendly. Gave us the feeling that we are not welcomed. Otherwise perfect.

It was a bit cold in the room, but I guess for this season it was to be expected. A bit far from the center, around 25 mins walk which was fine downhills but the way back uphills is not very pleasant. They can however offer you a ride if you don't want to walk.

Exceptional

The only downside was that our car rental was a big SUV and the roads leading to the property were too narrow for the car so I recommend parking away from the property.

The view from the terrace was breathtaking. Our room and bathroom were both comfortable and impeccably clean. A car or scooter is needed due to the steep road, We didn’t mind but may not suit all travellers. The owner's reaction also disappointed us; he yelled when we reported the broken coffee machine in the appartement’s shared kitchen. I really didn't appreciate this.

Lovely room and terrace, nice comfy sofa in reception area, great breakfast, great staff and fantastic view of the sea and castle. Highly recommended. Nothing really, it's a short, steep walk up from the town but they offered me free lifts if I wanted. I didn't bother, it's no problem to walk it.

The host Carlo was fantastic, he gave us always a lift and helped us a lot. The house is beautiful and the view just stunning! The view and heavenly sweet oranges from the tree in the garden.

We were met at the ferry and driven up to the property in a tuk tuk which was fun. We were accommodated at Relais bijoux which had stunning views over the bay of Naples . The room was great and we enjoyed a substantial breakfast before being driven down to the bus. A lovely experience, we would come again

The breakfast was really nice, great view from the hill to the sea and city center. Staff was really friendly. The floors were quite dirty, bed was a bit uncomfortable, there were small holes in bed sheets. Although the windows had bug nets, somehow big wasps were able to enter the room and it was really scary since we had small kids with us. Also, we asked for a baby bed for our 8-month old, and instead the couch was folded open and the extra bed was made there. That was kind of strange and not a very good option for that little child. I also was a bit confused about the paying. The booking.com site had info that we must pay for the accommodation 1-7 days before the arrival via bank transfer. When we arrived, we were told that they accept only cash. We also asked for the check, but never got it. Again something that I hadn’t considered, strange that the paying info in the booking.com and the reality did not match.

Superb

The owner and staff are very nice. Shuttle picks you up from the ferry. Water bottles available for free in the common space. Private bathroom is large and bed was reasonably comfortable. A little far from the main area but with the shuttle service it works out just fine.

Lovely b&b, shuttle service provided, breakfast was really tasty and service was great. Host carlo was very accomodating. Good value for money. Lots of recommendations for places to go by Carlo Breakfast not in same location as room (transport provided though which was good), not clear from description that hotel is up a very steep which may not be accessible for some

The views were breathtaking and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the hotel had many yummy options. The room we stayed in was a bit damp and musty. We couldn’t keep the doors or windows open because of the mosquitoes.

Carlo is very welcoming, a true hospitality professional. We were pleasantly surprised,that we had received more facilities than advertised. Breakfast was served at their other unit, but we had a driver who picked us up to take us for breakfast and also transported us back. Breakfast was way better than the expected italian croissant and coffe. We would definetely come back and maybe rent out the whole villa. Don't go to Ischia with a car, roads are extremely narrow. Our car surivived with no scratches but mostly because we were lucky.
