Staff was friendly and helpful.

The shower and water pressure was wonderful! The bed was clean and comfortable. Nothing was close by to buy food or water. The vending machines were old and outdated, coins only. The place smelled of foreign foods and a room had a towel stuffed under the door from the outside. The carpet was damp and the place was very musty.

Best staff of a hotel I have ever stayed in. Its next to a Target, 1 min walk, and there is a full kitchen. Very comfortable.

I had a nice stay at this hotel. I was a bit disappointed because when I got out of the shower, a bug fell off the ceiling in the bathroom. Otherwise, this was a nice stay with good staff, and the rooms had everything you would need, including a stove.

The room was enormous and well stocked. You could stay there comfortably for a good long while. It's within walking distance of a shopping center and restaurants. The staff was lovely. My only complaint is the breakfast only had milk and sweetened yogurt for protein.

I have stayed here a couple of times as its convenient for visiting relatives in the area. Nice clean, quiet hotel. My room was ready upon arrival. Bed was comfortable and when I got cold there was a blanket in the closet. Front desk staff were friendly, ready with nearby recommendations and set up my wakeup call (and I got it!). Housekeeping was friendly and had my bed ready when I returned to my room. Its a little hard to find as its behind a business strip center and less obvious but thats an advantage in my view. Recommended.

Everything was very good. If there were any criticisms it would be that the sofa sleeper was not in very good condition . Also, there were no sheets available for the sleeper sofa.

Just FYI, if you’re in a wheelchair their shuttle cannot accommodate you. That would have been good information to have before I booked my stay. They would not cancel my reservation saying it wasn’t their problem I couldn’t ride the shuttle. So rude. Also, I booked this off a Park and Fly site, but this hotel charges $10 night for parking. We ended up having to buy parking at the airport. Did not eat breakfast bc the guy in front of us licked his fingers and proceeded to touch every food surface. There was no sanitizer bucket to clean up after him. Just disgusting.

It was a very peaceful stay. We have target right behind it which is unfortunate that they aren’t connected but you can definitely walk to it! I felt secure because the only way to get into the building is if you have a card!

The room was great, the hotel was clean, everyone working there was friendly, and I will stay there again when I am in the area next. It is an extended stay hotel, so the rooms have some dishes, a normal sink, a fridge, microwave, and a two-burner counter stove. I didn't cook anything, but was able to go to a grocery store and get some good snacks. The only thing to watch out for is missing the turn- when you see the Panda Express, turn right and you will get to the hotel. It took me a day or two to figure this out because the hotel is on the service road, it is not easy to turn around. But, this is not really the fault of the hotel, although they should consider a prominent sign on the side of the service road.

Hair was everywhere, bathroom needed an upgrade and the sofa was ripping apart. I booked this hotel because it was rated an 8.5 out of 10, unless the clerk upfront gave me (a travel agent) a bad room.

PROS: We booked the room with 2 queens and a couch and we are happy with that choice. It is very roommy and perfect for our family of 5. I liked that we can get direct assess to the rooms from the parking lot on the side of the building, which was super helpful because we have a little toddler. I was pleasantly surprised that the bathroom was equipped with all the necessities including Dove brand products for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The room is clean. Nice big fridge and mini kitchen. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: The floor of our room is sticky. It is vacummed but not washed. It needs a carpet wash badly. Our sheer window curtains were "shredded" which is a bit tacky. Our bathroom glass was cracked right in the middle and kept together by clear tape. Be advised that the breakfast selection is very limited. There's no hot food items. The only hot item is waffles. Also note that you can not take breakfast back to your room for your children who are still sleeping and can't get to down for breakfast by 9am. There is absolutely no sign that says you can't take food back to your room... You'll only be stopped by the employee when you try to take it back to your room in front of other guests.

I've stayed at other Hawthorne Suites in the past, first time at this Irving TX location. Was a little hard to find as its behind a strip mall but great location and convenient for accessing Hwy 183. All kitchen appliances worked. Staff very attentive and courteous.

It was great for the location and amenities. Only thing to improve on was key access. At first they only gave us one key and then it wasn’t set for our full 3 days. Each day we had to go to the desk to have it reactivated.

Reserved a room with 2 queen size beds. upon entering room rapidly noticed that beds were not Queen size but full size. Room size was large enough to accommodate 2 king size beds. Place was very quiet. It took almost 10 minutes to check in when usually takes no more than 3.

This was a very good experience at this location. We had a special request for an item we forgot and manager on duty let us borrow what was needed. If back in the area we will certainly return to this Hawthorn Suites.

The room was very large, comfortable, and clean. Not sure what the purpose of the kitchen since there are no pans or utensil to use the kitchen. The microwave did not work in my room. Breakfast was lacking.

Always stop here because it is easy to get around if using pubic transportation. Cold water in the morning is welcome. one dryer did not work. maybe add sweet bread to the continental breakfast..glad they have a tub

Laundry room was very clean, and breakfast had variety and was clean and good. I will stay here every time I am in town. For the price it was well above my expectations. I was a solo female traveler and they put me close to the front desk and made sure that I was awake in the morning for my flight out. I felt extremely safe and satisfied with there service.

The hotel was in process of being renovated but still I was happy. The room was clean, large, comfy. It felt like home. Slight disappointment with breakfast but that's ok. I'm not into cereal, toast, bagels, waffles. Which was pretty much all that was offered. The area was clean and kept up. All staff were friendly and accommodating.

Something was going on with the bed sheets because I woke up in the morning with a ridiculous rash on my hips and my left side. The blankets and the sheets were very uncomfortable, very coarse and scratchy which made for a very sleepless night. Overall the room was quiet and the amenities were average

Great, comfortable and clean stay. We were only in for one night, but sleep was crucial. Hotel is distant from noisy traffic or other sources of noise so it was a perfect place to get away and rest.

HORRIBLE, DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE RATING! It is dark, musty...NO FOOD WHATSOEVER. FULL SIZE BEDS, hard beds. You will get what you pay for. Spend the extra $15/night for a better room, this is in a sketchy side street, extended stay, hallways smell of weed. BEWARE!

What we didn't like was that when requesting a ride to the airport we were told we'd be charged. Considering we didnt have any issues with the establishment and would still end up paying for an Uber we complied. The problem here is that I had other family staying in the same hotel but checked out a day later. When they asked for a ride to the airport they were not charged. This leads me to believe that we were scammed out of money by the person who gave us a ride. Due to this fact i cannot recommend anyone stay here as who knows what other shadiness they do.

I checked in on Friday evening. The room was fairly clean for the most part.

The remote for the bedroom tv didn't work but luckily the one in the living room worked for both tvs, other than that the stay was great. The place was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Location is great. Staff was friendly.

Upon check-in, we requested two room keys and only given one. Opening our hotel room revealed that it had not been cleaned from previous occupant. Once reported to the front desk clerk on duty, we were given a different room, this time with two room keys. Slight inconvenience, but staff did work to make it right. Room was very clean with great room amenities like a full kitchen and dishwasher. Bed was incredibly stiff. Getting to and from hotel can be a bit of a challenge due to traffic from the freeway. Air conditioning unit was stuck at 73 degrees regardless at what temperature I would set it at.

Check in was easy. Hotel was quiet and clean.

Splendid stay. The staff was extremely polite. Rooms were clean and spacious.

My brother and I took a quick trip here with my kids & we loved the room we had. Definitely big enough for more than 2 people. We had a suite with 2 Queen beds & the couch was also a pull out. The staff here was super nice & helped us whenever we had questions. The only thing I will say is, if you are booking here to be able to save money on food and cook , as of right now there are no pots & pans. But there are dishes , a full fridge , sink , & even a table to eat at. There isn’t breakfast at the time either , but they do make coffee every morning, which was pretty good. The location was perfect. You’re literally 10-15 mins from restaurants & shopping. There’s even a Walmart right down the street. It does get pretty busy there , so definitely go early in the morning if what you need isn’t an emergency. With that being said , we enjoyed our stay here & will definitely book here again.

This is my go to every time I’m in town. Amazing customer service , very clean and comfy. Also in a quiet and private area. I highly recommend .

Great hotel. Quiet property. Elevator close to main lobby and rooms. Plenty of hot water and nice shower head. Relaxed stay.

Was very comfortable and quiet..close to everything..got off the bus at Target and walked there..alot of places to eat..I am familiar with the area since I lived for over 10 yrs here..so I still return from time to time to reminisce..
