She then offered to adjust the rate and stated that she applied the discount to both nights. However, after returning home and reviewing my reservation, I discovered that the rate I had originally booked was .... on Saturday night and .... on Sunday—meaning she only adjusted the rate for one night but was straight-up lying to my face that she adjusted it for the two nights. This person at the front desk should not be working the front desk, as she is a horrible human being. I was so shocked when she told me to relocate if I don't want to settle for one king-size bed for a family of 3, and my son is 25 years old. I definitely felt very dismissive and disrespectful. There were kids and teenagers at the pool every night until late 11PM. It was loud and hard to sleep. I called to the front desk on our last night and it took them 45 mins to go and ask the kids the leave the pool. The pool closes at 10PM. If it’s too noisy to sleep, then the entire stay sucks.

Delayed check-in desire arriving after 5 pm! Broken shower, broken bathroom door handle, terrible view of HVAC equipment despite getting the “best” room.

Located just 1/2 mile from the Irvine Spectrum. Its an easy walk. Staff is fantastic!

The hotel was pleasantly done, our room was perfect , and loved that they offered shuttle service to Irvine spectrum for dinner . Roof top bar for drinks was a good night cap . Breakfast by pool with excellent service from Omar at honey and hive , then again at breakfast.

We had an emergency and we wanted to cancel or postponed the reservation and rhey disnt allow ua which caused us to lose reservation.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every regard. The accommodations were pristine, the food and service were great, and the fitness center was well appointed with free weights, cable stations, and cardio equipment. I'll definitely look to return the next time I'm in Orange County.

Overall okay. The room was beautiful but there was a sports bra behind the couch that made it feel like the room wasn't inspected or cleaned very thoroughly. Also there was a mandatory valet parking charge of $55 a night which i found to be excessive. Water bottles were $8 and it costs $35 to stay an hour after 11am checkout. Overall bittersweet to which would have been an enjoyable place to stay.

Great hotel! Complimentary ride to Irvine spectrum minutes away. Great customer service. Very clean hotel. Comfy beds. Amazing shower. I would recommend and definitely stay again! There is so many amenities to list all I can say is I loved it!

The place was nice staff was nice I just didn't like that they have valet and I have a very expensive car that is manual transmission valet was taking turns learning how to drive my manual car for 15 minutes

You pay to not self park your car which would be quicker, so for the benefit of waiting everyday I got to pay an extra $55. One day we actually just walked to our car, got in it and drove away instead of waiting. This would be a good case study for a business school on how to provide the opposite of value for a customers money. The other beauty was a rooftop bar that was advertised as an amenity, but wait, you can't go there on almost all the nights we stayed caused it was rented out for private parties.

Very nice hotel! The lounges and convention area where my husband's Holiday Party was amazing! Our room was comfortable, clean and lovely. Oh, and the rooftop bar was happening!

Beautiful hotel and amenities. Friendly staff. A very thoughtful dessert platter & charcuterie plate was waiting for us, as one of the managers asked ahead of time the reason for our visit. Such a sweet surprise that was truly appreciated! I cannot say enough great things about this hotel.

Its really pretty nice area closer for everything beach, shopping area. The only is the valet parking is kinda pricey.

The hotel was very nice, my son loved it. The pool and corn hole area especially. The valet and check in staff were awesome. Your bar tending staff could use a little help. Not sure if one of them was having a bad day but was almost condescending and seemed really put out to have to help someone.

Sound proofing is very poor and could hear next door neighbor talking and TV noises. I can smell tobacco on a non-smoking floor.

The property was very clean and its still fairly new. I've eaten at the restaurant here and it's pretty good. Overpriced which is typical for hotel food. the check in lobby is right outside the entrance. the room itself was very simply designed but modern. No slippers or robes even though the floor is just hard tile. not even wood. Don't like that they don't offer slippers. No rugs. Very too harshly modern. the view is nothing great. just the 133 highway or buildings. spectrum is close by so that's nice.

I stayed on the 3rd floor, and the view was directly onto a rooftop filled with noisy air conditioning units. The room was not clean. I found fingernails on the floor, which was unacceptable. Basic amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers were only available upon request. When I asked the front desk what else could be requested, the response was dismissive: “We have a lot, what do you need?” This is not the level of hospitality I expect from a hotel. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.

Worth every penny for the excellence this location gives the customer.

Didn’t have my room I reserved

After paying almost $700 per night for the Suite da Hotel could not provide the second pair of slippers or another robe . After several reminders, they sent a dirty rope to me through security guard.. slippers could not be provided till the end of my stay. Calls to the front desk routinely were not answered for 15 to 20 minutes and despite calling several times. The only Restaurant in the property does not provide any rolls with the soup.Only Silver lining …Good Rooftop Bar.

I booked this hotel for New Year's eve solely for the rooftop bar. I wanted a place that i could bring in the new year as well as feel safe as to having a room in minutes of a distance for my safety. I was so disappointed to know once I've arrived the rooftop bar was closed for a private event.

Loved it and enjoyed our stay. I did find a rusty nail in the hot tub which was concerning but when I brought it to the front desk they didn't seem to concerned with someone possibly stepping on a rusty nail like I almost did.

The location was very nice, but the description shows “parking available”. It should say valet parking is the only option at $55 a night. Also they should have bottled water in the guest rooms.

The front desk staff also lacked attentiveness. Despite only needing to charge waters to our room, we waited over 10 minutes while the three staff members helped two couples. There was no apology for the delay. Breakfast downstairs continued the trend of underwhelming food, as I couldn’t even finish my meal. Valet service was frustrating too—they returned keys without notifying us the car was ready, leaving us guessing in the cold. Overall, the hotel didn’t impress, and I won’t be returning. The rooftop bar is its only highlight, but even that failed to deliver on food quality or service. Everything else felt mediocre at best.

Perfect beach trip weekend , just 30 minutes from the beach . We went to a nice dinner the night before at the spectrum , only a 15 min walk . Valet parking was great and easy , will be staying here again

Very nice pool for the kids

Air conditioner went out on us, we did not receive any sleep with the discomfort. When I called in the morning, front desk knew about it. They seemed like it was ok to spend the next day in the same room. When me and my toddler went to swim, beer cans and empty cups, and towels were all over the floor. It seemed like the only concerned they had was there club upstairs.

Having great expectations in Marriott hotels over the last two decades, this is the very first time being very disappointed at the receptionist refused to follow-ups on my inquiries on fine dining restaurants and what is more-no one clean up the room even after hanged up the tag for cleaning service. After reported to the front desk only replied will look into it. Again, no follow ups. When I mentioned it again when checking out, finally someone apologized for the first time. Will not book again although the food tastes good at the lobby lounge.

Price for be valet parking is too much . There ought to be an option for self parking.

If you book through a third party you have zero flexibility with your stay. Zero early departure, in fact, you will have to pay a surcharge for early departure, on top of paying for the entirety of the planned dates.

And I don't like they privilege the bar on the top against customers...

A decent 3 star hotel, very clean, Starbucks in lobby and big rooms. Major complaint was all departments I called never picked up their phone so had to keep calling and calling which is frustrating.

We like this hotel but unfortunately if you are on the top floors there is a bar on the roof that can be noisy until 12:00. We will stay there again but stay on a lower floor.

This hotel was perfect for our stay. The location is perfect, minutes away from Irvine Spectrum. It is very clean and modern. Check in was a breeze, our room was very spacious and clean. Yes there is a $45 valet fee but that did not bother us nor did it affect our stay. You are able to sent a text when you want your vehicle so we didn’t have to wait too long for our vehicle.

Meh…staff very slow to pick up phones when calling the front desk or room services which is annoying. Decent business property though.

I should've stayed somewhere else and saved money. i won't be staying here again.

Easy parking

Everything was very easy, the check-in was quick, and the valet had my car out, ready to go when I was leaving because they allow you to text when you are ready to leave.

The valet asked me twice to move my car after I already got out of my car and gave them the keys. My interpretation of valet was not theirs, I guess. I did complain and they took one of our charges off. That was kind and I am grateful but it doesn’t really change how disappointed I was with our stay. I wanted a vacation and instead it was a business hotel where the staff was limited.

We would definitely stay here again. Walkable distance to Irvine Spectrum. Pool was very big, clean and nice. The room is very spacious and comfortable.

Not greeted nicely when we walked in after a nine hour drive. No glassware in the room. Not informed about Happy Hour upon check-in, when it was, indeed, happy hour. Told no carts so haul your stuff yourself. It was not good!

The hotel was nice enough. Very modern and the rooms were quite nice. A couple of down sides; No self parking is kind of a joke. Forcing people to pay $45 for valet parking when they’re already forking over a higher rate to stay is just a cash grab. Also, there was a large stain on the mattress pad of the bed. We asked for the entire bedding to be replaced but they just remade the bed. Hotel said they couldn’t do anything about it as far as compensation since we booked through a third party. Also, when we got our car back we found someone’s chewed up gum on the windshield. Won’t stay here again.

While the hotel itself is modern and in a great location, many of the so-called “amenities” actually made our stay very frustrating. For example, a $50 daily mandatory fee for valet parking, a terribly inefficient digital elevator system that requires you to wait on line in order to take a specified elevator up to your floor, and a horrible experience at the Honey & Hive upstairs bar. An extremely rude worker literally took our seats out from under us to make room at the bar while other couples were permitted to sit and leisurely finish their drinks. Unbelievable! I religiously stay at Marriotts but will never stay at this particular property again. There are plenty of better options in the Irvine area!
