AC Hotel Irvine

We arrived (great location), checked in. Greeted by valet staff, check in staff. All encounters were pleasant, warm and welcoming. Excellent! Room was clean, and inviting with a great view of the mall across the street. Perfect score for AC Hotel! Check out was also just as perfectly done. We have decided that this will be our ONLY accommodations when in Irvine! Thank you, The Mar Family

The check in experience was wonderful. Very nice and easy to have a conversation. I didn't felt lime a stranger. Room was super clean. No noise.

Great location with good food and grocery options across the street. 405 is 1 minute away and SNA is 5. Rooms are clean and comfortable with good showers and windows that block the sound from the street.

They gym was clean and have the basic stuff you need to work out. The pool is perfect especially the time schedule was great. Staffing is really friendly and informative. I highly recommend this place to stay.

The room was clean modern and just as it was described in the listing. We enjoyed the outdoor pool with some cocktails from the bar, once of which was complimentary since it was my birthday. We will definitely consider stay again if in the area

They get a 1 star because there was no bathroom door. For a room that is over $300/night (with pet fee), to have no bathroom door is beyond ridiculous. When my husband went downstairs to use the lobby bathroom in the morning, there were a line of men doing the same thing. They need to advertise no bathroom doors so anyone that would like privacy chooses another option. The room fixtures were nice, but the room was a bit small.

Came here to stay for Disney staff went above and beyond’s convenient breakfast and open bar made is an easier trip to Disney very clean kid friendly would definitely come again for our next Disney trip.

As soon as we walked in we got allergies, most likely pets had stayed in that room. The bed was uncomfortable couldn’t sleep and when the air conditioning started, it sounded like if a helicopter was flying overhead. Very disappointed that parking was a extra fee. Wouldn’t stay here again.

I've stayed here several times with work. This last visit I was a little frustrated because I was charged for a water when I had not purchased one. When I called to have the charge removed I was told that it would be refunded back to my card but it never was.

Had such an awesome time. They showed me and my family great hospitality!

Omgosh Gina and the wonderful manager on duty on September 6th at arond 5:30pm were the most incredibly kind amazing people!!! We also simply died over Cindy who was the night manager and charged our phones while we slept. She explained eveything and everyone had big smiles. Uum...could we live here, please? lol. We lvoe the AC Hotel brand! Ps We loved the bartender too!

I will say that the air conditioner in my room was very loud when it cycled off and on so that wasn’t great during the night. Other than that it was a great short stay.

Big thanks to Ms. Sherri, one of the housekeeping staff, who left sweet notes for our son next to his gently arranged stuffed animals on the bed each morning. It made him feel so special.

Very close to UC Irvine. Stayed one night to tour the campus. Room was great. Friendly staff. Self parking lot was about half a block away-not an issue for us.

I've stayed here 4 times and it has never disappointed. Great area - lots of dining options across the street and 2 minutes from SNA. One thing to note is that there is a very busy shopping center across the street - which is great for convenience but it also means early morning noise from delivery/garbage trucks etc.

The hotel and staff itself was great! It was our first time traveling with our little dogs and the hotel was perfect for it. We did self parking and the valet staff that validated our tickets were so kind and friendly. Our only thing we didn’t love was the paid parking and the distance from the garage to the hotel….that being said, we knew all of that prior to booking so not really a complaint.

The issue I have with this property is regarding the bathroom fans. The fans are loud and stay on "all the time" - I turned off the AC thinking it was making the noise, but I continued to hear the loud noise. It kept me up all night and I found it hard to sleep. The bathroom door is a sliding glass door which does nothing for sound-proofing that nonstop fan. If you are a light sleeper or need silence to sleep, this is not the place.

David who works during the graveyard shift was very accommodating and helped out a lot. The staff was very friendly and understanding when I wanted to stay a few more nights.

AC Hotel is located in active neighborhood with good restaurants/shops and decent access to airport and other sites. The hotel itself is clean, well maintained and the staff very helpful. Rooms are large and well furnished. Minor shortcomings were soft mattress and lack of drawers for clothes.

I picked this hotel because it was close to the airport and had a Tesla charging station in the parking garage. Overall I enjoyed my stayed but the room floor was a bit dirty as if it hadn’t been vaccumed. Other than that it was nice. Great dining options too.

Ohh really, cancel an order different from what I placed? What a favor! Solid customer service. I only stayed because I didn’t have a choice in that moment. Make sure to verify everything they claim, they will lie through their teeth if you give them the opportunity. Go here if you’re into this kind of service.

Perfect location for us while visiting our daughter. We travel with 2 dogs and property us very dog friendly. Plus the hard surface floors gave me extra confidence in the cleanliness of the room, with no scent for my dogs to pick up. Staff is friendly. Convenient and close parking garage. Reasonably priced.

Everything was great.

Tv didn’t work the first night someone was supposed to come by 8am and didn’t until we made phone call and had to replace the tv with a new one. Key cards barely work in elevators. Was charged all nights for valet when only valet one night and let the front desk know that if I don’t valet after this night will I still be charged and it showed up all nights on the bill.

This is a nice property very clean. Great location. Lots of restaurants right across the street. The only downside to this property is parking which at this time is $28 per night or $40 for valet.

One draw back was the hotel claimed ev charging on property. That is not accurate. There is charging stations but not on property. They are located in the retail parking and only have the slow speed chargers.

A lot lesser hotels include this for no charge to guests. The hotel and room was clean. The room is what I describe as “Modern Generic.” We will not stay again.

Parking is about 100 yards (possibly lol) from the hotel. The reviews I read on here made it seem like it was super far. It’s more like 5 min and there’s sidewalks. Unless you have a physical disability it is not bad at all. We absolutely loved that this was pet friendly. There were A LOT of other pups there!! It’s within a 5 min drive of a few restaurants, LA Fitness, and also a grocery store I believe. The only thing I thought was odd is that to use the lights and AC you have to keep a room card in this slot at the front of the room. I’m guessing it’s to save energy, but we just kept one in there even when we left, because we like it COLD! I’m sure the front desk would give you an extra key. The area seemed pretty safe and new. There’s even a well-lit walking path across the street that leads to bball courts, pickleball courts, ping pong, etc. They may be for the condos nearby or the building right by it, but it’s open to the public. Overall, would def recommend this hotel!

There were teens running through the hallways and thumping furniture around. Jumping and screaming at the pool. It was the opposite of relaxing. I will never go there again. I ended up leaving around 11:30/12am

This was an unexpected, amazing experience. I did not know about this hotel. But now that we have stayed there; we will definitely return. It was one of the best stays I have had in a long time.

The room across from us had a dog that was barking, could hear engines coming and going from below (we were on the 5th floor, had no restaurant, no jacuzzi in the pool area, and the drink and snack station was very limited, etc. Not a great stay.

What I lliked about this property: close to UCI where my son goes to school, close to restaurants and grocery store, staff was friendly, rooms where a good size, bathrooms were nice with big showers and the best part is they allow dogs.

Good hotel in Irvine

Very comfortable, clean, and staff was extraordinarily polite. Def take advantage of the valet-- so worth it. Quiet and peaceful, but very close to the airport and minutes from UC. I hope to be back.

Parking was tedious, need validation for every entry. There was also strobe flashing randomly after turning off all lights, which was very annoying.

Parking is steep and everything with valet even for a visitor not staying overnight is charged! Why is the hotel making profits on PARKING?

Loved it! Had a little staycation weekend and was perfect.

Good hotel and clean. The issue is parking. They have none. Valet is $60 a night and parking at a garage a block away is $25. For that reason alone I will not go there with a car again.

Would highly recommend

There was a blinking red light coming from inside a panel on the wall where the Heating/Air System was. I have pictures and videos. The guy working the front desk said there was no way it was a camera, and then just told me to have a nice day, effectively brushing it off. I am uneasy about this and have contacted the police.

Was check in at 1am. The guy with glasses at front desk helped us. Unprofessional at all. He was rude which maybe we bothered him while he was watching NBA games during our check in. And the mean time while we check in his phone was play the NBA games super loud. Guess he is big fans that’s why he can’t stop.

I didn't appreciate the cheap way in which you need to keep your key card in the wall for the lights to stay on. Nor did I appreciate the tile floors (no carpet) - it was like I was staying in a Spring Break hotel in Florida. And finally (and worst) was the hand held shower with no water pressure. All of these lovely features for the bargain price of $400 / night.
