I cannot say enough about the staff here! Ms. Amanda, Ms. Kitina and Sir Max were beyond outstanding and responsive. Every single request was met with professionalism, kindness and speed. Check-in process was super easy. The in-room suite was really lovely. We loved having a separate living space and kitchen space and bedroom space. Our room overlooked the pool and it was a nice view. While we didn't get to swim, the pool definitely appeared cool and was well enjoyed by other guests! The hallways were clean, the gym and laundry rooms also appeared to be very clean. Our room seemed fresh and clean, minus the small bathroom issue. A little searching for the hair dryer though. I eventually found it in a drawer near the bathroom. I would have definitely preferred a small oven versus a dishwasher under the electric stove. It was also a little bit difficult having to request items like dishes, silverware, coffee pot, etc. I was disappointed that their morning service only included grab-and-go snacks. Apparently, their coffee maker went on the fritz and they were waiting on a new one to come in. While they immediately got me a coffee pot, we still had to go out and purchase coffee and filters. Not a big deal! (To be fair, they did provide Maxwell house filtered coffee pods for the small coffee maker.) We did find a couple of bugs, but that is to be expected down south in the summertime! Particularly right after the exterminator had been there for scheduled maintenance. We also had a few pieces of dog kibble in our bathroom, which was responded to immediately by the staff! The bathroom shower wall did appear to have what looked like, potentially, some dried toothpaste gobs? It looked too thick to be soap or shampoo.

They didn’t have any dishes, utensils, pots or pans in the room to eat or cook on (which is the purpose of having a kitchen) They don’t offer breakfast. We found two roaches in the room. We had to pay $1 just to use the room phone (that was funny lol) The shower was dirty. Should I keep going? ……

I definitely appreciate the affordable cost. However, there needs to be some serious renovations and upgrades to rooms and service. I had to stay for a week and there is no house keeping at all. You have to exchange what you have for fresh towels and linen at the front desk. It says breakfast is included which was the main reason I selected this hotel, so my son could eat before school.! They only have a grab and go and that was very disappointing and inconvenient for us.!

We have stayed here before and had no issues. Clean, convincing, great quality for the price. Our “non-smoking” room had clearly been smoked in. We checked in late so by the time we got to the room and noticed the smell, there was no desk clerk on duty. The smell was overwhelming and we had to wash everything that was in the room when we returned home. The cigarette smell was overwhelming.

The room was very spacious. We were here for 3 days and 2 nights for my daughter’s basic training graduation from Fort Jackson. The staff was amazing especially Ms. Amanda, she was there when we checked in late at night, we drove from Wisconsin, she was the sweetest and very helpful the days we were here. There wasn’t anything I can think of that we had any issues with.

Water was cut-off for four hours and I could not take a shower. Breakfast is not breakfast. It's fruit roll-ups and coffee with grounds floating in it. There's wifi interruptions, there's no business center or printer. It's perfect for a crew of foreign workers as many guests were. Not a place for a business career oriented person. With wifi interuptions, no water for four hours 8am-12pm, no printers etc. it's not suitable for a person whose traveling for business. Great if your a construction company.

The staff was really nice and was very accommodating. We got into the first room. We only booked one room, but that first room smelled of smoke and mildew, and so we came downstairs and brought her the workers the keys and explained to her that it stunk in the room really bad and then she gave us another room and that room had carpet on the floor that had white white substance in it, which we don’t know what it was so we came back out of that room and said that we were not gonna stay here and she was so amazing to be able to give us our money back, but I had to wait 3 to 5 business days it’s not for me. That hotel is not for me or my family traveling. I did not know but it’s for like maybe local people looking for an extended stay it had a kitchenette. It has all the amenities just wasn’t very clean and I don’t want to take that away from the service desk person because she was amazing and I appreciate her being so helpful to us.

Avoid this place. The hallways stink so bad. There was garbage on the window ledge. The rooms were okay, just didn’t feel clean. The lights in the room were the CFL spirally bulbs, and kept flickering, and there was no light at all in the living room space. The elevator was sketchy and bouncy and the doors acted like they weren’t going to open. There’s not front desk staff after 10 pm.

Awful stayed for 1 month never received housekeeping. My pets got fleas while staying at this property when management was told they totally overlooked it and NEVER showed concern. When I checked out they kept half of my deposit and claimed my two small dogs left MASSIVE hair in room which is not true. I asked to do a walk through w/management before I checked out but no one did so and I was told I would get my deposit back and to not worry. This place is total Gary weed smoke in hallways and no one cares but ALWAYS find a new price to charge you.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and worry-free. We did notice a delivery of TVs came while we were there, maybe upgrading? Also, this place is pet friendly, which I like BUT twice I came into contact with a girl in the hall and elevator with a viscious dog. I thought the leash was going to snap it was pulling so hard to get to us. It does seem like people are living in this hotel and there were a lot of shady characters. I didn't feel completely safe. The staff is always absolutely fabulous. It’s a very dated building with obviously old furniture and equipment (bath tub/shower dingy/worn, curtains/lamp shades old/worn, everything just kind of rickety,) but the price point is low enough that we’ve always felt like it compensated. Prior to this stay, with the politeness of the staff and the fact it was clean but dated, we felt it was still worth it. However, this time we were on a floor that the majority of rooms were very obviously lived in full time. So it was a different environment. People’s clothes strewn about in the hallway, there was even something that appeared to be a bloody pillow, people playing loud music and arguing in the middle of the night, kids running up and down the hallway, there were roaches in our room and finally, the wash cloth that was supposed to be clean, had someone’s short, black hairs all over it. Again, the staff were wonderful. However, I don’t think we will be returning after this visit

Staff was lovely and the propery was clean and well-furnished. However, they have changed to a "select" hotel. No coffee or breakfast (and no coffee in room), no ice machines, and only vending machines instead of the pantry most extended stay hotels offer. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. However the ac unit did not work well at all. After night 2 of sweating and being unable to sleep i went to the front desk at 2am aaking to switch rooms. I was told to come back after 7am! I explained i am a travel OR nurse there for assignment and had to be at work at 0630 sp 7am wasnt an option. She stated she didnt know how to switch my room and id have to call the manager. The # on the managers card was the # to the front desk.....i was told the maintenance man looked at the unit and adjusted the intetnal thermometer. It cooled off maybe a couple degrees that day. Finally on my last day i was offered to switch rooms after calling the desk 3 times. Amanda at the front desk was amazing. Room 420 needs to have the ac unit replaced.

This place was awful. The suite was filthy dirty- the floor hadn’t been mopped- maybe ever. My kids’ socks were black after walking around the room for just a few minutes. The door to the bedroom was off of the hinges so it didn’t close. No batteries in any of the remotes. No overhead lights or lamps in the living space so you couldn’t sit there after dark. The knob on the faucet fell off. The entire hotel smelled of weed. The staff person who checked us in was pleasant but she shared that there is no breakfast and that they falsely advertise. Even the hotel TV ad boasts a free breakfast just like home- that’s only if you eat a Nutrigrain bar and instant grits. We tried to get a cart to check out this morning and there were no staff members in sight. Most of the time they just put a sign up on the counter that they were out and the phone was off the hook. No one arrived until 6:30 today for check out and then they couldn’t print a receipt. I shared all of these complaints with the staff person and didn’t even get an “I’m sorry.” Do NOT choose this hotel.

The staff was not accustomed to working with a business traveler. This hotel largely caters to unhoused families. The police were in the lobby on a call when I arrived. They assured me that it was safe to check in. My week's stay was not terrible, but the staff was rather curt with their communications and seemed more accustomed to shutting noisy people down than to being helpful and providing the little courtesies that make business travel more agreeable. When I asked to speak with a manager, I just got the run around. An Expedia rep called and asked for a manager and also got run around. The "grab and go" breakfast was packaged muffins, cheap granola bars, or instant oatmeal and coffee. That was all. No fruit, no bagels, no juice, no water, no anything else. There were lots of families with lots of kids and lots of dogs and lots of noise.

Most hotels in the area are good and have good stuff, but this one is probably the worst. After time consuming check in, we entered the room where found dead ants in the bed. While in the kitchen area, I saw a cockroach scatter from the microwave. The bathroom was cramped. When checking for more possible bugs, can tell the place was not dusted in awhile.

To top it off these was no hot breakfast. The only offerings were stale muffins, cereal bars and Luke warm, weak coffee. So, we had the added expense of another meal. We paid a premium price and all we received was a large, dirty room devoid of necessities. We will not book here again.

I had to make a last-minute change from a HORRIBLE hotel across town. No problem, I logged in to my app and found that there was a vacancy at Extended Stay. When I showed up, the doors were locked to the lobby. No worries, it was late when I switched hotels. I called using the hotel-provided phone outside the lobby door. An employee came out the door with his tablet and started to check me in. Instead of smooth, that transaction was miserable. I was told that my reservation did not come through in their system and that there were no vacancies even if I had booked it through Hotels.com. After 15 minutes of trying to get into my room and double checking the system, I ended up having to book another room at another hotel (The third time's the charm - the Residence Inn was an amazing stay with absolutely no problems, FWIW) When I tried to get my money back they called me a no-show to Hotels.com. I received no refund. I ended up paying for three rooms from three different hotels in Columbia, but only got to use one room. I am sure that this is a good hotel with good staff, but my experience was absolutely rotten, on top of an earlier rotten experience across town.

Staff was very friendly and helpful but properly needs to be updated. Properly is very dark and "smells". I expected at least a coffee maker in an extended stay. There was no coffee maker or dishes, utensils, etc. Properly seems to cater to month to month rentals where people bring their own supplies and "move in" rather than to travelers.

This property is way overpriced and needs a major facelift.....U couldn't get clean towels until they did laundry then u picked them up at the desk with your room number on a garbage bag at the end of the day, also breakfast was ridiculous a granola bar and coffee nothing else and if u were past 9am u didn't get anything!! There were many cracks in the walls, alot of rust in the bathtub drains just very trashy over all!!!!!

The hotel was clean and the service was very good. The breakfast is quite limited but what was there was good. The front door, pool, and a couple of doors did not work. The area had so many places for us to go to that we had a great time. The pool was fixed on our last day. We really enjoyed playing there. It was clean and a good size. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.

The bad: the pet fees are exorbitant. $25 per dog per night but the hotel doesn't really provide any value for that charge - the pet waste station is instead used as a trash area and isn't restocked with waste bags, and the ground is littered with cigarette butts and liquor bottles. So many services are "out of order" - vending machines, washing machines, elevators. The ugly: no security. Besides the elevators and vending machines and laundry services being out of order, the exterior entrances "require" your room key to enter but they're all broken. Anyone can just walk in any entrance and nothing will stop them. Also, people *live* here and it's pretty gross. Overall, you get what you pay for...unless you have pets.

This place is ok... The rooms are nice a spacious but definatly bare minimum as far ammenities (bar of soap & shampoo). Had a nice lanolium floor but when I wiped up some water my dog spilled I realized how dirty it was. Not hard to mop a floor inbetween guest. "Grab and go" breakfast is a joke and coffee was so weak. Bed was descent and clean. Furntiure needs undating lots of dings and chips. Hallway was so stinky not sure if someone was cooking or garbage.

We walk in and are waiting behind two other couples that were already waiting excruciatingly long including a couple that did not even have a reservation. Once I finally made it to the desk it was chaos since the person I talked to earlier had not shared any of the changes she had made with the evening agent so the original room ( the one not available remember ?) was the only one showing up. Nothing showing up for the two rooms I was now supposed to have. I will be blunt with another issue … There was me at the desk and another older white lady,…. By this time it is already almost 6pm! No extra help called for. Two other black couples walked and immediately help was called for and she even tried to bypass helping the white lady who was next. Reverse racism at its best.

All the staff we came across was very helpful and friendly. It was very appreciated to have people who were kind and generous with their time. The facility needs a little update (the bathrooms and toilets specifically), but they keep it clean so that helps. I wish the breakfast included something other than granola bars and muffins, and maybe had options for bagels and fresh fruit. Although, given all the covid restrictions, I feel like your hands might be tied a little in that area. Lastly, and this is a personal preference more than anything, move the cigarette catcher away from the doors-specifically the side entrances. Its a little off-putting to walk up to the door to the hotel and smell nothing but stale cigarettes.

The hotel website states there is breakfast, but coffee, oatmeal, granola bars & muffins is not breakfast. There were bugs in my room & when i told staff the answer was "you're not going to find a place that doesn't have them". Not enough towels in the room & when asked for more, we couldnt have them. Theres bo ice machine but the front desk has small bags of them but those are rationed also. Wont stay here again ever & i should get my money back.
