Economy Inn LAX

Parking is very limited. The room was very basic. The hair dryer in the room was broken. The bathroom shower curtain was the wrong type and did not stay closed to keep water from getting on the floor. No coffee or anything provided. I don’t think it was worth the $500 I paid that’s for sure.

My criteria are that the property needs to be clean, quiet, safe and near the ballfield (in this case UCLA and the airport, LAX). This property was perfect for my needs. There is no pool, no free breakfast and no cocktail lounge. There is safe, free parking for my rental car, a clean room, comfortable bed and plenty of hot water to shower. My room was a double queen with a couch, plenty of space to spread out, a tub/shower (though I don't know if anyone ever uses a tub in a hotel) a refrigerator and TV that I did not use. The property is 10 minutes from LAX and 15 minutes (depending on traffic) to Jackie Robinson Stadium at UCLA and just up the street from world famous Randy's Doughnuts. Long review cut short, it was perfect for my needs and I would stay there again.

Room was large and mostly clean (aside from a few long black hairs lying around), check in staff weren’t very friendly. The parking was easy and my stay was pleasant enough, however I found the decor of the room to give a bit of a creepy vibe. For a cheap hotel it does the job.

The jetts in the hot tub didn't work felt like it was a waist of money. When cleaning the room on there check list they should make sure everything works before passing room for a vacant ready

I had only one problem with the room. IT WAS FULL OF COCKROACHES! I could not sleep in the room because of that and spent the whole night awake. I was sitting in a corner of the room trying to avoid any contact with a cockroach. Everything was good but this cockroach thing was a dealbreaker for me. The motel should make sure it does not perdure.

Very rude. Didn’t want to give deposit back. Would not give us our room key to check in. Left $300 glasses and I asked if I could go back in after I left them and when I went in and the cleaning lady just left and my glasses were no where to be found.

This motel is a great place to stay! Conveniently located near LAX and metro bus stop, several places to eat within walking distance, friendly and helpful staff, spacious room with a very comfortable bed, and good wifi service.

I’ll be honest—I was a little skeptical about staying at Economy Inn LAX because of the location on Manchester Blvd in Inglewood, but it ended up being a great surprise. The room was spacious, very clean, and looked recently updated, which made the stay feel comfortable and worth it. The staff was also super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a big difference. Overall, I had a really positive experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

An inexpensive motel, but very clean, with updated rooms. The location is very close to LAX and LAX car rental, and was very convenient. The place itself is basic, with little in the way of amenities. I stayed here twice, though, as it was convenient and inexpensive, and clean. Those who like coffee in the morning, there is none in your room.

Nice location, loved the free parking. Room was fine, no complaints, bed comfy. Was actually pretty quiet too surprisingly. Didn't use the pool but it's a nice bonus. Free breakfast is very basic like everyone else has said. I knew that from reviews but was still surprised there wasn't even bananas or apples just tangerines, and not even a toaster for bagels or toast. They could definitely do a better job of providing more options! I would stay here again tho.

I liked that it was clean inside but did smell strong of Lysol or something. We had to keep the door open for a while because we couldn’t open the window. The pillows were so flat.

However I booked the room with the jetted tub. Unfortunately upon arrival it was dirty, as well as the sinks. Housekeeping came everyday I stayed but that is my only complaint

I love this motel. They are really nice people who run a clean property. Its located close to the 405 freeway, and is in walking distance to fast food, 7-11, and restaurants. I have stayed here many times and Im yet to have any issues.

the room was okay at best good to stay for just a night. the area around isn’t definitely the best and the room itself smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room but it got the job done! also the pictures look so much more modern than the actual room itself.

The location was fairly close to SoFi stadium where we were attending a show. We noticed a lot of other people attending the same event as us. Close to Randy's Donuts, which was a fun tourist thing to see. Check-in and check-out were really easy, and the room had what we expected and clean. There was enough parking, but it was a little tight, I think it would be difficult with larger vehicles.

It is cheap. It is in crap neighborhood. The room was large but decorated in the 40s and VERY sparse. It is over priced for what it is.

I was pleasantly surprised that the room was on par with the photos online. Check-in/out was hassle free, although the staff weren't rude, they weren't exactly welcoming either. No biggie, though; I want there to make friends. Only "ick" about the room was the strong chemical cleaner smell. I had to air the room out for about a half an hour.

Great service but we had a non smoking room and could smell weed in our room after we arrived back from our event. We used it just to sleep so it worked well for us other than that.

Since we came from San Diego, it was nice to have a cozy room nearby, so we didn't have to drive after the party! Neighborhood looks a bit rough! Lot's of colorful Street folk! We were treated kindly and didn't ever feel threatened, even walking home late.

I was disappointed that our request for a ground level unit was not available because they said they did not receive my message sent through Hotels.com. There were no cups or glasses in the unit. No coffee maker. Disappointing for a motel that cost us $150 a night.

I really like that there is parking included with my stay and plenty of it. The room smelled super clean and was a mini fridge and microwave in the unit. They have stores, restaurants, and the airport close by. The surrounding area looks a little ghetto but it wasn’t a problem for me. I walked to the restaurant across the street at night and I was ok.

My stay is always nice when I come. Nothing bad to say about the staff it was the tenants that were staying there. They do not know how to park so they were taking up 2 parking spaces and the people in the toom next to me had a huge argument that kept me up. But other than that i love staying here

You get what you paid for. It’s the cheapest hotel I found for a single night. The service was okay despite having to wait in the lobby 30 mins after 3pm because no one was there to help me.

It was good until the second night when the girl next store decided to stand outside at 1in the morning talking on face time talking loud. Really rude

This was low cost, so didn’t expect too much and cleanliness was ok but rooms were very tired. Biggest issue was other guests, the layout means anyone being noisy affects all rooms I had loud drunk youths and family arguments. Would not go back..

Both sinks drained very slowly, pillow smelled bad, bed very hard and uncomfortable. Not a place I wanted to take my wife. $130 a night for something that should be ~$65. Will not return.

I had to kill a cockroach 5 minutes after entering the room. Then I spent 1/2 hour chasing down a fly. After all that, I had the willies and couldn’t fall asleep. In the morning, I had two mosquito bites on my feet. I saw that little intruder while at the mirror, but since we were leaving, didn’t bother with him.

I stayed one night at this property and was pleasantly surprised by the size of my room. It was clean and smoke free. I didn’t get to make use of the iron, microwave, or fridge, but was impressed that the room had all of those options at this price point. The shower had great water pressure and I was very grateful for the presence of a blow dryer, as I forgot mine. I easily found a parking space in the small lot, despite it being a Friday night and just before midnight when I checked in. Great choices to eat were nearby, as Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles and Randy’s Donuts were both down the street. I would stay here again.

Front desk was really nice. But there was on going people coming and going during the evening plus playing loud music and smoking cigarettes in their cars downstairs. On top of that we had a no smoking room and when we went in it smelled like cigarettes. The bathroom was really rusty from and towels were not cleaned properly as the bed sheets and pillow cases.

Checkin and check out was very easy! The staff were very helpful with stuff in the room. Very walkable to the sofi stadium or forum if u don’t want to pay for parking near the venue. Definitely coming back in the near future.

Be aware this is a SMOKING hotel. The sheets, the towels, the carpets, the walls, everything smells like an ashtray. I wouldn’t have stayed here if I had known.

The place smells of roses all along the corridors. The room was sparkling clean. The shower hot and the bed dream worthy. Here is the plus one. I misplaced my debit card. They found it and returned it to me. So to sum up. Good price. Great room and stellar owners.

Bright, white, fluorescent room lights; no 'soft' lamp lighting. Approx. only 7 local broadcast tv stations, not including ch 7 ('a Disney channel'). Would stay again ONLY as a last resort.

It just smells incredibly gross. Don’t understand how it smells like so much cleaner while smelling and looking so nasty and outdated. Not really worth the price but is probably that high due to being near the Kia Forum and Sofi Stadium.

The king suite was disappointing to say the least. Booked the room for the hot tub feature. Jets did not work, water barely came out hot. I said something the next morning as this was 3 AM when it was discovered. Front desk worker immediately got defensive and said I should have called in. I’m sorry but I’m not going to call at 3 am when I’m already undressed trying to use it. Couch was busted up and gross, can only imagine what was done on that. Not enough parking for all the rooms they have. It did it’s purpose for our nights stay but I don’t feel like that was worth $200 and the main reason I booked it was for the tub.

For on average of $120 a night you can stay in this double decker Bates motel in the Heart of Inglewood. If you’re flying in. Just make sure it’s after 3pm; or else you’re gonna be lugging your suitcases around Inglewood as there is no early check in. THIS IS NOT AN AIRPORT MOTEL DESPITE “LAX” IN ITS NAME. A lot of Urban Outdoorsmen live in the area, I don’t recommend going for walks, even in the single family home neighborhood to the north of the property. Stay near Century Blvd and spend the extra cash.

Stayed only one night. Good place if you need somewhere just to sleep.

The hotel was very clean and nice. It was affordable and comfortable and served the purpose I needed it to. The staff and front office were super friendly and I would absolutely stay here again!

This is my 4th time staying here and i love it. I feel safe here. The onky down part everytime i want to book the jacuzzi room its always sold out and i look months in advance.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this hotel was very simple. Very minimal. Dont expect more than what you need, ex: one towel for your hands and one towel to dry off. Tv didn't work at all in the room. There was no way to turn it on at all. There is a microwave and a mini fridge. Although you could hear when someone walked by your door. It was very loud. The beds were minimal. Good luck finding a parking spot if you get in very late. You get what you pay for, I suppose.

Room was clean and well kept. Parking was a little crowded on the weekends.
