Cloud 9 Inn LAX

The room was very clean and smelled clean. We've never stayed here before, but the rooms look recently remodeled and the outside looks freshly painted. The owner checked us in and he was a very nice man, made us feel welcome. The parking lot looks a bit small, but we didn't have an issue for our stay on a Saturday night for the Rush concert. I don't know what it was like the day before with the World Cup game, but the owner said it was a crazy house, lol. My wife said she felt safer at this property than at the BW right across the street, which we stayed at a few years back.

Only complaint, the staff wouldnt let my friends that came in the next day, get into the room even though his name was on the check in. Had to run back from SoFi even though i told them he was coming and it was written down. Just kept saying "no guests", until i convinced him to pull out the slip and check.

Despite the area that this motel was located, it was nice. Los Angeles and Inglewood is a literal sh!thole. However, the room was clean. The room had a micro and small refrigerator. The floor was a little sticky, so bring flip flops to wear. I would stay there again.

Room was clean with an ok level of noise considering how busy the street is and proximity to the airport. There isn’t a coffee maker or any Kleenex but the place is close enough to walk to the Kia Forum so quite convenient. Niles bar is along the route to Kia - a good place to stop for happy hour.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite a nice size and, even though near a big arterial route, very quiet. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable (right matress feel, right thickness of comforter, perfect pillow, and for once (!) I had no trouble with feeling warm. TV had an amazing choice of fun channels. Toiletries are available; there is also a big fridge and a microwave. There seems to be ample parking. A bus line is right next door connecting with all kinds of venues (e.g. Kia). There are mini-marts around for creature comforts. You get a real neighborhood feeling if you breakfast at the nearby burger restaurant (which offers lots more than burgers). The place is super-close to Kia Forum. Don't expect fancy at that price, but you can always discuss and solve things with the friendly manager. We might come back :)

Everything about the place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The only thing for future guests to consider is that the motel is situated directly on a main road and is very close to the airport so that you may hear some vehicle noise early in the morning. However, this is just a heads-up regarding the location—it is absolutely no fault of the business itself, and everything they provided was top-notch. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for great quality and value in LA! Everything was fine

My husband and I stay at the Cloud 9 Inn LAX for 2 nights. The stay was pleasant. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The Front Desk Reception was very attentive and willing to help. Also there is an elevator, which is so convenient because it's difficult for me to use the stairs.

The staff is incredibly rude, racist, and lacks critical thinking and comprehension. He basically gave my reservation to someone else and left me stranded, and when I got upset called the police and told them a black man is threatening him. When I booked online, I had the option to pay for half and the rest during check in. So when I show up I plan to pay the rest right? He states that it was declined, showing me a receipt that literally says approved for half of the full amount. He takes that as it being declined, which is hysterical because it literally said the word “approved for” and i explain to him like “yes sir and I have to pay the rest now” and that it’s an option to do so when booking. Clearly he didn’t understand and told me “well it’s too late there’s no rooms”. I don’t know his name but the old gentleman needs to be replaced. ASAP. He is very offensive and doesn’t even know how to run the hotel. He needs to be receptive on how rooms are booked nowadays. May need to retire.

My stay was great! I was a late check in (midnight) and the staff was attentive and very friendly! I had no issues with the room or parking, and the room service was great. Location to LAX is extremely convenient. Free parking is unheard of an most any other hotel, so this was a huge plus! My stay was quiet, my room was clean and everything functioned great. Checkout was easy and staff was great then too. Well done, Cloud 9. I look forward to my next stay! I wish I would have found out about this place sooner.

Exactly what I was expecting for a short night next to the LAX airport. I appreciate the hotel's convenient proximity to the airport. The amenities are acceptable, though one should be aware of some street noise from the nearby street. However, this didn't significantly disturb my sleep. I would stay here again if I needed a place to sleep next to the airport

i honestly loved this place where we stayed at ! we stayed for 4 days and the cleaning staff was always on top of their stuff ! Parking was good and didn’t have any issues with anything really.

The rooms have been cleaned and maintained well. Ofcourse they need an extra latch to prevent door from being opened by someone else. I felt little bit afraid. There were only few guests staying there. So the parking area was empty. Overall for the money paid, it was a decent stay.

Was not disturbed, there was hot water, the room was clean. We were afforded an excellent view of the flight path into LAX for heavy jets (specifically rooms 310 and 311), which was absolutely sublime to watch. Despite this, the room was quiet, and the engine noise was not a nuisance. If I am flying out of LA again, I will be rebooking here and specifically requesting either of those two rooms. Staff were clear and concise, respectful. No serious concerns. Thank you.

The room was big and clean. Plenty of space to share with a group. Easy parking and close elevators. Plenty of nearby restaurants and super close to Sofi and Kia Forum. Amenities were plentiful and staff was quick and kind when we needed anything.

Walkable to coffee/juice. Area felt safe enough. Parking was easy and safe. The owner (?) was VERY kind and hospitable. What a great place. This is our new hotel before LAX flights!

The rooms were very roomy and clean! Beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. The man who was at the front desk was funny and nice! The parking situation. Thankfully we didn’t have to move our cars while there, but we did notice after coming back late in the evening that there was no parking. The parking lot looked kind of tight and I’m so glad we didn’t have to experience maneuvering out of it with all spots filled.

The hotel wasn’t bad it’s clean, but it lacks things that could make you stay better like a coffee maker, proper soap and shampoo. There’s no body to call when you need help. It’s a motel. It’s inexpensive. It’s worth what you paid for it.

However, after I rated my checkin as "okay", the owner-operator grew infuriated. He was contending "I'm trying to help you". Unfortunately, intent does not always translate to impact. If you don't have blackout curtains, and don't understand what they are, then it is perfectly valid for me to rate a property based on that. If you have inadequate noise insulation, it is perfectly valid for me to rate a property based on that. I could not sleep well despite the use of both a sleeping mask and earplugs. He did accommodate the fact that my car broke down during its time on the property. That was his only redeeming action. At the end of the day though, if he wants a better review he needs to apologize for and change his attitude. Additionally, the WiFi is virtually unusable and I had to use data for internet..

After a Flight delay. We were greeted by a friendly host in the middle of the night no issues checking in as he had everything ready for us. Room was clean and everything worked. Housekeeping offered more towels or anything else we might need the next day. Place is very close to the airport, SoFi and other arenas and right next to the freeway if looking to travel a little further. We found plenty of great food and entertainment within minutes of the location. Would definitely repeat and recommend for a clean friendly budget stay.

Brand new upgrade with very comfortable king bed, large flat screen tv, clean and comfortable. I didn’t read the amenities and didn’t realize they didn’t have coffee.

The guy that is in the office is very nice & funny. It is a short distance to everything you need get to. Starbucks is a walking distance, there are a lot of places to get something to eat that are near by. Sofi & Kia stadiums are about close to 2 miles from the hotel. The freeway is also not far from the hotel. You can hear the traffic passing by & when people are walking, but I can say it’s normal especially when facing a busy street.

Location is right off the fwy , 5 minutes from the Sofi Stadium, room was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. It had all the necessities to accommodate my stay. This will be my hotel stay when I have a concert at the Sofi .

Customer service was cold and I felt like a child being given instructions and what to do - let's say it wasnt a Disney experience! Very loud location by a busy road and unfortunately a loud domestic at 4am didn't have my family feeling safe. Positive was the ability to extend checkout by paying $15 per hour which we took advantage of as we had a 7pm flight back to Australia. Based on my experience I wouldn't stay there again, nor recommend it.

The front office staff was very attentive and made check in process quick.

The bed was comfortable, and the TV was plenty big. But the check in process was a little weird, still using hand written forms, and the shampoos and soaps were literally in the equivalent of condiments squeeze packets. And no additional door security beyond a deadlock is a little concerning when literally anyone can walk off the street to your door. But, this is a motel, not a hotel, so expect to get what you pay for.

Great spot for the price when you’re only looking for the bare necessity of having a calm and clean place to rest at overnight. Staff are accommodating and responsive. Recent renovations are a nice touch. Only real complaints are walls are thin where you can hear outdoor renovations (thankfully only during the day), traffic, and sometimes hear other people in neighboring rooms.

Expedia sucks! I booked a double bed room with expedia. There wasnt one available. The guy behind the desk was cool. Gave us a single bed room. Room is nice! Went to SoFi for a NFL game. Its pretty close and can't beat the price. Its not fancy but its clean. No complaints.

Der Herr beim Check in war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind relativ frisch renoviert, nur der Boden war ein wenig schmutzig (barfuß laufen war nicht gut), aber ansonsten war alles sauber und das Bett gemütlich.

Really amazing!

No frills but close to the Kia Forum, YouTube theatre and the SoFi. You get to park on the property for free and if you're a good walker, you'll make it to the game or the show without having to pay like 40 bucks to park at the stadium or venue and you'll have a place to pregame. Maybe not a place to take someone to try to impress them but thank god im past that so id probably stay again

Everything was great, parking was easy to get, and it was free which isn't always the case with hotels in the area. The room itself was fairly clean, the AC worked great. We used this hotel to stay in for a concert we attended at the KIA forum and it was an easy walk to and from the forum. The guy in the office checking you in is GREAT, he was super sweet and really nice, definetly would stay here again.

It was a greart place to stay but i didn't feel safe leaving after dark. But we did find a great place to eat in walking distance.

The room itself isn’t terrible, but outside??? There was a mariachi band DIRECTLY across the street that played EXTREMELY loud until after 2am!!! I asked the guy at the counter when I checked in around 10pm if they would be going much longer. He assured me they were almost done and the police would enforce it. Yeah right!! We had to turn the tv up in our room as loud as we could just to drown them out. The room was decent but I will never stay here again unfortunately.

Price was very affordable for a last minute hotel for 4th of July weekend. Hotel felt very safe and secure for the area. Check in was easy and they were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very modern. Large fridge for your food and a microwave. TV had a good amount of channels including premium ones like hbo. I would definitely stay here again.

I will for sure use this place anytime I'm around this area 100 percent. Just for a small fee of 15$ per hour you can stay pass your check-out I stayed 3 hours after well worth it for those that like to sleep a little extra and no rushing on getting ready...

Top notch hotel for the price. I always stay here before an early flight out of LAX. Rooms are clean and staff are great. Traffic noise is loud in rooms so bring earplugs, other than that it's perfect for a night.

The room was very clean and perfect for my 4D3N stay with my partner. The room was also very spacious and had a lot of room for 2 people. It was very convenient to have the little table with two chairs as well. Air conditioning was great! Can get very cold, which I loved. Parking was great. The lot is a bit tight, but there's a spot for everyone.
