The room was nice to stay in. I like the design it had and the person at the front desk was kind. I really had no issues staying here besides the tight parking lot, but there isn't much that can be done about it.

I liked how it was walking distance from the intuit dome. It's also close to many stores and food places , you don't need to drive much. It's all walking distance. We even went to universal and it was a short drive. I think the property is under new management and they remodeling the rooms, they're really nice. I loved the look of the tile, and how it came together. The only thing is the shower water pressure wasn't the best but we worked with what we had. Also, if you're on the bottom rooms, you will hear the walking upstairs. So if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. There's not much you can do about that because it's an old building so bring earplugs and you're fine.

The restroom door. I was charged 7 dollars to my account, without reason. It was a fine salty substance in the air. The substance got in my water and on my food. It was as though the 4 rooms with plastic on the windows, were being used as a pill factory.

Comfortable beds, Friendly Folks running the place, actual water pressure in the showers!! And ultra clean! Close walking distance to everything you could need and walking distance to the Intuit Dome and Cosm! Location is a bit rough, meaning it's on a very busy road so can be a little loud if you're a light sleeper. And being on a busy road getting in and out of the parking lot can feel a bit like playing Frogger, but who doesn't like a good game of Frogger!? ;)

The staff was extremly friendly and helpful. The location was conviant, edspecally for the concert we were attending. The room was clean and comfortable, overall it honestly exceeded our expectations esspecally for the cost. It was a good stay.

It’s not in a great part of town but they keep it conspicuously clean and tidy. Rooms are totally updated and comfortable. Basics like coffee and shampoo provided. Easy 10 minute drive to LAX. It was hard to find - drove past it the first time. Seems a little sketchy but it was a nice little respite in a not great area.

Not a single thing Everything it was dirty it smelled the parking lot had piles of garbage room had disgusting stains on bed cover floors were dirty even the lamp shade wa dirty the phone had a dead bug in the craddle. How this place had an 8.7 on here is beyond insanity. We didnt even stay they wanted to upgrade but even that wasnt acceptable

Comfortable bed and roomy bed. The walk-in shower. Good desk and lots of shelving. The microwave and fridge were useful. Lack of coffee maker/electric kettle. No real cups to heat water in the microwave. No tea bags. About $50 from the airport and $35 to the airport by Uber.

Cleanliness Need more trash cans but other than that as long as place is clean and fresh. NO smoking smells and no homeless or druggy hanging around this place is Wonderful.

The hotel was closed for renovations so it took almost 2 hours to get replacement rooms at another hotel nearby.

I liked the staff they were very nice, but the room was not up to par heater did not work prpperly and made an odd noise, shower stayed cold, was a terrible stay.

Weird check in window. Had to stand outside. They gave me a remote to the TV and I had to turn it in at checkout. Immediately saw bugs when I walked in. Old, gross and not worth the money. Idk how this isnt just a run down motel for interesting encounters. Never will stay here again.

It was somewhat clean just nothing worked. Tv didnt work, no iron , no blow dryer.

There were bugs all over. there was mold in the shower. the light switches were dang near broken. the bed was broken at the top side where you would put your head. Everything was "repaired" with the landlord special. For your sake, if youre thinking of more than night pick literally anywhere else. Sleeping in your car under an overpass would have been better. Staff wasnt all that bad.

First room was dirty. AC didn’t work. They moved it to another room. The TV was broken. Furniture was broken room was dirty.

This was your average 2 star hotel. Our 2 room suite appeared to be recently remodeled and was clean. No in room coffee/tea which should be available regardless of the 2 star rating. The website stated free complimentary continental breakfast but there was none offered. The ice machine was coin op and I refuse to pay for ice at a motel so not sure if it even worked. Looked run down. Soda vending machine next to ice machine dispenses warm soda but at least you have a mini fridge in the room.

It was terrible. The bed was terrible and very uncomfortable smell and curtains were torn very outdated.

I got to the property 1hr before check-in time which is 3:00pm and even though my room was READY, I was being charged 30.00 for early check in. After talking to the owners son he said they could not wave that fee since it was booked online ( bunch of BS) Here’s the kicker, he was willing to negotiate the fee for 20.00 bucks. Talk about nickel and dimming me. There is no restroom in the lobby and I had to go the restroom REALY bad so I ended up paying the extra 20 bucks. I so hate when people try to take advantage of me especially something so minor. What a bunch of India pricks. Also, the property looks like it’s occupied by a bunch of crack heads. Stay clear away!!!

I was placed in room 109. I saw three adult cockroaches, asked front desk if I could switch rooms. They didn’t argue with me, but ended up giving me the room right next door, 110. This room was infested with baby cockroaches. They were EVERYWHERE. I left after that and slept at the airport. I’m also pretty sure I got bed bugs from this place. Don’t stay here. Ever

Very poor property. Not like the pictures. Rundown. Rock hard beds. Asked for an extra pillow, they refused. Exposed light switches. Floor board's cracked and broken. I have pictures of everything. Had to pay for ice. Never have had that in my life. Not even a one star property.

That “hotel” was probably the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my entire existence!!! The floor was cracked and I could pull it off the floor! There was no soap whatsoever in the bathroom or the shower and no towels! I’ll never stay there ever again!

I actually enjoyed my stay at the property. The two men at the front desk were kind towards me and answered my questions. The room was nice, just the smell of cigarettes if you don’t mind that. A.C REALLY works, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well and plumbing works :) surprisingly my Nextdoor and downstairs neighbors weren’t loud or the area. I slept comfortably and safe in my room.

A lovely big comfortable room, very clean, extremely comfortable bed, fridge, microwave desk & table and 2 chairs. No breakfast - although thought it had? Needs bigger bath towels.

Don’t stay here. First, customers service is terrible. They are constantly watching you, there is no privacy. Second, room is dirty. Carpet is so dirty the color of the carpet is completely gone. Your feet will be black walking on it barefoot. It also infested with roaches. If Expedia allows me to upload photos I’ll share it. Third, room had mold. Who do I report this too? I know for sure if I told staff about it, they will probably say something along the lines of “I’m blind”. I only stayed here cos we went to a concert and we had a big party that stayed close by but that hotel was sold out and we wanted to stay close to them. We walked back from the concert to our room so they can Uber from there back to their hotel (Cos that area is sketch) and I got a call immediately when we got back. Guy at the front desk yelling at me “get out get out get out get out” I asked for a refund and basically got a “your s**** out of luck”. I’m not racist cos too I am a minority but this “foo” needs someone to show him wassup. Not saying what race they are, but here is a clue, they own all the 7’11.

The bed was comfortable, the room had a fridge and microwave, there are many channels available on the tv, and the air conditioner worked fine. WiFi is also available. The motel is close to public transportation (Prairie Ave. is a metro bus route) and the metro train station is about a 15-minute walk. The sidewalks on many of the neighborhood streets had lots of litter and I saw several homeless people and sketchy people in the area (not directly near the motel but on the streets in the area). They didn't seem to bother anyone, but I don't recommend walking around at night. The daytime was fine.

The rooms were spacious, but the bed had a big dip or sag in the middle and the bathroom window did not close completely which allowed bugs to come into the room. They also did not have an iron in the room and I was told by the front desk clerk that someone else had it. The iron never became available.

No coffee

The room's floors were dirty when we arrived. We felt grossed out if our feet touched the floors. One of the floor boards was broken. The staff was average, we told them about the room floors and they had them mopped. Both property and area was extremely run down and did not feel safe at all.

I had a fantastic 7 night summer stay here! Housekeeping was totally professional and timely. The rooms are what you would expect from a low-cost motel and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The only downside is the area--I didn't realize how unsafe Inglewood can be. Constant loud fireworks (potential gunshots) and unsafe streets at night - be careful if you choose to stay in this area. American Inn however, was highly professional and a great place to stay and offered a rate that couldn't be beat anywhere else.

* Don't like the extra fee for checking in early specially if you are a repeat customer. The rooms need a little more maintenance example: damaged floors, yellow stains around the shower handles/faucets, needs paint touch up in some areas and retighten shower heads. The Fascia needs paint and sign outside needs to be cleaned and have the graffiti removed. Online this hotel is rated a 2 but it could easily be rated a 3 or 4 with just a little more attention to little details like these. Personally, I like this place and I will be back. This hotel would not give me wake up call before check out the next day.

Didnt look safe because the door was missing its deadbolt lock. Seems as if it was broken off. Room had a smell to it like its not sanitized or really cleaned to its depth. Mattress was soft, bedding was clean, the cover did have multiple burn holes. AC looked completely busted and you could not tell what you were turn the AC to. Other than that it was alright. No bugs, quiet for the most part especially for a Saturday.

I would definitely be back here, I just had a bit problem with the lockbox but the room is very nice and clean.

Upon arriving I was asked for a $50 cash deposit in order to have the reserved non smoking room. No where was this mentioned on the site. If this is the policy the property needs to notify guests BEFORE they arrive. I was in a huge hurry upon check in to make it to a show that night. I was told I could go get the cash or be put in a smoking room. As a nonsmoker that is DISGUSTING. I argued with the lady for several minutes and told her she could just keep my credit card… thankfully she finally believed me that we weren't going to smoke in her room. Ironically when getting into bed that night and pulling back the sheet (no real a blanket :/) there were bright visible traces of marijuana residue/crumbs on the sheet.

No frills but very clean

Thye dont tell you until check in that you cant have any visitors whatsoever or you dont get uour $100 security deposit back!!! Spent thousands to fly out and visit family for them to not even be allowed on our hotel room to even use the bathroom after long trips around the city!!!

The people at the counter were not particularly nice or hospitable. We had to interact through a hole in the safety window. The ice machine didn’t work, I think the vending machine had New Coke in it, that’s how old it was. We got a room with two beds, but the bathroom was through the other bedroom so I had to walk into my friend’s room to go to the bathroom. The beds were hard, the windows were thin and there was a lot of traffic noise. It’s the little touches though, like the diagrams on the wall from when they remodeled and we’re going to install the toilet paper dispenser in one place but then changed their mind. This is not the worst motel I’ve ever stayed at, but they’re certainly going for the gold.

I grow up around this place. You think with Inglewood up and coming that they would invest in their property. Their beds are the worst. It was roaches and it was the disturbance and one of the rooms going on for over hour they were so loud me and my company just got up and left and checked out it wasn't even worth staying didn't get no rest. I've been to this place many times throughout the years but I think this might be my last time ever going back there I'm just not a clean and comfortable place. And I'm sure with the activities going on in Inglewood when the prices go up their prices are going to go up just not worth it. Like I said it was so much disturbance couldn't sleep just got up and left

We stayed at this place due to its proximity to the stadium nearby. The staff and cleaning crew were pleasant, everything else was terrible. I was not familiar with the area, but still booked based on the 7.5 star rating. I do not understand how they got this rating. The staircase going to the 2nd floor had a strong smell of urine and cigarette. The room was spacious but smelly. The only dining chair was a broken office chair with old stains on it. The day we arrived we witnessed a family fighting and screaming with their room door open. A staff member intervened to make them stop. At night, when we came back from picking up someone from a concert at the nearby stadium, a US Marshall raid was taking place. There were multiple unmarked vehicles with officers carrying big guns. They arrested the people close to our room, so we had to wait for a while in the parking lot for the raid to end. Needless to say we got out of there as soon as we were able to in the morning. This should be a $20/night place, so don't be fooled by how close it is to the stadium and the fake star rating.

Room was clean except for rust under the bar in the tub/shower. Linoleum was damaged in a couple of places. Cracked bathroom tiles, broken hair dryer switch was broken. Lock got stuck a couple of times when I was trying to leave

The was the banging of something that sounded like a dumpster being closed 24/7. Nearest coffee was 4 blocks away in a very unsafe area. No soundproofing in room. Could hear neighbors on both sides as well as above me. I had to get another room in a safer area after one night.

Building, bed and other furniture are too old. I couldn’t sleep at all due to the cigarette smoke that wouldn’t go away even after I turned on the antique AC. I went back to the isolated and barricaded(stand alone) reception room, rang the bell for some minutes without any response. I feared for my life as I stood outside of the barricaded reception room that clearly leaves the guest exposed to the open entrance and the streets. It is possible to be robbed or attacked during or after checking in whilst the hotel attendant remains safe behind the bullet proof window. Unbelievable “hospitality” in this century, yes, I need a refund please.
