The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was clean, quiet and accessible. The free parking was a great addition. I would recommend staying there and I would definitely stay there again. When entering my room after checking in following a family event we encountered a female staff member seated near the elevator and a male staff member seated in the hallway who identified himself as “security “ this was unusual and suspicious. The establishment didn’t appear to need any extra security so I’m not sure why those individuals were really there. I would definitely look into this more before booking here again.

I like the location of the hotel being so close to the college as well as free parking. The towels felt stiff and hard, bathroom looks outdated. Mattress and pillows weren’t comfortable at all. Buffet was expensive for what was being offered.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. My only issue is they had construction going on right under our room and it was booked so we couldn’t be moved.

I appreciate the free parking and be able to get a meal delivered I did not realize the checkout time was eleven o'clock so I had to reschedule my meeting for earlier time so I wasn't just hanging around my meeting location for an hour and a half or two. I would have liked to have the option to check out at twelve thirty or 1pm.

We went to the facilities of the college of Maryland and this place was conveniently located for that purpose and the price was great. Space was clean, organized and all amenities were operational. All great I have the impression the front desk could be a little more welcoming. They did not say/do anything wrong, but they could have a warmer aura, especially for guests that come at night.

I loved this hotel it’s clean and nice, other than that there was a museum and everything was so clean and the staff was so nice, good food, restaurant very nice, and clean nice people. Next time I come to Maryland, Baltimore I will come here! Trust me there is not fake pictures on google it’s not fake clean and it’s real I love the location because it was close by the University of Maryland, anyone who travels to University of Maryland, choose this hotel! had wine at the bar the night before. good wine-don't know how much it coasr becasue i only kept the overall charge for wind + flatbread. when I went to the room called 'vending', expecting to find sodas and/or candy bars etc, I found only ice and a microwave.

Our room was clean and quiet even though it faced the roadway. There was some major roadwork going on but only heard muffled noise when they were jackhammering the roadway. They appear to have decent windows and blackout shades for guest comfort. Construction ended by 5pm and the room was quiet. The garage parking was free which is a bonus. Overall, we were satisfied and would recommend the hotel to others.

First the staff was amazing! From the quick fix to booking issue at the front desk to the friendly attentive staff in the restaurant. Everyone when above and beyond to make me feel welcomed! I had issues with the TV, but we really weren't in the room enough to even mention it to the front desk.

The only negative thing I can say is that the room's coffee pod machine was a disaster. The machine was very finnicky and at one point just shot water with a 'pop' all around it covering a circle of a foot or two in each direction. I was lucky I had no electronics or anything important nearby. Once it actually started working, the temperature was adequate.

After the hotel accommodated our change room requests, our stay was beyond phenomenal. Our youngest daughter had her college graduation, so being able to celebrate her and her desire to spend as much time with us as possible, including nights at the hotel, was truly a blessed event.

Free Parking is a rare thing in the region. Close enough to greenline stations for DC trips. Very quiet and safe. I will bring my sneakers next time for the fitness center.

However, customer service was great and the room was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second time at this hotel. We come here every year for annual ball and it's always a great experience. The breakfast option is good and I would definitely recommend it. I love this restaurant.

Not only have we stayed at hotels lately that don't clean our room, but they don't even give us enough towels. The service here was great! Room cleaned every day and plenty of fresh towels and such a friendly staff.

We stayed at this property due to the location at the University of Maryland. Football weekend and I’m not sure if they were aware that a game was taking place a 1/2 mile away. If we were to stay in College Park again, it would be at another property, look at the newer “ The Hotel “

On a positive note, the staff in The Common was professional and kind….from our waitress to Eric, who delivered our food each day.

Staff was very friendly. Grounds well kept. There was urine in our toilet when we arrived but they cleaned and the rest was fine.

But the restaurant bar should have stayed open until midnight on weekends. At least for room service…

They upgraded me to a nicer room, and also upgraded one of my special guests from their room to a better room. I can’t really remember being treated better by hotel staff anywhere. As far as improvement, the pillows smelled not so great. You might want to replace the pillows or have them thoroughly cleaned.

An excellent facility that is well staffed. It's a little out of the way if you're planning to be in downtown Washington but it's also nice for that reason. Good dining options around the hotel and great service.

Everything was perfect clean and comfortable, their staffs are very friendly and they answered all my questions, ong the restaurant 😍😍😍 the food was very delicious and we was served with a good meal and we enjoyed, I’m looking forward to come there more often and we might have our wedding reception there on one of the ballroom this year 2024

The staff were wonderful other than in the restaurant. We stayed at this Marriott last year and found the quality better than this year. I was surprised to find no microwave in our room and the fridge froze everything! The service in the bar/restaurant was slow and a cup of very expensive coffee was not very good quality. We choose this Marriott for convenience, but may rethink it for future stays. The location can’t be beat, but it was lacking in other areas.

The hotel amenities and staff were great! ... Conference amenities were great too. My only complaint - and this is not specific for this hotel actually - couldn't figure out how to make the display on the thermostat to dim so that I could sleep in the dark.

Check in was extremely pleasant and helpful. We initially was staying for one night but decided we needed to stay another night as we wanted to stay with the bereaved family. The extra night added onto the reservation was not an issue. Loved the room! Will certainly revisit when in the area.
